We came here on a whim when we were in town as the menu looked great. What an awesome decision this was. Upon entering the whole place has a 'mood' to it that feels cozy and homey and welcoming. The staff is so hospitable from the start that you feel like you're meant to be there. Smell of breakfast and coffee fills the air. We were seated immediately and within literally a few seconds our server brought us menus and some water, offering coffee. We opted for different drinks as we had coffee already and got them fairly quick. Our server accommodated our menu questions and even brought a special menu that listed whether foods had dairy or not. We got our food in maybe 5-10 minutes which felt fast. Despite the restaurant being completely full, and not a single spot in the parking lot, everything in First Watch felt as if it was a finely tuned well running machine - because it is. Dang, the meal was incredible! Seriously the best breakfast I have had, possibly ever. The bacon was crispy and dry, just as I love it, eggs were perfect, toast was fresh and flavorful (which is odd to write about toast) and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned, not overly but just right. We loved First Watch so much we sought it out in Tucson which was our next stop on the trip.

While on travel, I woke up wanting a good breakfast. We have a First Watch in Maryland that I've never visited so I thought I would try Phoenix location. I ordered the Waffle meal with scrambled eggs w/cheese and bacon and a side of turkey sausage. It was a very breakfast, but I'd prefer my cheese scrambled in my eggs and not just on top. Otherwise, it was very good. My eyes were bigger than my belly so I was unable to eat it all. Definitely recommend the waffle meal. I ordered through Door Dash, so I have no knowledge of the restaurant decor/ambiance.

I love the view of the restaurant

First Watch is always a perfect spot for a cozy and satisfying brunch. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs cooked just right, and the avocado toast was creamy and delicious. Their fresh juices were light, refreshing, and the perfect match for brunch. And the Blueberry Lemon Cornbread... wow. It was absolutely amazing. Warm, moist, and packed with juicy blueberries, with a bright hint of lemon that made every bite so comforting and not overly sweet. Topped with that soft, melty butter mix with lemon in the butter , it was honestly the highlight of the meal and a must-try if you visit. Friendly service, warm atmosphere, and consistently great food . First Watch never disappoints.

I ordered the power breakfast quinoa bowl and it was such an underrated dish!! I was prepping for an upcoming trip so needed something that didn't put me to sleep. This gave me lots of every and kept me full all day! The mushrooms were delicious, along with the crunch of the kale. I would get this again. The service was friendly, and I enjoyed First Watch's usual homey feels.

My party and I, thought that this place was very cute and cozy. And the food was incredible. But we felt the service was slightly slow and they forgot something that we ordered.

We came here the day we arrived in Phoenix because it was close to where we were staying and needed something filling. First Watch is a reliable chain with consistent brunch quality in its locations. This location has a ton of seating, but the parking lot is small. We came in on a Saturday of a holiday weekend and there wasn't a wait! Our server was friendly, attentive, and quick. I ordered the elevated egg sandwich with seasoned potatoes on the side. The sandwich was good, especially since I was expecting an overcooked egg, but the yolk ran when I cut it in half, making it a bit messy to eat but nothing too bad. The other toppings were nice and balanced, so the sandwich didn't feel too heavy. It's a filling sandwich and great for when you've come from a flight. The potatoes were nice but a bit too salty.

Great brunch spot! Came on a Sunday, didn't even wait, was seated right away. Tables were clean and already set pretty quickly, and the servers were friendly and efficient Servers were friendly and food came out quick. I ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict. I mean, put a hollandaise sauce and an avocado on anything, and the whole dish just tastes delicious! We sat outside, the weather was perfect for it. Plenty of parking too.

There's a good reason people are waiting outside to get in on the weekends. Homemade breakfast and lunch served quickly with ample portions. The variety of healthy items made this spot suitable for vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free diners. The giant pancakes, breakfast tacos and eggs Benedict were the favs. Slight alterations to entrées were welcomed with a smile and servers kept the hot coffee and tea coming! There are some great unique healthy juice offerings as well!

The food is good but today while having a late breakfast here we had an unusual experience. I've been here a handful of times and it's always uneventful (which is a good thing). I enjoy the options here and how it's a bit healthier as you get a side with your eggs Benedict and I feel like the food here never leaves me feeling too weighed down. Today, however, I was yelled at by your server, Lauren when discussing the tea options with my child. At first I thought, perhaps I'm being sensitive but then I noticed what a difference there was in the tone after this one interaction. I even left without leaving a tip as I refuse to tip a person who speaks at me if I was their child when I wasn't even speaking to her, to begin with. I probably won't be eating at this First Watch again.

We actually booked it on a whim that same afternoon while looking for somewhere with reservations. I didn't realize at first that it was the striking A-frame building we've driven past several times and always wondered about. Once we pulled in, everything clicked--and what a beautiful place. The architecture is stunning, the setting feels tucked away and peaceful, and parking was easy with plenty of space available. We were seated immediately at a corner table surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, which made the entire experience feel bright and inviting. One detail that really stood out to me was the quality of the restaurant itself. Even the tables were heavy, solid, and beautifully made. It sounds like a small thing, but those thoughtful details made the space feel intentional and elevated. The food was absolutely to die for. Every dish at the table impressed us, the cocktails were excellent, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared without being pretentious. It struck that perfect balance of upscale while still feeling warm and comfortable. From the beautiful architecture to the incredible food and welcoming atmosphere, Oliver's completely exceeded our expectations. We'll absolutely be back, and next time it won't be on a whim--it'll be a destination.

The bartenders are amazing however we are sad our normal peeps have left. Tonight Sean KILLED it with us and so glad he was still there since first meeting him on Halloween. Honestly the reason for 4 stars is the fact the drunken wifey is gone and the 3% credit card fee. We have been coming here for a little over 5 years and never had to pay that. Wild change and slightly bs. You already charge a lot for food and drinks (increases over the years are noticeable with management changes) but when you always have a rather large bill usually $700-sometimes over $1000 depending on the kind of evening we're having it is going to be very noticeable. A change like that needs to be more obvious, minus a little print at the bottom of the menu. No one even noticed (since we really didn't need the menu to order) nor did our server. It truly makes me want to give you a three star but I can't discredit the hard working staff and people in the kitchen, as it is clearly the change of new management and the "rebuild" from the beginning of the year. It speaks volumes to a group that has been dedicated to the Americano since March of 2020 and now makes us wonder if it's time to move onto a different restaurant.

Loved this place!…read more First, we had to change our reservation, and the host could not have been nicer. On a busy Saturday night, he graciously allowed us to push it back by an hour, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed. The jungle theme, leopard prints, intimate booths, and dramatic overhead lighting created a fun, unique atmosphere. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was a hit. My son said it may have been the best steak tartare he's ever had (although neither of us was a fan of the plantain chips). It was certainly the best tartare I've had in a very long time, with generous chunks of high-quality steak instead of being overly minced. The baked brie dip was outstanding, the grilled oysters were excellent, and my New York strip was cooked perfectly. My only small criticism is that the oyster appetizer came with just three oysters. For a $19 appetizer, I'd love to see at least four. An even number also makes sharing much easier, although my son generously let me have the extra one! Overall, this is a fantastic concept with great food, great service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

We called about half hour before and made a reservation by phone. I was disappointed that my first order choice of the Seabass was unavailable and my second choice of lamb chops was also unavailable. Not sure if this is because it was a Sunday night and/or we made the reservation immediately before showing up. They were also out of the Melted Cast-Iron Brie Small Plate that we were excited about ordering for the table. We loved this restaurant because of the dark and jungle-themed interior. We were excited to see the bold taxidermy featuring the large cats combined with the ornate, gold- framed dapper animal art hanging on the walls. Another reason to love this spot: hidden inside is an entrance to a secret cocktail lounge, or speakeasy, called "Drop Dead Gorgeous." We also appreciated the entire restaurant centering around a glowing, raw wood-fire cooking pit. We could hear and watch our entrées being prepared. What we didn't love so much: the items that we would've liked to have ordered were unavailable. The price to portion ratio in the small bites could also be improved a bit. Great service from our waitress throughout the evening. We ordered: - Fire Roasted Bone Marrow for the table (3/5) - sourdough toast, jalapeño marmalade with demi. I was so excited to try bone marrow for the first time. It was interesting. Sort of like a mix between butter and fat from a steak. It tasted really good with the spicy jalapeño jelly and bread provided. I expected us to be warm and it came out cold. Still not sure if I like it or not. Maybe I'll give it a second try - White Oak Grilled Chicken Skewers (4/5) - served with shiso leaves, kimchi, shishito peppers. kosho aioli, lemon aioli, ssamjung for the table - Very yummy. We enjoyed these. We had actually changed our mind right after initially putting in the milk bread order for the table and they brought out the milk bread so quickly that our waitress said she would give this to us on the house. - Milk Bread for the table (4/5) - miso tomato butter, almond & Kalamata. Even though we changed our mind and got this sent to our table accidentally, I would order this again. It was very delicious and it comes out as an adorable little tomato shaped and colored milk bread with the toppings looking like the stem on top. So tasty and everybody loved it. A little small for our party of five. - Lemongrass Half Chicken (5/5) - Caramelized carrots, kyoto roasted garlic, mashed potatoes & jalapeno jam. Hubs loved this. He said everything was delicious and went well together. - Bomba Rice x2 (5/5) - Risotto, shrimp, linguica, chicken, piquillo peppers, green peas, kosher aioli & Parmesan. My son and his girlfriend both ordered this and said it was very good. - Shishito Caesar Salad add Chicken Skewers (5/5) - bonito, charred shishito peppers, ricotta salata, tapioca chicharron & togarashi. My daughter ordered this and said it was very good. - Spicy Peanut & Tomato Salad add Chicken Skewers (5/5) - peanut dressing, heirloom tomato, baby gem, daikon radish, onion, mala chile, whipped queso de cabra & sour nut. YUMMMM What a creative and unique salad! So glad I tried it. It has unique flavors that work well with each other and a crunch. There's also some heat that goes along with the salad. I was able to withstand it. My son would probably say it's not spicy at all. I'll be craving this salad for months to come. - Dad or Daddy Specialty Cocktail - bright, buzzed & stoned vodka, apricot liqueur, Riesling cordial, ginger, lime, topped with Red Bull Peach Edition (White Peach) - Fruity Mocktail - I asked the waitress if they had any mocktails and she asked me what I liked and gave me examples. Based on what I told her she brought me out a delicious fruity mocktail topped with fresh mint. Parking along the street at metered parking or in parking garage nearby. A few streets away from Tempe Town Lake.

The wedge salad was crisp and bright, elevated by thoughtful ingredients like jalapeño bacon and balsamic onions. The crab dip was a standout: packed generously with crab and complemented by just the right amount of cheese, finely chopped red onions, and crispy breadcrumbs. We ended the evening with St. George Absinthe, an absolute gem of an offering. Jake, Brad, and Stormy were kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations without ever feeling pushy or intrusive. We were able to truly enjoy each other's company while feeling genuinely cared for by the staff. Parking in the garage next door was graciously validated at the host stand. We left feeling full, impressed, and already looking forward to returning with family.
