Sitting at the bar located at the O.H.S.O. restaurant inside the Mesa Gateway Airport

My husband and I absolutely love eating at O.H.S.O. when we have a flight out of the Mesa Gateway Airport. This spot is well priced and we worth the short walk down the hall to get too! Do not get caught-up in the high price option available when you leave security. Get more food for your money by eating here! Hours vary, service was fantastic, and food was delicious! Table, hightop, and bar seating available.

So where to begin I was greeted by the future Karen's of the world. I wanted to sit at a high table and was told I couldn't cause it was a 4 seater and it was busy .... When I was seated there were 5 people in the place ..... so she lil Karen got mad and walked away the lil Karen # 2 told me we been busy all day and want to save the seats for larger party's and I was here first so I sat down No one came to serve us so we stopped lil Karen #2 said very rudely she wasn't our server and walk away what has happen to service today ? Well a very nice lady came over and served us and apologized for the behavior and let us know it was overwhelming busy today and that's probably why they were karening.... The beer was cold that was a plus the fries were over cooked but it came with a good sauce so that made it better I won't be going back ever but I will be leaving a nice tip for our server and I hope she showed the other future Karen's ! Five stars for Stacy our server who knows how to treat people and when I thanked her she said she like her job

The service is fast and friendly, the beer is cold and everything is spotless. The menus are adequate for the venue. I had the beef, bacon, cheeseburger with fries. Definitely should of split. My husband had the ham and cheese on sourdough bread with fries. Our hot food was served hot! Imagine that. We'll definitely eat here again on our next trip home from Phoenix.

Lettuce leaves I didn't eat. Created after landing and getting back.

Is this only accessible if flying from Gateway? I know Barrio is at Gateway but you can access it as a regular non-traveling consumer.

Great deal too. The place is nice and decent in size. Parking was ok. It has some seating outside and some inside, along with counter top seating at the bar area and two areas with couches to relax in with friends to play games & mingle. They have a variety of games to choose from so it's also kid friendly if you bring your kids with you. They also have water and water cups to the side if you need some. The bartender who was there tonight was friendly & allowed us to take our time choosing the beer we wanted to try on our flights. Overall, some of the flavors were interesting and some weren't to our liking. Honestly, it really comes down to preference of how the flavors came through when you first sip it if you ask me. It was a hit or miss for me and my friends. Out of the 5, I did enjoy the Wy Abbo one the most since it's a guava pale ale. It had good flavors. One thing for sure though, I kind of wish all the beers on the flight were more cold. I don't know how to explain it but the temperature of it wasn't as crisp as I thought it should've been and it might've made a difference for my palate if beers came out colder. I also wish they included seltzers in their flight option. That would've allowed me to enjoy the flight more since beer can be heavy & fulfilling when you have multiple. We really wanted to like the beer options at this place but it wasn't for us. Glad we were able to test it out and for me, I only came because my husband and friends like beer.

They have couches inside as well as a nice patio with chairs and some umbrellas for shade. The L-shaped bar seats 15 people and there are six high tops that seat six people, three picnic tables outside for eight people each, and a long couch inside for four people to chill. My beertender was very friendly and accomodating. He gave my dog Hansel a bowl of water and a biscuit. This is a very dogfriendly taproom. Both beers I had were very tasty. My first pint was a Hefeweizen. It had a slight waxy mouthfeel. My second pint was an oatmeal stout. At 7.3% ABV it was a tad strong, but it went down very smoothly. I snacked on some free popcorn but it was seasoned with a strong spice. Thankfully I could help myself to the water fountain. I enjoyed the ambiance and will be back.

I've been here a bunch of times over the years. Giving 4 stars simply due a mix of experiences, good and meh. Most recently we sat at the cocktail bar ordered a beer & whiskey sour. Drinks came quickly but then it took a while for anyone to ask if we wanted food (we originally intended to). I think what happened is that our original bartender may have gone on break, while a new person coming on shift was busy doing things and didn't know to check with us since we already had drinks in front of us. It wasn't a major issue. It just created a long gap which gave us the option to decide to go elsewhere. We also noticed the beer we ordered was flat and we eventually let the new bartender know. She offered to get us a pint of something else but we had decided today wasn't our day at 12 West and move on. Typically beers are great, cocktails are solid, and food is good too. What seems to vary the most is service.
