I usually always order the BLT Eggs Benedict; it's probably my favorite breakfast item they serve. However, the picture on the seasonal menu looked so good I had to give it a try: tender steak, potatoes, peppers, and onions, topped with feta, eggs, and a vibrant, garlicky green chimichurri sauce. Pancake wasn't fluffy. These are things you expect at an IHOP or Denny's. Served apologized but it's not her fault. She blamed inflation. First Watch CEO had a $11.5 million dollar compensation package this year. It's not inflation. It's companies serving low quality ingredients at crazy prices. We visited First Watch today with a party of seven and were seated right away at the community table, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the service was slow. It took quite a while for our server to even take care of us. Throughout the meal, the server (Sol) came across as rude, even rolling her eyes at us multiple times, and we often had to flag her down. We were left without water refills and waiting for boxes. The food quality was uneven. Most of the breakfast potatoes were burnt, and the biscuits and gravy weren't very good. At the end, I mentioned our concerns to the manager, but the response felt kinda dismissive. We came in expecting a nice brunch, but left feeling disappointed. They took it off the menu but it can still be ordered. My husband ordered the steak hash. I wasn't in the mood for that much flavor variety (mistake). We were both only eating half our breakfast - but I finish the other half of his so delicious hash since it wouldn't reheat as easily as the omelette. There are so many great breakfast restaurants around Phoenix, though when it comes to First Watch, I have learned it is a chain of breakfast restaurants that is consistent, offers great food, and has some wonderful deals here and there. While I typically frequent other First Watch locations, my wife and I stopped here yesterday morning on the way to do some errands in the area. This was our first time visiting this location. It had a large indoor seating area as well as outdoor seating. The waiting area inside was rather small with overflow to outside. The staff were nice and welcoming. First Watch serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They have a Jump Start menu with unique dishes along with a juice bar, iced coffee, breakfast cocktails, healthier side dishes, EGG-sclusives, omelettes & frittatas, from the griddle items, power bowls, salads, sandwiches, a kids' menu, and small plates and sides. My wife and I chose to each get one of the two classic favorites on the menu. My wife ordered the Traditional, which includes two cage-free eggs any style with your choice of bacon, smoked ham, chicken sausage patties, turkey or pork sausage links, and it is served with whole grain artisan toast, all-natural house preserves and fresh, seasoned potatoes. I chose to order the Tri-Fecta, which includes two fresh cage-free eggs any style with either a light and airy Belgian waffle or a multigrain pancake plus your choice of bacon, chicken sausage patty, turkey or pork sausage link. We both ordered our meals with fruit instead of meat. The pancake was large and warm (easily melting the butter on top). The potatoes were tasty, and the fruit, toast, and eggs complemented the meal for both of us. As there was a 15-20 minute wait today, we used the app and checked in online in advance. This allowed us to jump to early in the line. The service was good and food arrived rather quickly with everything correct on our orders. I love FW. So I stopped into this Arcadia location to quickly grab a to-go bite to eat. Upon entry I noticed the set-up here is a little different. Very cozy, nice lighting - staff was quick at servicing me. I did recognize some staff were a little more preoccupied in sharing a little gossip - but figured; that's what they do here - so I pretended to not hear. I ordered my food with the tall gentleman and received my to-go order (drink and meal) within 8 minutes. In the meantime I washed my hands in their bathroom and noticed there were 4 single-use bathrooms labeled M (Men), W (Women), M/W, M/W which I assume was men/women. I happen to peek into the M (Men's) because I'm always curious to see if the restaurants I visit ever think about Single Fathers or Father Daughter time and to my disappointment- there was no baby changing station in the M (Men's) Restroom. There was one in the W (Women's) Restroom - but in most cases in society- that's to be expected. Back to my order. I purchased a Quinoa Pesto Bowl and upon receiving it - I quickly noticed it was lacking in portion size. I've visited a couple other First Watch locations and this portion size seemed a lot smaller than other locations - I'm not sure if it was a fluke or may e portion size was smaller in this area because folks are on specific portion control diets? Lol. Welp, this was my first visit to this location and while the flavors as a whole were spot on (once mixed - the temp of the food was at best a little warm (I prefer a hot plate; but I figured since it was placed in a to-go container, that was the culprit of cool food). Hopefully next time, both portions and temp will be on point. The question is: Would I recommend this particular First Watch? My answer; Yes. The facilities were clean & while a few of the staff could transform their gossiping into positivity; I believe this place would make a great place to enjoy a delicious meal. read more

From the eggs to the pancakes, everything tasted homemade and high-quality. The menu has great variety, and there's something for everyone. What really stood out was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome. For a first-time visit, it felt like I was already a regular. I cannot speak higher about our experience at First Watch- everything was perfect. The project sunrise coffee is some of my favorite ever, it's perfectly balanced and just strong enough. Our server Kate was amazing, she was so kind and bubbly, gave us amazing recommendations and really took time to make sure we had a great experience. We modified multiple items (cheesy eggs and grits, gluten free french toast, and extra crispy million dollar potatoes) and every single item came out perfectly. I came here for brunch with a friend and I was excited for the seasonal menu dish with the pulled pork, corn flour tortillas, eggs, and potatoes. I knew the staff was under pressure and our server said they were short staffed. I didn't want to mention anything about the undercooked potatoes to them out of respect. I did ask about the tortillas because what I received was white flour tortillas. Our server was very nice and said they ran out of the corn flour tortillas and asked if I wanted multigrain toast and a substitute I said sure. She understood what a surprise and disappointment having basic flour tortillas is with a green hatch chili dish like this. Corn tortillas are always preferred in my book. We decided to try First Watch for lunch as we've only been here for their famous breakfast. I had the Cobb salad and hubs had the chicken salad. He really liked the fact that it was served on a toasted piece of bread- as well as the chicken salad itself was yummy. My Cobb salad (minus the egg) was HUGE- the waitress let me know that in the future, I can order a half salad - so take note of that. The salad was very good, I could only get thru half of it. It was served with a 'toast' that has butter and some spices on it and was really good! Service was excellent , we had iced teas to the table even before our first round was gone. We ended up getting butternut squash bisque to go as I didn't see it on the board before we ordered. We had it with our dinner and it was fantastic- creamy comfort food. read more
