I just recently heard about Seed Shack and decided to give them a try for dinner. I stopped by on a Saturday evening to place a takeout order. The restaurant was fairly busy with a few people waiting for their takeout. There's ample seating indoor and some outdoor. I ordered lemon sesame tofu tacos and bacon mac & cheese on one of their devices near the entrance. A staff member came up to me shortly after and asked if I wanted a sample of their lemonades. I don't remember what flavor, but it was tasty and refreshing. My order didn't take too long and I waited to enjoy them at home. The tofu tacos were phenomenal! Full of flavor and way better than I expected. The bacon mac and cheese was also fantastic. It was rich and creamy. I couldn't finish everything in one sitting as much as I wanted to, but was happy to have bacon mac and cheese leftovers for the next day! read more

I had this place bookmarked and was in the area one day, so I decided to grab lunch from here. I ordered online for pickup and drove over. Not too busy of a shopping area so parking was easy. I walked inside and a staff member asked if I was picking up, and had my food ready to go. I didn't ask for utensils and thankfully they didn't give me any. They do have them available on the side if needed. I liked that they had free stickers so I took two. It wasn't busy when I stopped by, just one couple dining in, but they had a few bags for takeout so that seems to keep them busy. Ambiance was nice with good amount of seating. I decided to have lunch in the nearby preserve and I enjoyed my food. I ordered the chickn sandwich, buffalo style, with a side of fries. The sandwich was delicious! Loved the flavors and it was filling. I'm glad I got it Buffalo style because the spiciness was great. The fries tasted good but were soft rather than crispy, which is what I prefer. I also got a side of cheez sauce ($2) which was pricey considering the size, and it didn't taste like cheese or anything similar. I would pass on this in the future. I ordered their Brussels sprouts which came with a side of tahini sauce, but they were salty and yummy so the sauce wasn't necessary imo. Overall I love vegan food and I wish there were more restaurants that serve it. This spot is solid and I'd come back to try other menu items and support them. read more

Nice place for vegan lunch. We went when there was a heat in the afternoon in Arizona. The drinks were refreshing but lots of ice. Ordered jackfruit sandwich and tofu tacos. The avocado scoops on the tacos were cute and the sweet potato fries were good too. Might come back to have dessert next time since those looked like fun. read more

Olivia was so kind and knowledgeable walking through the menu. This is my second time here and they are good! Chill Sunday vibe place, wish it was a better weather due to location, but overall great place. Get the zang (I think that's what it's called) sauce on the side to dip your burger and fries in. A perfect vegan find while visiting! I came across Seed Shack while waiting to check into my hotel, and I'm so glad I did! The food was fresh, flavorful, you can tell they put a lot of care into everything they make. It's a small location, but very cozy with lots of parking available. Seed Shack has been on my radar for a while now, and I finally had the chance to experience their vegan cuisine. I wanted to order everything on the menu. Highly recommend the lemon sesame tofu tacos and cauliflower chickpea tacos. They were light, flavorful dressing, and deeply satisfying! Had a nice dinner with two of my girlfriends!! it was so much fun. The other is right, there's not very many options with low carb offerings. I like to think of the seed shack as a higher class, McDonald's that's vegan. So don't come expecting a gourmet vegan meal. This is definitely fun fast food hang out with your girlfriend's casual family dinner night. Although not gourmet, I like to think of the food as gourmet because there is just so much time and effort and love poured into the seed shack, the food here is definitely high-quality top-tier good food. This is definitely higher quality than fast food. It is. And if you are a vegan on a fun night out with your friends that has great people and great food. Living an entire city's distance away from Seed Shack I wanted to taste everything, so we ordered about half the menu. Chicken sandwich, truffle bacon Mac and cheese, bowl of chili, chili cheese fries, chickpea cauliflower tacos and jackfruit BBQ sandwich. We loved the chicken sandwich, super delightful and it was the best item we had today. The Mac and cheese was delicious; however, the rice paper bacon topping was interesting, a bit hard and chewy - surprisingly though, they were much better leftover after sitting in the fridge for a few hours softening up. I would certainly order the Mac again, but without the bacon topping next time. The chili was good, it had a sweet flavor and not really spicy, like at all but still tasted great. Probably for the better because while I enjoy spicy food, my partner does not and this was perfect for them, and for me adding some hot sauce to spice it up upgraded this for me. Chili cheese fries were bomb and the cauliflower tacos fell flat for us. I never thought I'd say this, but there was *too much guacamole on the tacos, instead of tasting the cauliflower and chickpea, it was a *lot of fresh guac. If you love jackfruit BBQ, you'll enjoy this BBQ sandwich, a sweet fresh and crisp flavor with the cucumber in there. Overall, we enjoyed our experience, the staff was pleasant, kind and friendly and they had a number of tables and booths to sit and enjoy our meal. I stumbled upon it a few weeks ago when I happen to be in the area, today I made the 25 minute drive out there specifically to come back for the truffle mac & cheese. They have clean and tidy tables in their dinning space and several tables to sit, although we usually do take out here. The staff is friendly and efficient! Bottom line, this place doesn't disappoint!! :) We regularly order the amazing NACHOS here, truffle bacon Mac n cheese, crispy tofu bites with Thai peanut sauce, chickpea/cauliflower tacos with fresh slaw, guac, spicy chipotle sauce, and lime (three very full street tacos! -my personal fav). Additionally, we love both versions of the crispy chickun sandwich (spicy buffalo and classic), as well as the fact that all entrees come with one of several choices of a side to pick from. I have mixed feelings about this place. I like eating vegan occasionally, it usually makes me feel good and healthy. One problem with eating vegan, it's usually hard to keep the carbs down. I felt like this place had very few low carb options. My wife and daughter were excited to try the Shack's Chili Cheese Fries. As I struggled to find something like carb my wife suggested the Buffalo Cauliflower Nachos. Both plates were tasty, but I wouldn't order them again. But, I can't stop eating the Peanut Butter n Jelly Impossible Burger. And today, Again the same! It just hits the spot and I must get it with the perfectly done Sweet Potato Fries. *** long post but worth it*** I am posting this to give some well deserved admiration to a delicious vegan spot that doesn't get nearly enough praise. I have been a patron of Seed Shack for about 4-5 years now and I get the same meal every time because of how amazing it is. I have tried other menu items and loved them, however nothing compares to a comfort favorite. Not only is their food always spectacular, the vibe of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. The people/ owners are some of the friendliest and most accommodating beings I have ever met. My last and final point is the price! Not often can my partner and I go to dinner and spend under $50 before tip. Every time we go to Seed Shack we get everything our hearts desire and it is around $40 for adequate portions. I don't know about you but seriously Seed Shack is one of my favorite places to frequent and I rarely see anyone posting about it. First time here... won't be our last. Food was great. Experience was awkward. Let's start with the awkward and get that out of the way. Long story short... don't come here ANYWHERE close to their closing time. We arrived just after 8:30 pm and were told right away that they close promptly at 9:00. We thought it odd at first because we were just running to the restroom super quick and then we were going to place our order right away. So no problems, right? Wrong... when they dropped off our food they reminded us that they closed in 10 minutes and told us we had to finish it or take it with us by 9:00. Then when I walked up to get some ketchup at 8:52, I was reminded again that they closed in 8 minutes. Then when another member of our party went to get a napkin at 8:55... you guessed it... they were told they close in 5 minutes. Not only was this unlike any other restaurant's policy, where, if you are in the door, you are in the door and allowed to finish your meal, but alright already, we get it, we get it. It's Friday and you want to go hang out with your friends and play Elden Ring till 4 in the morning. The sad part is that their pushiness to get us out the door really took away from the amazing experience of enjoying their scrum-dee-lee-umptious food. I had their Chick'N Sandwich. Very crispy outside texture with a wonderful flavor and texture for the protein. I got it the way they suggested Buffalo Ranch style with Ranch Slaw and Buffalo Sauce. Perfect combo! For my side, I got their Wakeme Seaweed Salad and it did not disappoint. I also stole (A BUNCH OF) my wife's sweet potato fries. They were magnificent and had we not been so scared to hurry up and get the heck out of Dodge, I would have ordered even more. The atmosphere is relaxed and the prices are reasonable ($11 - $15 for tasty vegan sandwiches/burgers made with high quality ingredients). Definitely coming back... just not after 8:30. read more

Absolutely LOVED the breakfast sandwiches I got! They were so moist and flavorful. Their fries were very good too. The restaurant is hidden in the back of an empty shopping complex. I was a little nervous when my gps took me to an empty parking lot, behind the main building but it was definitely worth it. The inside was cute, reminded me of Early Bird Vegan that used to be on Broadway & 16th. I sat in my car and ate and during that time I did see more people visit. Absolutely horrible service. After waiting over 10 minutes for a takeout order of a single black bean hamburger, I asked the server when it might be ready. She replied: i just put the order in 10 minutes ago. I asked if it takes more than 10 minutes to cook a burger. She replied: sometimes. I then asked if the burger might be done and she not know. She replied: yes ... but it's not ready. It'll be a couple more minutes. I replied: great. Thank you. So, it will be ready in 2 or 3 minutes? Her reply: i don't know. I don't want to put a number on it because if I tell you 3 minutes and it takes 15 more, you'll be upset. I replied if it's going to take 15 minutes, tell me and I'll cancel and leave. If it's going to be just a few minutes, I'll wait. Her reply: i don't know Me: THAT is why I'm asking you to walk the 10 feet behind you and enter the kitchen and find out. Her: im too busy Me: but, you've spent the last 5 minutes arguing with me instead of simply taking 30 seconds to satisfy a customer... She walked away. I presumed going to do her job and check on my order. Instead, a male employee (cook?) came out with a very aggressive tone and told me that my order would "be a while". When i asked him how long, he replied "pick a number" and walked away. Tldr ~ after another 5 minutes, my order was finally ready. She walked over, looked away, slammed my bag on the counter and walked away in a huff and a puff. Absolutely terrible. Was super excited to try a local healthy place, BUT The unkind and unwelcoming staff squished every bit of excitement I had when I walked through the door. I'm sorry I interrupted the employees that were having their meal at a table inside (no indoor dining allowed for public yet!?!?!!) Placed an order for two drinks and was told it would be 10 minutes.
