First time trying Pita Jungle. We arrived at about 7pm on a Saturday. Parking was surprisingly easy, as I have had challenges in this location previously. The restaurant was busy, near capacity and we were greeted after a short delay and seated within a couple minutes. We were seated near the windows. The high ceiling provided a very open and comfortable atmosphere. We ordered three entrees, a Mushroom Burger with cilantro garlic fries, a Gyro and the Wood-fired Salmon Salad. We all enjoyed our food, my friend enjoyed her Gyro, meat was flavorful. My other friend raved about the fries, really enjoying the cilantro compliment. I was very happy with my salmon salad, most importantly salmon was cooked as I requested, medium rare and the lemon vinaigrette was fabulous. We look forward to returning! As a newcomer, this place offers a wonderful blend of comfort and ambiance. To start, we tried the Caramelized Cauliflower with Tahini. I had heard great things about it, and they were absolutely right. It was served nice and warm, featuring a cauliflower that was both tender and crispy. The garlic-cilantro tahini sauce was generously included in the dish. For our main courses, we ordered the Falafel Pita and the Chipotle Black Bean Burger, accompanied by French fries. Everything was incredibly delicious. The service was outstanding! The atmosphere was fantastic! The food was top-notch! I love this restaurant so much I went there twice this week. Lavash Schwarma for happy hour and Salmon for dinner. Both are great options and enough for 2 meals. Others on my group had the Greek salad with chicken and the roasted chicken dinner on mashed potatoes and stewed tomatoes. Had such an awesome experience here!! I came with a bigger group to have a birthday dinner here and the server was incredibly attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious and the menu is huge - it was the perfect place to come with my friends who have several different types of dietary preferences (dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, etc.). Everyone was super happy with their meal and their dessert, and Pita Jungle has solidified themselves in my mind as the best spot for bigger parties! If you are coming with a party, just know they don't split checks more than 8 ways (which is actually a pretty generous number of ways) - they let me know beforehand when I made the reservation so it was totally fine. read more

Tried to catch happy hour for food, but just missed it. Good news...happy hour drinks were still on. The Botanist Marrini was excellent. Very refreshing and very subtle Gin. I love a good elderflower liquer drink and this one was made perfectly. I ordered the Wood-Fired Mediterranean Chicken Baguette off the seasonal menu. This was so garlicky and I absolutely loved every bite. Garlic toum is so powerful it makes the whole sandwich. I hope to return before the seasonal menu changes or hopefully they add it to the main menu. Service was great. Stopped in for dinner Friday night. Ordered the chicken platter with cauliflower rice and an ice tea. Matt was my server. I am a regular here and Matt always takes good care of me. The staff here is alway friendly and always greet you with a smile. The food is always delicious. It was fairly busy but Robert the manager took time to stop by my table and chat a bit. The decor is always interesting. They have bicycles hanging from the ceiling and the artwork changes regularly. It's a big facility and can accommodate large or small groups. There is also a large outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this place. You can't go wrong! read more

I want to start by saying, I always receive really good food and service from this location. And it is always very clean and well kept. Respectfully, my only feedback for this location is that pita chips should always be made fresh to order. I patronize both Tempe ASU and Chandler locations and never have to ask for fresh pita chips. However, at this location, it is as if I have to fight for them every time. This last order(3rd time), I came in restaurant and ordered to-go. I got home and the chips were so hard I almost could not bite through it. I called back and asked for fresh pita chips, and was met with "that is usually how they are served," to which I replied that I was asking for fresh chips to be made since I was going to have to drive back over there and have them replaced. In a rush to catch my flight, I accidentally placed my order at the wrong Pita Jungle! I showed up in Ahwatukee and quickly realized my mistake but the team there jumped in right away and fixed me up with a Mediterranean Salad so I could stay on schedule and make it to the Phoenix airport. When I walked in, the hostess asked, "Picking up?" and, after I said I was dining in, silently led me to a table without any greeting or welcome. After waiting for a while, I had to walk to the bar to ask for my check. Only then did my server approach me. Service was great. Came here at 1 for a late lunch and got right in. Split the red pepper hummus and regular hummus and added cucumbers with the pita. We split the spicy chicken wrap, and there was no way I could've eaten the whole thing. My son and I went Christmas shopping and chose to have dinner at Pita Jungle. As usual, the food was fresh and delicious. My son and I both opted to order from their specialty menu featuring their Seasonal Kitchen Crafts. My son ordered the lavash pizza, falafel skinny wrap and the garlic cilantro fries while I went for the salad and the chicken tortilla soup. I absolutely love Pita Jungle! One of my favorite Mediterranean places to dine at. Their food always tastes fresh and flavorful. We usually get a combination of the falafel pita, hummus, spinach pasta salad, mozzarella tomato basil, and/or blue corn nachos. Everything was exceptional tonight except for the mozzarella tomato basil as the cheese itself was in tiny stringy pieces on top when it's usually a nice thick piece on top of a tomato and crisp. This is one of my favorite spots because it is always so consistent! The portions are amazing and the food is always cooked fresh. I had the Philly chicken pita which is my favorite. For a side I had the garlic mushrooms. These were okay but I probably wouldn't order them again. The service was excellent and I got seated quickly. The prices here are quite reasonable. There is a drink menu as well which I haven't tried yet. There is plenty of seating on the patio as well for those that would prefer to sit outside. read more

We didn't say anything until we were finished, but when I showed all the uneaten lettuce to the waitress she took the plate to show the manager. She came back with the answer: " The manager says we use a combination of Romaine and red lettuce and it's fresh.". I said that is not true and we won't be back. The manager didn't care. From Pitas, Wraps and Bowls to Shawarma, Gyros and Pita to creamy flavorful Hummus, Falafels, to Pesto Lavash, incredible Kaftah Beef, Black Beans to Portobello Mushroom Burgers and Garlic Mushrooms; Garlic & Herb Mashed Potatoes, Tabouleh; and much, much more traditional as well as innovative. Our most recent visit included an amazing rendition (as usual) Jungles take on the traditional Gyro: broiled beef and lamb, one of the best tzatzikis in the Valley, with seasonal mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, grilled pickles (a first for me, but terrific), with Greek pita although I decided to get it as a bowl with an incredible and perfectly prepared turmeric brown rice, along with some cabbage-kale super greens, in garlic, lemon juice, sumac... mouthwatering and delish. I ordered the Mediterranean Roasted Chicken (Shawarma) and the guava lemonade. My dinner was quite disappointing. The chicken in the Shawarma wasn't seasoned and really dry! Their garlic sauce had the same consistency of apple sauce, which threw me for a loop. The pita bread wasn't great either. The meal was definitely parked with veggies with not enough meat. Their lemonade was really tart, but they couldn't even taste the guava. My serve was great, the only saving grace of my dining experience. I normally don't write this harsh of a review, but my meal left much to be desired. I hope the other menu items are better. read more
