    Pint of beer on draft
    Christine T.

This local beer shop has an awesome selection of craft beers, both on tap and in cans. You can buy can(s) and enjoy them there or take them to go. I think they still have their deal of $5 off any 4-pack of beers (you can mix & match). They also serve wine if beer is not your jam. My friend and I like sitting at the bar counter, but there are plenty of large tables with benches both inside and on the patio. We like to come here for trivia on Tuesday nights at 7:00pm. Sometimes it's themed, but this past Tuesday (08/26/2025) was general knowledge. The top three teams get a Beer Barn gift card! Unfortunately we did not win, but we learned some random facts and had fun! They don't serve food, but there are so many great food options within the Epicenter, and you can bring them into Beer Barn. Highly recommend following Beer Barn on Instagram or check out their website because they host a lot of fun events every month, like tap takeovers, yoga, bingo, etc. Cheers!

What's not to like? We went here twice during a 4 day stay in the area. Both times were to wait for a table at Buck & Rider in the same plaza. And both times the text came much sooner than expected so we never got to spend more than 15-20 minutes here. But in that short time, we enjoyed the beer options - both on draft and in the cold case. I always go for a barrel aged imperial stout and there were always a couple of options. And the service was very friendly both nights. I also like the indoor/outdoor space. We sat at the bar inside, looking across to the bar and tables outside. Over two nights we had: Mehndi by More Brewing; Double Stack by Great Notion Brewing; The Better to Hear Me With by Tripping Animals Brewing, and Timberbeast by Great Notion. The winner was the Mehndi. Yum.

Great, open air atmosphere and fun place to hang out with friends and enjoy some delicious cocktails. The only downside is my 10oz glass cost $7+.

A great little spot to check out some unique craft beers. They have a massive selection of beers on tap, plus the fridge of any cans you'd like to try. Happy hour was perfect. $2 off 16oz beers. They also had a good selection of wines. The beers were all labeled according to color. They had lights, IPAs, Sours, and Darks so it was really easy to pick out something you'd like off of their board. We enjoyed it so much we went back for more later on. We sat up at the bar and just in time for free Bingo. It was a great time and we even won a $5 gift card to use toward our bill. Will definitely be back.

Came here a Saturday for some drinks & chill. My Yelp Bff Ariana and I decided on drinks + darts! We really enjoyed our time and seems like a happening spot! Lots of people watching games or playing games. Def. will check out one of there event nights.

Beer Barn is one of our favorite taprooms in the valley, mostly because we have had so many good experiences at this place. Since we used to live close by, we were invited to the open house party before the grand opening. There were so many people who attended the event, to a point we had to start using plastic cups instead of actual beer glasses. We quickly became a regular at this place and participated in many of their events, such as trivia nights, Octoberfest (they had a different name since they collaborated with the neighboring businesses), happy hours, and many others. At that very place, my partner and I decided to adopt our puppy, and soon after we got the puppy we took him to Beer Barn for some protected socialization. Since that, we always made sure to include our puppy whenever we wanted to get a drink here. Our puppy also became a regular and he would automatically walk into the bar even though it was 7 o'clock in the morning. Since we moved, Beer Barn has been one of the places that we missed the most. It was so fun to have a place where we could get a cold beer on a hot summer day, spend the last few hours of work from home, socialize our puppy with other dogs and dog lovers, and hang out with friends. This place is part of the Epicenter business circle, which means it is next to a group of other restaurants, bars, and shops. If you have never been to this area, you should definitely plan for a trip.

This is number 15 a West Coast clear IPA called tree service. Super delicious.

Most definitely an enjoying this place. They have no kitchen just snacks but you are able to bring in your own food. Staff is super super knowledgeable about any type of alcohol they have here. Ambiance is fun it is a super clean place

Nestled in the new Epicenter off of Higley and Ray road. The environment truly represents a barn feel from the picknick tables, metal bar stools and even stall type rooms you can rent. The beer selection is unique and there are many on draft and also beers you can grab from the cooler and have them pour for you. There is also a decent wine selection and a mix of coders and soda. There is limited snacks for sale, but you can bring your own in. The Air Guitar is close and has great pizza. Tuesday are BOGO!! There is plenty of seating inside and out and my one star short is due to how uncomfortable the stools actually are. Maybe by design to move people out All in, we enjoy coming here often and glad to have something close by to enjoy great brews.

Refrigerator fully stocked with a variety of refreshments.

Great selection of beers and then there's the refrigerator filled with more beer, cider and seltzers. They don't sell food but you're allowed to bring in your own food. We went on a Tuesday for quiz night but that week it was cancelled, so check first before showing up.

More beer is better, right? The name gives it away - if you're expecting a pleasant selection of brews and wines, you'll get what you came for. My wife and I popped over on the tail end of a date night to check out one of first of the new Epicenter establishments. There's a decent selection of beer on tap, and you can choose from three different pours if you're not sure which one you like yet. I was happy with my choice of a lighter lager, though you can get some pretty heavy powered options with ABVs upwards of 8-9%. The breweries represented included local brands like Wren House and 12 West, as well as names I had never heard before. Not a fan of the hops? You can choose from a few different red and white wines. It turned out one of the wines my wife picked out tasted a little skunky. I mentioned it to the bartender, and they replaced it with another bottle right away. I appreciated their attentiveness. I also appreciated the décor of the bar, with it's neat old-timey Gilbert features, with the barnyard façade. The bathroom has a cool shared sink area with a wall of cans that was pretty fantastic. Along with Barnone nearby, it's great to see great new places to have a beer and hang out in Gilbert!

Fun spot at The Tyler. Love the vibe. Wednesdays are wine Wednesdays $2 off glasses of wine all day. There's a bottle special too. Plenty of options for beer. Wine list was decent. I tasted a couple of the whites, they were ok. The rose was my favorite that I tasted and drank. My date driank the sangiovese and gamay both were yummy. Also sell beer and wine to go. Yoga this Saturday. I'd come back

One important note: I hate beer. I don't even like seltzers you'd get in a can that much. Cocktails and mixed drinks are my go-to. However, I do like ciders and my mom likes meads, which means she thinks I'd like meads as well. Anyway, we arrived around 5 on a Friday and the place was smaller than I expected, and not very crowded at all. There was only one bartender and he wasn't busy when we sat down at the bar, meaning he was very friendly and attentive. I like anything fruity and/or sour, so when I saw the sour gummy candy drink, I knew I had to try a sample. Not surprisingly, it wasn't as amazing as I expected. I then tried a sample of this honey pear cider, and it was a little better than the sour gummy candy drink. My mom ordered a 5 oz of the other flavor we were eyeing: the key lime pie cider. That was the best cider we had tried. The mead flavors all looked intriguing, but I just didn't feel right spending $11 on a drink that I didn't even know if I'd like (since you can't sample meads). If I was feeling more adventurous, I would have gotten the pb&j mead, but I opted for a prickly pear and vodka lemonade. I watched the bartender make it and he poured quite a hefty amount of vodka in the glass. I wasn't complaining one bit (my mom was scared though lol). Upon tasting it, it wasn't the best mixed drink ever, but it was strong and went down easy. Plus, it was a better price than these $16 cocktails you see at all restaurants nowadays. My dad got the moose drool brown ale and I hated it whereas he liked it. It was a nice, clean place with just the perfect temperature air conditioning, and the happy hour time range is honestly amazing if you're like us and prefer to go out early and be home for the rest of the night. Also, sick merch. It was giving Game of Thrones (hence the dragon name haha).

Food 10/5 We ordered the zucchini which were served in a nice and little crisp batter. They were great. We ordered a salad which was large enough for sharing. The dressing was the perfect paring for all the wonderful ingredients. Entrees included an order of Egg plant parmigiana over pasta. Portions are generous. My entree was tonight's special, prime rib ragu also a generous portion. The prime rib was nicely incorporated in their linguine style pasta and with other fresh vegetables in a hearty an slightly sweet sauce like my own. This was a perfect recommendation by Alyssa thank- you I'd order this again. Desert was a large serving of crème brûlée. The topping was perfectly toasted giving it its crispy texture and smoky notes. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options: outside patio, high-top outdoor seating, inside bar seating, and traditional indoor dining. We arrived in that sweet spot between lunch and happy hour, so the restaurant was quiet and relaxed, exactly how we like it. Drinks My Blue Hawaiian ($15) was absolutely amazing, it really hit the spot, and I was still feeling great when we left! My husband ordered the Pizza Port Chronic ($5) and said it was a nice, refreshing change of pace. Our Server Andrew Andrew greeted us immediately, walked us through both the food and drink menus, and was genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was the highlight of our visit. Exceptional service. Appetizer Butter Board & Bread We started with the Butter Board ($14), served with toasted bread. The butter itself, whipped with ricotta, herbs, and what I believe was a honey drizzle, was absolutely delicious. My only note is that the bread edges were toasted a bit too dark for my taste, leaving a slightly burnt crust flavor and aroma. Entrées I ordered the Seared Scallops ($48), which were plated with white potatoes, purple potatoes (possibly ube), and sausage over a rich sauce. Unfortunately, the purple potatoes had a burnt taste that was off-putting, and I wasn't able to finish much of my meal. My husband, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed his Grilled Striped Bass ($48), beautifully plated and well-executed. Final Thoughts While my entree missed the mark this visit, Andrew's outstanding service and the overall ambience more than carried the experience. The space is gorgeous, the concept is lovely, and I can absolutely see returning when the seasonal menu refreshes. In my opinion, it's worth a second chance, we will be back.
