Instead of trying or give any effort, he had the audacity to tell us he could hear fine and it was us with the hearing impairment. EXCUSED ME!!! Come again? We thought he was joking around, but he continued and walked away. You have over 10+ ppl requesting for the sound to be turned up on a SUPERBOWL GAME at a bar. Your paying customers! And you can't do anything!!!? Really? You don't know where the remote is at? Or don't know how to turn your speakers louder? The food is pretty mid but the service and shady practices are the main problems. I asked for Diet Coke, I got regular, I asked for boneless wings, I got bone in.. Initially, we were excited about the endless wings deal on Wednesdays until we learned that they take between 15 to 20 minutes to bring you more wings. This is clearly designed to waste your time and decrease the amount of wings you will eat. My wife and two youngest kids were done way before my son and I because we had to keep waiting so long for them to bring a couple of wings out. It just wasted our whole night because it took so long. Everything was delicious, the chicken was tender and flavored well on both dishes! We look forward to trying other things on the menu! New and cool restaurant bar. Nice lively atmosphere with various specials on food and drinks. I met my sister here and she was already seated in a huge booth in the bar area. The interior decor is hip and appealing. There are several TV monitors all around so no matter where you sit entertainment is a blink away. Our server was nice and management came around to check on us. I did walk through the restaurant to wash my hands in the women's restrokm, which was nice and clean. I passed the kitchen that has an open view. I was surprised to see there was no food on the floor just spotless. They start you off with 10 wings then four refills thereafter. The first order comes with fries or tater tots. I opted for fries. I requested that my wings be cooked extra crispy with the Cajun dry rub flavor. Unfortunately they weren't extra crispy and a little larger than I would have liked. The rub tasted a little on the sweet side which was unexpected. I only ate half of the wings and left the other half behind. Normally I would take what I couldn't eat home and cook longer but I just left those since I didn't care for the dry rub. Needless to say 5 out of 10 wings was all I could eat lol even though I am more than capable of eating more. I did order a side of onion rings which were pretty tastey. I like that they were hand cut with a light flaky yet crisp batter. The onions were super thin though and they were almost over salted. We got a few items like the chicken bacon avocado sandwich on house made focaccia bread and the chicken wings. The sandwich was pretty large and the house made bread was excellent. I could eat that all day! The wings actually were pretty big than a standard buffalo wing. The flavor could be a bit more elevated, but still was pretty good wings. Hubby & I met our friends here for dinner last night. They just moved back to town. I have been talking up the place. We were disappointed. All the cocktails are extremely light pours. We tried multiple drinks between the 4 of us. None of them seemed like there was any alcohol in them. No, I'm not spending an additional $3 for a shooter since enough alcohol should have been put it the drink to begin with. Our service was horrible. After ordering our drinks we ordered appetizers. We got the crooked fried cheese. They got wings. The crooked fried cheese was really good again this time. Our friends were a little disappointed with the wings because some of them were crispy, but some weren't. We had finished our drinks & appetizers and still hadn't seen our server to order our entrees. My friend ordered the club with tater tots. She said both were good. Her hubby ordered the monte cristo with fire fries. He said the sandwich was good, but the fries had too much seasoning on them, and they were cold. Hubby ordered the wings because he loves them & fries. He was disappointed with them because none of his wings were crispy. I had the shrimp & fries. Both were good. I'm sure we will be back, but not for awhile. Service has to get better or we will not continue to come. Decided to try this place out for dinner. We stopped in with our kids and some extended family members. No wait, we were able to get a seat right away. They have an extensive menu that is all made from scratch in house. The kids menu has a decent amount of offerings. On Mondays they have a burger special. I opted for the smash burger and it was very delicious! We also tried their appetizer sample platter - the crooked fried cheese was the perfect temp for eating. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the whole experience great. As we were wrapping up our meal, the manager came over and gave us some Bubba's 33 swag since it was our first time in. The whole thing was the cherry on top of the evening. I was impressed by their pizza, wings, sandwiches, and entrees that all seemed reasonably priced and looked tasty. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the service was very good. We had wings and the kids had burgers off the kids menu. The boneless wings were fantastic and they were cooked to perfection. I recommend buffalo and garlic parmesan flavors for the wings. They have a number of sides, however the tots are the way to go. I would like to go back and try some of the entrees next time, along with the pizza that our server said was a house specialty. Great parking and many handicap spots. We came around 3 on a Thursday afternoon. Was seated immediately. Very clean and upbeat bar and restaurant. Many TV's and i can't wait to go for a game. We started with the onion rings they were delicious. Fresh hot and good. Then we had the grilled California chicken csme with a veggie rice and I got the dinner salad. It was $17.99 and was wonderful. The salad had everything in it pluses these shoe string chips omg. The chicken was the best piece of grilled chicken I can remember having. Moist, fresh and delicious with fresh ripe avocado and pico. I would give 10 stars if I could. Then the manager came over heard it was our 1st time brought us souvenir cups with a coupon. I visited this place twice yesterday, once for drinks with my friend then for dinner with hubs. My friend said the food was good and I wanted to try the shrimp. While drinking with my friend I found the margarita to be way too sweet to finish. My friend didn't really enjoy her drink either. When I went back I ordered the shrimp meal with a salad. They got my salad wrong twice. The shrimp were soooooo greasy and not crunchy, the fries were kind of soggy and just not enjoyable. My Hubs enjoyed his chicken sandwich. Had dinner with some friends. They mentioned Bubba's 33 since they ate at one of their locations in Colorado. I just had some bone in wings well done with the Shotgun sauce and had some with the honey Chipotle bbq. They were fine, but nothing special. My wife had the california chicken. She loves this plate at Texas Roadhouse, since these two restaurants are owned by the same company. The plate is the same except it has rice instead of a baked potato. The cheese sticks were also good. It did take a while to receive our meal, other than that. The service was great. Bubba's was fine, just not spectacular. read more

This review has nothing to do with the food or the wait staff. Our waitress Alex was great. This is about management. We came in on Super Bowl Sunday specifically to watch the game. Our table and the table next to us, about 12 people total, could not hear the game at all. No commentary, no plays, nothing. We politely asked the manager on duty if the volume could be turned up. Instead of being understanding, his response was dismissive and condescending. He said "well I can hear it" and then followed with "it's just music right now," making us feel like we were dumb or asking for something unreasonable. Asking to hear the Super Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday should not feel like a problem. We all left the comfort of our homes and our own TVs to come support a newly opened location and enjoy the game atmosphere. Instead, we were brushed off, talked down to, and ignored. There was no effort to accommodate us or even acknowledge the concern. The manager stood by his response and attitude the entire time. The only apology we received came later from the managing partner, who is the manager's manager. While the apology was appreciated, it came after the experience had already been soured and did not change how the situation was handled in the moment. To make matters worse, drink prices are not displayed on the drink menu. You only find out what you are being charged when the bill shows up, which just added to the frustration and made the whole experience feel disorganized and careless. Because of management alone, we will not be returning. It is disappointing because the staff was fine, but poor leadership, lack of awareness, and basic transparency completely ruined what should have been an easy, enjoyable Super Bowl Sunday outing. read more

Let me start off by saying, AMAZING! I came here for the first time on Saturday for lunch with my parents and had an amazing experience! Food: Absolutely perfect. The seasoning was on point, and everything was flavored amazingly! The salmon was cooked to perfection, no brown spots, and a very good portion size. The garden rice was very tasty, and the fries were amazing as well. As for the chicken, I personally like my chicken a little over cooked, but my dad said that it was cooked perfectly. Appetizer: I have to say, the spinach dip appetizer was incredible. I will not be able to come back without ordering this again. I LOVE Bubba's 33 food! I always leave satisfied with my meal and I praise my experience to my friends. I always go around different locations in the valley with different friends and they also enjoy the place. The place is American base and has quirks to the restaurants, which is a nice touch. The food is delicious and packed with flavor. The only recommendation I have is to up the service. Our server was not attentive, I had to ask the hostess to grab our server since there were some items missing in our meal. Overall, I love the food and I always leave a good experience. We're in Arizona, we're jet lagged and hungry. We decide to give Bubba's 33 another chance, but this time take out since it's walking distance from our hotel. The Meat lovers pizza was predominantly pepperonis, with hardly any other meat, and extremely dry with minimal sauce. The pepperoni and pineapple pizza was just sad with a few pineapples and DRY..... it's like the sauce was only near the crust and nowhere else. The order of hot wings was okay, but not hot whatsoever. The burgers weren't bad, that was the only food people enjoyed. The consistency here is erratic, Dine at your own risk. read more

Every time I go, there are 5-8 high school aged female employees standing at the reception desk laughing, joking, talking loudly and acting very juvenile and unprofessional. After their gameplaying, I was able to ask for a table. Although plenty of available tables, we were asked to wait nearly 10 mins for dirty table to be cleaned? Seemes weird, as tables were already available. Probably trying to balance waiters workloads. Food was fantastic, waitress was good, although somewhat unorganized and meals were missing portions...... Our grandson is a student at ASU and we take him to lunch or dinner at places of his choice, but he hadn't heard of this place and was willing to try it. We had the combo appetizer that was really good. Our grandson and my husband each had a small pizza, both were really good and enough to take some home for later. Fantastic seasoned fries, I got a side of bbq sauce before I tried them. They are so perfectly seasoned and fried I didn't use the sauce, but it was good bbq sauce. I had the shroomburger. Meat was seasoned well, I think it's the pepper cooked in the juices on the grill that really made it pop. Husband had the Stromboli, and he raved about how good the sauce was, poor thing didn't stand a chance. I had a Bloody Mary, it was ok, I added a bunch of lemon quarters and it perked up. Service was good, manager was walking the room asking how everything was. Lots of TVs, nice variety of sports, BUT most importantly 2 TVs had the chive so you aren't forced to watch men on mute talk about sports with no captioning. 6/14/25: Short version - plenty of parking, a sister restaurant to Texas Roadhouse, TVs galore, smiling staff abounds, and good food. Definitely worth a revisit. Long version - Stopped in this particular Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. There were quite a few people already waiting & we were told the wait would be about 15 minutes. Thought it was odd considering I saw quite a few open tables on the one side, but then maybe they were reserved. Regardless, our wait was really only about 5 minutes. The restaurant is divided into the bar eating area & the family eating area. TVs were plastered all over the walls, the family side had some funny & cute metal sculptures all over the place, with a large wall decoration made out of what looked like all beer cans, in the shape of a 33. Our server, Shomari, was fantastic. He knew the menu well, he told us about upcharges (traditional bone-in wings were an extra $2), he was very polite & friendly. It was not a loud lunch crowd on the bar side so we could hear Shomari speak clearly when he repeated our meal order to ensure it was accurate. He was extremely attentive despite the lunch crowd, never letting my sister's lemonade go empty. When I told him I didn't need more sweet tea at the moment, he brought me over some water instead -- that shows a server who knows his stuff, well thought out action. The appetizer platter was pretty hefty w/ food. The teriyaki glaze on the wings was delicious; the pickles, despite being thin, were crisply fried, as were the crooked cheese sticks. They were not dripping with grease, either. My only critique with them would be to portion out the pickles & cheese better - less pickles, with a couple more cheese sticks. My sister's 12 oz ribeye looked to be a bit thin, but it was extremely juicy; she said the broccoli had some seasoning on it that was very good which she enjoyed; and the garlic mashed potatoes, with gravy & bacon bits, I tasted & were delicious. My wild shroomin' burger was also tasty & well seasoned. After Shomari told me the tater tots were seasoned well, I can confirm he knows his stuff -- they were very well seasoned (no ketchup needed!), and the pickle spear was crispy. As I was trying to gracefully leave the booth w/ our bag of leftovers w/o twisting an ankle (you had to step down from it), another server was standing close by & asked if I needed help. She laughed when I told her no, I just didn't want to fall on my face. She was also very friendly & chatted us up for a few seconds, telling us to have a great day. Was excited to try the tempe bubba33 since we had a great experience at the peoria location in 2018. Visited tempe location 5/13/25 but was average , subpar and blah. Staff was friendly, but would disappear alot and then OVERLY check on you. Almost uncomfortably so. My wife ordered a mango iced tea and it was just overly sweet. They replaced, but was still super sweet. 3rd time was a charm but they kept asking us about it like 3 or 4 more times. The burger was average. Mine was a bit underdone than i asked for. Dry meat, bland small size and luke warm almost cold. Also Meager portion of fries. Not terrible but left hungry and for the price could have got way better elsewhere. Our group ordered a mix of items: wings (which are baked not fried), a shrimp po' boy, a pepperoni pizza, and a burger. The overall consensus was that the food was good, but nothing memorable. Everything felt like it needed a bit more seasoning and, honestly, a little more personality. Nothing really wowed the taste buds. That being said, the atmosphere was lively and energetic, the service was solid, and the menu clearly caters to a more basic, crowd-pleasing palate.
