Came in to grab an early lunch with my bestie. The vibe is amazing. It is so beautiful inside. There's some tasteful music playing. Menus available on the wall, so you can go take a seat & look everything over without feeling rushed at the counter. They have tons of selections. From smoothies, to açaí bowls, breakfast platters, lunch bowls, sandwiches, salads, you name it! Healthy choices & also sweets if you're craving a treat! The drinks are a bit expensive in my opinion. I ordered a butterfly tea, which costed $7.49. It was small, and no refills are allowed on the drinks, which is a bummer for the price.... I got the Chicken Caprese Melt. I've had it once before & the first time it was much better. This time it was a bit dry and bland. I was disappointed. My best friend got a tofu bowl & hot chai. She loved her meal. Would dine here again, but would not order a drink & may stick with a bowl or salad instead of a sandwich.
Just finished a tour at Chateaux de vie and wanted a healthy bowl for lunch. This location is actually in Mesa at a strip mall. They were doing some road construction on Val Vista so pay attention to the turn to the strip mall. We were able to find parking but there's not a ton available. It's an order at the counter type of place. There were lots of gluten free and vegan options. I ordered the vitality bowl. $16.95 -sweet potatoes, cauliflower rice, roasted chicken, seasoned kale and cabbage. It came out really quick. The presentation was nice and colorful. The food was fresh and delicious. We even got a piece of cheese bread. Definitely will be back !
Who's ready for lunch? Starts at 11am. When you walk inside it's so clean and spacious and calm vibe. Definitely a place to enjoy a meal or smoothies. This was my first time and I was excited. I originally wanted to get the salmon bowl but it wasn't readily available so I went for the chicken harvest bowl with a basil vinaigrette sauce instead of the jalapeno sauce. The chicken harvest bowl has broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potato both yellow and white, almond wild rice, kale, micro greens and a pico de gallo mix. I also ordered the banana monkey smoothie which has unsweetened almond milk, almond butter, banana, flax seeds, dates and cinnamon. Both were healthy and delicious. I cannot wait to come back to try the salmon bowl and their other smoothies!! Staff were friendly and helpful with my choosing alternatives.
Cool vibes, I really enjoyed the aesthetic. I'd say staff was a little pretentious. I asked for additional pita bread and they said they couldn't give it to me because they'd have to charge me and the cash register was already closed. They use this jalepeno creamy dressing on a lot of their dishes. I'll probably try them again for breakfast just to see. There's a lot of seating available, but there were 5 or 6 dirty tables and then staff just standing around. Steak was great, but other food was a bit under seasoned in my opinion.

We went on a Monday around 5:30 and there was no wait. They have indoor and outdoor seating and honestly, not a bad seat in the place. We were able to catch the sunset and there were even some dogs on the patio. People were constantly bussing tables and bathrooms were clean. The menu has lots of options and you can make anything a bowl, plate, or salad. I got the Mediterranean plate and it was sooo delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and the falafel was perfect. I loved how colorful my plate came out. My friend got the hot steak, I tried it, and even ordered one to-go for my boyfriend and he said it was really fckn good. I didn't like the butterfly tea. The stevia taste was strong toward the end, so I didn't finish it (after mixing and drinking some). My friend liked it though and even got one to go. She also got the Whey to Paradise shake, which was good. Desserts were just okay. The sundae (banana-based) was pretty lackluster for me personally and the cookie wasn't a hit either. Honestly, the just desserts just didn't fit my tastebuds but I'll probably try something else next time like an açaí bowl or the pistachio ice cream. Clean, bright space and friendly staff. Not super helpful up front but nonetheless friendly. Overall, I'd definitely come back and try more. Or maybe if just get the Mediterranean plate with the yellow rice. I got it with quinoa because this lady behind me who couldn't decide what she wanted said it was the yummy sticky kind. And she wasn't lying! So good
Came here with a large group we were able to find a table large enough for us all. they also have a good size outdoor seating space as well. i got the smoothie, that was delicious and very healthy like most items they have. i did also get the curry and that left me wanting more. it was bland and there was barely any curry compared to the size of the plate. the chicken bites were good and the sauce was very unique as well.
Meet family here for a late lunch, it was a little crowded but we were able to find a seat right away. They had plenty on the menu to choose from with and without meat options. I had a salad with steak and it was very good and the steak was cooked correctly and very tender. My milkshake was good, but kind of bland, otherwise great food and visit, we all enjoyed our meals.
I've been wanting to try this place for so long and finally got to over the weekend and it was well worth the wait. I got the mango goat cheese salad with tri tip and it was incredible! The flavors were great, the portion was large and everything tasted very fresh. All meals come with a cheese bread which is yummy too. Can't wait to come back to try other things off the menu.
I have tried a lot of things on the menu and had mostly good luck. Mac n cheese is delicious and I love their bowls. I'm not the biggest fan of the sandwiches and I usually love the drinks but today I ordered 2 new drinks and was disappointed. The matcha power was not mixed well and was mint/banana dominant. The peanut butter bomb was like drinking warm melted ice cream. The flavor was good but not pleasant to drink. I think I'll just stick to my blue coconut spirulina drink. I always have good luck with that one.
My co-workers/friends were planning to go somewhere else for lunch but noticed this cute place with outdoor seating and switched gears. It was hopping for a lunch spot on a random Monday. You place your order and then you find your seat. Some of the tables were still dirty but we assumed it was bc of the lunch rush. We ended up clearing a table for ourselves and the workers came rushing by to help. I order the wild salmon salad. My friend ordered the falafel salad. And my other friend ordered the chicken caprese melt. My wild salmon salad: very very good. The cashews were a good touch. The salmon was very well cooked and chewy. It looks like it was more grounded into a patty instead of a nice filet. Good for a lunch salad. If I had it for dinner I think i would have wanted it to be more like a filet My friend loved her falafel salad. She kept mentioning how neat that most anything on the menu could be converted to veggie. And there were many many options for vegans. My other friend inhaled his chicken caprese melt. He loved it. All in all - we would come here again!
A wonderful restaurant that makes healthy AND delicious food You order at the counter. There are bowls, wraps salads, smoothies and more. Everything is made fresh in house. I ordered the garden delight salad and added chicken. My sister ordered the dream salad Both were fantastic!! No old greens. I had a basin dressing which was so flavorful. We sat outside on the patio which offers both shade or sun. I can't wait to come back k and try more options.
This was my first time at Aubergine Kitchen, and I brought my family who were visiting from out of town. I was really impressed by the variety of healthy options on the menu--perfect for anyone looking to eat well without sacrificing flavor! It's similar to the healthy casual dining concept like Flower Child and Original Chop Shop. One thing I didn't love was the use of stevia in most of their drink options. Personally, I'm not a fan of the taste, so I was a bit disappointed there wasn't more variety without it. If you're sensitive to stevia, just keep that in mind when choosing your beverage. On the bright side, my Mango Salmon Bowl was absolutely delicious--fresh, vibrant, and filling without being heavy. We also tried the Brazilian cheese bread, which was scrumptious and a big hit with everyone at the table. My kiddo enjoyed the baked chicken bites with fruit and a lemonade, and it was great to see healthy options for kids as well. Overall, we had a great experience and I'd definitely come back for the food! Just hoping for a few more drink options next time.
Love the concept giving 5 stars but will also give an honest review. We love the actual health food delivery options. But the mac n cheese was not good, if you're GF and it's your only option then it's not bad but if you don't need a healthy Mac n cheese then get yourself a gooey good one from somewhere else. The cheese bread was pretty good. Broccoli also good but my tritip came out mooing still. I took it home and cooked it and it was awesome. The Mediterranean plate was also delicious, every part of it. Also the nutty cookie was BOMB, I ate it before I could take a photo lol. Definitely try them out. We need more restaurants like this. Also, will add that it was reasonably priced.

Fantastic option for quick serve healthy food on the go. Big fan of the cheese bread as well. We did not have to wait long for the food to come out. The staff were happy to provide recommendations and talk about what I might like. The restaurant itself had a nice cute patio area. read more

Looking at the photo, the bowl itself appears to be: * A moderate serving of yellow rice * A small handful of kale * Maybe 2-3 oz of chicken at most * Very little broccoli/other vegetables For someone who's active, lifts weights, and is aiming for higher protein intake, that chicken portion is especially underwhelming. Id probably expect closer to 5-6 oz of chicken in a protein-based entrée, not what looks like a few chopped pieces scattered on top. The chicken tenders help salvage the meal from a protein standpoint, but that's not really the point. You shouldn't have to order an extra side just to make the entrée feel complete. The price breakdown is what really stings: * Coconut Curry Bowl * Chicken tenders * Protein smoothie * Tax/tip Total: $43 When I look at the actual food in the picture, it doesn't visually read as a $43 meal. It looks more like a $20-25 meal in terms of portion size. What's interesting is that the dine-in portions seem much larger. I love Aubergine Kitchen and eat there often because it's one of the few places that fits my gluten-free and dairy-free diet. However, I was disappointed with my takeout order tonight. read more

Trendy chain that touts its quality ingredients and nutrient-rich meals. Despite its name, eggplant doesn't seem to be an especially focus in its dishes, sounds good though! They offer a variety of plates, salads, bowls, melts, breakfast, desserts and smoothies. Besides a focus on whole foods and some things that are whole wheat and wild, not sure where they source their ingredients. You can filter their dishes by dairy, gluten, vegetarian and vegan. Regardless, their food was very good. I customized a bowl with tofu, greens and sauce and it was tasty. The melts are also tasty. I enjoyed the cheese bread ball that came with the bowl and wished it came in a pair. Their superfood smoothies are yummy but also pricey. Most of their dishes are between $12 and 18 and portions are adequate. They also sell swag with their branding. The restaurant atmosphere feels a bit a posh/swanky, which isn't my usual go to. But as a result it did feel clean and modern. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have an easy to navigate website to order for a specific time. (Most of the time when we pick up an order, it's not ready by the specific time but it's done within 5-10 minutes.) You can also download their app to earn rewards. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here today. All in, was around $16 for a bowl with tofu and a cheesy bread (free with bowl). No soda here, just juices and other yummy-looking drinks I didn't photograph. Salads, some pitas, bowls, acai, smoothies. All of it looked so good and options for everyone from vegan, gluten free, meat-eating... I could try something new everyday as a vegetarian and be happy. Coconut curry bowl (sub chicken for tofu for free). Tofu was good and I'm verrrrry picky about my tofu. Firm, flavorful. I could've used a smidge more sauce because I love curry and perhaps some spice. Next time I'll ask. read more
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Arizona. It is super clean. No seed oils, no processed foods, delicious food! My favorite entrée is the coconut curry bowl, which has a slightly spicy base, but is super nourishing and filling. Every bowl and salad comes with a cheese filled pastry. It is one of my favorite things about this place. The ambience is really nice too. The lighting isn't too harsh, there's lots of seating, and the place is kept very clean. The service is good, but it's just an order at counter type of deal so they can't screw it up that bad. They clean up the tables very fast and clear your plates for you, love that about it! read more

This is a spot I've been wanting to try for a really long time and finally had a chance to go during the day for a breakfast meet up. Aubergine Kitchwn has an extensive menu and all the items seemed very fresh. My friend and I split an egg dish and a smoothie and they were both delicious. The woman working at the desk was very sweet and answered all of our questions about the menu. I love the earth tones and airy ambience filled with plants. There were lots of seats and we opted for indoor because it was a little cooler out. The only thing we did not love that we tried was the Keylime pie because of the texture of it. I think because of its cleaner ingredients it didn't have the texture and flavor we were expecting so that threw us off. I would love to return and try some of their other drinks and dishes! read more

I LOVE Aubergine Kitchen! Healthy, reasonable and very tasty. I typically order through DoorDash and this would be my first experience eating at the restaurant. The ambiance is undeniably beautiful, tastefully decorated. It has a very calming and modern feel to it. For breakfast, husband got shakshouka and I got the veggie omelette, both are very delicious and price point is decent! Service is good. Orders are made fresh. They have home made sriracha that we loved, not super spicy. read more
Well I ordered the creamy chicken spaghetti squash again for the third time and the strawberry glow smoothie (not too sweet). I guess that says a lot for the quality and consistency of how much I enjoy eating here. Each entree comes with the chewy cheese bread. I've tried a few other entrees like the avocado melt, Mediterranean bowl, and hummus app. So I have much more to try. But I love what they have to offer here. There's only one line that can get pretty busy during lunch hour. But the food comes out pretty fast and they also clean up pretty fast as well to make room for the incoming customers. The place feels as clean as the food is. There's outdoor patio available. I only wish they have more parking out front but it's impossible with the other businesses around. But it's a solid go to if you want to feel and eat healthy. read more

Normally not a huge curry fan but it was tastefully done. Helped along by friendly assistant ordering and felt like we were eating food easily double the $35 for 2 price. It's fast casual which I love but it can be frustrating to find a table. My coworkers told me about this place because they know if like it, and they were right! Right out in front they day what they are about--"eat better, feel different." This is the first Aubergine Kitchen in Arizona. All the rest are in Utah. I love the natural, kind of Zen decor of this place. Lots of light wood, gorgeous white tiles, and a ton of plants. There is a patio with seating, too. It's fast casual: order at the counter and someone brings your food to your table on real dishes. The menu is quite large, and I had a heck of a time trying to make up my mind. There are bowls, salads, sandwiches, plates, smoothies, Mac and cheese, and bakery items. They also have something called "ice dream." This place is great. There were quite a few people, so it looks like I'm not the only one who thinks so. SO MAD I SPENT $25 on crappy BROKEN SOGGY GLUTEN FREE MACARONI AND CHEESE - I was excited because there's not a lot of places that used actual mac & cheese noodles most of them use penne so I was excited to get this but instead of of course all excitement is going out the door because when I could've just made my own macaroni and cheese now I have this crappy broken noodle cheese mess. That is no way resembles macaroni and cheese. It's kind of when you absolutely mess up macaroni and cheese at home while cooking yourself. SUPER DUPER NOT COOL VERY IRRITATING. You can't even discern to see one singular whole noodle. AWESOME! I will never order this again. And honestly, I was excited because of this went well. I was going to start buying more of your other gluten-free products that look really good but now I feel like you're advertising something in which you are putting SUBPAR far effort into WHICH HURTS EXTRA WHEN YOU'RE GLUTEN-FREE CUSTOMER AND YOU'RE CONSTANTLY HAVING TO BE OVERCHARGED FOR SOMETHING THAT COST HALF THE PRICE SOMEWHERE ELSE SO COOL. We had a good supper at Aubergine tonight. Our bowls were flavorful and were generously sized. The veggies were fresh, the dressings very flavorful. I had the peanut tofu bowl and I was crazy about the fruit (I think mangoes) that was in the bowl. The tofu was so tasty! My sister was similarly pleased with the yellow curry bowl as well. AND the cheesy biscuit thing I had was SO GOOD!!! We ordered at the counter and the food was delivered to the outside table we chose. It was a very pleasant evening. read more
Still on the hunt for the "best" chai nearby. This place is new and has very healthy options which is always a draw for me. The chai is made with their house-made cashew milk and had a true earthy taste to it. Not bad, but not my favorite flavor. I also tried the cocoa and the peanut butter energy bites, both of which were delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and happy to describe the items on the menu and there was a nice range of seating options both indoor and out. I finally got to try this place thanks to my dear friend. I tried the chicken spaghetti squash and strawberry glow smoothie. Both were delicious and I love that it's healthy. Service was fantastic and the place is spacious and modern. If you want the lunch options, you will need to wait until 11am. Otherwise, it's breakfast options until then! read more

I only tried one thing here. The strawberry glow smoothie. I had heard it was a dupe for the Hailey Bieber smoothie at Erewhon which I have never tried so I can't compare. However, I will say that it was delicious. Very creamy with a delicious strawberry coconut flavor. I will say that the food also looked really good. I would like to try it sometime when I have more time. read more
Been her a few times now. This place is a healthy quick place to eat. "Healthy" also means not as good tasting. If you want good tasting then there's a sub place next door. I have a dad bod and kinda tired of it so I am eating more healthy now. Walking in you feel like you stepped into California. Staff has been very friendly both times. They have a large patio in the front. I had the macncheese, chicken bites, steak pita and some peanut butter smoothie. They have fresh juices too which I really like. My favorite is the blue juice called pineapple ginger juice. For being a healthy fast food restaurant the food is really good. You can taste the quality and there is an extra cost for that. If you want to give your body a break I highly recommend checking Auibergine Kitchen out. read more
I had been trying to come by here for months, but was never in the neighborhood. So happy to say I finally tried it out! Loved the endless options and the mindful ingredients presented on the menu. Nothing better than knowing exactly what you're ordering. I had the Thai bowl with chicken thigh and loved it! Can't go wrong with a yummy rice and chicken dish. The world needs more restaurants like Aubergine Kitchen! I've been here twice now, and both visits were fantastic. My first visit was shortly after they opened. My friend and I arrived just a little past 11 a.m., and there was already a line to order. The space is beautiful, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I ordered the following: Cheese Bread Peanut Bowl Cevaccino Olive Oil Lemon Cake The cheese bread is exactly as described; soft, cheesy, and tasty. The bowl was excellent. It has kale, almond wild rice, tofu, red cabbage salad, roasted broccoli, walnut pesto mushroom, mango salsa, microgreens, and peanut sauce. It's gluten-free and vegan, packed with flavor and texture. The cevaccino is a hot drink made with house-made cashew milk, stevia, cevada, and cocoa powder. It has a slight coffee-like flavor without the caffeine. As someone who loves coffee, I didn't enjoy it as much. It's also quite thick. The cake was fantastic! Moist, delicious, and both gluten-free and vegan. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food. The service was friendly and welcoming. My friend and I arrived at opening on a weekday and there was already a small like. But it moved quickly! The parking out front was full but plenty of parking behind the row of businesses Aubergine Kitchen is located. The vibe and decor is nice/clean when you walk in. Plenty of seating inside and on the patio outside. There are menus on the shelf to the right you can look through while you wait to order. I'm not vegetarian, vegan or gluten free but they have lots of options for those who are. They have a nice variety of bowls, plates, smoothies and wraps to choose from. You order at the front, grab a number and seat while someone will bring your order to you. I ordered the tri tip Madeira bowl and my friend ordered the spicy Thai bowl with fish since the girl who took our order recommended it. - The fish was dry and the sauce was not spicy, just bland. - The tri tip Madeira was dry and the tiny amount of sauce tasted odd, not bad but just wasn't tasty to me. - My blue wave smoothie was delish and my friend liked her cocoa mint smoothie. - The cheese bread which is like the Brazilian pao de quijo was yum and came with our bowls. I would give Aubergine a second try, obviously other people loved their dishes. I would just order something else and def get the blue wave smoothie again :) read more

This restaurant is pretty popular so it took about 15 minutes to order and get my food but it was worth the wait. They have fresh, healthy and flavorful options made with whole foods . I loved the mango salmon bowl. The salmon was cooked to perfection . I also got the Cocoa Mint Smoothie to save for breakfast the next day. This smoothie tasted decadent and delicious. I can't believe according to the nutrition information that it's only 350 calories with over 20 grams of protein. This is a great healthy casual restaurant choice read more
