Hey Everyone! Here's MY 411 on Burger Theory. With a little additional background story in case you're also traveling. The Additional FYI Detail: I was a Guest at Holiday Inn & Suites (Phoenix Airport). Burger Theory is who provides Morning Breakfast for the Hotel in a small little Buffet Style serving items such as Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, Country Potatoes, Toast. etc It's truly Basic yet hits all the basic returns of a good breads set up, but it's open to the public and guest of the hotel. (Check Menu, but most important, check Business Dates/Hours). As for Burgers, I have zero info. I actually opted to order their Po'Boy Sandwich. It was actually really good. I wish that I could have had more Shrimp inside the Sandwich, but that wasn't their fault. It covered the whole sandwich, I just wanted more. Cooked to perfection actually. It didn't have a ton of foot traffic inside, but it was good, fast, convenient. The Restaurant had two entrances Handicap Accessibility, Liquor, and I can't say it was super affordable, but that too isn't their fault... Everything is expensive. But I did return for one thing or another 3 Days consecutively. I'd definitely repeat this over and over if I were to venture to Phoenix again. read more

We had dinner here after we got stuck in Phoenix due to a flight delay. I feel kinda bad giving them a mediocre review cause it's a burger joint and I ordered the fish and chips. The bartender was very nice and friendly, but the food was not very good. I don't live in the area, and ate here roughly three years ago. It was really good back then, so I was excited to come back. I was unfortunately very disappointed. Burger (meat) was bland, sauce was over powering, and the bacon was barely fried. I even paid extra for the better meat! Fries and fried pickles just didn't taste right either. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this meal was just bad. read more

We had out of town company visiting and burgers was the craving. We decided to try a new place, but we don't expect to go back. The concept is nice but execution was weak. The highlight was the fries and the bacon on the burgers. The meat is a blend and had a different taste, it wasn't bad - just different. I can't really say why we weren't impressed, we just weren't. Was really looking forward to eating here but in the end left underwhelmed. The problem? Well the bun was dry, plain and simple, and that affected the taste of the chicken sandwich I had ordered. To drive that point home, my partner blurted out "I don't like the bun" in the middle of dinner, so it wasn't only me being put off by the taste of the bread. So why 3 stars then? I walked in on Saturday, February 15 @ 1:56 P.M.. 4 men were seated out on the patio drinking beers, walking inside and 3 people sitting at the bar..and NO one else.. I stood there waiting about 5 minutes, no one appeared, so I saw the restroom and went in there came out, and stood in the dining area....still NO ONE .....so then I asked the lone guy at the bar if there was anyone working and laughed, he shrugged his shoulders and went back to playing video games on his phone. I should have walked but then decided to sit at a booth and see how long before any staff would appear. I have to amuse myself when hungry. In total ,it must have been a good 15 minutes when a waitress saw me and took my order. My "medium RARE" was WELL DONE !! A fair option for lunch burger spot. Although not my first choice the variety and build to your own style make it a middle ground if you're in a party with picky eaters. They have regular beef patties (single or double order), chicken, and veggie/portabello mushroom options. Everything that comes out is cooked to your expectation and absolutely edible. Don't forget to pair with a beer, the burgers are on the smaller side. I ordered the farm fresh burger, the cheese was the highlight that added the saltiness and delivered most of the flavor. The onion rings were huge, fries were crispy, and salad was a standard house salad with a side of ranch. A bit on the pricier side and with so many other options available in the area. read more

We have been eating here for over three years now, and the quality was amazing in the beginning. The biggest juiciest chunks of chicken strips I've ever eaten. Now when we go there, it is utter disappointment, the chicken is half the size that it used to be. The burger was completely dry. And there were five onion rings on our order of onion rings. As well as the fact, we were not even acknowledged when we walked into the restaurant and sat down at the bar. Actually the burger was very good. I liked that they had leaf wraps available for build your own. However the coleslaw was not good, it seemed like something was going bad. I really like this place! The menu is fun. Many different options for premade burgers, salads and soups. But the fun part is make your own burger! You get to chose your protein (veggie patty and portabello's avail for the non meat eater), pick your veggies, cheese, condiments and extras like a fried egg! So they have vegan and veggie options! The service was also great. We stopped on our way to a concert so told our server we were in a hurry and he did not disappoint! Got our food, ate well, paid our check and gone! Side note: there is an affiliation with Holiday Inn which I think is a brilliant concept for travelers. Don't have to eat at the cheezy diner next door or the basic hotel kitchens when traveling. Went here with a friend yesterday for lunch after seeing this place open a few years ago before leaving AZ. I wasn't super hungry, so I struggled with either just getting a soup and fries or a burger. I decided to go with their veggie burger wrapped in lettuce with the boursin cheese. The waitress, who was so nice and attentive despite running the bar and tending to tables, recommended it. When I asked her what the soup of the day was she also recommended it because she had just tried it. It was a tomato based soup with beans, tomatoes, and a sprinkle of onions. She was really sweet to bring me a cup with my meal and it was delicious. The veggie burger was nothing short of amazing. It was cooked just right and had tons of seasoning--so yummy! The cheese made everything pop and I could just go on eating, but my stomach made me stop. The fries were also amazing with a nice hint of salt and crispness! I could've made a meal just out of the fries! Despite the restaurant being a little crowded our waitress was kind and so attentive! I travel for work and was happy to hear that this place was not only in walking distance, but also pretty good. I'm not a huge burger person but hunger got the best of me. I wanted a burger that was on the google menu but when I called they informed me that the menu had changed so I went with the ultimate sriracha instead. It was really good! Flavorful and fresh. We've been here before but today was the worst. Sat down at the bar while bartender was chatting with another couple. We sat here and watched 2 separate people sit down and then leave while she continued to talk. 3-5 minutes later, she came to take our order. She put it in the computer then went back to talking with the couple. Didn't pour our drinks, just chatted until I stood up. I've heard such great things about this burger joint- so I stopped by for lunch. They weren't too busy, which was nice. I appreciated they had indoor and outdoor seating as well as the bar open. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress on shift at the time. It took a long time to get even water for the table. The chef even came out to help check on guests due to them being short staffed. After finally receiving our drinks and orders, which came out almost at the same time- I was pleased that the meals looked great. We ordered the sriracha wings and a build your own burger with fries. With a group of 8. My wife and daughter ordered fish and chips while everybody else got burgers. They bring out the burgers and waitress looks at my daughter and says the fish and chips are on their way. My wife says "mine too"? And she walks away. Comes back with one order and my wife asks about hers and she says "sorry, we're out". Like WTF? Did they think we would just not notice we were missing something? Why did she not come back when she placed the order and let us know? What would possess them to wait u til everybody had their food to ask if we wanted something else instead? Then the waitress actually started arguing with us that it wasn't her fault. True, not her fault they were out but 100% her fault for waiting until everybody in the group had their food before she said anything. My blue cheese burger was not good. My burger was cooked exactly how I asked for it to be cooked and was very tasty! The fries were also seasoned very well and piping hot like they were as fresh as can be. The burger itself was overly messy and not in a good way. There was a slab of that cheese that made the burger turn into mush after my first bite. Ever bite was destroying one full napkin to clean my hands off. I attempted to eat it deconstructed but half way through I gave up. My guest wasn't impressed with her meal as well. I ended up only eating a handful of fries and half of that burger. My guest got hers to go and we gave what was left to a homeless person. At least I can say we tried it!
