The burgers are so good and juicy. The pastrami rueban was fire and lots of meat. The fries were cooked well - I love crisp fries. Our server was super sweet and efficient. She had good recommendations and answered all our questions. It's a very small quaint hole in the wall. With great food good service and fun games. They have pool for $0.75 per game and darts for $1.25 and up per game. We had a great time

I love harveys! I was gone from them for a minute and forgot about how amazing it was! I was asking friends to refer me to the best burgers in AZ & we were ALL in agreement, it's hands down [always harveys]!! The burgers are cooked to perfection [not just by taste, but temperature as well]! I love coming during rush hour to duck traffic! Just gotta get a seat!!! Honestly, probably best burger you'll ever have -and I dont say that lightly.

Prices up only $4 from my last visit 11 years ago. Good solid burger with a faint taste of wine, crispy fries and fresh produce. Only issue is the cook should just turn around and hand food to counter sitters. Bartenders are busy and forget there is food sitting there.

It's off 16th street and Camelback, a little dive bar with the best burgers you will have in Arizona. Chill vibe inside, may take a while for your burger but it's definitely worth the wait. Has a good amount of seating, and 2 pool tables for something to do while you wait. The bartender/waitress was very nice, and attentive to our drinks and needs. Look how big the burgers are...

Fun neighborhood dive bar. Dark interior with dart boards, touch tunes and pool tables. My friend and I sat at the bar, the server was nice and prompt with taking our order. I got the island burger, it was juicy and huge. Their ranch was great too. My friend got the wings and he said they were amazing. Definitely would go back!

Fast service and incredibly delicious food. It's a fun safe dark dive bar with Awesome music.

Aneighborhood bar. I went in on a Sunday to watch the game. There are three tvs in the bar area. They are not huge so choose your seat wisely. I enjoyed watching the grill maestro working his culinary skills. Which motivated me to order a cheese wineburger. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and the cheese of my choice (cheddar please!) Man, that burger was delicious...very flavorful. I looked down, my dag-gum toes were curled. The seasoning on the fries was incredible. There were several drink specials including cold beer. There is upfront and rear parking. Accessible parking and entrance.

Idrove from Chandler to try these burger joint and i was not disappointed. Burgers were amazing, onion rings were amazing. Atmosphere was a prefecture dive bar vibe. Highly recommend.

Now THIS is what a burger should taste like!!!From the first bite to the last, absolute harmony in my mouth. Watched patties be made my hand and each burger cooked to order, lots of attention to detail is what separates this place from the rest. Fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. Looking forward to being back over and over, multiplied by forever. Thank you!!!

This place is a dive bar to say the least. It's loud and the crowd is eclectic and with only one restroom it's not for the faint of heart. But if atmosphere isn't a limiting factor the you'll be impressed by the quality of the burgers. You get a very balanced well seasoned and properly cooked juicy burger with the right amount of meat to bun at a very reasonable price. And the place is open late for those of us whose day doesn't start in the AM. The burgers are a 4 plus and the fries are good enough. Just not great. They do allow those under 21 before 4PM. After 4 it's a bar with burgers. Not a burger place with a bar. They also have 2 pool tables. Did I say it was loud?

Great lil spot! Came for the burgers, stayed for the vibe. We sat right in front of the grill and the chef (blonde hair with tattoos) was amazing! I got a basic cheeseburger with bacon. The burgers are super thick and juicy and overall it was delish! I will def recommend this spot!

Had book marked this spot since they have a bold burger claim of being the best in AZ! And their wings are suppose to be pretty decent too! FYI-It's extremely small inside. It was busy on the Sunday evening when we came in about 5:30 PM. Don't really expect to be welcomed in here as the staff is super busy, so much so that they don't seem to acknowledge people coming through the door.Seat yourself! We waited just a few minutes & were able to find an open area at the bar. Menus provided at the counter, so we browsed the beer selections & went with a Dos Equis & a Wow Beer. We wanted to start with their wings & requested them mixed with their hot & garlic parm which is a popular choice here. They came out piping hot (temperature wise) and they were huge in size! They're good, but could have been just a little more crispy IMO. There's so many great burgers offered on the menu and it was really hard to decide. In speaking with the bartender we went with his two favorites which were the Island and the Garlic Patty Melt. BOTH were excellent. The patty, while being cooked has a splash of red wine added. Hence the name- Winebuger. These burgers are worth the hype and the price. We weren't able to eat them all. There are thick!! The fries were on another level. I'd go as far as to say that they were probably the best I've had in Arizona thus far. It currently beats my last claim elsewhere in another review. I don't know what these fries are cooked in, probably don't want to know either, but they're delicious & memorable! NOTE- It is a very small kitchen with assuming one cook?! You have to be patient with the process. The tickets get backed up, so the staff allows for timeframes so the kitchen can get caught up before placing additional orders. But, do not worry they will keep the drinks flowing! Entertainment consists of: Pool, Jukebox, Darts and believe they have a DJ on certain days and times also. We really enjoyed this drive bar. It's been around since the early 50's and it's got the old bones, decor and chill vibe to prove it. *Suggest if you're able- to get a seat at the bar. You'll have better, more attentive service. Go during off peak hours and park in the back.* Definitely will be returning customers amongst their regulars and look forward to trying the other hamburgers and getting more of those killer fries!

Tatum the bartender came over and took our order, not very friendly but it was decently busy so no biggie, she checked all of our ID's and brought over the first round of drinks. Our actual waitress then comes over and we try to order another round of drinks when she then asked if she could see our ID's to verify and we all gladly gave her the ID's and this is when things go bad. The waitress took our ID's to scan because she wasn't confident that they were real, we agreed but we look over and she's searching in a book and going online to verify if our ID's were real and at that point it had been about 10-15 minutes of her analyzing the ID's and we just told them to cancel our last round and we will just pay the bill and go because we could tell her concern wasn't to find out if they were real but to prove they were fake. Being a neighboring state to Arizona and working a bar you would assume they have experience with California ID's. After everything she tells us we can no longer be served insinuating that our ID's were fake. Not a single other table around us even got their ID checked. And as we looked around we were the only ones who were of color and no one else in that bar were being bothered with their ID's. As I asked for our ID's back and for the bill Tatum gave me plenty of attitude and didn't bother to tell our waitress our request to cancel the order and return our ID's. After everything we were told we could no longer be served because after all that time waiting her scanner randomly didn't want to work. So a bars ID scanner does not work, a light wasn't used to verify the ID and with the use of the internet and book she still couldn't verify our ID's. After everything no manager was called, no reasoning was given to us on why she thought the ID's weren't real and we were told we couldn't be there even after they had served us alcohol. So if our ID's were so suspicious why serve us the alcohol to begin with. If foul play was being done which wasn't on our end it was already done on their end.

Probably not going back to Dick's…read more.. We were visiting both Phoenix and Scottsdale with friends and decided to meet up at Dick's Hideaway for dinner after hearing good things. There were six of us, and we were quoted a 45-minute wait, which seemed reasonable at first. However, their system for managing waits is honestly pretty frustrating. There are no reservations, no text notifications, and no call when your table is ready. You're basically left hovering and guessing. We did make it back in time for our table, but a simple "hey, your table's ready" system would go a long way in making guests feel valued. We were seated around 8 PM after waiting and taken to a large corner booth in the back. Unfortunately, there were still two people from the previous party lingering at the table even after they had paid and the rest of their group had already left. I understand finishing drinks, but it felt inconsiderate given how busy the restaurant was and how long people were waiting. After being seated, it took about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table, and even then, not everyone in our group was acknowledged right away. Things didn't improve much from there. It took over 30 minutes just to place our food order. From what we could tell, there was only one server handling the entire restaurant. I can definitely empathize with how difficult that must be, but at the same time, when we first arrived, she appeared to be standing near the entrance rather than actively managing tables, which added to the confusion. When the food finally came out, it was very staggered instead of arriving together. I ordered the Taos tenderloin with green beans and fries. The sides were actually great--probably the highlight of the meal--but the steak itself was disappointing. I ordered it medium, but it came out with an overly charred, almost burnt crust that completely overpowered the flavor. The whole dish really needed basic seasoning like salt and pepper to bring it together. The atmosphere also didn't do much to help the experience. It's extremely dark inside--so much so that it's hard to see your food--and the space feels cramped. The layout is also pretty strange and honestly a bit off-putting. There's what appears to be a kitchen area right behind the bar, and then a full kitchen in the back--but what really stood out was the lack of separation near the restroom area. There's no proper door between the kitchen and the bathroom space, and from a small step down off the dining area, you can basically see straight into the kitchen if you wanted to. It just didn't feel very private or well thought out. Another thing that stood out was the portion sizes. While some people might see that as a positive, they were honestly too large--especially for those of us traveling who couldn't take leftovers with us. Slightly smaller portions might not only reduce waste but also help the kitchen keep up with demand and improve overall service speed. Overall, this ended up being more of a one-time experience than a place we'd return to. Between the disorganized wait system, slow and inconsistent service, and underwhelming food, it just didn't live up to the expectations we had going in.
