Came here after searching on Yelp for a good lunch spot and Yelp came through for us. We were in the area and stopped here for an early lunch. I ordered a turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sandwich, which was just great. Not completely unusual as the sandwiches are pretty common but if not done right, they can taste "off". This one was put together well, didn't fall apart, and tasted great. We also ordered avocado toast and a tuna sandwich and both were solid. As a new Tempe resident I was looking for new places to go when I stumbled upon this cute joint! I'm a crazy for a nice lunch date! I just moved to Tempe and was looking for a nice place to eat and get some studying/ work done and came across Wildflower. This is such a perfect place for lunch, they have large tables and booths perfect for getting work done since they have wifi. I ordered half a Turkey and Brie sandwich with an Asian salad it was so so good and filling. The dressing they used on the salad was so good. The staff at Wildflower was also really great they were kind and answered all of the questions I had about the menu. We love Wildflower but today it was EXTRA good! My sister and I split a Ruben sandwich and Sean H. made it for us - BEST one we've ever had! The meat was cut thin and nice and hot, and the meat was well spread out with n the delicious rye bread (which was toasted perfectly) so there were no "empty" bites - each bite had perfect combo of meat, sauerkraut, and yummy thousand island dressing (hate it when the insides of a sandwich are all in the middle and you get a lot of bites of bread with no good stuff). Well today was a miss for sure. My daughter and I came for dinner after dance and ordered Mac and cheese kids meal and I had an Asian salad. It was great but it was different. I kinda think that it had a hint of pimento as part of the ingredients. Never the less it was delicious. And I also ordered a garden salad and I added protein (steak). OMG! It was love at first bite. This garden salad was packed with all types of healthy ingredients and the steak was cook to a perfect medium rare. It was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back to order this one again. I think that I will try the steak and bleu cheese salad the next time. The restaurant is very well organized and the servers were very accommodating. I did not have to wait very long at all for my food to be served and when my food did hit my table I realized that I ordered way too much food!! Lol. No problem. Oh! And the food The food was super FRESH. I was provided with take out containers for the food that I did not consume. This was an exciting find because I have passed this establishment many times in many locations around the east valley where I live and I always thought for some reason that this place would not be for me. Wrong! Dead wrong.... I will be putting WildFlower into my regular rotation of places to eat. My family and I are normally regulars at Panera, but a friend mentioned Wildflower to me and after her raving review, I had to try. We all went in last Wednesday night and were greeted by the most pleasant staff! We had no clue what to try, so we went up to the manager Sean and he gave us some great recommendations. He had us try the chopped salad with salmon, the rosemary chicken pasta, and offered up Mac and cheese for our daughter. She's normally a picky eater, but she loved this Mac and cheese. We split the salad and the pasta and both meals were to die for. Sean came over to check on us and we raved about the food to him! Absolutely atrocious experience with this Wildflower and GrubHub. NOONE notified me that they were here to deliver the food-no text, no call, no knock on the door-NOTHING. I decided to go down to the hotel lobby and see if they inadvertently left it at the front desk and there the bag was sitting at my door. Food arrived cold (soup); salad was warm and the cookie I ordered was not in the bag. Yelp website for the order states to contact GrubHub and they could care less. Luckily the hotel I'm staying at had a microwave so that I could heat up the soup. Couldn't eat the salad and like I said, the cookie wasn't in the bag. For a $20 food order and $15+ in fees in this is what I get. I would NEVER use GrubHub again if this is the representation of their service and customer service department. read more
