I always have a great time at this place. I have never had anything I didn't like. I got the prime rib and cheddar croissant it was really great! The wings were good too. I love the sangria. Andrew is a amazing love everything he makes. Great service.

My wife and I just moved into the Troon North area, and decided to stop by "the club" for dinner. They were very busy. I had made a reservation for a table indoors, as it was chilly out, but we nonetheless waited about 45 minutes to be seated. That was OK, we grabbed a glass of wine from the bar and sat in the club chairs near the entrance to the building. There was a wedding going on and we enjoyed seeing the wedding party doing their behind the scenes stuff. The hostess was very friendly and apologized for the wait profusely. Once seated, service did not meet our expectations on friendliness or attentiveness. Our server was slow to make her first stop at our table, and visited infrequently. That said, once we had placed orders, runners had the food out promptly. We started with the Deviled Eggs of the Moment which were tasty, and I had the Angus Beef sliders which were ample and had good flavor. My wife had the prime rib special, and asked for it rare. It was brought out medium / medium well by a runner. She waited several minutes for the server to return and when she mentioned the issue, was met with obvious disdain by the server. The server very reluctantly took the dish back to the kitchen and a couple of minutes later a runner came out with a fresh cut and announced that this was "as rare as it's going to get". I was disappointed with this first experience, and hope I'll be able to convince my wife to return. A better attitude from the server along with better handling of the prime rib request would have been appreciated.

Solid 4 star experience! Lunch with a beautiful peaceful view. Got a table for 4 with a golf course view. Pretty crowded for a Tuesday afternoon. The service was a little slow but the server was polite and friendly. So happy to see the menu was clearly labeled with gluten free choices. There were 4-5 gluten free items to pick from. I got the gluten free cactus bob salad and my friend got the sunset ahi tuna sliders. Nothing special about my salad but seeing the gluten free label made me feel better. The tomatoes tasted a little soggy and old but other than that is was good. My friend said her slider was delicious. The gluten food actually looked really good. My salad was $13. Food probably 3 1/2-4 stars View 5 stars Nice place for lunch in North Scottsdale. I will be back!

Place is a gem to eat and enjoy the awesome view. Had a burger and cobb salad. Both were top notch! Will definitely bring more people back here to impress for sure.

This place was awesome! Came here for lunch and the service was great. Sat along the window with a view of the golf course. The prices were not bad at all and definitely recommend this restaurant. The burger was cooked to perfection. The chips and salsa/guac were also amazing!

I come here often for breakfast, which is always good. They're open early and are usually pretty quiet since most of their early am crowd are headed to the links. But if it's Tuesday I'm usually here with my friends and neighbors enjoying great margaritas and they're changing menu of $2.50 tacos! Beautiful views and always very friendly service.

We came here for dinner and, let's be honest, to watch the World Series. (And no, I'm still not…read morehappy the Dodgers won, but that's a rant for another review. LOL.) We usually dine inside the main restaurant, which is great too, but this spot is right off the course with tons of tables and TVs everywhere, perfect for sports, snacks, and emotional support during extra innings. The staff managed to seat all eight of us, which already felt like a small miracle. We started ordering drinks and appetizers, and I was starving. Like, the kind of starving where my daughter and I both turn into tiny gremlins who should not be approached without caution. If you've ever been within six feet of me when I'm hangry, you know your best move is to evacuate the area immediately. So I asked for bread before the dark side fully took over. They brought rolls that were... interesting. Sweet? Savory? Peppery? Honestly, I still don't know what was happening on top of them, but I ate them anyway because survival mode was fully activated. For entrées, I ordered the chicken pot pie and my daughter got the chicken piccata. I'm still undecided whether my pot pie was genuinely amazing or if I was just ravenous, but I demolished the entire thing. and the size of that dish is not for the feint of heart. My daughter also wiped out her piccata, and she's three, so that's basically a Michelin endorsement. All in all, the food was delicious, the vibes were fun, and we had a great time, even if the World Series outcome has me emotionally damaged. 4 stars and we'll definitely be back!

Chicken picccata did not disappoint and could match any 5 star Italian restaurant. Perfect amount of capers with the tangy lemon sauce. The green beans and asparagus were grilled to perfection. The Chicken sandwich was a very generous portion but was so delicious it had to be totally consumed without asking for a doggy bag. The wine list was adequate but could have a few more choices. Our waitress was so engaging it enhanced the total evening! We will return.

The champagne dressing was a little bit more vinegar than I expected so I might try a different dressing next time, but loved the salad itself. The name really fits because there are several different seating areas, including cozy groupings with soft couches and chairs, traditional dining tables, bar seating and an outdoor patio. There is also a separate larger room that looked great for groups. It's nice enough for a fun night out or date night, but the overall feel is relaxed and casual, so you definitely don't need to dress up. We went for a girls' Happy Hour, specifically because the Wine Wall sounded like so much fun, but one of the things I really liked about The Living Room is that you absolutely don't have to be a wine drinker to enjoy it. They also have a reasonable, well rounded menu and signature drinks. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3-6 PM. The menu offers $2 off wines by the glass, draft beers, signature and well cocktails, as well as the bruschetta and flatbreads. So one person could come for wine and bruschetta, and someone else could enjoy a beer with flatbread, or have something from the regular menu. There are salads, soups, sandwiches, sushi rolls, food from the grillI, and starters. We first shared the Artichoke Spinach Dip. I feel like the dip is a portion for one, as you can see in my photo; it's in a small ramekin, but the chips are fantastic and sharable. I had the "fried rice with steak, chicken and shrimp topped with a fried egg." The "steak" was tiny little pieces, not slices, but the portion of fried rice was very generous and filling. It's a "Starter" that was a "meal" for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the food prices are. Now for the Wine Wall, because this is such a fun part of the experience! You're given a Tasting Card that works somewhat like a debit card for the Wine Wall. You tap the card at the WineStation, choose the wine you want and then select a 1 oz, 3 oz or 6 oz pour. Each wine and pour size has its own price, and every selection is added to your Tasting Card. At the end, the accumulated amount is transferred to your restaurant check as one "Wine Wall" charge. Our server was wonderful about showing us how everything worked. He walked us over to the Wine Wall, explained the system and dispensed our first glasses for us. Later, when he asked if we wanted more, my friend ordered another 3 oz Silver Oak and he brought it right to our table, so we didn't even have to get up again. If the Wine Wall is one of the main reasons for your visit, there are couches and tables right by it. You might want to choose that area if you plan on trying 1 oz. tastes of several wines. We enjoyed two excellent Cabernets from the Wine Wall: Caymus and Silver Oak. I had a 3 oz Caymus, a 3 oz Silver Oak, and my friend had a 6 oz Caymus and 3 oz Silver Oak. Our total Wine Wall charge was $83. We're already looking forward to returning for what will feel like a different experience by having white wine and sushi outdoors on a cool evening. I could definitely see The Living Room becoming an easy choice for a casual Happy Hour or dinner with friends.

I recently had the chance to play Troon North Golf Club in the Phoenix area, and let me tell you,…read moreit wasn't just a round of golf it was one of those perfect days that turns into a story you'll tell for years. A buddy of mine was down there on a business trip and decided to turn it into a full-on reunion. He covered everything, so a few of us flew in from the rainy Northwest, desperate for some sun. We landed in 60-70 degree weather, stepped onto those lush, emerald fairways, and instantly knew we couldn't miss this. I'm an average golfer at best honestly, this place sits right on the edge of my comfort zone but that's exactly what made it magic. We teed off with no one in front of us or behind us, just a nice little gap that meant even if we hacked it up, nobody was there to witness the crime. It felt straight out of a movie. My buddy pulls out a couple of Cuban cigars, and before long the whole course starts to look like it's gently swaying in the breeze. Sunglasses on, drinks flowing, we're striking ridiculous photo-op poses between shots. Some guys take golf dead seriously; we were out there for the vibes, the laughs, and the escape. And the views? Breathtaking doesn't even cover it. You're surrounded by jagged rocks and dramatic mountains that scream "Arizona desert," yet the moment you're on the fairways it feels like you've been dropped into a lush paradise. The grass is so vibrant and perfectly manicured that for a second you forget you're in the middle of the Sonoran Desert it's more like wandering through a secret green oasis tucked inside a painting. The topography keeps it honest, though: those rocky outcrops and rolling hills remind you exactly where you are, while the fairways themselves are tricky enough to keep you humble. We were having the time of our lives drinking, shenanigans, the works when we rolled up to this devious little hole where you couldn't quite see the pin. You had to shape a nice hook just to land it on the other side. By then we were pretty well lubricated and had basically quit keeping score. One of the guys lofts a ball that trickles into the bunker. I couldn't resist. While he was still hunting for it, I scooped the ball, walked it over, and dropped it straight into the cup. Then we all parked our carts behind the green like innocent spectators. He's out there scratching his head, looking absolutely lost. His buddy putts up onto the green, glances down, and suddenly yells, "Your ball's in the hole! Hole in one! I can't believe it!" The poor guy goes from confused to ecstatic in about two seconds flat jumping in the air, flinging his club, screaming like he just won the PGA Tour. The rest of us lost it. I was laughing so hard my ribs hurt for the next hour. He thought it was the greatest day of his life, and honestly, in that moment it kind of was. That prank, the cigars, the drinks, the pure ridiculous camaraderie it's the stuff that makes golf trips legendary. Troon North itself is first-class all the way: pristine fairways, top-notch equipment rentals, and a beautiful clubhouse that feels like the perfect bookend to the day. Whether you're a serious golfer chasing every challenge (and trust me, the course throws plenty at you with its clever layouts and strategic bunkers), or just a bunch of clowns showing up to blow off steam, soak in the scenery, and celebrate friendship this place delivers. It's trickier than it looks, but that's part of the fun. If you're looking to unwind, reconnect with buddies, and create memories that have you cracking up months later, Troon North is the spot. I left feeling like I'd spent the day in paradise, and I can't wait to go back.
