We had no problem at all getting a seat during lunch hour. If I had one complaint it would be the small serving of chicken for almost $5, but it's comparable to other salads in town. I've been coming to Wildflower for lunch for years and always been really happy with the food. A friend suggested it for breakfast. I ordered a Baja Bowl. When it came out, I thought it was tasty--potatoes and veggies with two sunny side up eggs. As I cut into the second egg, a sheet of uncooked egg white slid off the egg into a little puddle of goo. It was absolutely disgusting. No one wondered by to check on us, but when someone came by to bus our dishes, I mentioned that my second egg was not cooked. Her response was, oh we would have remade that for you. Not, let us remake that for you, or would you like something else, or let me get you a refund. I won't be coming back to Wildflower for breakfast and it will take a while to get me back in for lunch. read more

I tried the Almond Tuna and listen...the tuna itself was just... average. Nothing to write home about. BUT that bread. That bread carried the whole situation on its back like a champ. If the sandwich gets any love from me, it's strictly because of that bread. The Red Lentil Coconut soup was exactly what you'd expect...basic, standard, nothing hitting or memorable. I wanted flavor, depth, something, but it never showed up. Now the Salmon Alfredo... portion size had me excited, but the salmon itself was bland. The pasta was softer than I like...I'm an al dente girl...and the sauce was giving generic cheese sauce, not Alfredo. Again, the highlight was the garlic bread on the side. THAT was delicious. Now on to the sweets....aka my happy place. Chocolate chip cookie - Standard. Salted Caramel Pecan - Delicious. Shortbread cookie - Standard. Sour Cream Pecan Coffee Cake.Dry, mid and a "never again" for me. But The Royal Cookie...listen it was worth every bit of its $4.69 price tag. Rich delicious, and absolutely worth it. And can we talk about pricing...You can get three cookies for $3.29. In 2025, where everything is overpriced and underwhelming, that is a blessing. Went in and my order wasn't ready so I went through the doorway to the bookstore next door for a bit. Came back and my order was ready but I took the opportunity to check out some of what they had since I normally only ever get the chicken Ceasar salad. I guess they decided to delete my review - so let me brief this again - I came to this place about 2 months ago and the place was new didn't know where to order until I seen the menu in the front as I was about to order the guy a big guy didn't say excuse me he just came in front of me to add more of the sandwiches/salads in the fridge and as he was done he walked in front of me again without saying excuse me and so I ordered my meal sat down with me group he was the one who brought out plates and the plate was dirty and so is his hands and finger nails. This place definitely needs to get it together with service and how the food is presented to its customers. I will definitely not be coming to any of their restaurants because I'm about first impressions & service and food was not it. read more

Running around doing a lot of holiday errands and needed some food as I was headed to Changing Hands next door. I've never tried this place, but was always curious about it when I went to the bookstore, so today I had an opportunity to try it out. You order at the register, take a number to your table, and someone brings out your food. I had the combo 1/2 soup and 1/2 salad. I chose the Asian salad with peanut dressing on the side and had a bowl of the forest mushroom soup. The mushroom soul was fantastic with big chunks of mushroom in it and I loved this! The salad was ok and could have used some protein like tofu or chicken and the lettuce was a bit wilted, but it was a good salad. I also had a bottle of Topo Chico with a twist of lime but for $3.50, I think I will pass next time. Who girls were gossiping like little school girls, never acknowledged I was standing at the glass case and never looked over to see what I was looking at. 2 giant flies, flying all over the pastry case having a field day. It was the most disgusting thing I have seen, the flies were taking their time sampling all those expensive pastries. My wife and I came for a late lunch / early dinner. She got a bowl of Tomato Feta Cheese soup and half Turkey cheese sandwich with cranberry sauce. I got the bowl of Potato soup and full Ham and Swiss cheese sandwich which came with chips and a soda fountain drink. Food came quickly and was very delicious. A little disappointed that the turkey sandwich cranberry sauce was actually only a cranberry spread, but it was still good. The sandwiches were STUFFED with meat and very filling. The soups were delicious and mine came with their excellent bread. Lots of staff around keeping the tables clean and everyone was very nice. I visited the Tempe Marketplace location for a to-go order. I tried the special sandwich, the Brisket Torta with chips. Overall it was a very good sandwich. It was well seasoned and large, I ate half for lunch and the other for dinner. I asked for the chipotle sauce on the side and am glad I did since it had some kick already. It is a messy sandwich so I ended up using a knife and fork. One thing I wish Wildflower would do is separate the chips in the container. Often the chips get soggy and especially in this case when the sandwich is warm and saucy. I bought some cookies as well and they were very good as usuall. read more

A friend mentioned they have a great BLT, so I decided to try it out. Very disappointing that though the menu online says toasted, and shows toasted bread, it wasn't. A BLT on untoasted bread just isn't right. Unfortunately I had done pickup so by the time I noticed, not much to do about it. Between 2 and 3pm you cannot get breakfast and you cannot get food from their full menu, you can only have soup or sandwiches. 2/3 of the menu becomes unavailable. I saw the macaroni on the menu and I came for it, but they don't serve it until after 3pm, but breakfast ends at 2pm? This overlap of unavailable food seems to me like an impractical way to operate a restaurant. So I'll leave with nothing. Couldn't try any of the food. Not here for a sandwich. Not a good experience. Wow wow wow.. I've been sleeping on this place. I ordered two days in a row. That's how much I loved it. Thursday I ordered the Mac n cheese and BLT with mixed chips and it was incredible. The mixture of guacamole and aioli on the sandwich was top tier, creamy, fresh, and surprising all in one bite. I will say the sandwich was better than the Mac n cheese and I ended up adding bacon from my BLT The BLT was wonderful. Crispy bacon, creamy aioli, great mix of chips and crunch with the lettuce. First time visiting here. I live in California, so this place reminded me of Panera. However, this may be a little better than Panera, in my opinion. I thought the menu options were amazing.
