The shop is laid back and definitely has that local feel to it. I was greeted right away and had a nice chat with the friendly staff. She didn't just make small talk, she made me feel welcomed and took the time to go over their offerings. 19th Donut Hole offers a wide variety of donuts, drinks, sandwiches, and even custom cakes. To be honest, I wasn't craving a donut at the time. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to try 19th Donut Hole since I'm very rarely in this area. Hit up 19th Donut Hole for the first time to bring a few goodies for a get together. Its a cute shop, that offers ample parking and also has indoor seating you are looking to enjoy in store. They offer more than just donuts as well, including a few savory breakfast items, ample pastries and beverages. This time around I just wanted to get a few dozen donuts and donut holes. It was about 10:30 on a Saturday morning, I got a mixed variety of classic donuts, including classic glazed and old fashion. They had some fun sprinkles for Halloween as well for a few! They were completely out of donut holes, which was a bummer. Not sure if they continue to make them and I had bad timing, or just too late in the day, but i would have expected a more stocked option on a weekend. The donuts were good! I did not love my old-fashion and found them a bit small, but the classics were nice and airy! I snagged two dozen for about 30 dollars. Overall, worth a visit, especially for a sweet craving. I really want to rate these higher, but I just can't. I got a half dozen about 2 months ago, and didn't love them. They weren't bad, but they didn't taste super fresh. I went to write my review and saw the overwhelmingly positive reviews and decided to hold my review until I gave a second chance. That second chance came last Saturday morning, hoping for some fresh donuts to truly give me a taste to review. I picked a variety half dozen, and unfortunately came to the same conclusion at my first experience. The shop workers (owners?) both times were pleasant, nice, and helpful. Both times had regulars sitting and talking inside. I still feel like maybe I'm missing something, but with two trips with the results, I'm locking in my rating. As you already know, there is no such thing as a bad donut. What you get here lives up to that. Not as light and fluffy compared to some of the other local shops around, but still good flavor overall if this is the most convenient to you. read more

Had been craving some donuts and wanted to see what my area had to offer, so I hit up the Yelp app and found 19th Donut Hole, saw the pics and knew I had to go. I can tell you since finding 19th Donut Hole on the app, I have been back quite a few times. Service has always been great and there is a nice selection of donuts to choose from, unless you come later in the day, then maybe your favorites are gone. My all-time favorite donut is the French Cruller and not many shops carry it but 19th Donut Hole has them on Sundays so you best believe I hit them up! So far, every donut I have gotten, from the crullers, to glazed, to maple long johns, sprinkles, all have been delish! They are the perfect donut! Craving donuts? I think anything on a croissant how could you go wrong. I took on advice that it was what I should try so I went for it. The owner is a sweet as they come. Probably why his donuts are as good as they are. The array of donuts and selection of different drinks he served up looked really good. Those I'll hit on Friday. Friday can't come fast enough. OMG These have to be the best donuts. From Cronuts to cinnamon rolls to Cinnamon Twist to old fashions. They are delicious. The coffee is also hot and really good. The owner and his family are some of the most hospitable, friendly people I've ever met. I'm down here for about three months and I make what I call the donut run. I have several friends that we are down here together in a RV Resort. When I go to get donuts the owner is very accommodating and packs each bag like I want them for my drop offs. Great service. Owner is very nice. Ordered a Peppa pig cake for a birthday. My order was accommodated on pretty short notice (only a week's notice). Ana sent me some designs and I picked one that I thought was exactly what I was looking for. We agreed on one tier, 8" and a full fondant cake. To match the colors, I drove to the store and provided Ana with the Peppa pig candle that I was planning on using. We also agreed that the flavor would be Black Forest with mixed fruits (not fresh) and a mascarpone cream filling. I didn't pick up the cake but a family member did. The cake was ready on time and it looked pretty good and matched the design. The cake however was just a chocolate cake with a cream filling and no fruits. Nevertheless, the cake was moist and had a nice flavor. Overall, a very good experience and service. Prices are average too. read more

Was super excited to try this place out and decided to stop by for some donuts on Tuesday. It was 5pm and we figured we had more then enough time until they closed for the night. We parked and made it in. The guy working didn't greet us and didn't even say hi until I decided to speak up. It maybe wouldn't have been so awkward if he had some music on. He stood and stared at us while we looked at the menu. We also had time to look at the small selection of donuts they had left. The encounter with him was really weird.. I think he was new? Not friendly though. I decided to ask him about the pricing of a half a dozen box since they didn't have it listed. He said it was $5.50 and so we opted for that. They had some sugar, glazed, some sprinkle ones, maple glazed, some chocolate, and some other selections to name a few. We got one glazed, two sugared, one maple with peanuts, one sprinkle, and a crumb one. The inside needs a major facelift. They have carpet throughout and the inside looks very crowded. We sat outside and the seating is well uhhh old. The doughnuts were ok, nothing special. We wanted donut holes and when I asked the guy about them he shrugged his shoulders and said he had run out for the day. I wouldn't come out of my way to stop by here again. Holy Banana Peels! Ok, so I've lived in Mesa for a long time and had only once been here awhile back, when I didn't eat donuts or sweets. I recently stumbled on it again because of the Binz. It's fun to wake up early in the cold, stand in line and grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee. The croissant, turkey bacon and cheese sandwich was great. Today, I saw it come up again on the Too Good To Go app and immediately purchased a box. First, I'm extremely excited to find mom and pop places that care about not letting their food go to waste, but second....THE DONUTS ARE SO GOOD. This was at the end of the day too. Normally, I would never choose a glazed donut, but there were two that stood out to me as some of the best donuts I've ever had. One was sort of a cinnamon crumble and the other was glazed with no hole. When I tell you I broke it in half and tasted the dough in the middle...it was heaven. Soo soft. If you're in the area, give them a try. Everything is made daily. Maybe one day I'll get a cinnamon roll and croissant in my box. read more
