After quite a few revisits for our favorite's, I finally decided to try the Goat Biryani. What a fantastic dish. I have heard quite a few waitstaff in Indian restaurants tell me that Goat Biryani is the best biryani. There may be something to that. The Wok & Sizzle version certainly makes me think it is a thing! The first surprise was the amount of Goat meat in the dish. Without question, the most meat in a Goat Biryani that I have ever had. On top of that, it is served with a fantastic sauce and Raita. The depth of flavor permeated every bite and it was delicious. Of course, we still had to have the Butter Chicken, which is our favorite dish but the Goat is super close. Thanks for another amazing meal! read more

Cute little restaurant with nice service but unfortunately the food was just so so for me. The garlic naan was absolutely amazing. It was so good that we loved it enough to order another one to take home! Unfortunately butter masala and chili garlic chicken were disappointing. They tasted very similar to each other and neither had the bold distinctive flavor with depth I was hoping for. Other than the garlic naan, I wasn't impressed with the food. The restaurant itself is cute and the service was fine but based on the food, I probably wouldn't return for the entrees. The garlic naan tho was definitely a winner. read more

I've always loved Indian food. As far as Indian food restaurants go, this one's ok. The dish I get at every Indian restaurant is Chicken Korma; the korma here did not taste like korma at all! The green curry was pretty good. If you were to order one dish, get a Biryani (we got the Meghana). The mango lassi was definitely different, but in an interesting way. It had cardamom in it, which is different than usual. The service was pretty slow. We didn't get one of our dishes until all the other dishes were eaten (at that point we were full). The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and modern. I don't think I would choose to come back here, but if someone invited me to dinner here I'd go with them. read more

I'm always down for trying a new Indian restaurant! This one touts Fresh Indian and Indo-Chinese Fusion with Bold Flavors. Sounds perfect to me! The exterior signage was hard to see as we came here at night time, but driving by after our dining experience but before writing this review, it looks like they have a new permanent sign on their exterior! That's always a good sign that they intend to be around for much longer. The interior was clean and spacious with a mix of tables and booths. The booths were comfortable and large enough to fit my tall family which isn't always the case these days. Our server was friendly and gave us a rundown of the menu and their favorite dishes. I got the Tom Yum soup and red curry chicken. My son also got the red curry and my wife had the butter masala. I noticed they didn't have lamb as a protein option...just chicken, veggie and paneer for the curries. The curry had a good spice and heat balance to give my mouth a little flavor dance without flashing the warning signs my stomach may be fighting a fire. The curry is accompanied by basmati rice, which I ran out of about halfway through my curry. My curry also had too much chicken! I know that's a strange complaint but next time I may go with a veggie curry. We also shared buttered and garlic naan. My son gobbled up so much there was naan left (none left...dad joke). The strangest moment of the night is I paid our server with my credit card - tapped it on the handheld card reader and then she immediately walked away. We waited about 5 minutes and thought it was strange I didn't get to select a tip amount or finish the transaction. I found the server and asked her and she said she didn't apply a tip and we were 'good to go'. Thus we had to use the cash on us and leave it at the table. I definitely look forward to coming back and trying new dishes- veggie biryani, red or green tandoori chicken, or a different curry. I also would like to sample the chicken lollipop and butter chili garlic shrimp appetizers. Likely will increase my rating to 5* if the food remains excellent and we don't have an awkward bill-paying moment. read more

Newly opened in our area and of course we had to visit! The restaurant is clean, decor is simple and so far a very calm environment with low conversations. The staff are very kind and welcoming! I had the chicken manchow soup and the schezwan noodles with chicken medium spicy. I very much enjoyed my dishes! Can't wait to explore their other menu offerings! Yall should definitely check it out! read more

We enjoyed the food at this newer restaurant. The Veg Samosas come out first and they perfectly crispy and had a generous amount of filling. The Veg Momos came out after and were generously filled but were cold on the inside. The garlic naan came out at the same time as the rice and Chicken Tikka Masala and all of this dishes were very good. If you are not a fan of a super amount of garlic, ask them to lighten it a little for the garlic naan. We also ordered Biryani and my boyfriend was able to take leftovers and eat it for three meals. He also enjoyed the Bluemoon mocktail. It is great for those who like sweater drinks. The apricot delight was very delicious and not overly sweet. The service was great in the beginning- we got sat and place our order right away. The food came out quickly and they continued to refill our waters. We also were asked if we wanted boxes and they gave us a bag since they noticed we had multiple. The staff were all very kind. The ambiance is more of a sit down casual. They had nice place mats and it was not super crowded. It was comfortable and very way to park. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and the service. I would just pass on the Veg Momos next time. read more

I've been here multiple times, both for dine-in and takeout, and Wok N Sizzle never disappoints. I booked through Resy using my Amex dining credit, which was a nice bonus. Everything is halal, incredibly fresh, and you can really taste the difference. The tandoor is excellent--the naan and BBQ are outstanding. Favorites include the chili garlic chicken, Chicken 65, fish, momos, samosas, and fries. The restaurant is clean, has a great ambiance, plenty of parking, and the prices are very reasonable. Their takeout is consistently great too, and the rewards program is a nice perk. Definitely one of my go-to spots. read more

This newly opened spot at the corner of Gilbert Rd and Queen Creek is already creating a buzz for Indian cuisine in town. We went on a Saturday evening around 7:30 PM, and the place was packed. The ambiance is modern, clean, and inviting definitely a nice setting for dinner. However, the service was quite slow. We were seated promptly, but the food took at least 30 minutes to arrive. If you're there for a relaxed, leisurely meal, it works. But with young kids, the wait made the experience a bit challenging. We ordered the garlic shrimp, fried momos, and grilled chicken. Their Indo-Chinese menu is solid great flavor and taste, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The downside is the pricing and portion sizes. For what you pay, the portions don't quite do justice. Overall, it has great potential. I hope they improve the service speed and reconsider portion sizes and pricing because the flavors are definitely there. read more

Came to this new Indian restaurant as they had some interesting items in their menu. I was exited to try their momos but honestly it felt like frozen dumplings reheated... their corn dish also did not hit for me something about it was missing, my mom said when she came before it was extremely crispy but this time it wasn't the same. The biryani was solid and overall it was a good experience. read more

Everything was good that we ordered: chicken & paneer tikka masala, baby corn, spicy fried chilli shrimp, garlic butter nnan , biriyani except for the chicken Momos. Those are not chicken Momos.. and I've had chicken Momos in India..they tasted like Costco chicken dumplings... which was disappointing. Overall the food was flavorful and authentic. The Biriyani took longer than everything and came towards when we were finishing sadly. It was still very good the next day! The fried appetizers were very crunchy, loved the shrimp. They also didn't ask if I wanted a receipt and was done after paying.. read more

Ambience was simple and very calming music playing. Many choices for dinner. The food was so flavorful, we loved everything and look forward to returning. Perfect balance of spice and flavors. Tiki masala was so rich and yummy! Mughlai Biryani was delicious, loved it with the yogurt sauce. Naan bread was crispy and perfect. As for the service, young ladies were very attentive and friendly, happy to make suggestions for us. read more

Ordered chicken lollipops, tikka masala, momos, and a mango lassi. The chicken lollipops were well seasoned and tasty. They were my favorite. The tikka masala is more on the tangy tomatoey side as opposed to being more creamy. The mango lassi had good texture and flavor but I think a little extra sweetness would be nice. Service was good and accommodated my no cilantro preference. Seating is comfortable and spacious. read more

Our friends referred us to this restaurant and raved about the food. We were excited because our favorite Indian restaurant closed down due to low traffic. Let me be clear I'm not that kind Indian that goes to Indian restaurants just to hate on them or complain about price/ portion size. I admire any restauranteur trying to make a living off of their own love for food. I sadly can't give any feedback back to this restaurant on food because I didn't get a chance to try any food. We arrived at 6:58pm on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Now before you restaurant snobs think that Saturday evening and no reservation was the problem -- I'll stop you right there! If a restaurant can't perform without dedicated reservations then don't seat walk-ins or make sure you highlight on the web that you only take reservations. They seated us, me, husband and our two kids, after we sat no menus were provided. On the table they had a QR code for the menu. So we sat on our phones and reviewed the menu but it was the most incomplete menu. A table behind us seated right after us, they got service almost immediately, were handed menus right away-likely friends with one of the gentlemen with a gold chain that worked there because they were talking for a while. 10 minutes passed no one checks on us and we still don't have menus. So I walked to the reserved tables and snatched (on purpose) the menus on the empty table next to us labeled reserved. The entire staff saw me do this. No response. Another 7 minutes go by, my daughter was really hungry, my husband is fuming and now I'm seeing red. The best part.. a reservation 7:15pm walked in and sat at the table where I took the menus (I put the menus back before they walked in) and within 5 minutes of the reservation table sat down, a waiter came to there table and took their order and walked away. You have to be blind to see, our table was empty, no menus, no drinks. The table behind us that sat after us got another lovely conversation from the gentlemen with the gold chain. Now I'm seeing red. I'm making eye contact with every staff member at the restaurant and another 5 minutes go by and FINALLY a waitress comes ASKS are you waiting for your dishes?! Now I don't blame this waitress- she was told to talk to us from the gentlemen with the gold chain. The only other waiter who walked around the very small restaurant taking everyone's orders except ours still didn't acknowledge our presence. It wasn't until the waitress returned asked us if we were just waiting for our dishes, which what the hell kind of question is that. My response was no we haven't even ordered!! She comes back and handed us menus after being seated for 22 minutes. I was so mad I stood up and started walking out and only then all 3 servers came up and asked what happened said out loud that 2 tables sat after us and they got service- I'm not waiting for another 20 minutes to get service and walked out. We would have been returning customers had the service been better. Good luck! read more

Ok let's break this down. I genuinely appreciate a solid good Indian restaurant near me because tell me why this place is SO DARN GOOD AND SO SO SO AFFORDABLE. I had so much of their garlic naan and it's so perfectly crispy and warm. The servers were all so nice and kind. Whenever I needed an extra straw or napkins they were very quick with it. Please when you have time GOOOO here!!! read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this new find. It's not much to look at inside which may be why there was a steady flow of take out orders the entire time we were there or it could be the overall great food. We tried several dishes and liked just about everything. The Manchurian Fish was excellent. Great flavor, cooked just right and just enough heat. We tried both sizzler platters and preferred red over the green but the side lime cilantro sauce was great on both dishes. The naan bread was tasty but we'll probably skip the butter chicken next time. The sauce was ok but the chicken pieces left something to be desired. We'll probably stick to take out next time and try out a few new dishes. Overall great traditional dishes for a reasonable price. read more

This place is a hidden gem we have driven past many times and said, "We need to try that sometime." Well, we did, and wish we had stopped sooner. We have had the Chicken Momos, Veg Momos, Garlic Naan, Chicken Biryani, and the Hot and Sour Soup over a couple of visits, and everything was exceptional. Once we dined in, once we did carryout, and both experiences were top notch. The service was great, and the food was even better. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

Wok & Sizzle - Red Tandoori - Indian Near Me - Chandler, Arizona

Typically, I'm not a big fan of Indian food, but Wok Sizzle was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the chicken Manchurian, steamed momos, burnt garlic chicken noodles, green tandoori chicken, and for dessert, the sizzling brownie and gulab jamun. The quality and freshness of the food stood out immediately--easily better than most Indian restaurants we've been to. The dishes were simple, not overdone, and had flavors that felt unique rather than the usual "standard Indian restaurant" profile. Everything tasted well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. What really sealed it for us was the fact that our kids enjoyed the meal, which says a lot. This definitely isn't your typical Indian spot. The sizzling brownie deserves a special mention--it was excellent. The brownie was moist, unique, and not overly sweet, which is rare, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Service was okay, likely due to new staff still getting trained, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. The ambiance is simple and modern, again not the typical Indian restaurant vibe. Overall, Wok Sizzle exceeded expectations and is a place we'd gladly return to. read more

Some of the MOST DELICIOUS INDIAN FOOD! It wasn't basic like other spots. Good Size servings! The Resturant and Staff were very nice too.

We love this place!!! Our new go to Indian restaurant nearby! Highly reccomend the butter chicken and definitely add the mango chutney.

we have been to this place three times now. The service is phenomenal. The ambience makes you feel warm. It's really cool if they have the Instagram like feature where you could take a picture if you'd like and the TV with the music kinda has a nice little touch to it. We ordered the paneer tikka masala and the butter chicken with samosas veggie all was amazing. The pricing was really fair. Will be back again. Love the spot give it a try. read more

As for the food, the Goat dish was filled with bones. Big bones and little bones, half the entree was bones. Very disturbing. No one ever checked on us or refilled our water, it wasn't for lack of staff. We thought since they took reservations that it would be a nice evening out, and it wasn't. Upon entry, woman behind the bar area yelled to me--- couldn't understand so I walked to her as she continued to shout across the restaurant. Yes, we have a reservation. There were only 2 tables of guest at our arrival. Odd to not be greeted properly. The servers continue to shout across the room to each other from around the restaurant as they took orders throughout the evening. Very unprofessional. We used Resy and it showed no openings past 5:45 on the Friday. The restaurant was mostly empty, never filled more than half way while we were there. I think they don't know how to use the reservation system and it clearly hurt them as we wanted to add guests to our evening but online showed no room. nice evening out, and it wasn't. read more

Just had lunch here and it was awesome! Food & service perfect! Ordered Butter chicken, Tikka masala, green curry, shrimp fried rice and veg spring rolls. Its a new place but very good. Loved the food. Sitting very nice and staff is good. I'll visit again.

We decided to try this out tonight for dinner. It was terrific! The spring rolls were hot and fresh and not too heavy. I had Chicken Tikka Masala and really loved it. The rice that came with it was very good and we ordered garlic naan bread that completed the meal perfectly. My wife had Methi with chicken and she liked it but it was a bit spicy for her so she ate more of my dish than her own. It was perfect for sharing and honestly we could have just shared one entree between the two of us and been happy. Definitely will plan to visit again. read more
