The bartender was working her ass off as the ONLY employee on the Monday night of the National Championship Football game. The ONLY employee at a sports bar. The owner was just sitting by the sidelines watching and appearing to make inappropriate comments. He wasn't helping at all. I over tipped for my one beer and left. I'd gladly give her my money, but not this establishment. I give her 5 stars for sticking with it and working like hell. I give the bar and the owner a zero. One worker for the NCAA Final. First time in! First impression was how dark, small, and mahogany-hell it was I got over that though, the quesadillas were amazing! It was packed with a bunch of guys who had been golfing and the manager/owner was working the room and the bartender was working her butt off. Great little neighborhood place! read more

Delish! Don't pass up this neighborhood gem. We have been here several times now and all good. It's exactly what you expect from a small independent business. We try something different each time and it's always great. The service is good but not always super fast which is okay, too. They pour a good drink and always friendly. They crowd is also usually really friendly. We have been there weekdays, nights and weekends. Very consistent. The pork sliders were AWESOME and easy to share. The crab dip is a favorite. Bar Rescue should visit here! Literally one block from my house so wife and I thought what the heck let's give it a try? From the wait staff to the food ,to the drunks at the bar stumbling it was horrible! All the food tasted the same , like grease!!!!couldn't get our drinks refilled at all. Waitresses were too busy flirting with the neighborhood drunk patrons. Don't go here until the owner that walks around staring at the ladies (including my wife) can revive this place . read more

my friend and I walked into T-birds Saturday night around 9 pm and sat at the bar. there was approx 15 people in the bar who we could tell were regulars. as we were waiting for service a few people walked in and the bartender served them. At this point we still have not been acknowledged. so we left. I could not believe how we were treated! never again. read more

Fantastic food, fair prices and several good wine choices buy the bottle and glass, several microbrews and the staff are happy to see you, smile and seem genuinely glad to be there. Looking forward to my next visit. Don't be fooled by the street appeal. Inside its classy and intimate. Not at all what I was expecting when I walked in. Only seats about 70 maximum. A hidden gem that feels like a welcoming neighborhood gathering place with a great staff, hands on owner and patrons. The menu has a great variety and have found the beer selection, cocktails and food to be much better than anything nearby. The excecution is a bit hit and miss...but they are still growing. I'm going to give this a 4 star rating....just not to mess with the locals who rate this place highly, and the owner. The gal behind the bar was nice enuf, but was distracted the whole time we were there by a gentleman who was sitting on the stool closest to the register. She made converastion with him every time she went down there to make a drink or ring something into the register. Food was average at best. Ordered a burger very rare. Was never told that they don't cook them that way....mine ended up medium well as very tasteless. My wife's wrap was pretty good. Took quite a while to cash out...the bartender was very scattered in her work, refill a drink, take an order refill another drink get food from the kitchen and finally ring in the order she took 5 minutes ago. Very frustrating to watch...but hey....this is a neighborhood joint. Lots of folks seem to love the place, we just aren't 2 of them. read more

One of the best burgers I've had in the area! What a surprise hit. They had kitchen issues the night we came and were apologetic and still prompt. With kitchen issues we were still served top notch food?! Imagine how good they'd be normally. I'm a local and will definitely be going back. Some friends told us about this place so we thought we'd check it out. Always looking for a cool vibe place to hang out and have a drink. Yes the vibe and atmosphere is nice. Smaller side which is nice too. I will start off with it was absolutely freezing in there! Granted we are in AZ but at 8pm at night I don't expect to have to wear a heavy leather jacket while I'm eating...yes it was that cold! Took 15 minutes to get our drinks after she took the order....only 2 of us remember and the place is NOT big. So after she took our orders went back behind the bar proceeded to refill everyone's drinks at the bar and converse then decided to get ours. We ordered food which we were heard was so-so. Husband got the cajun dry-rub wings which one would think would be somewhat spicy with flavor being called 'cajun dry rub'. Nope, not even close. Literally tasted faintly like a Lays bbq chip seasoning. Also tasted like they cooked the wings then tossed them in the dry rub then tossed on a plate. The dry rub was not cooked onto the wings at all. So when we asked for a side of med wing sauce she proceeded to somewhat argue with us that "well you ordered the dry rub, that's why there is no sauce." Yea we know this, but there is zero flavor so that's why I'm hoping the sauce has some flavor to choke down these wings. Overall, not impressed. However, I understand that they've only been open for a couple months and sometimes it takes getting some kinks worked out. I hope they do improve the food as it is a cool little place and the drinks were good and average pricing too. But if you are going to work in a customer service facing job, then you really should have some customer service skills. read more
