I've been here countless times. In fact, it's a local favorite and somewhere I come often because they're great for large groups (patio is 10/10!) and they are super supportive of teachers. Stopped in for lunch in early July and outside of the kind servers, nothing was good. We ordered pulled pork nachos and chicken fajitas, two items that are hard to screw up - both of which came recommended by the server. The fajitas were enough for a kids meal (small portion) and the chicken tasted funky. The nachos were good sized, but unlike most joints, everything, and I mean everything, other than the chips and cheese came with a cost. Beans, salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese - all extra. The pulled pork was an expected up charge, but it tasted like it was a week old. You know that taste, like it was left over or cooked well before being served - days before. Just terrible food overall! This might be a good place to grab a drink or watch a game, but leave your appetite at home or eat at your own risk. We will never go back! read more

Backyards "Backyards" is the place where NY Jets Football Fans meet on game days. They have a patio, a full bar, and about ten TVs. The TVs are fully visible from the floor. The patio has about five TVs suspended from above. It's a good place to eat if you have been to Ody Sea, Butterfly Wonderland, or Medieval Times. The food is so good, I've never heard complaints about it. I'd recommend the following four, but don't limit yourself to them. Chipotle Ranch Chicken Sandwich, Bomb Tacos, Grilled Chicken Pita. The coffee is excellent too. They are very accommodating, and during the half-time crunch, the service can be a little slow. They are, however, very accommodating. Backyards can cater. It has done so while we were there. There is plenty of room. Recommended items would be the Chipotle Ranch Chicken Sandwich, Bomb Tacos, and the Grilled Chicken Pita. It is always spotless. It's so hard to find a sports bar with a vegetarian option that isn't just mozzarella sticks. The Imposter burger was delicious. The fries were seasoned well. It's nice to be able to sit outside and watch the game without the sun pounding down on you. Service was great! This place has been an awesome venue to kick back at and relax with my coworkers after work, but tonight the owner had a full blown crash out towards one of his employees. Straight up cussing this poor girl out. It was unacceptable behavior. Some of us decided to stand up for her and when we did we were also yelled and cussed at. The remaining 20 or so minutes I was there was spent awkwardly finishing my meal while the owner glared at me, and when he wasn't glaring he was drinking and putting his head in his hands... It's such a shame because this place has been such a cool place to go to but I won't be returning after all of that. Update 4/1/26 - I decided to give it another shot tonight because the owner was never there prior to the incident, but it looks like I was 86'd for leaving a bad review. Fine, I get that, but...no apology, no kind of concession offered...didn't care whatsoever about anything other than the bad review. Oh well. Love the concept of this place. Some friends and I came here on a Monday for their happy hour menu. Being that it was a Monday, it was not super busy or loud, but I can imagine the atmosphere would be different on a weekend or game day. They have large TV screens in the middle and around the restaurant displaying several games. The restaurant is open with plenty of seating. There were a few games in the corner of the restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. On this visit I went ahead and ordered their cheeseburger with no bun, fries and their house wine. The food was good and came out pretty fast. read more

EXTREMELY RUDE MANAGEMENT. I've been ordering here for well over a year. I've ORDERED 25 MEALS FROM HERE BUT NEVER AGAIN. The food is amazing. I ordered lunch today via GrubHub, and the food was delivered to the wrong address. No problem; I contacted GrubHub, who sent out a "replacement" order (which means the same order). The second order did arrive but was missing the side of "fresh fruit." I called the Restaurant, and the "man" who answered admitted to forgetting the fruit. He said, "oh that was me, I'm sorry," when I told him that this has happened there more than once he immediately got defensive and started to raise his voice saying. They DO NOT habitually forget items and started to get defensive. I actually asked him if was calling me a liar as he kept raising his voice, louder and louder and more out of control 5-2-25, They forgot the fruit 4-26-25, They forgot the Small Reg. tots That's 2 items in just a week. But you guys never do this right? This same "man" actually called me at home to continue arguing with me to tell me, NOW, he actually didn't forget the fruit, that it was my fault because I didn't order any. Really, I would give it 3.5 stars. It was ok, but expensive for what it was. One of the orders was messed up as I ordered onion rings; we didn't receive something we did order, but we weren't charged, and the waitress never asked for a refill on my daughter's soft drink. We had come here after hiking to get lunch with the dogs in tow. The moment we walked up, a man came up and said the patio was full but we could sit on the couches. We settled are group and waited awhile for someone to come over. The bar was pretty full outside and it seemed only a bartender and one runner were working so everything was pretty delayed. The staff seemed pretty over it which I am assuming is due to being busy but it didn't really make our group feel welcomed. We almost left before ordering but decided to stay since we were so hungry. In Arizona for thanksgiving to see family and my love, he and I drove here which is a very convenient bar location. We went around 1:30pm on Friday and there was only one other couple here so we got good attention from the bartender. He ordered the mini chimichanga and I wasn't hungry so I just ordered the whiskey cocktail on the specials menu with an extra shot of bourbon. Now he loved the chimichanga and said it was the perfect portion, I would say it's like a tapas portion. As for my drink, it wasn't very strong and I was looking for VERY strong But it did taste good. I drank it down in two sips then I ordered a shot of jack Daniel's Honey and that did what I needed it to do. Anyway it was just a quick stop before we went back to the hotel. Another great visit! Backyards still had the very best spinach dip ever!! We came to enjoy the Sunday game. Surprisingly we were the only guest in the patio area, the owner came out and made sure we had the game playing on whatever TV we wanted. We happened upon this place last night on our drive home from Talking Stick. It popped up on our maps as a sports bar close by to watch March Madness. We pulled in and it looks much smaller than it is. When we walked in, the tables were all taken as was the bar. It was too hot to sit on the patio although it looked really nice and I can't wait to come back and try it! As we turned to leave and go somewhere else, the owner Eric grabbed us and told us he'd be happy to accommodate us if we were willing to wait. He showed us to some bar stools near the back against a wall to wait. Within seconds our waitress, Liz was there to greet us and seen what we needed. They could not have been nicer and Liz even suggested a great beer that is now my new favorite! Eric checked on us multiple times to see if we were ok until we were able to get a seat at the bar. The restaurant was packed with March madness fans but the staff was so amazing at making sure we were taken care of. It's a great neighborhood bar and the food was great- we had pork quesadillas, but I can wait to go back and try more. Really great staff and great friendly fun service. This is a smallish sports bar. It has a kind of dive-y feel to it, but we really liked the food and our server was nice. Basic tables and chairs, nothing fancy. This would probably be a good place to watch a game. I had a veggie burger with tots and it exceeded my expectations. A group of us wanted to try a new bar for drinks and food prior to glow golf and googled this spot. When we got in, the servers were very attentive and we got seated right away. It was Saturday evening at 6pm and it was not busy at all. We all ordered a meal and an appetizer of the pretzels. We loved that the pretzel was already cut up into pieces so it was easy to eat. There are two reasons I have given this spot a one star: 1. We had two people come to our table every 5 minutes asking if we were doing ok. Normally this would be great service for the attentiveness but it was more annoying because we were mid bites every time and it was too much. I guess maybe that had to since it wasn't busy. It made it feel like they wanted us out of there faster. 2. I got the garlic Parmesan chicken wings and it was extremely greasy.
