While I'm not vegan, I stopped by on a weekday for lunch with coworkers (some who are vegetarian for religious purposes). We chose this restaurant to accommodate them for once, as usually they accommodate us. I was impressed by the extensive menu. I've never been to a vegan restaurant before, but it had quite the breadth. I ordered the cheeseburger, comprised of a plant based patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and housemade mayo served on brioche bun with a choice of fries or side salad. As they ran out of regular fries, I opted for sweet potato fries. The portions were a lot smaller than I'd expect for the price. Especially since my meal was $20 and I didn't leave feeling full (when usually I'm someone who always has to take at least some food home). Also, I was charged an additional fee for the sweet potato fries upgrade despite the lack of availability of normal fries to accompany my $16 burger. Perhaps I'm griping on subjective matters such as entitlement to certain quantities of food at restaurants, but our server took our orders without writing anything down and messed up or forgot almost all of them. I asked for garlic aoli instead of mayo for my cheeseburger. My coworker asked for a cheeseburger but got a chicken fried steak. My other coworker asked for a cheeseburger without any vegetables but all of them were on his burger or on the side. Another 2 coworker's orders were almost messed up, but our server came back to double check. Usually I'm not someone who cares about service, but our waiter messed up almost all of our orders and didn't even try to write things down. It wasn't even busy at this time. Overall disappointed in my experience here vegan food or not. I see other reviews here raving about the food and breadth of the menu, but I was left unimpressed. read more

My friend was visiting from the Midwest and she is a vegan. Though my family and I are not we have wanted to try this place out and let's just say we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The vegan sushi roll was my favorite. The buffalo cauliflower was also pretty tasty. My husbands " chicken " sandwich was very flavorful and how can you go wrong with fries. My friend got the " chicken fried steak " and it looked really good. I ordered the macaroni and " cheese " with edamame and it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It was the only thing we didn't like. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant had live music and he was a very nice addition to our evening. The waitress gave us two menus -- one was the regular and I was very excited to see a sushi menu. I love unique vegan sushi and it did not disappoint!! The mango avocado roll caught my eye right away -- so we ordered that roll, the buffalo cauliflower and the cheesy garlic bread -- my friend really wanted the cheese garlic bread because she can never eat anything like this in another restaurant because of her dairy allergy. We also ordered a bottle of sav blanc -- it was good but maybe a little cheap, I had a headache the next day...who knows if it was the wine? Anyway, we ordered two other rolls the asparagus crunch roll and the philly roll. The asparagus roll was amazing!! The philly roll was kind of eh -- it was good but just not very flavorful. Since it was busy in there it was kind of slow for each item to come out but I was catching up with friends so I wasn't too bothered. Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night around 6pm and it was pretty empty. Our waiter was really friendly and checked on us throughout our meal. I ordered the buffalo chicken tofu sandwhich, and it was really good! I'd order it again. It was spicy, though! We got to sit right next to the window which was a nice view. The service was good, 2 servers for a Saturday evening but the place isn't that big. We ordered several smaller items; mango habanero cauliflower, Cesar salad, and a crunchy tofu roll. We were warned that the mango habanero cauliflower was really "spicy", but ended up tasting like sweet chili. Not an ounce of heat. The breading looked tasty, but the cauliflower underneath was next to raw. The menu mentioned the dish was served with carrots/celery, I wasn't not expecting them to be shaved pieces as a garnish. The cesar salad was fresh but missing flavor for sure. The crunchy tofu roll was really good. Pricing was expensive given the portion sizes. There are definitely better spots in the valley that have either all vegan or a vegan menu. read more

It was an immediate disappointment when I opened the box and found it was DIY. I understand they can get soggy in transport, but sautéed chips in salsa make the chilaquiles. Well expecting these to resemble any type of chilaquiles was my first mistake when you see all that this place serves, it's not a Mexican joint. The sauce lacked any type of flavor as did the tofu scramble and it only had about five beans in it. The sour cream was more like a mayo. The biscuits and gravy looked like a joke. We come here at least twice a month and it's always great. The servers are nice and the chef is really good and he often pops out to visit tables on quieter evenings. I love the buffalo sandwich and my husband almost always gets the supreme flatbread.
