My first experience of Tiger Sugar was actually in Vegas! However, I don't remember much because well...Vegas. So I was super excited to hear that Arizona was getting one! I went about 3 weeks after the Grand Opening around 3pm and there still definitely was a bunch of people coming and going. The inside is pretty small and there's no seating. You order your drink and grab and go. I tried the Signature which is the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea with Cream Mousse. I am lactose intolerant, so I was happy to hear there was a lactose-free version. Only downside is that the lactose free version doesn't come with the Cream Mousse. Still so delicious. I also love that it had normal size boba and mini boba. The boba is SOOO GOOD. So soft and chewy and not the super overcooked boba taste that some boba shops have. Tiger Sugar is definitely going to become one of my regular places for sure. read more

I ordered their signature brown sugar boba, milk + pearl with cream mousse. It seemed like a smaller serving than what I'm used to getting for $5.75. The boba and pearls were nice in texture but I don't know what the cream mousse fuss was about. There was such a tiny amount and little taste, it was almost nonexistent to me. Honestly, if it wasn't for the service, I would rate this much lower part of my low rating is I just I didn't like the item. I typically like Boba, but I am picky. My favorite is the brown sugar. I had a meeting nearby and I needed to kill some time. I saw some great reviews so I thought I'd try this place plus some of the pictures looked really good. I did get their brown sugar Boba, but they had many different varieties. I don't remember which one I picked. I was excited to try it, but the minute I started tasting it I just could not continue. I'm assuming their Boba is made differently. I don't know if it's like a red bean or something and that sense but I did not like it. The rest of the drink just did not give me brown sugar vibes. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea with boba, and I found that it was not impressive. I didn't like how I was unable to customize the drink (the sugar level I understand not being to customize esp with their signature drinks, but the ice level wasn't unfortunately adjustable). The drink tasted like cereal milk, and the boba was just alright. The drinks that my friends got were respectively too sweet and made incorrectly -- one was a brown sugar lemon tea with 50% sugar but still was way too sweet, and another was an oolong tea with cheese foam but came with milk added. The only reason I am not doing 5 stars is because their customer service is on the dry side. I always try interacting with whomever is tending to me and when I did that here, I ended up feeling so uncomfortable and dumb, I will just come in, order with a straight face and leave next time They do have an amazing selection of drinks. We have been by a handful of times and we have only tried one drink twice (a strawberry one, can't remember the exact name but it's so delicious and refreshing), they are very much on the sweet side but it's a treat we always enjoy. I liked Tiger Sugar but I'm not going to be coming here again three on different times the baristas just give me straight plain milk with boba. The first time I caught the mistake because my drink wasn't very green for a matcha tea. The second time it was a brown sugar tea but I didn't notice it was just milk because the brown sugar boba changed the color a little so it looked like there was black tea in it. And now this time it's the Taro tea. I didn't notice the plain milk color until I got home. No purple. Doesn't taste like anything but sugary milk. Very disappointed that this has happened more than once and I'm not going to drive 30-40 mins back from my home to just fix it. A waste of money. The boba still provides a little bit of sugar, which it was perfect because I'm trying to decrease my sugar intake but not cut out sugar completely. DF friends - The black and green tea (T6 and T8) are dairy-free. They offer lactose-free milk and soy milk as alternatives. Note they have black sugar black/green tea and black/green tea LATTES (T5 and T7) which are different drinks. I think more drinks are DF, but I didn't want to ask about them one by one lol. As they were making the drinks in the back, they kept asking for confirmation on which drinks needed to be dairy-free. I appreciated them making sure because I'm always afraid people will forget. Today (07/16/2022) was the grand opening and boy was it packed. Waiting outside was somewhat difficult due to the heat; however, the staff did try handing out water to help the heat. My friend and I arrived around 3:30 pm and the wait was around 30 minutes (I could imagine it would be longer when the temperature is cooler). Drinks (4/5): My friend and I both got the Brown Sugar Boba Milk + Pearl with Tiger Jelly + Cream Mousse. In addition, I also decided to try the Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Milk with Cream Mousse. Each drink were approximately around $6-$7 and they only come in one size. One you place you order, the wait time was around 3-4 minutes to get the drink (which isn't bad at all). All of the drinks were very good and delicious. The Brown Sugar Boba Milk + Pearl with Tiger Jelly + Cream Mousse was my favorite! It had a nice flavor (somewhat like a coffee flavor) with nice toppings inside! The only downside (which I can say for both drinks) is the cream mousse. I found that the cream mousse was unessential and did not impact the drink too much since it was so little. The Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Milk with Cream Mousse was also good, but I found the matcha to be quite subtle and needed a bit more. Service (5/5): The service was great! With the weather being so hot, the workers would come out every so often to hand out water bottles to cool off. My friend and I was also indecisive so the cashier tried helping us to narrow down our options. She was very patient and other workers would also provide their opinions which was really nice. Atmosphere (3/5): Overall, the shop was very small and tight. It was very cramped and we were standing very close to the people around us. Decor was very minimal but it was nice! I think having the plush tiger was a really cool addition and noticed that many people took pictures with it. There was also good lightings which makes for really good pictures/selfies if wanted haha. Overall, a good place! Drinks were made with good quality and flavor. Truly disappointed that the drinks weren't great and paid almost $10 for each. The strawberry crush drink had a lot of cubed ice that was filled halfway to the top which made the drink really bland.
