Curry chicken and rice
Gabi M.

I stopped into this Curry Corner on a whim on a weekday evening recently and I was not disappointed! I went with the Curry Chicken and Rice and it was delicious, but there are so many items on the menu that sound good, so I'll have to return to try them, and ideally with friends or family so we can dine family style and share. Service as friendly enough for a fast casual restaurant and I was in and out pretty quickly.

Great addition to Gilbert Gateway Towne Center! Curry Corner is a casual Indian and Pakistani restaurant specializing in curries. I took my son on an early dinner date here one Sunday evening before a movie. We were greeted right away and asked to sit anywhere we'd like. A server came by our table shortly after to take our orders. I've never been to their Tempe location, but based on the photos, this location looks much smaller with only enough seating for around 30 people or just under. The previous business that occupied this space was a fast casual restaurant. This location had only been open less than a month so they weren't equipped to offer everything on the menu yet. I was hoping to try their fish entrees, but they weren't serving fish at the time of our visit. My son and I ordered the following: Goat karahi $18 Paneer Tikka masala $13 Garlic naan $4 Everything came out hot and fresh. My tikka masala was creamy and tasty, and the naan was perfectly garlicky. I didn't try my son's goat karahi, but he thought it was delicious. The staff and owners--who were there working--were all wonderful. We look forward to returning and trying more items on the menu!

My friend and I came here to try out this place during our lunch break. We arrived around noon and it wasn't busy. There were plenty of open chairs and tables. Parking was a bit of a pain as it's shared parking with other restaurants in the plaza. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered to dine in but unfortunately the food took longer to prepare than anticipated. So we took the food to go instead. The staff was apologetic and kind enough to waive our Strawberry Lassi drinks. The food was...delicious. My go to and safe dish to order is always chicken tikka masala. I figure if it's not to my liking then it's an indicator that the place may not be for me. In my opinion, I can say that this place has the better tikka masala dish in the area (better than Tikka Shack & Guru). The amount of spice was perfect and it was full of flavor. My friend's dish was also very delicious and flavorful. Her chicken was so tender and juicy. They definitely used fresh strawberries for the strawberry lassi because there were strawberry seeds throughout the drink. It did remind me of a lighter and slightly tart strawberry smoothie. I'll need to try their mango lassi next time. We will definitely come back again and try the other dishes. I highly recommend supporting this local restaurant!

Located between Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Starbucks. The parking lot gets busy during peak hours. We arrived on a Friday at 7PM, only one other party dining. The restaurant is a fast casual sit-down hybrid. They took our order at the table, but I had to get my own water and napkins. The Chicken Makhani was DELICIOUS! The Paneer Tikka Masala was ok. The Mango Lassi was on point, not too sweet or watery. The table next to us ordered the Mixed Grill Sizzler. It looked and smelled TASTY! I'm getting that next time!

Glad to see an Indian place near by! Haven't tried the Tempe location though. My husband and I came during dinner time, not too busy. We asked what was close to butter chicken and they suggested the CHICKEN MAKHANI. Very flavorful and a hint of spice. I'd get this again. The PANEER TIKI MASALA was ok- the cheese was plain and it was the sauce that saved it. Will skip this one next time. Naan and rice were pretty standard. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Clean tables. There are about 7 tables total. On a busy night, there might be a wait. I'll come back to try more of the menu!

OMG the food is excellent! I'm super impressed. My dish is super fresh made to order and has lots of delicious flavors to it. Bursting with flavor best describes my lunch! The food was made to order with high-quality ingredients and you can definitely taste it. Everything is made from scratch. Yum! I will definitely be back.

Goat Curry.

Food was excellent. I will definitely be making Curry Corner one of my places to go. Also great to contribute to this business outside of eating at mediocre mass chain restaurants. Everything we ordered was demolished so we ordered a few more items to take home. I highly recommend this establishment!!

Great art work! In Naan we trust.

Great lunch or dinner food! Inside was comfortable and spacious . Don't sleep on the Indian Biryani because it's close to the south side of Indian flavor!! Prices for appetizers are affordable for position size

I was looking for some quick Indian food and saw this place on Yelp. It was empty when I arrived,…read morebut it was a bit early for lunch on a Saturday. While I was there, it started to fill up and there were quite a few food delivery service drivers picking up orders. That's a good sign. I imagine this food is well suited for takeout. The place is on the small side but clean and well-lit. I ordered a bowl with rice and naan at the counter and pulled a rose lassi from the case. I had paneer with spinach masala and a side of Shack Naan (topped with garlic, cilantro and cheese!!!). My food arrived quickly and was hot (temperature). No complaints. The paneer was firm and the masala had a good texture and depth of flavor. The house spice level wasn't really spicy at all for this dish, but I wanted a baseline. Some Indian places start on the high end and only get painful from there. That's not the case here; I'll definitely go Hot next time. My food disappeared nearly as fast as it showed up... I will be back, even if just for some Shack Naan to snack on.

I would likely go mild next time... it be like that sometimes! Service was quick and we were all happy with our meals! Great for takeout too, I'm sure! :-)

Well, I said I would give them another chance, and they did not disappoint…read more I have been back to Buzzing Cuisine around 5-6 times since my first poor experience and the quality of food has been consistently good, if not getting progressively better? I have had a lot of Indian food, and this is still some of my favorite in Arizona. My go-to order here is usually between the malai kofta, shahi paneer, lamb korma (please try this), and the chicken 65. I find medium spice to be the perfect level of heat. The depth of flavor in their curries are incredible. The shahi paneer in particular is a great example of how precise their process must be. You can genuinely taste the combination of every spice used, and it feels like they used the perfect ratio. There are so many different notes of flavor and not a single one seems to be drowning out the other. The same can even be said about the chicken 65, but the curry is where this really shines. Also they've been really good about their rice, it was the perfect texture the last few times we've been. I can't comment on the service in-restaurant since my girlfriend and I are the kind of people to get takeout and watch a movie, but I will say the carryout ordering process has gotten significantly smoother. Ordering on the phone seems to be the way to go, and I have not had any of my orders messed up. I have had a couple times where I was awkwardly waiting for someone to be ready to help me get my order, but the wait time has generally been WAY better (like literal seconds), and staff are friendlier. Overall I would probably give a 4.5. Due to how good it is, and more importantly, how *consistently* good it's been, we've pretty much gone here every time we want Indian.

This go visit we ordered a couple different samosas, gotta have me some naan!, chicken biryani, chicken mugulai soup, and some lassi drinks. The mango lassi was def the better one, the other was too salty. For dessert we ordered the kheer & rasmalai. The food was still good, but the service was ... well, it could have been much better. Not just the quiet, mumbling server, but having the dirty empty dishes (that we piled up on the corner of the table) sit there for far too long. Our server last night was so friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu! He was able to answer all questions and made a great suggestion in my entrée. It was a Saturday evening, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but my friend and I were able to be set immediately once we arrived around 8 or 9 PM. We ordered the fried chicken small plate and the green pea samosas. The green sauce that comes with the samosas is fantastic, soo flavorful and yummy! I was worried about not liking the samosas because I have a strong dislike for peas, but they were honestly so good, and with the sauce, no complaints. The fried chicken was also pretty good and came with his own green sauce as well. This sauce had a creamier texture to it and was good, but not as good as the other sauce. My friend ordered the butter chicken entrée and I was shocked to find that at $28, it did not include rice. As a matter of fact, a side of rice was $6 to add. At the price you're paying, I feel the least they could do is add the tiny bit of rice they give you for $6. Anyway, upon the server's suggestion, I ordered the fish curry. I was a little nervous as I tend to avoid ordering fish at restaurants, but it was good and I was pleasantly surprised! I initially thought this portion was small, but honestly upon eating it it's probably a decent portion for the meal you're getting. The $33 price tag is a bit up there, but I'm also not knowledgeable about the cost of Seabass and what not. Lastly, I did order the cheesecake dessert , and found it wasn't for me. I expected more flavor from the donuts baked with it as well as a caramel drizzle, but didn't seem to get that. It really just tasted like plain cheesecake to me, which is not my favorite. My friend liked it though! If you are a cheesecake lover, you'll probably love the desert.

The rice was hard, like it had been sitting for a long time instead of being freshly made. They also got rid of the carrot dessert that used to be on the buffet (one of my favorites), so even the selection isn't the same anymore. The drinks and desserts were just as disappointing. The mango lassi was chunky and weird instead of smooth and creamy, and the rice pudding was so thin and liquidy it was almost like sweet milk.
