Visited for the first time on Saturday evening. Overall, very tasty! All of the ingredients were high quality and our meals were very good. The lake views were beautiful and we enjoyed the live music. My husband had the ahi tuna, and I had the bacon shrimp skewers. We also shared a charcuterie board. Overall, the food was very tasty and this restaurant really cares about presentation. Everything we ate was presented very nicely. My only feedback is that we wished that the charcuterie board had some cheese on it. Also, I had ordered an Italian soda for my drink, which was much too sweet in my opinion. It tasted like Sierra Mist mixed with melted ice cream, and was drizzled with caramel. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, but it was not a real Italian soda. Aside from these minor things, we had a great time here and would probably come back! read more

Well, we are staying in the area for the week, and were able to walk to Pier 54 and eat Saturday evening, the day we arrived. Very enjoyable, with a sever who was responsive and super friendly. Zero complaints, it was a "we'll be back" experience. There's lots of great eateries and restaurants very close, but we decided to go back, because it was so good. We aren't the complaining type, and I'm still a little mad at myself for leaving any type of a tip, let alone a decent one. I can't blame it all on the server. Made reservations, and arrived, and it wasn't honored. Where would you like to go, this area is pretty busy. No big deal, twenty minutes of blinding sun was fine. Sat down, ordered drinks. Server came said a local craft bottle wasn't available. No big deal, ordered a basic draft. My wife's drink came, and we waited, and waited. Server came back to see if we're ready to order, and I said, just like Norm, Beer???? She apologized and said she had two big tables and forgot. What did you order? No worries, we get it. Then she took our orders. Wife, Caesar salad with chicken, me Wagu burger and fries Server came over a little later and asked my wife if she wanted her salad now ( it's her meal, nothing else ordered). She said bring it out with his burger. No problem, no big deal. Food comes out together, looks good, wife's happy with her salad, I grab a fry before jumping into the nice Wagu burger...... COLD, limp, I'm talking they haven't seen hot grease in 30 minutes minimum. When our server finally comes back for the token, " how's everything "?, I tell her the fries are Horrible, please, please try them. I'm more than halfway through my burger and she says I'm sorry, would you like to get you another order of fries? I said no, kind of laughing, just that they are Really bad, it's not your fault, but they terrible. She came back again, and asked if we wanted dessert. We said no, just our bill. She said it's free, and we said no again She brought our bill, No discount, NO apology, and me being a nice dum dum, still left a $12 tip Regrets YEs!!! Can't blame it all on our server, but if whoever was in charge at the time 7:00pm on a Thursday evening, treats costumers like that, there's NO reason to Ever go there again. We really were planning on taking our son there tomorrow, but not now. Management, you can contact me if you would like, but I left and told anyone close not to go there. I wasn't mad, but certainly wasn't happy. Okay, I was mad. I've never left a bad review before, but this could have been avoided read more

Perfect date night! This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, with the exceptional views, the ambience, the staff, and the food, were all wonderful. Appetizers are between $12-18, and entrées were between $16-28-ish. Calamari was crispy without being greasy, and the Baja shrimp tacos were perfectly seasoned. The only complaint I have is the issue with the parking lots. So, be prepared to park in the second parking lot and NOT the first even though the entrance is literally within feet. Smh. read more

Had such an amazing dinner date with a friend. The weather was nice enough to sit outside by the water. We were able to watch the sunset which was really beautiful. Friday nights are supposed to be live jazz music from 6-9, I unfortunately have to question the "jazz" music that was being played because it didn't sound like jazz to me. I tried the Spinach and Artichoke dip appetizer, which was good. For my main course I ordered the goat cheese burger, this was only ok to me, it wasn't as flavorful as I wanted or expected it to be. They serve hand cut fries, which is always a plus in my book. I've only been to Pier 54 one other time years ago for lunch. I'd probably go back for the fries and to try live jazz music night one more time just to see if actual jazz music is played. read more

Food & Service were not good. Won't be returning. View was great! Waiter had an attitude. She didn't refill our drinks without us asking and didn't clear our table even when we had dessert. Charged $0.69 for ranch we didn't ask for. Makes no sense. There are better places. Plate was also left dirty, asked waitress for a new plate. No one noticed before giving it to us read more

Originally I looked up "bottomless mimosas" and Pier 54 popped up. We had been there previously but it had been awhile. The ambiance was amazing and the spot was very cutely decorated. Spinach artichoke dip texture was thick (like a chowder) and tastes like mayonnaise with pieces of spinach . My partner ordered a BLT and fries with the tomato on the side and the tomato was cut into thick slices that ended up being thicker than the bread. Kids chicken fingers with fries and the kids did not enjoy the fries. I asked to speak to the manager and I watched the server approach the manager and come back and tell me that it is against the law to ask for a manager. (You could imagine the befuddled look on mine and the server's faces as he said it) I then explained that it wasn't for bad service but for the bottom mimosas prices since their online price was $12 with a $15 dollar food purchase and $2 refills after the 1st. I get there and the price on the receipt was $25 and no refill. Imagine the disappointment had I ordered a second round for another $25. After telling the server the issue of bottomless mimosas, the manager then comes to the table and proceeds to tell me that she needs to call the owners to see what she as the manager could do about the bill because she can't give discounts on alcohol. She comes back and said she can give me 20% off the meal. And that this wasn't the only time they have been questioned about their online menu not matching the in person menu. I basically paid $25 for a $4 dollar bottle of champagne and a maybe 10 ounce carafe of orange juice which my 7 year old nephew thought it was his. read more

We went for lunch on Sunday 2/1/26 at 2:00pm. It was not that crowded to wait about 10 minutes at the door to be noticed. I strongly feel we were seated after my husband said "I can't believe we have been waiting so long." The bartender came over with our menus. This young lady appeared to be miserable, without eye contact or a nice thing to say. No smile, hello, sorry for the wait. We waited for our waitress Lindsey for about 10 minutes. Lindsey took our order and returned with our drinks within a reasonable amount of time. We had 4 drinks, and mine was a martini. Drinks were delivered and after about 15 minutes, I asked for my martini. The bartender, who was extremely unfriendly , stated "I made it, it is right there." I had no idea my water glass next to me was my martini. No olive, no glass that appeared to be a cocktail when our waitress placed it down. The outdoor seating was pleasant on a beautiful day. Besides that, I was rather disappointed in the food, service, and overall welcomeness by the staff. The second party in our group was charged 3 times, voided and charged for the one amount on their bank statement. Ours was charged once for the proper amount. Not sure we will return. read more

Kassandra our server failed to tell us what the happy hour drinks were. It says "$4.50 well drinks". We said okay we want to put in some drinks for happy hour! And got two cocktails with the well tequila/vodka. With our questions it gave her about 4-5 opportunities to tell us that what we ordered was not a happy hour well drink. Mind you, NOTHING is listed on the menu as a well drink. You just have to guess and hope it's right. Or the server could tell you but she never did. So we get our bill and we're charged $8.50. My husband was pissed at the fact she didn't tell us what was a well drink and what qualifies for happy hour. Instead she withheld and basically lied. Doesn't look good. Food was good. Except the entrees sucked. They don't season their meat it's bland asf. $9 for the skinniest limp piece of cake and to top it all off, the smell of cigarettes all over your food. Disgusting place. Will never be back. read more

It was small and not tidy, looks old and outdated. The food was just ok, not bad, not good. When you arrive you are directed to park in a next door parking lot, they have an attendant and they will not let you use this lot unless you are going to a bigger restaurant that shares the lot, so plan on parking and walking. The limited seating surrounds a bar so you have to sit super close to those that are only there for cocktails and they got super loud and obnoxious, but the worst part is they allow smoking if you're sitting at the bar! I couldn't believe it. 1st time coming here and definitely the last read more

The atmosphere at Pier 54 was enjoyable. On a comfortable fall evening in Phoenix, it's perfect for hanging out for dinner and drinks on the patio with your peeps. The restaurant is located on a lake and has live music on the weekends. My goto margarita on the rocks was sublime. The only improvement they need is a bit more timely service. The server gathered our order right away but the kitchen took some time to prepare and it wasn't even busy on a Sunday evening. I would go back again for the chill vibe and location. read more

The view at sunset with live music is so nice. I love how the bar is the central location of the entire outdoor space. The service is very accommodating and the servers check in with you often to make sure your food and service is pleasing. Round up to 3.5 stars. Headed here for a weekend lunch with a friend. Never had been. Quant spot with great view of the Lakes. However, outside temperature control was off. We had high expectations for this place because the photos are beautiful and they have a decent menu. Went with a group of friends and had a very nice server. We ordered the green chili as an appetizer and it was really tasty! It was plenty also, served in a clay pot with a few slices of cheese to be melted on top and chips on the side. Everyone dug in and it had a great flavor - we had to ask for more chips because there definitely wasn't enough for the amount of chili that comes out. The server gladly brought us some (her name may have been Scottlynnn- she was incredibly sweet and pleasant). We then ordered our meals: we had the lamb burger, goat cheese burger, the bbq burger, shrimp salad, and chef's burger - I also asked for ranch and a side of blue cheese crumbles to relish a little more on the chefs. The burgers come with a salad or fries. I opted for fries and some of us had salad too. I'm unsure if it was because we had an appetizer out first, but the food took an incredibly long time, which then amounted to the burgers coming out well done (way overly done) and I didn't even realize there wasn't an option for us to tell our server the preferred temperatures. They were dry, had to ask for condiments on the side, and I wasn't particularly moved by the flavor of the patty either (a bit disappointing if I'm being honest). And when our meals did come out, mine came with salad and my friend's with fries (they were switched). Our server quickly said, oh! I'll just go back and get some more fries and bring them out for you... which she left and came back and said- "I'm incredibly sorry but my manager is not allowing me to bring out more fries, can you two please just switch plates? Do you mind?". At first we were both like oh yeah, sure - why not. But then after thinking about it, really... we had already both started eating - so maybe that should have been the original suggestion. I asked for the manager's name just to add it here - Emily. I'm really taken aback that for a 6 top with everyone ordering food and drinks that one little side of fries couldn't have been brought out. Normally, at other restaurants when there is a small mistake a manager would have came out to check on the table. It wasn't a major mistake so surely it didn't warrant that (nor did we want or need that). But our server also said it was her second day. And perhaps it may have been a mistake on our servers part in putting the order in, but we are just on the tail end of COVID. Perhaps if it weren't my close friend I wouldn't have wanted to take his already started on dish and switch. This was poor manager judgement and I was disappointed overall by how this was handled. All in all, the food was decent. The views were very nice, but the food, flavor and experience was sub par. But I hope if this occurs again, Emily or another manager will take note to the customer experience and how that can impact desire to return. read more

The food was amazing! The views were spectacular. Our server was one of the best. Hope to go back the next time I'm in Washington.

This has been a long a trying year so far so this was a much needed night out for my boyfriend who's fighting stage 3 cancer. He knows my love for the water and surprised me with this nice romantic spot on the lake in Tempe now it's a far cry from the ocean in Southern California but it was the thought that counted. We arrived during happy hour there was plenty of parking but this place does fill up quickly as the sun starts to set. I ordered a standard garden salad to start off that consisted of romaine lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers and ranch dressing for my choice of dressing. Next came the charcuterie board now when I was ordering it the waiter explained to us that it only came with meat but that we could order it with cheeses, dried apricots, fresh grapes, fresh pecans that I'm highly allergic to so my boyfriend ate them, fresh strawberries, three different types of cheeses one of them being blue cheese and three different types of meats and some freshly sliced bread it was a charcuterie board of yummy goodness something I highly recommend. My boyfriend ordered a green chili shredded type of verde that was nice and spicy it came with fresh tortilla chips the food was very good. Our waiter was very attentive and the prices were very reasonable this is a great place for date night and possibly group meals as long as you make reservations ahead of time if I could give this place 10 stars I surely would we'll definitely be going back. read more

Service was pretty bad. Server forgot everything we ever asked for or took 25 minutes to bring a drink or water. Food orders were missing requests of course too. Food not anything to rave about. Went for Mother's day brunch. Filet wrong and you pay very high cost just to sit by a lake. Our waiter went into the restroom and our friends did too but were shocked when Anthony used the restroom and didn't wash his hands. check was to be devided with 1/3 on one credit card, and 2/3 on another. Love this local bar. Great for some a quick drink, great views and good local vibe. Fries are great, bar service is fast.

With all the hype of this place, it was not what I expected. It's a little rundown place on a man-made lake. The view of the water with the sunset is very pretty. Please don't listen to the ONE TikTok that tells you to come here - it's really not good. Arrived at 11:30 on Saturday, only one other table of people so far but still took a number of minutes to get us seated. Sat down, took about 15 min for someone to come ask us if we wanted to get drinks. We wanted both food and drinks. Waitress brings yellow tea with something floating in the bottom- along with the beers the others I came with ordered. I got the Ruben - it was old deli meat that had been sitting out for God knows. (Ends we're dry and hard on meat) and hardly had any on there. (See picture) The waitress was bot good either and never came back after they brought our food. I also noticed on the window they have posted a Health Score that hasn't been updated since 2016. According to Yelp, they have a 33/100. Honestly how is this place still operating? I am not sure.... Nice to have live music. The food is par. It's not a culinary extravaganza. Sitting under the canopies next to the lake, with a real guy literally playing guitar is super chill, even in 100 degree Tempe. We had a relaxing time at this quirky little place. Not a first date place, maybe a three month anniversary place if she's not high maintenance. read more

This place has beautiful views of a little man made lake. Came on a Friday night and had no issues being promptly seated. They had live music which was a lot of fun and not too loud so you could still have conversations. Got a burger with a side of fries and a couple cocktails and they were fine. However I do think this place is pricey for the quality of food you get and the facilities (I.e plastic chairs, bathrooms are outside of the restaurant etc.). We were a party of five and got 20% gratuity added which was not identified in everyone's check but added to all. This policy applies for parties of 6 or more so it shouldn't have been applied to our party. Initially I was not aware of this addition and was going to tip on top of the 20%. If you are considering this spot, the view is beautiful and it may be worth it to come grab only drinks and catch the sunset; just ask for an itemized bill to prevent situations like this. read more

The concept they have is cute.... mom and pop shop type feel, right on the man made lake where you can see the sunset plus, a lil live music to top off your night. Other than that ttthhhaatttssss all I would give them. My table low key felt forgotten for service, the table across from us came after and was served more promptly. The spinach artichoke dip was lacking flavor and spinach. My goat cheese burger I asked "medium" was over cooked and dry. The southwest burger was over cooked as well asked for "medium" but the cheese and pepper made up for it. My beer was sadly warm but drinkable. The best thing in the menu was the fries!!!
