This is one of my favorite postino's locations whenever I'm in the area. The food always consistently tasted great! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My favorite drink is forever the Honey Cucumber lemonade. So refreshing and is the perfect drink for Arizona weather. I always do the bruschetta board. Honestly the main reason I keep coming back to postino is because of their Bruschetta board. All the other food on the menu taste great but you can find in other restaurants. But the Board is what sets Postino apart from the others. My favorite is the burrata & tomato. The tomato is just tasted amazing, the seasoning and the juice that the tomatoes marinated in is just soo good! Then topped off with a little bit of crunch from the bacon. Next is the prosciutto and fig. The prosciutto is always consistent with the high quality meat, has a slight salty and savory taste and complimented by the light sweetness from the fig and creaminess from mascarpone. Last is the Brie and apple. I always love this one because it's the perfect slice to end the meal like a dessert. The apple is crisp and refreshing, with the creaminess from the Brie. The bar tender at the Postino (Central location) that worked during lunch time on Saturday provided a bad experience. The bar tender looked at me when I sat down at the bar and did not say anything. Then she gave me a menu and did not ask me if I need a water. In addition, she helped the only other customer sitting at the bar and asked him if he was ok and not one word to me. What an excellent location. As someone who gets overstimulated pretty easily, this restaurant is perfect because the lights aren't very bright and it's pretty low-sensory. I love Postinos, and it seems like they are popping up all over the PHX valley! This location is a bit smaller, and the parking lot is small, so if you come at prime time you may have some trouble parking. There were some spots available around 445pm on a weekday. Indoor/outdoor seating is available as well as some bar area seating. They have happy hour drink specials until 5pm on weekdays. The ambiance is intimate and dark, I also love the back wall mural of tin lunch boxes. You can also purchase wine bottles here and they offer a wine club deal too! The service was good, I believe it's a team effort so multiple people helped us out. I decided to order the select two and choose the half salad/ panini deal with the WEST COASTER on focaccia bread and GREEN GARDEN CHICKEN CHOP. Both items were delicious! Postinos will always have my heart. Went on a Saturday evening and right away found street parking. This never happens so it already started off a good night. We snagged seats at the bar which was nice , no waiting. We had a great bartender who had our drinks out and we ordered some food. I had the bruschetta board which was delicious. We had dinner there the other night and had to flag down our server several times to order more food and wine. We had another excellent experience at Postino Central! It's definitely my favorite of the locations I've been to: it's spacious, open, and the staff are so friendly. We came in on a Saturday early evening and were seated immediately. We ordered two mocktails: the mockingbird and the glow up. We both preferred the glow up: it was the perfect refreshing summer drink we were looking for! The mockingbird was good as well, but to us was more of a fall vibe! We ordered some sweet potato wedges to start. They took about 15 min to come out (which is not bad at all, we were not concerned whatsoever), but the staff was super apologetic that they came out after our bruschetta board. Decided to hit up postino with a couple of friends for a late lunch! We requested a booth and got a nice private booth towards the back but the lighting was non existent there so it felt a little bit like a dungeon and it was so warm! I think a bit more lighting in that back area would have given this the 5 stars. However, the staff was amazing, it was about time to switch out staff is what we were told and they didn't skip a beat. My friends got a panini each and I did the bruschetta board and it did not disappoint. They also have $6 beer pitches and $6 glasses of wine which was amazing! I decided on the Tuscan tuna panini that I guess I expected to be warm as it had cheese on it but it wasn't (no big deal) I just always associate panini's to be hot or at the very least warm since they are by nature pressed. The tuna had enormous chunks in it but had a tang that I don't care for at all. It may have been the Dijon and mayo mix but I doubt it I like both of those. Another friend had the chicken and mozzarella panini and she said it was just "okay" my partner had the prosciutto and Brie panini and he liked it (I order it without the fig jam) but he likes figs. We went around 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and sat down at the bar. Anne was our server and she was outstanding! I had Hazy Little Thing IPA and my wife had the Ronco Colombo Italian white wine. Both were wonderful. We split an order of the marinated olives which were delicious and we had plenty to bring home as well. For mains, we had the Smoked Salmon board and the Pub Board. Her smoked salmon was amazing along with toast, a small Caesar salad and onions. My Pub Board had a hot pretzel with melted cheese, two kinds of sausage, two kinds of pickles and corn nuts(!) First, the gentleman that took my reservation arbitrarily put us down for the Patio(!) . I wasn't familiar with this restaurant so didn't knowcto say indoors - it was 105 degrees! A staple restaurant that is a MUST try. Yeah, bruschetta boards are at a bunch of places, but the bruschetta at postino is something I can't explain. Every time I go to postino, I HAVE to get at least some bruschetta. Fun fact, you don't need to get an entire board, you can get 1 piece up to 4 pieces (an entire board). My 2 favorite are the French onion and spicy pepper jam. Other runner ups include Brie apple and fig and salami and pesto. I like to get 2 pieces of bruschetta, and a side salad. Fills me just enough without being too full. The vibes at the restaurant are always great, and stay consistent through all locations.
