What a great place for breakfast this morning! This was our first time at eggstasy and it was delicious. Being in my mom era, any place that has a good and affordable kids menu is a hit for us! Not only is it great for families it's delicious too!! I ordered a berry crepe with yogurt and honey and it was soooo good! The service was amazing! We had just come from a bad experience at a restaurant across the way where we didn't end up eating, and were welcomed at eggstasy with a very friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and very cute, and had a working AC (which seems wild to state the obvious, but the restaurant across the way was hot hot hot inside). I love the name of this establishment but I did not have an orgasm while dining here. I had a breakfast panini which came with a skewer of fruit. As of this writing, this chain is on InKind's selection. I advise waiting for Costco's sale of InKind's gift cards which gives you a 65% discount on 190+ restaurants in the greater Phoenix valley. With the discount and tip, I paid $14.02 for my meal. I'd say that the meal and service were average, but at least I got it for a great price. read more

I was rather unimpressed with this breakfast spot. My meal was a basic breakfast plate (eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast) and everything (with the exception of my over medium eggs) was undercooked. I had asked for bacon well done and had to send it back because I can't do the texture of the fat in the bacon. The hash browns are the same that you'd find at any basic café but priced higher. The fresh squeezed OJ was the highlight of my meal. Our server was pleasant and prompt. With so many brunch options in the Phoenix area, I highly doubt i will return to this location. read more

Eggstasy is in a word, solid. Lavazza is in the house, so the coffee was on point and brewed perfectly. My dietary restrictions meant that I had to make 'good choices' and the substitutions on the 2 egg breakfast made enjoyment and compliance possible. My only comments would be that the raspberry on my fruit shiskabab was moldy and the sourdough bread was a little under toasted (though of good quality). Minor points of order. Our table of 5 was served fairly quickly and our waitress was very attentive. The venue wasn't too loud and you're not sitting on top of other guests and crammed in. Overall it was a good 'solid' experience. To get seats at a breakfast place at 7.30am on the weekend was a blessing. I know Eggstasy is relatively new (approx 1yr old) but I'm sure word will get out that this is a good quality venue with reasonablish downtown prices. read more

I was disappointed in my first experience at Eggstasy. I made and confirmed a reservation earlier on the week for my party of 10 on Sunday. When I arrived, I told them my name and that I had a reservation and they said it wasn't in the system. I offered a confirmation number but that wasn't helpful for them as they weren't prepared. We finally get seated and our server seemed overwhelmed. I don't think she or the restaurant is good with handling large parties. Our drink orders were wrong, some never made it out, and most of us didn't op for a second drink either because of the bad service or we didn't care for the drink. The espresso martini was notably too sweet. Our food did come out quickly once we put the order in and the table seemed to enjoy it. I got eggs benedict with hashbrowns and they were delicious. Other noteworthy mentions: - It was quite warm in the restaurant - it was way too loud. Hard for us to hear each other - it felt like there were either too many people charge or nobody was in charge. More likely the latter. - the online reservation portal doesn't have a way for you to choose which location you want. I had a follow up email correspondence to confirm it was for the 7th st and Missouri location. At the time that I went a couple of months ago, they had the temperature of the place cold similar to how it was outside, which made me question if they turned on their heat. So I strategically moved to another place in the restaurant, away from doors and closer to the kitchen to be warm (and I still had my jacket on). The wait staff was a bit less attentive that I would have hoped. She would clean in the bar-type area and then would check on us. The veggie omelette, which I ordered, was very nondescript. Customer service not it. Our server/waitress did not offer us refills, did not check up on how everything was, even when we were done we had to call her over to get the check. We had to ask for refills,ketchup,tabasco. I honestly felt discriminated because she had two other tables that the customers were white(I'm brown) and they even arrived after us and she was more attentive to them than she was to us. I feel like we were not treated the same and I didn't like how I was made feel out of place by trying a new place. The chilaquiles and gyro plate was good and big portion sizes. Server was nice and attentive. I ordered a skillet with over medium eggs, they came out over hard i asked for them to be replaced server had no problem asking for the replacemen. The manager was in the back cooking i seen myself the waiter go back and ask where my eggs were after waiting for 5 minutes. The portion sizes were high though and you get your bang for your buck. My skillet came with my choice of pancake, waffle, or crepe. Our waitress was nice. Just a warning, but the portions are huge for their omelette so if you do get an omelette it's shareable for 2 people. I'd say the omelette was lacking in flavor. It was just egg, there wasn't a wow factor. I'd say the eggs are made without seasoning. You get some of the flavors from the items on top of the egg, like cheese and meat. We went to get breakfast on Saturday around 11:30am. My husband wanted a michelada, but they had already ran out of beer, which seems crazy since it's the first day of prime time brunch hours. Getting our food took very long, like 30+ minutes. The scene felt very chaotic and the staff was all over the place and inconsistent with their designated areas/responsibilities and there seemed to be a lot of crossover between taking orders, dropping off and handling the bar area. I have never been to Eggstasy before but I have seen them around multiple locations in the Valley. I was excited so see a new location right across my Pilates studio so I was keeping an eye out for their grand opening. I randomly messaged them on instagram yesterday asking when they would open and found out that their first day was today so I stopped by for a quick lunch. The place is located at The Colony. There is parking at the front, side and back of the building. There is ample table seating and also a bar area. There is a very small bar area outside that may be a nice option once the weather cools down. The hostess was very polite as well as my server Spencer. The menu is extensive and a bit overwhelming however everything sounded delicious, I opted for the strawberry salad. The salad came out so fast I was impressed. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and the portion size was nice. The bread had walnuts and some kind of raising which was quite tasty. I liked that the menu had some healthier options as well in case you are looking for less indulgent food. Despite being their first day open there was good amount of people. This is a great addition to the neighborhood and I really look forward to coming back again to try breakfast or their sandwiches or soup. read more
