Plus, I LOVE juicy chicken! I received a promotion that was too good to pass up, so I stopped by to try this restaurant. The experience from the ordering, the restaurant, the customer service, and of course, the food and drinks was a 10/10! I couldn't have had it any better. I learned that all chicken dishes could be ordered with no spice or honey butter (or honey rub) with 0 SHU. They also have mild (10K SHU), buffalo (25K SHU), medium (30K SHU), and then the actual hot options, including spicy (150K SHU), Lift-Off (500K SHU), and "Houston, We have a Problem" (2M SHU & more). I decided I wanted to try some spice, though the honey butter was right up my alley. I ended up ordering the Sandwich & Tender Meal, consisting of a juicy chicken sandwich, a single tender, fries or coleslaw (I chose fries), and some house sauce. I also ordered a strawberry hibiscus house lemonade. Everything came out perfectly and was so tasty. I also really appreciated the customer service of the team behind the register. The cashier gave me wonderful advice for what to try, her own favorite dishes and drinks, and what goes well with what. The nearby manager also answered a question or two and was very helpful. My order was also packaged up well so that I could take it to go even though the dining room had plenty of seating along with ordering kiosks. The decor was clear, and the random pictures with chickens featured were classic. This particular location is open Sunday through Wednesday from 10 AM to 12 Midnight and Thursday through Saturday from 10 AM to 1 AM. You can go to their website to order food online for pick-up, catering, or delivery (via Door Dash, GrubHub, or Uber Eats). They have a special prep process that keeps the meat juicy. The bun was soft and fresh and the sauce had a slightly "warm" flavor. Nothing wild, and it complimented the chicken nicely. Yum! When I got home I looked at my computer and it appears the order didn't submit after all. It was all my mistake, but the team at Ike's was so nice and went out of there way when I was there.
