Came for a Subday brunch with family and it was a cute spot. I wish I knew this before, but they could substitute any eggs in your order with egg whites with no additional charge!! Which would've been super nice to know before I placed my order (the Three Cheese Mushroom Frittata). My order was yummy, surprisingly very filling (I think I underestimated the cheese when I ordered), and my family mostly said the same about their orders as well. They ordered a Breakfast Burrito, Mac & Cheese, and Avocado Toast with Eggs. I ordered the Matcha latte which was alright -- I wasn't wowed with this one, and I feel like the price didn't really match it for me. You could also tell a bit by the color in the picture I attached. My sister's Honey Cinnamon Latte was pretty good. What I did really love was the pastries! We unfortunately only got one (the Pistachio Cruffin), but it was really good! Their whole pastry section looked and sounded amazing, I was excited when I saw their selection. If they all tasted as good as the Pistachio Cruffin, then their pastries would be the highlight! Would love to come back and try them at some point :)

Went here because I wanted soup for breakfast and I got just that at 9am! I ordered half sandwich Blt and Italian wedding soup, both were fresh and filling. I had a helpful cashier and friendly staff all round. Since it was early morning it wasn't too crowded and very clean and hip atmosphere.

Use Wildflower as our main catering. Great sandwiches, salads, cookies. I walked into their store front for the first time. Cashier was super personable & helpful with my to go order. Very cool dining room and outdoor patio space. Great convenient location as well.

You MUST get the pistachio "CRUFFIN" crossaint muffin. One of my favorite pastry's ever!!! Just trust me. Also enjoyed the BLT (wow, amazing) and this Citrus Beet salad (so balanced, fresh, tasteful of flavor). I wish there was a Wildflower in Texas. Next time I'm in Arizona, I'll be back here!

This place is very cute on the inside, perfect for a quick bite or friends gathering. Food is average and a bit overpriced! My friends and I came here after church last Sunday. I noticed they had a pick 2, kind of like Panera bread! You get a soup and half salad. I chose the Potato Cream Cheese soup (they have select soups you can choose from each day written on a chalkboard behind the registers) and one of their half salads which legit was like a couple leaves of lettuce. I couldn't believe how skimpy it was... I was shocked. My meal was very good (even the salad surprisingly), I loved the garnish of maybe paprika on the soup (?) it was delicious. My meal was $13. It filled me up pretty averagely, and I was able to finish it all. Not sure if it was worth it but really a fan of the soup!

I love this spot! The atmosphere is bright, open, and perfect for hanging out with friends or just enjoying a relaxing meal outside. The patio seating with all the greenery makes it feel really inviting and laid-back. The food is fresh and delicious. I tried the breakfast bowl with quinoa, veggies, and perfectly cooked eggs on top--super filling and flavorful without being heavy. The breakfast sandwich was also a hit, with fluffy eggs, greens, and savory sausage tucked inside a soft bun. Paired with fresh OJ, it was the perfect start to the day. The service was great, and everything came out quickly even though it was busy. Between the food, the drinks, and the vibe, it really lives up to the saying on their door: "Good times poured here." Definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

Best meal I've had in a long time. 5/5 stars on food taste & quality, staff and ambience. The staff were SO NICE and patient. There were outlets at a lot of the booths and seating which was perfect because I popped in here while working. Going to have to visit every time I'm in town. I got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Which came with chips and bread. Then the elote, a side of beets and a fresh squeezed orange juice.

Shout out to Curtis, alondra, Louis and Chef Vacy( hope I spelled it right) When this team is working it's always Great Food, Great service and Atmosphere here at the Crown location. They always great everyone with a smile and warmth. We can always count on Wuality control from everyone and super consistent food and service. Still hand down one of our favorite places to sit, catch up on daily things and unwind. Thank you to the great team at Wildflower!!

Thank you for being open on Super Bowl Sunday! The triple club is my favorite on the menu. It never disappoints with the variety of textures and flavors. I love the Mango Thai Lemonade!

I was at work and wanting to grab lunch with a coworker, she suggested this place as she likes it and I have never been. We did a group order online, for the two of us, and requested our pickup time be 13:15. We arrived a few minutes early, but our order was ready! We brought our food back to eat at work, and they use nice to go containers that they put in a nice paper bag. We both got sandwiches with chips and a cookie on the side. Other coworkers saw us eating in the breakroom and we told them we lived together as the to go containers were that nice. I got the Turkey & Brie sandwich just the way it comes, minus tomatoes. The meal was filling, so I saved my Chocolate, Hazelnut & Sea Salt Cookie for my afternoon snack. This was my first-time having brie that I can recall and one of the few times I left the roasted red peppers on. We did not really interact with the staff, but they were pleasant and courteous when we arrived and they gave us our food. I will definitely be back for lunch sometime.

Worst pesto pasta I've ever eaten. The pasta was swimming in green sauce that was supposed to be pesto sauce. I had to spoon out the excess sauce in a cup. It was so bad that I couldn't even finish it. I highly doubt that I would recommend this dish nor the place to anyone. The food gave me a stomach ache.

Is the patio still dog friendly (I only saw one mention in a review from 5 months ago)? Also are your beers on tap and if so how many taps are there and are they posted anywhere on line?

Yes to dog friendly. 3 beers on tap one is papago orange blossom. Red and white wines, sparkling wine for mimosas, Tito's for bloody marys. Not sure if they're online

And PLENTY of options which is much appreciated. We all enjoyed our drinks, pretty to the eye and going down the hatch haha (espresso martini not on happy hour-see menu) We didn't get food but damn their ribs smelt so good, I have to come back for that. Plus, you can still order ice cream and I think that's so amazing and they look like they have so many delicious flavors. I want to try that as well. Service was awesome and friendly. Our waitress came back around before the happy hour ended to get any last-minute orders and that was really appreciated. You don't get that often or ever. I love the feel of the bar. Valentine -- Phoenix, AZ…read more A group of us went to dinner at Valentine last night, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. We were greeted and seated promptly, and our servers were absolutely wonderful. The drinks and food were both top-notch, and the ambiance was calm, atmospheric, and romantic without feeling stuffy. The food was easily a 10/10. Everything was so unique, flavorful, and made with such high-quality ingredients. You can really tell there's a lot of thought put into the menu. After dinner, we were escorted over to their lounge next door for a nightcap and listening party, which was such a fun addition to the evening. We loved the experience so much that when our waiter mentioned they also serve breakfast, we came back the very next day to try the breakfast menu for the first time! And WOW -- breakfast did not disappoint. We tried the Sonoran dog with roe, tres leches French toast, steak and eggs, and the tamale bowl. Everything was amazing, but the Sonoran dog with roe was LIFE CHANGING. I would highly recommend either the steak and eggs or the Sonoran dog. The French toast was delicious, but I was glad we had some heartier dishes to balance it out. And I can't forget the thrift store! It's absolutely adorable, and I especially loved all of the crochet blankets. Between the food, service, atmosphere, lounge experience, and all the little details, Valentine is such a special place. We had such a great experience that we literally came back the next morning -- I think that says it all. 10/10 and highly recommend!

We had a reservation, but there were several tables open, so we probably would have been find. They have a complimentary lot, but it's not that big. Thankfully, I was able to find a spot. Ambiance (4/5): Valentine is a charming restaurant. Relatively small but comfortable. They have an open kitchen and there are also some couches in addition to your typical seating. We sat at a two-person table. It was a little small, but it was fine. And it was a little hot inside. Something to be mindful of, especially during August in Phoenix. Service (4.5/5): The service throughout was great. Attentive, efficient, and friendly. Our waiter did well taking care of us. No complaints. Drinks (4.5/5): Valentine has a nice wine and cocktail list. I ended up going with a Chilean wine. Potentially the first time I've had wine from Chile. My dining partner liked her cocktail. Food (4/5): We started off with the Sonoran what pretzel as an appetizer. It's served with whipped hen butter and honey comb which is an interesting take. A little mix of sweet and savory. And hey, I'll take a healthier pretzel every day of the week as long as it still tastes good. It did. Crispy on the exterior and soft on the inside just as you hope. One of their most popular starters. From there, I had the elote pasta which is their most popular dish. The presentation is awesome. The pasta is made to look like corn on the cob. And this was my first time having elote pasta. I love elote and I love pasta, so I was excited to try this fusion. Sadly, while not bad, both me and my friend agreed that it could have been better. We appreciated the creativity, including the dry corn kernels sprinkled on top, but the sauce was just too dry. It needed more creaminess to take it to where it could be. Pro tip: Valentine has a speakeasy inside of their restaurant. Stop by afterwards for a night cap. You can get in either through the restaurant or through the back. Our waiter took us there after our meal. It's called Bar 1912.

It is beautiful, spacious, and has two floors! The setting is clearly above your usual brunch spots and the booths offer a more intimate experience. My party and I were privileged to sit in direct view of the open kitchen. We got to see and hear the kitchen staff working together and communicating smoothly. We even heard the "hands" announcements like you see on The Bear TV show! I believe the food here was on par with the West Hollywood location, so points for consistency. Unfortunately, I have the same qualms for flavor for their dishes. I tried the short rib pot stickers, the tortilla soup, and the Bolognese pasta. I would say that the flavors were not especially strong for each dish. I think they each needed a pinch of extra seasoning to really make their flavors pop! Moreover, I tried my girlfriend's Rigatoni Alla Vodka and the cheese had no taste! Nevertheless, the dishes were beautiful. Lastly, I had a bit of an issue with our service. Our server passed by our table multiple times as we tried to flag her down to ask for the check. I think she could have been more attentive especially in the context of this higher-end brunch spot. With all of these factors combined, it's an overall 4/5 for me.

We came in to celebrate a birthday as a group of four, and unfortunately, we all left feeling pretty underwhelmed. As a group, we agreed it's not somewhere we'd return to. Let's start with the positives! The restaurant itself is beautiful, cozy, and warm. It's also very tiny and has an open kitchen, and since we were seated pretty close to it, you definitely feel the heat. A couple of my friends were actually a little too warm throughout dinner. The service was spectacular! Our wine recommendations were stellar I tried three different kinds and all were a 5/5. The ice cream sandwich?! Insanely delicious. If it's on the menu when you go, get it!! We ordered one and immediately had to order another because it was that good. My friends and I practically ordered the entire menu, and unfortunately, the main entrees were where the disappointment came in. We ordered the roasted chicken ($33) and bavette ($55), and neither really stood out to us. The bavette had a chewy texture, while the chicken felt a little too plain. I expected the sauces and toppings to bring more flavor, but they didn't quite come together the way I was hoping. Ironically, we found the vegetable dishes to be much more flavorful and memorable than the proteins. For the price point, I'd expect everything to be at that same level. A couple of other things also left a bad taste. We were accidentally charged for a drink we never ordered, and after calling twice to get it corrected, I still haven't received a response. We also noted that we were celebrating a birthday, and our host mentioned that we'd be "taken care of," which made us think there would be some sort of birthday acknowledgment even something as simple as a complimentary dessert. Unfortunately, there wasn't which is totally fine but it was just brought up multiple times by staff which leaves you with a hope that something special is coming when it isn't lol Overall, I'm really glad I finally got to experience Restaurant Progress and can check it off my list, but I think the anticipation was better than the actual experience. The service, wine, and ice cream sandwich were definitely highlights, but the food and overall experience just didn't live up to the expectations I had going in.
