Very nice spot for tea and ice cream, but you definitely have to try the ice cream. It's the rolled ice cream and entertaining to watch them make it. We tried the taro and chocolate. Both were very good. The staff is very friendly and have lots of patience as you try to decide a flavor!

I can't buy happiness, but I absolutely can buy Milk Tea. Great thing there is the latter. From my list of bookmarked milk tea and boba shops in the valley, I finally checked out Tea Avenue, a cute and vibey milk tea spot at Mekong Plaza. This time, instead of my usual go-to flavor, Matcha, I decided to try their newest addition: the Red Bean Milk Tea. I have always enjoyed red beans in refreshing beverages. I enjoyed the creamy milk tea combined with the subtle sweetness of the red beans. Tea Avenue offers a variety of equally flavorful milk tea options. I will definitely try other menu options on my next visit. The prices are budget-friendly without compromising its taste. As a Yelper, I keenly observed not only to the taste but also to the service. Being a first-time customer, I like the friendly and welcoming service. Also, I appreciated the server's effort to ensure my cup was sealed properly to prevent any spills. Tea Avenue shares its space with an ice cream shop. Well, if you are not into drinking teas, you can opt to scooping some ice creams.

I ordered a a honey milk tea with brown sugar gelatin boba-like things. (I don't remember the exact name of them). I typically prefer tapioca boba, which is what I was hoping to order, but they were out. I did not care for them, the texture was very strange and not similar to tapioca boba. The service was good - it was easy to order. My cup had a hole in it but thankfully I noticed before I left, and the guy working put it in a new cup. The vibe of the shop is cool, it's inside the Asian market in Mesa so it was fun to order then walk around the little mall. There weren't many people, so we got our order pretty quickly.

I love the Thai mango smoothie drink. I have never had anything like this anywhere. It's basically a mango smoothie with coconut milk and tapioca. It's amazing, rich, and delicious! Get this and you will not be disappointed!

Usually this place is mobbed with people. Only two customers today and I was able to make my order immediately. I studied the menu and ordered the Sapphire Blue Raspberry Gemstone soda. It comes with 80% sugar. Staff asked if that was ok. I asked for less and he dropped it to 50%. It is a fizzy drink. It was perfect. It quenched my thirst; not too sweet. There are different sizes as well. I had a nice sit down in the empty store. Shared parking lot with WiFi.

I really ought to get a badge made that says, "Boba AuthoriTEA." Get it? Get it!?! Tea Avenue is inside of Roll Avenue. Having just had dinner at Mekong Palace, we were going to stop off at our usual boba place next door when half the group decided that they wanted ice cream. Not being a stick-in-the-mud, we decided to stay with the group and was pleasantly surprised to find that they turned one of their counters to a boba counter. Aw yis! A Ruby Red Strawberry and Strawberry Roselle Tea were ordered. We got our drinks at 30% sweetness and it was suuuuper sweet. I felt like I gained three cavities on that first sip alone. I can't imagine what 100% sweetness would be like! The Ruby Red Strawberry was okay but the Strawberry Roselle Tea was pretty good. They just need to work on their sugar levels. Not bad, Tea Avenue. I see you.

Just another boba shop The tea was very expensive. I got pea tea with lemon for $4.95. That didn't include any toppings. I usually make pea tea at home and was wonder if it'd taste different from another shop. The lemon taste in their drink overshadows any pea flower flavor (which is light). But what I was annoyed is the cost. I would expect something like this to cost $3 or less because of how effortless and cheap the making and supplies are. Good boba place! At first, I was having hard time finding this place since there's no sign, but actually Tea Avenue is Ice cream Avenue. So, if you are not sure where this place is at, Ice cream Avenue is actually Tea Avenue! (Next to Tasty Pot) I tried Lychee Mango and House milk tea here, they are pretty good. Also you get to choose your own sweet level and ice level for your drink! They even have HK egg puff, but hmm... that was just ok to me. But drink is good :)

I saw this place as I was walking in Mekong Plaza and I thought I'd go give it a shot. I love the orange drink at Dayung so I thought I'd give their Ragin' Orange drink a try. I was a bit disappointed because I got 100% sweetness but the drink tasted like it was watered down. Their employees are all friendly though, and the place is pretty cute. I'd go back and try other drinks next time, and hopefully update my review depending on how my next drink is..

Love this place because they use real fruit! Highly recommend the regular mango smoothie or Thai style mango smoothie I also like that you can choose the sweetness level. I go with 50% to help with my sugar levels

Tea is amazing there and very refreshing. I was bummed that I left my purse in there and called and they said no one turned it in . Something told me to go back myself after being hung up on and stressing I would not get there before they closed I made it in the nick of time and my purse was still there untouched. I was so relieved. I will pay closer attention and not leave my purse. But the drinks are amazing. read more

If you're looking for cheap drinks, look no further. My friend and I ordered the matcha oreo cream cheese tea. Tasted really creamy with a nice crunch from the oreo. I am a matcha junkie so this hit the spot. Since it was around Valentines Day, the drinks came in heart shaped cups which was very cute and instagramable. The environment is great for taking pictures. They have angel wings on the wall you can pose with your drink and post on social media. I know they serve rolled ice cream, but I only go here for the drinks because honestly how many shops sell drinks for under $4 nowadays? read more

Stoped in for the grand opening at this place. They have more favors and combos then you could ever try. I settled on the Supernova Lemonade with aloe vera and it was awesome! Not overly sweet and the aloe added a little texture. Second picture was the Grapefruit Fruit Tea. It had so much favor and pulp in it. Last picture was the Northern Lights Apple & Grape Slushie. This one was beautiful with all the stuff in it! This place is worth stopping by to try. read more

I have always been a fan of roll avenue, now that they have tea's too i love it even more! I ordered the Roast Milk Tea with Cheese Cream. The Cheese Cream is super light and has a great flavor, not too salty or sweet. The tea had a great roast flavor as well, you can't find many teas like that in AZ. My friend tried the mango tea and the black grape slush which were both super refreshing, I can't wait to come back in summer time to have more fruit drinks, I sampled some and you can really taste the fresh fruit. One thing that is worth mentioning is that they don't have boba, they have many other toppings like jelly's, aloe and pudding, but don't expect there to be boba here! The Thai Tea ice cream is delicious, this is one of the few places I can find that flavor. It is a great experience being able to watch the rolled ice cream be made and to customize your ice cream. I ordered the Oreo matcha cheese cream and by far the best matcha drink I've had in a while, including from California. You can taste the matcha but it's not bitter or too milky and the cheese cream is sweet and yummy. read more

I really like this Tea Avenue the milk tea passion food specially mango ice cream the shop before I liked is shop next door (Tea Snow) but the new owner is not as good. So I tried this shop but I didn't expect it to be super good and delicious, you should try this place immediately. Well priced. Worth the wait when it was busy. All their teas make the cutest photo shoots. I also give this tea shop 5 stars for two reasons: #1) as they ask how sweet you like your beverage. I like my drinks less sweet & my spouse has a sweet tooth when it comes to just tea. #2) they have grass jelly. Perfect Milk tea. read more

Not a fan due to the customer service. I loved Roll Avenue so I was excited to try this new place. My tea ended up tasting terrible and I asked if I could exchange for a different one. Most places guarantee customer satisfaction. It doesn't cost much and they wouldn't lose a customer. Now I'm too afraid to try anything else so I will not be returning. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

I tried the house milk tea, and I could not finish them all cuz the taste is too bad. I am not sure what kind of milk that they are using but it tastes like tea with super thick heavy cream. I also order the lychee tea and it tastes like syrup... I think they should make some improvements to the ingredients that they use to make their drinks.. waste of my money read more

Tea Avenue is located in the busy Mekong plaza in Mesa. They serve different type of boba drinks and also a variety of desserts. I ordered the matcha oreo and I really liked my drink, it was the perfect sweetness and fairly priced. It was busy when I was there but the drink was still made quickly. The staff was friendly as well. Definitely a good option for boba if you want something or sip on while shopping at the Mekong supermarket! read more

This is the first review I've written so like you know it's not that good. Anyways, first off the way that the cashier had no patience for us like I'm so sorry I'm contributing to your businesses revenue. Besides the point, they don't even have boba #pain. The closest thing they have is boba crystals which is dumb but it's like ok too. I ended up getting a Thai tea and it's so sweet kinda insane and does not taste like Thai at all. And Thai is my favorite drink :((. My friend got the lychee oolong tea and it's ok, the lychee is lowkey built funny. The interior is ok not super cute. Uhm I'm too scared to ask for a refund so I'm forcing this drink down my throat. Never coming again. read more

I tried a variety of items on my visit, and every single one was a winner: Rolled Ice Cream (Mint Chocolate Chip): The rolled ice cream was creamy and beautifully prepared. The mint chocolate chip flavor was bright and authentic, and most importantly, it wasn't sickly sugary!
