And the sequel to it is a bit more grown up, refined, and fun. What's to love: Same great bar food with flavorful wings, scrumptious loaded fries, and sandwiches with locally-sourced bread. But this time, with lower lights, way more space, and sports quietly streaming into the lobby. And best of all--a decent patio! This is exactly the kind of place you'll want to go to watch the game while carrying a conversation with a small group. Where you drag your friends when it's midnight and you want a reliable late-night bite. Or when you want to go out, but not anywhere too ritzy or clubby. A ton of quality hang outs have come and gone through uptown--it's hard for stuff to survive. But I'm really hoping The Bar sticks around a while! read more

Pretty decent dive bar in uptown. Drinks were cheap and strong, which I am not mad about. They also have table service which is nice since it was pretty crowded on a Tuesday night. My friend and I came to The Bar to play some TouchTunes -- unfortunately since it was so crowded it was hard to hear the music. Just as we were leaving we noticed that karaoke was about to start. Service is terrible, you'll wait about 30 minutes in between talking to your waitress. Severely understaffed and they don't serve water with ice. You have to get it out of a jug with dirty cups. Wings are good but not worth it at all read more

I can't understand the high reviews. Your service sucks! We had to flag down our waitress and she ignored us until I got in her face. I asked for our table to be wiped down from the previous guest and she said, "I can do that for you". The F? It should have been done without asking. Felt like we were putting her out. Started by sitting outside. 10 minutes later we went inside hoping to have service. I give it two stars because the food is good. read more

What a great neighborhood find! Our food was outstanding. We ordered the Chicken Tenders and they were FANTASTIC!!! We also shared a grilled chicken wrap, so delish. The service was awesome. We sat at the bar to watch MNF with great people around us. This was our second time here and we have also been one time to the Arcadia location which did not disappoint. This is my first time here, and I'll definitely be back! The location is great, and I love their happy hour specials. The Bar. is very reasonable, considering how many other places are limited on time when HH specials are valid and still charge a lot. The staff was fantastic! Alexandra and Carolyn were super friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of. They never left an empty glass or had to wait for service. It was clear that they love working there, which made the visit even better. Even though there was a big crowd, the service was spot on. The seating was comfortable, and the decor was great. The only suggestion I have is to install some sound-reducing materials. It was a bit loud while chatting with someone else, but it was also super busy. We also got a dozen wings and split the order to try two different flavors. Their wings were actually really meaty and tasted amazing!
