Ravens View is an absolute gem. The desert views are stunning and the patio is the perfect place to relax and take it all in. The atmosphere is laid-back yet elevated, making it an ideal spot to unwind. We shared the tomato and burrata stack, which was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The chicken club was also delicious and very satisfying. We also did a white wine flight, and every pour was super tasty and well-curated. Our server was attentive and did a good job making sure we had what we needed, though the interaction felt a bit reserved and not especially warm. Had a wonderful lunch today at Raven's View. We stared off with the ricotta dip which was amazing. I had the Thai salad added chicken, it was so good. My friend had the Cobb salad, she loved that as well. Maria our server was great, so attentive. Both of the servers worked so well together, like a true team. What a cute space with some amazing views! This space is quite small and intimate so I would highly suggest making a reservation. We didn't realize that they offer happy hour everyday 3pm-6pm and took advantage of that! We went on a Saturday around 4:30 and dined on the outdoor patio. Our server, Caris, was attentive and amazing. She recommended the bottle and board special which was beautifully served and included house wine or sangria, we opted for the blushing sangria which was tasty! I also enjoyed the Desert Daze which was delicious. It tasted like juice lol. We finished it off with a lemon merengue pie. I was in town visiting a friend for the weekend and she recommended Ravens View for their awesome happy hour. We went around 4:30 pm and there were plenty of tables available. We had a fantastic time at Ravens View. I wish we would have eaten in the patio though. The inside was fine but obviously we didn't get the views. Which in the high desert in the evening would have been beautiful. The food was pretty good. I don't think we had anything that was to die for but we really enjoyed our meal. We had the queso to start and it was delicious but we both wished it was a little spicier, hubby had the Panino and enjoyed it and I enjoyed the beefcake burratta salad (capresé salad) it was fresh a delicious although I would have liked it with a little more balsamic. Our server was very sweet and quick to respond. Overall it was a great date night and I've already mentioned it to my mom that her and her golf group would enjoy it as well after a round. What a cool place to happen upon. Derek Y. and myself had just finished a hike to Camp Creek Falls nearby. We were leaving the cave creek area and drove by what looked like a well lit home in the middle of the desert. Turns out it was Raven's View wine bar. Just from the look of it from the road I was pumped to check it out. It's a small place that is comfortable and well decorated. They have wine, beer, and cocktails on the menu. They also have food. We already had dinner plans so we decided to try an appetizer, we had the tuna tartar. It was good, a little too much of the sauce made it overly salty, however the fish tasted fresh. The bartender was friendly and service was quick. It seems like a regular place for people in the cave creek area, as the bartender knew many of the people there. Very nice ambiance and wine selection. I did notice they don't have any local wines from AZ, many of them are coming from Napa and surrounding wine areas. However, I love California wine so that was fine by me. Great wine choices. I had a nice Pinot Noir from a winery in the Russian River area. That area has excellent wineries and breweries. Overall, nice time and I'll definitely go back next time I'm out that way. read more

Raven's View is in a lovely property, and the vibe and ambiance was great. We had dinner there on Friday night, music playing and a cool atmosphere. The food we ordered was disappointing, tasteless. The description of the roast beef dip sandwich was amazing. The actual sandwich was without taste, very little or none of the ingredients described in the menu and the French dip au jus, was like water. My granddaughter's brie grilled cheese was completely flat. She tried dipping it in salad dressing to make it edible. Nope. Perhaps we ordered wrong, but we were really disappointed with our meal. read more

I was recommended this place when visiting Scottsdale, and I'm so glad we found it! The view here is spectacular being up in the mountains - we even saw some coyotes when we visited. I came here twice during my time in AZ, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times this place was packed! When we came around lunch time we lucked out being able to snag an edge booth. The garage doors were open so we got some nice open air and bright views. We stuck to just ordering drinks since we had come from lunch - I got the Lucky rock SV, which was recommended by our waitress when I asked for a sweeter white. I loved it! It wasn't overly sweet, but definitely wan't dry and bitter so I loved it. My boyfriend ordered the red house sangria and thought it was delicious - we even tried to see if we could bring a bottle back with us, but they don't sell it outside of just glasses. I came back the next night with my boyfriend's mom and grandma for a little GNO, and I loved the cozy night vibe. It was raining, so the garage doors were pulled down. We came just in time for HH, so we ordered the bottle & board special ($28 for a bottle of wine and charcuterie board), queso and margharita flatbread - all was great! The bottle and board special is great for any night out. The queso was creamy and rich, and I loved that it also came with carrot sticks. A friend brought me here after our amazing hike at Tom's Thumb. What a great way to end the day. It's a small intimate casual place with great service, delicious beer and wine and amazing apps/ food! We had reservations set for 5:15 for dinner, as soon as we were seated another hostess came over and told us that we needed to be gone by 6:15 because there is a 6:15 reservation. The appetizers and drinks were delicious, but we were rushed the entire time. We could not relax or enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. When it came close to 615 l noticed hostesses staring at us and just waiting for us to leave and as soon as we got up they were one step behind us clearing the table already, and getting it ready for the next party, We didn't even get to enjoy dinner. We just had appetizers. What upset us the most is when we arrived, there were seated tables and they were not rushed or hurried out at all. They were still there when we were told that we have to leave because of a next reservation. I was a little late due to a prior commitment but nonetheless I was excited to see what the menu had to offer. I ordered the beefsteak tomato & burrata stack with prosciutto and the crab cakes, both were divine. The crab cakes had the perfect amount of crab, bread crumbs and lemon. My tummy was very happy. I ordered a bottle of the Jordan cab from Sonoma (I'm a Cali girl) everything was nice, except I made a mistake on the wine, it was delicious but I thought it was a different price (it's probably time for me to explore the idea that I need glasses lol) Anywho everything was lovely. I thought the service was ok, nothing spectacular. However, my friend told me that they got there about 15 mins before happy hour was ordered. They tried to order but the waitress was dismissive and didn't offer the menu as if it were too late. She only raddled off a few things, they asked for the menu anyway and ordered. I am not sure what that was about. She seemed ok when she served me. But, I have lived long enough to know that some things will never change, at least in this crooked system. I will still to back. I blame the ownership. This place has almost everything: a great location, much better food now than in the past (we've been coming here for years), and a fine selection of drinks. However, the current service is absolutely atrocious. I'm sorry, but "it's hard to hire" doesn't cut it. There are some service basics that need to be taught, like "smile, communicate, make the guests feel welcome, and pay some level of attention to their needs." What you get here is the opposite: surly staff with unfriendly attitudes who make you feel like you're barging in on their personal space. OWNERSHIP: Do better! Teach your folks how to behave properly. I don't expect Four Seasons service, but please at least strive to do better than Denny's for goodness sake's! read more
