The Thai coconut chicken bowl from ChopShop will forever be my favorite meal. I love how light and healthy it is while still coming packed with flavor. I ALWAYS opt for the sweet potato hash as one of my sides as it's to die for. The sauce on this bowl is so yummy. The waitress accidentally made one of my sides the roasted veggies when I didn't want to order that, but they actually were really good so I didn't mind. Our food came out really fast which was great as we were in a hurry. I liked that this location has an all day breakfast menu so I'll have to check that out sometime. While the place was busy, there's so many tables and seating options we were fine for our small group for lunch. read more

Awhile back, Yelp had a perk for their Elites try out Chop Shop over in Paradise Valley and I loved the food I tried back then, so tonight stopped in to have one of their protein bowls. My favorite and the only one I have ever tried was the Thai coconut chicken bowl. I had this again tonight but chose tofu instead of chicken tonight, I also had the veggies base, plus jasmine rice and potato has as second base. It comes topped with peanuts and cilantro. You order your food digitally and in about 5-10 minutes, food was ready! I took it home to eat and pretty much inhaled all of it! I love this dish and thought the price wasn't too bad. A pretty filling bowl that's fairly healthy was $12.50. I'll definitely be back (they have many locations throughout the Valley) when I'm in the mood to have some tofu/chicken that's cooked in a Thai coconut style, loaded with yummy veggies! read more

ChopShop is awesome. The people who work here are so nice and they seem to all love their jobs! Everything is made fresh and it's very healthy! The food is amazing. I love that it's not just plain old chicken and rice, they add vegetables, hummus, sauces, etc. The lemonade is amazing! I would highly recommend. Overall, I will definitely come back. The inside is really nice and clean but other than that I wasn't a fan. I ordered the glow up protien smoothie and a hot honey chicken bowl that came out to $22 which before trying them I thought were decently priced. The bowl had nice flavor but mostly consisted of lettuce & tomatoes & hardly any chicken or rice. The protien smoothie kind of just tasted like coconut milk and was extremely watery with chunks of protien in every sip. I didn't finish either of them. read more

ChopShop is my go-to spot for fresh, feel-good food and a huge part of that is thanks to GM Jeff! He always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Seriously, you can feel how much he cares even in virtual communication. My absolute favorites are the açaí bowl (SO refreshing!) and the teriyaki chicken bowl, it hits every time. Whether I'm grabbing something post-workout or just want a clean meal that still satisfies, this place never misses. Love the energy, love the food, and LOVE Jeff. Highly recommend! read more

I had a great first experience here a week ago, the bowl was amazing, and I recommended it to friends and family. But when I went back for a pickup order, it was a completely different story. The steak was burnt, the sweet potatoes had a weird aftertaste, and the avocado was just a few tiny pieces. One of my chicken sides was almost empty. Really disappointing after such a strong first visit, seems like consistency is an issue. read more

Clean and spacious with a pet friendly patio. Plenty of umbrellas that can be moved around for shade. The staff were patient and helpful when exploring the menu. We decided on the Spicy beef Korean bowl & the Beet Salad. My 12yo loved her bowl and the salad was delish. We both left no crumbs behind. The portions are quite filling. I LOVE the Original ChopShop -- it is my fav super healthy "fast food" eatery! I think the price points of each item are fair based on portion sizes and the quality of the food. I personally REALLLLY enjoy the Hot Honey Chicken Hummus Bowl, Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, and Acai Bowl w/ peanut butter and extra granola. Love this location because there's ample parking in the lot and a lot of seating both inside and out. Service was very friendly from the lady taking orders. My cousin loved the Balanced Bowl she ordered, which looked really healthy and filling Now for the not so great - the açaí bowl. I came here specifically because I was craving an açaí bowl and I read other reviews that said it was good here. Unfortunately, my açaí bowl was too melted. It was half melted when it arrived to the table and as I was eating it, it basically turned into açaí soup because it just didn't have that nice frozen consistency to begin with. So I enjoyed the flavor and the toppings but not the texture of the açaí portion of the bowl. I'd definitely eat here again, but next time I would try ordering a rice bowl instead. Great Healthy & Tasty Food, with EXCELLENT customer service! Just had a catering order for 40 people at our home for graduation. We eat here for breakfast & lunch often and have used Original Chop Shop catering for previous events. KNOW that you will be well taken care of by the Manager of this location and his staff. Jeff knows the importance of these special occasions and works hard to make your event great. Every tray looked beautiful... even the sandwich trays looked elegant!! The salads were awesome too. The inside felt clean, healthy, and somewhat comfortable. I can't remember the salad I ordered, but remember there was a lot of dressing on it. We wanted to go here after a workout at the gym. Their healthy drink selection was super nice, and had whole cococunuts to drink out of, and gut juice. They will cut open the coconut there for you. I ordered takeout from an employee inside this location today around 3pm, she was kind but got both of the items I ordered incorrect, then when I got home to eat the food, the sweet potato in my order was burnt to a black crisp! I would be so embarrassed if I served this food to someone, I couldn't believe anyone would prepare that and give it to a customer. Employees were standing around talking to each other around the back kitchen--pretty disengaged from the front of the house (FYI to management/owner). I'd advise the staff be more attentive if they want tips or customers to return since there are tons of locations to spend money at! read more

Finally made it for lunch! I like the vibe when you walk in, chill and inviting. There is a wide variety of options on the menu but this visit we chose the teriyaki chicken protein bowl with brown rice and the chopped salad with chicken. The portion sizes were perfect and both dishes were excellent. The food came out pretty quickly so its a great option when you need to grab lunch quickly. Also there's a drive thru! I don't know why I think that's awesome but I do :) can't say I have seen many places with options like this with a drive thru! Will definitely be back. Maybe try a sandwich next time. read more

OCS is a really attractive restaurant with nice ambience, great staff and awesome food which is really healthy-an unbeatable combination. I had the chili lime shrimp bowl which tasted super delish with all the yummy veges including cauliflower, broccoli and onions. I also devoured a Grinder which was loaded with meat, provolone, juicy tomato on superb multigrain bread. Service by Julie and Kayla was super friendly, prompt and professional. I ordered online, my food was outstanding. I ordered a kids teriyaki bowl it is very big portion for a kids size and is only 5 dollars! Very fresh ingredients! My husband got a club sandwich which was also very good and fresh. Then we got Açaí bowls, very refreshing. And lastly we got the dollar lemonade which was also amazing. My food also was ready quick. A friend recommended this place for lunch and it did not disappoint. I have never heard of Original ChopShop until my visit but I am very pleased to have discovered it. My family and I stoped for a quick dinner between classes. The food was good but everything savory was marinated in black pepper so my wife couldn't eat any of it. She had an açaí bowl that she liked and would get again but it wasn't what she was wanting at the time. Our son had a steak quesadilla and seems to enjoy it. My steak bowl was delicious. -1 star simply because covering everything in a seasoning that not everyone likes and some have allergies to limits things. Black pepper is readily available for anyone who wants it so skip it when cooking and let others decide. -1 star because it took nearly 40 minutes to get our food even though there were only 4 other groups there when we were and only a small selection of online orders that we saw come out. The staff who were there were all very friendly but the staffing shortages was apart as they were all hustling trying to do too many things. Even being shorthanded they were a pleasure to interact with!! We plan to go back and try breakfast sometime, my wife is more hopeful for her food options then. read more

I am a frequent visitor to this location and came in today and nobody greeted me or even showed up to the counter. Meanwhile, there were three girls in the back, laughing and joking around on their phones. I guess they just expect everybody to use the kiosk now and customer service is completely gone. I've never seen a "wrap/tortilla" like this before in my life and had I known I think I would have been more pleased with some of the sandwiches that I saw served to the other patrons. The wrap/half burrito/tortilla had decent flavor but nothing that made me say wow. I think that in the future if I'm in the Gilbert area I will stick to that one. I have had a tremendous amount of success and satisfaction at the Gilbert location. At the Chandler location, meh.... I've seen and experienced enough. Oh... and the store was about the 1/4 capacity and there were so many tables that had not been cleared and clean.
