Visited today for the first time. I ordered the All American burger with onion rings off the lunch menu and it was solid. My only change would be the potato bun. It fell apart and there are better options out there. The onion rings are very good and worth the small up-charge. Even though they are not fresh cut in house, they might be the best frozen onion rings I have ever had. The fries were also pretty good (I do prefer a crinkle cut though). Huge beer selection and the Stella draft was great. Overall, this is a very good option for a quick lunch before a Cardinals game or a Dodgers game at Camelback ranch. After a recent burger letdown elsewhere, this restored my faith in ground beef. Perfectly pink, insanely juicy, cheese melting everywhere like it understood the assignment. The spicy mayo had a sneaky kick that absolutely worked with everything instead of overpowering it. In short: great service, cocktails with personality, and a burger that deserves a standing ovation. From my visit on 2/1/2025. Walked in and not too loud, and not too busy but seemed like a laidback spot. Could hear mild chatter and the TVs around the restaurant. I love the food here, but service is hit or miss in the main dining area. And I don't understand why. It's never busy when I go there. Seems like there's usually a couple servers sitting down together and chatting the entire time I'm there. I usually don't leave bad reviews. I try to give the business the benefit of the doubt. We go to this Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers about once a month. The food is good and the service is usually great. Today that was not the case. There were less than 20 people there for lunch. Our server took our orders. Mine was a Chicken Sandwich with Cheese, plain and add mushrooms. After approximately 20 minutes, our sandwiches came and mine was completely wrong. It was anything but plain, so I waited about 10 minutes to get our server's attention. I explained what was wrong with the sandwich and she took it back to the kitchen to get remained. After about 10 minutes, the server came back to verify what I wanted in the sandwich (plain with cheese, add mushrooms). Fast forward 20 minutes, my friends have finished their meals and mine finally shows up. It's wrong again. This time they forgot the cheese. I asked the server ti just bring me a piece of cheese. When it came time to pay, there were two sandwiches in my bill, and a double charge for mushrooms. My $11.99 lunch special came to over $30.00. More than 15 minutes later, when the server came to collect our payments, I pointed out the error and asked to have the bill corrected. She blamed the mistake on the manager and went to get it corrected. 10 minutes later, when she brought the corrected bill, ans we asked to have the manager come speak with us. Well, we waited another 25 minutes and the manager never came. We finally gave up and began to leave the restaurant. Near the door there was a gentleman working and I asked if he was the manager. He said he was and I asked why he never came over to the table. He said he was never told of the situation. I attempted to share the details of our dining experience, and he simply apologized. We left and will have to think twice if we return. I work in customer service, as a General Manager, and we serve an average of 500 customers a day. If anyone on my team ever treated customers like this they'd get the opportunity to seek new employment. We like Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers, but if the experience is this bad with a minimum number customers, what will happen when they're busy? read more

Came here for the Father's Day BOGO special. Took awhile to be seated and could tell they were understaffed but the dining room wasn't even half filled. Server finally took our order but then disappeared for about 15 minutes. Another waitress eventually had to bring our drinks after they were sitting on the bar for so long. Finally got our meals and my children's order was wrong. We finally got the correct meal as we were finishing up and he had filled himself with our food while waiting. It is a sports bar restaurant so it was kind of loud but we were ok with that! There was about 8 people in our group and was sat quickly. First of all I've been to cold beers and cheeseburgers about six times two of the times were terrible one was not that great and the other two were okay. Came for draft day and expected it would be busy. Apparently the restaurant did not because they were understaffed. Walking to the bathroom I saw at least 5 or 6 tables open. Both patios were also closed. But there was a 30 minute wait. We still ended up staying which I won't make that mistake again.
