Board & Bottle days are for the girls. Monday & a Tuesday after 8pm you can get a board and bottle for $25 and this is a STEAL! It was very busy however, and due to the rain there was limited out door seating, but there were some free seats at the bar so it all worked out. This location is a bit smaller, and the parking lot is small, so if you come at prime time you may have some trouble parking. There were some spots available around 445pm on a weekday. Indoor/outdoor seating is available as well as some bar area seating. They have happy hour drink specials until 5pm on weekdays. The ambiance is intimate and dark, I also love the back wall mural of tin lunch boxes. You can also purchase wine bottles here and they offer a wine club deal too! The service was good, I believe it's a team effort so multiple people helped us out. The ham sandwich was very good, but when the Brussels sprouts salad came out, I thought it was the wrong salad. We came in on a Saturday early evening and were seated immediately. We ordered two mocktails: the mockingbird and the glow up. We both preferred the glow up: it was the perfect refreshing summer drink we were looking for! The mockingbird was good as well, but to us was more of a fall vibe! Decided to hit up postino with a couple of friends for a late lunch! We requested a booth and got a nice private booth towards the back but the lighting was non existent there so it felt a little bit like a dungeon and it was so warm! The tuna had enormous chunks in it but had a tang that I don't care for at all. It may have been the Dijon and mayo mix but I doubt it I like both of those. Another friend had the chicken and mozzarella panini and she said it was just "okay" my partner had the prosciutto and Brie panini and he liked it (I order it without the fig jam) but he likes figs. We have come here often for a "girls lunch" and have usually been happy but not this time. Weekday about 1130, not busy at all, only 2 other tables. The hostess was too busy on her cell phone with a personal call to even seat us. Only when I asked "should we seat ourselves?" did she give us a LOOK, put her phone down, and take us to a table for four when there were obviously SIX of us. We got menus and waited and waited and waited. At 1215, the waitress came and took our drink orders but no food order. At 1240, she took our food order (good thing we didn't have a timetable!). At 115, she had come by a couple times to refill the drinks but still no food. I asked her at that time "are we getting our food?" She did act nervous and we received our food within 10 minutes. I don't know if they were understaffed (it didn't appear to be because there were always at least 3 employees hanging around the bar just talking), or if the cook was overwhelmed. My dining companion was uber excited to learn that this location is located in the heart of the "gayberhood" Saff was kind and stopped several times to talk with my friend about the restaurant and the neighborhood.
