    Gojo Combo

Amazing food and the best people! I've come here every week for the past 6 weeks while overcoming a medical issue with my stomach. My friend recommended Gojo after I asked her for help and she said this food helps her diabetic mom too. My family comes once a week and enjoys their cultural decorations, food, and company. Who knows, maybe the company helped heal my stomach too! :) Let me tell you - the food is not only delicious, you GET SO MUCH. The photo is half of the Gojo Combo. It's also reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food. Never too spicy, always seasoned great, tender meats and veggies. We'll be back weekly even once my stomach is healed!

The norm is when something is on your table when you walk in and sit down you are not charged. When my group sat down each person had a bottle of water at their place. Before we walked out, each of us had to pay for the bottle of water that was at each person's place. There was no notice. I asked for a check while leaving. I got one but it was not itemized. The water cost about $3.00 The waiter noticed he gave the wrong dish to someone. After the patron told the waiter he had eaten from it, the waiter wanted to exchange dishes. Objections were voiced. The waiter kept saying it was OK. The other parties said it was not. Eventually the waiter acquiesced. These were not expensive dishes. Their primary ingredient is dried legumes, not lobster. There was a about a cup of the legumes in each one. There was no excuse for this. Go-Jo is place where you are deceived about what is included is not one to be trusted. Where one-half eaten bowl of split peas is imprudently exchanged for another's. It poses a danger to our health.

Downright home cooked Ethiopian food full of flavor and authenticity. The veggie dishes were soooo good...coupled with the spicy Awaze Tibs and the meat dishes... such a satisfying Ethiopian food fix. The restaurant is a no frills hole in the wall ...but the authentic meal and coffee ceremony set up is legit!

The owner and his wife are very kind! We had dinner and ordered a combination platter which was very fun. We got to try a little bit of everything and now we know our favorites for next time. He helped explain everything and didn't rush us.

We enjoyed our dinner at Gojo! The vegetarian options were all excellent. The meat options, the sauce was great however the meat texture was a bit tough to eat. Loved the decor. Service was a bit slow but very friendly staff so we didn't mind. We will be coming back!

Pretty solid, inexpensive, good-value Ethiopian food in a no-frills setting. I showed up looking for a quick lunch, and that's what I got. I ordered their veggie combo ($16 plus tax), which comes with 7 different veggie dishes and injera. The highlights were definitely the misir wot and the shiro (middle and bottom middle), with the other dishes being rather middling. Good portion, good value and pleasant service. Solid spot.

A friend and I ate here recently. We did sort of question the looks and location, however once inside we were warmly greeted. We both had the Gojo Combo and I have to say of the three Ethiopian restaurants we have tried in the valley this is the best of the three. The combo gave us a great taste of the veggie and meat options. Yum! Definitely recommend.

Food was quite good and service was good enough. The major concern was the fact that there was a mf bottle cap in our dish ! Not sanitary. I don't enjoy giving bad reviews but they need to take more precaution because trust me, this was not appetizing... On top of that, when we notified the worker, he reached with his bare hand in to grab the bottle cap and remove it, saying "sorry". Sorry for the bad review but I had to bring this to attention

Any bad review about this place is pure delusion. The food here is amazing and seasoned to perfection, every time I come here the flavor is consistent and the previous time. I've been to other Ethiopian restaurants and this one reigns superior. The service and ambiance is okay, nothing too crazy or exciting but I'm not letting that get in the way of how good the food is. Don't second guess trying this place because if you do then you're missing out on a good food experience.

Café Lalibela was closed this week and I was craving Ethiopian food so I decided to check this place out. The restaurant is a little hidden gem in the area. The family that owns the restaurant is very friendly. The interior of the restaurant is simpler than Café Lalibela but the food is just as good. The meat combo is a good way to try the different meats. I do wish the portion was slightly bigger because it was so good!

Great service! Incredible food! Food was great and portion sizes are stuffing for the price. Will definitely be my go to for Ethiopian food now!

Gojo Ethiopian food is amazing ! Quick service. Easy pick up. My sister and I have returned a few times since we tried this restaurant. So far never disappoints and the serving is huge. I would definitely return again and I recommend this place if you are a fan of ethnic food in general and Ethiopian food

I can't speak on the customer service as we never left our table and our waited just walked over and got what we needed. We were pretty stuffed from our massive meal, but we decided on sharing a cup of gelato just to satisfy our sweet tooth. I peeked inside as our table was right at a little walkway from the restaurant to the bakery. Gelato is just one of many things they serve here. They also have all your typical Italian desserts. Cakes like tiramisu, pastries like Italian flag cookies, cookies like Italian wedding cookies, cannolis of different varieties, and of course gelato. What was suggested to us if we wanted gelato was the hazelnut flavor. I was expecting a little cup for the 6 of us just to get a taste, but what he brought over was a massive serving. I don't know how many scoops it was or even how much we even paid, but we all got plenty with some even left behind. Now this gelato was life changing. Probably the best I've had in the states. I know it's gotta be way better in Italy, but I'll take what I can when I can. Think of a Ferrero Rocher but in gelato form. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a little crunch with bits of chocolate and hazelnuts. My sweet tooth was extremely satisfied after having dessert here. I have literally been thinking about that gelato since I left Phoenix. Luckily this company has locations in Texas so I will definitely be seeking out this gelato soon.

We've worked our way through what feels like almost the entire dessert case over the years, and I can honestly say I've yet to find something I didn't love. Every pastry is beautifully crafted, incredibly fresh, and tastes like it was made with so much care. This visit was all about the cannoli, and let me just say... craving officially satisfied! The shell had that perfect crisp snap, while the filling was silky, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. It was everything I had been dreaming about and then some. Walking into The Sicilian Baker always feels like stepping into a little slice of Italy. Between the gorgeous display of desserts and the irresistible aroma of fresh pastries, it's nearly impossible to leave with just one treat (don't say I didn't warn you! ). Whether you're stopping in for a post-dinner dessert, celebrating something special, or simply giving in to a sweet tooth like I did, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Every dessert we've tried has been phenomenal, and this cannoli was another delicious reminder of why we keep coming back. Sweet craving? Check. Happiness? Double check.

It's smooth, rich without being too heavy, and the flavor actually develops as you eat it instead of just being one-note sweet. You can tell they take this part seriously. Leave it outside the fridge for an hour and watch that cheesecake melt on your tongue crystals (if you have the patience for that) Their rotating monthly flavors keeps things interesting, and you're not just stuck with the same lineup every time. Out of what I tried, the banana pudding one was easily a standout--super nostalgic, creamy, and just done right without being overly sweet. The coconut one was also up there, more subtle but still really clean and flavorful. Love me some coconut! They also have a punch card system--buy 9 slices, get the 10th free--which is a nice touch. It lowkey turns into a mission because once you've tried one flavor, you kinda want to work your way through all of them anyway. Now...the downside. The customer service just isn't great. It's not aggressive or anything, just noticeably lacking. There's not much warmth or engagement--it feels pretty transactional. For a place that clearly puts effort into their product, you'd expect at least a baseline level of hospitality, and it's just not really there. So overall, if you're going to Banhams, go for the cheesecake. The rotating flavors keep it fresh, the quality is legit, and it's definitely worth trying. Just don't expect much from the service side, and you'll enjoy it a lot more.

After reading reviews and considering our options, we were really looking forward to this experience. When we arrived, we were excited by the variety of flavors and the over-the-top presentation. Unfortunately, once we started looking more closely at the products, we became concerned. The ice cream in the freezer appeared extremely soft and partially melted, and we noticed significant condensation around the cookie dough/batter. It did not give the impression that the products were being properly maintained or stored. The milkshakes certainly LOOK impressive, but once we actually tasted them, the quality was very disappointing. The ice cream did not have the creamy consistency or quality I would expect for the price. It tasted like inexpensive, low-quality ice cream, and the whipped cream was also warm rather than cold and fresh. At that point, it felt like we were paying primarily for the presentation, jar, toppings, and "wow factor" rather than quality ice cream. I also noticed packaged items such as Chips Ahoy cookies, brownies, and sugar cookies being used as toppings, with some of the original store packaging visible. There is nothing inherently wrong with using packaged products, but when the actual ice cream isn't high quality, it becomes difficult to justify the price. The most concerning part of our visit, however, was what happened with an employee. One employee arrived wearing what appeared to be pajamas and had a kitten/cat on her shoulder. She took the cat toward the back and later was behind/near the register preparing drinks while she and another employee were interacting with the cat around the food and snack area. Seeing an animal being handled in an area where food and food-service items were being prepared was extremely concerning. As a customer, I should not have to wonder whether pet hair or dander could be getting near food. For anyone with a cat allergy, this could be especially concerning. Once I saw this, I stopped eating my milkshake altogether. I sincerely hope the owners or management take this review seriously. The staff need proper training, and the food-storage, cleanliness, and food-handling practices should be carefully evaluated. A fun atmosphere and impressive presentation can only go so far. Quality, cleanliness, and proper food handling should always come first. We went there expecting a memorable dessert experience with our kids. Unfortunately, the experience was memorable for all the wrong reasons. My recommendation: save your money and look elsewhere. We spent $81 on this visit.
