There is no better place to watch women's sports in the city. I was lucky enough to watch a Mercury playoff game here and even though I was rooting for the wrong team , the atmosphere was electric!! I had the chicken tenders for my meal and they were excellent! This was my first time visiting this spot. One of my friends held an event here and I really loved the spot. As soon as I saw okra on the menu, it was a win win! I was able to meet Audrey the owner and such a down to earth person. We set out on the patio and if need be, there's heaters and swinging egg chairs. There's plenty of space for gatherings and entertainment. Parking is conveniently located right behind the bar so that's also a plus. It may be a little small during the night time but doable. The waitresses were attentive and kept checking on us. The only thing I didn't do was go inside so I couldn't tell you how that looks. The menu and prices are fair and the food was hot and tasty. The grilled cheese my friend ordered was cheesy. No one had complaints about anything. If you're looking for a fun filled time, I suggest this place. read more

The name is derived from the Title IX federal legislation which was passed in 1972, giving women athletes an equal opportunity in sports from elementary school to college. There, you'll find women's sporting events displayed on multiple screens (when available), and a menu featuring items named after famous female athletes and drinks from female-owned breweries and distilleries. The walls are adorned with pictures of iconic Arizona female athletes, trophies, medals and lots to look at. It's located where Short Leash Hotdogs & Taproom used to be. PRO TIP: ALWAYS CHECK THEIR WEBSITE BEFORE GOING, BECAUSE THEY ARE BRILLIANT AND WILL POST WHAT SPORTS WILL BE AIRING. Don't show up clueless and then get annoyed bc baseball isn't on (I swear this isn't to anyone specific, just saying.... take advantage of how proactive and informative their website is!) Their TVs are HIGH QUALITY and they have a zillion of them. I was accidentally there (didn't take my own pro tip advice) during the WNBA playoffs, but it was the best accident for me because I LOVE sports and the energy of that crowd was insane. Honestly, it outperformed the bulk of any sports bar I've been to in the Valley, and I've been to A LOT!! It was so fun, despite the loss, the energy stayed up through the end of the game, and extra perk, there were no brooding men sulking around after their team lost, haha! I think I found my new home. Now onto the food - be sure to scan the full list of burgers/sandwiches because the gem you are going to want is the Whiskey Onion Burger, but I didn't see it until the last second because it's not at the top of the list with the other two burger options. When I say this is one of the best burgers I've ever had, I am not lying to you! I was skeptical of the potato chip and the arugula... I'm telling you right now... DO NOT MODIFY!! They know what they are doing and that magical mix of ingredients results in a masterpiece. I cannot wait to go back, there's so much more I want to try on the menu. Again, loved the crowd, the TVs, literally everything!! One thing is I wish they had more restrooms! They only have two, in the entire bar, so when it's busy, expect a line. When I heard that Phoenix was finally getting its first women-focused sports bar, I couldn't wait to check it out. From the moment I stepped in, it was clear that this place is all about celebrating women in sports. The decor features an amazing collection of sports memorabilia, and even the drinks are named after legendary female athletes. Our group chose to dine on the patio, which had a vibrant, fun atmosphere. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outside, and we didn't have to wait at all to be seated. We ordered the chicken tender basket, cauliflower wing basket, and waffle fries. The cauliflower wings were definitely the highlight--generous portions with a crispy, flavorful breading. Plus, each basket came with three different dipping sauces to mix and match, which was a fun touch. The cocktail and mocktail menu was impressive--especially as a mocktail connoisseur, I highly recommend the Sue Bird. It's the perfect drink for anyone who wants something refreshing and unique. Hands down my favorite place to catch women's sports! The staff and atmosphere are inviting and scream "I'm rooting for the girls!" lol. The bartenders are phenomenal and typically exceed my expectations with every beverage I've ordered. I'm a fan of their fries, chicken wings, and tenders though I wish the wings were tossed in the sauces instead of plain with the sauces on the side. The wings are always fried hard (not dry!!), the tenders are tender and flavorful, and the fries are always perfectly seasoned -- not too salty. I've also had the whiskey onion burger which was great but not as filling as i hoped. I gave 4 stars because I do believe there's room for improvement on a couple of the other menu items i.e. the pimento cheese dip was pretty bland, mac & cheese had a great cheese flavor but needed depth and was a bit runny. Overall, this place is worth a visit or two (in my case many lol) and i cannot wait to see how they continue to grow and evolve into a Valley staple in years to come. read more

This review is based on nothing but love! I want this place to do amazing! I am just going to always give my truthful opinion and this is based on my experience from 3/20 My gf and I went around 5 got a table right away. We decided to sit outside it was beautiful out. The tables do need to be sanded down big time for sure have to be careful for splinters and snagging your clothes on the edge of the wooden tables. Not the most comfortable seats but was fine for a quick beer and slider. The outside area is super cute great if you want to sit and chat the inside is a bit louder but it's expected with music and games on. Our server was Astrid who was amazing! Super nice and friendly. Now to the food. I got the Thai slider and my gf got the pimento slider. We also ordered the chips and waffle fries basket. The Thai burger was ok they did do a great job on my request for extra crispy back (IYKYK) the slider is more like a small burger paddy on a slider bun. The bun was super dry need to be toasted with butter or something was very crumbly bread. The sauce was a bbq sauce with a peanut sauce. So sometimes you got a bite of bbq and sometimes it's was a big glob of peanut sauce. If they mix the sauce together if think it would make it way better. 6/10 The pimento burger had a big onion ring and pimento cheese in the middle of that. The cheese was good but it was only in the of the onion ring so not consistent when eating. 6/10 The onion ring was hard to eat so ended up having to take the onion part out. Now for the fries and chips... the waffles fries are spot on! Every good made fresh. Highly recommend the waffle fries 10/10! The chips I would skip. 0/10 they were old not fresh and hard to chew. we did let Astrid know. She did bring us some new ones, but those were also cold. Hard to chew just felt old. HouseHouse made chips normally should be made to order. It comes with 4 sauces and the cheese sauce was super runny not good at all. The rest of the sauces were good. We also ordered a beer that was nice and cold!! I think with some tweaking which I am sure they will do it's only been open a week. The food will get better. It's not bad but in my opinion can be better. The inside is a great vibe. For sure a great place to come hang out grab a drink and watch a game! I've been meaning to check this place out for a while since it's right in my neighborhood, and I finally stopped in on a Friday night to watch a Suns game with some friends and wow, I'm so glad I did! The staff is super friendly, the place is spotless and stylish, and the TVs are fantastic, honestly way better than Zipps. The seating, service, and overall vibe are also a big step up. I'll admit, the name might make you wonder if it's more of a "ladies' spot," but trust me, it's an awesome neighborhood sports bar and grill for everyone. Totally welcoming, laid-back, and family friendly. It's just a great place to grab food, enjoy a drink (or two), and catch a game in a fun, comfortable atmosphere. Solid 5 stars from me! Writing this fully with love and wanting this place to flourish, that being said let's get to the meat of it. Came with my girlfriend on Sunday and ordered some cauliflower wings and a Coca Cola and the cola was the best part of it. The cauliflower wings were a little gritty and unflavorful and caked in cornstarch to the point where they were also gooey in the middle. Staff was really nice and very accommodating and we really appreciated them for that! Vibes are nice, that's pretty much the best of it!
