We also ordered the popcorn chicken, and it was great--had some kind of bang bang sauce in it, yummy! It was oddly hot not sure why they had the doors open but it got too hot we had to stop bowling. Unfortunately, the drink was a massive letdown. I ordered the Mai Tai, which came pre-batched on tap. It was incredibly sweet--almost syrup-like--and lacked any balance. To make matters worse, it was served in a flimsy takeout container cup that leaked everywhere, and the garnish was just a sad, old piece of basil. For a premium spot, you expect a properly balanced drink and a cup that doesn't leak. Go for the awesome bowling and the popcorn chicken, but maybe stick to a beer or a simple pour until they fix their cocktail execution! read more

Perfect place for my 30th birthday! Beautiful and eclectic venue. The staff were accommodating and friendly and patient from the moment we were greeted at the front desk! I hope all staff get recognized who were working on 5/10/26! They were all so amazing and went above and beyond with our large group ages ranging from infant to adult! Another plus was happy hour menu on a Sunday! We all indulged in some awesome sushi and I just loved the spicy mayo! My kids enjoyed popcorn chicken and fries! Châm Pang Lanes is known for bowling, champagne and fried chicken. It's got a cool old school 60's disco vibe to it. They are 21 and over during the later hours. This is a fun place to check out if you are bar hopping around the Roosevelt Row district. Bowling at Châm Pang Lanes is duckpin bowling. The pins and bowling balls are smaller. SOOOO much fun! I do not like bowling at all. I think it's boring. But this mini bowling set up was so much fun! Everything inside is so cute. They make it a fun hip place to be. We had a big group and the staff was on top of getting us drinks.. maybe a few too many hehe We did not try any food, just the drinks. Very clean, including the bathrooms. Let me say I've been here a couple of times and I absolutely love the concept! There's a bowling alley where you can bowl there's space for dancing. There's a bar again great concept. The only issue that I have here is that it is really hard to get served. And when we were served, it was as a favor with being done, there was a little bit of an attitude or frustration on the part of the server. Which I can kinda understand I feel like they are short staffed on bartenders for the crowd of people that typically tend to come here. So my best advice is to go next-door to ghost donkey or Palma and grab a drink. You usually can go between Palma and Cham Pang lanes very easily. Other than that had a great time great music selection... I've been here a couple of times and consistently. I felt that the vibes here were good. Parking is a bear so if you can Uber, but if not, just give yourself time to find parking nearby. read more

This is why I LOVE champang lanes.l! Thank you for the managers who let me go to the restroom during an emergency! I've always enjoyed coming here due to. It's great atmosphere and They take CARE of you! Today I had the unfortunate problem of needing to go to the restroom. We all know how a busy night can make us lose track of having to take care of business. I was out at a fashion show and had the time to stop by my local favorite food truck, Duke 's chicken...Which was about half a block away from beautiful Champang lanes. I needed to go to the restroom so I ran all the way to Champang, just because I have done business with them in the past and know how amazing they are. Unfortunately, I was stopped at the door by a cornrowed (short haired) security guard and was told because the long line I wouldn't be able to go to the bathroom. To clarify, I didn't want food, I didn't wanna drink, I just need to go to the bathroom and i was right in front. I am used to just being automatically let in because of my relationship with the company and was really disappointed but the security guards actions. I asked to see a manager and he refused and said i wasn't allowed . I proceeded to walk towards the host stand and he grabbed me and said I'm not allowed in at all now. He started cussing at me and my boyfriend saying we disrespected him and that's when Val came out and was like no worries girly, I'll get a manager and got a manager and I was able to go to the bathroom! Thank God there were people there who knew me because I understand businesses hav which turnover but there are people who have been with the company for so long and they are SO AMAZING! We arrived around 3pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately. The staff was all very nice. The popcorn chicken was incredible and I think everyone needs to try it. We ordered the yellow curry /thai basil lime and the snow seasoning, jalapeño lime. The snow seasoning one was my favorite but the Thai basil was also delicious. Fun place if you want to play some games and eat/drink with friends.... Parking - there are open paid lots and meters around the area. I ended up parking at a meter that wasn't too expensive, it's free after 10. A few friends and I went here on a Saturday night for my friend's bday. Pinball machines and pool tables ($10 per hour) are first come first serve. We did the duck pink bowling, I recommend making ressies online for that. It is just smaller pins with a smaller ball and shorter lanes, still fun! It is more expensive at $20 per hour for an online ressie vs $15 for walk in, but it gets busy on the weekend so it's nice to not have to wait. There are 3 lanes for ressies and 3 lanes for walk ins. You can eat and drink at the lanes if you don't want to pay the extra $12 to reserve a table online for their "Hollywood" booth that is off to the side. I just don't like how you have to reserve it online instead of over the phone. For free. Lols We just ate at the lanes which I think is better. One of our friends was late so our server was so nice to offer we wait with our food at the Hollywood booth until our friend came. Free of charge. Otherwise it would have cut into our hour reservation with the bowling! My friends said the bulgigi beef nachos and Beijing pork roll were pretty good. I didn't eat it since I hate cilantro and it's full of it. I had the yummy sweet potato waffle fries, popcorn chicken with honey butter five spice and curry fries, delicious! I recommend, great snacks for bowling. My friends ordered some foo foo drinks but I don't remember the names. They said they were ok but the shriveled, droopy, spotted brown basil used for a garnish was funny. I recommend Cham Pang skipping that bc it just makes the presentation look sad. I tried the Roku - it just tasted cheap and sweet. Then, I decided to get a simple Margherita: how do you mess that up? They did. It tasted like they put a pound of sugar in it. Clearly, they're trying to appeal to a crowd that, having barely turned 21 ( judging from all the selfies we observed)., still needs their alcohol to evoke Hawaiian punch. Also, the ducking bowling is $15 per person AN HOUR. I could understand $30 bucks an hour, but almost $50 to play glorified skeetball? read more

Me and my sister came here for a drinking night out. The location itself is kinda small so if you don't mind crowded places then this may be for you! However, I felt a little claustrophobic. When you enter there is limited seating and about 4-5 bowling lanes (I couldn't really see). The bar area circulates around the main area of the building. The menu is pretty unique if you like fancier looking cocktails. I tried 2 drinks here. The first one I forget the name of but it was a whiskey cocktail. It was pretty good and decently sized. The second drink was a mai tai and it came in a cute to go Chinese noodle box. It was very pretty and tasted a bit stronger than expected. Due to the time we arrived we did not get to try any food just some drinks. The music was okay, it was a bit more techno sounding and I didn't notice a lot of dancing. It was also very loud so not really a good place if you were looking to talk with friends. However, I never really like loud bars so if you don't mind them you might enjoy this place! Overall I don't think I personally would come back for the atmosphere. However, I still recommend it to those that like "club like" scenes. read more

This is a super cute bowling alley in DTPHX. Every inch of this place is IG worthy, I absolutely love the decor. It was packed inside, so I didn't capture everything but it's stunning. Inside you'll find 6 lanes for duck pin bowling and a huge bar. There's obviously no shortage of seating and standing room and the music was good. When we arrived there was a short line to get in, but by the time we left it was the length of the building. If you come on a Saturday like we did, get there early or be prepared to wait. I think we left around 11:30 and that seemed to be a popular time for people to arrive. read more

My best friend decided to start her birthday night at Cham pang lanes! We had two reserved lanes that comfortably held 10+ people. The bowling itself was so fun, I love the mini balls especially because I'm a small person. You also had three turns per frame, which I also enjoyed. Our game did end right at the one hour mark and we couldn't complete our game, but I guess it makes sense because then all the other reservations will be continued to be pushed back. The music was popping and the drinks flowing (the server was very attentive) so it all combined to make it so fun. The sweet potato yummy fries were to die for. Like so good, great flavor combos. Plus waffle fries are always better. I don't eat red meat so I couldn't have the nachos but they looked very good and it was such a large portion. The Thai curry fries were also to die for - I am impressed with the Asian flavor combos with the fries. We brought our own cake and they were so nice and offered to put it in the fridge until we were ready to sing happy birthday! Great times read more

The bowling is different from your usual bowling venues with smaller balls and three tries per turn but definitely just as fun. The servers were all fantastic and frequently checked in. I've been here plenty of times but never on a Sunday during the day time. We migrated here from Churchill because my friends wanted a place with music. We found it! The DJ here was playing the kind of music we liked. Drinks were good. I got a Mai Tai which came in a takeout box. Cute but it looked like it was all ice and little drink. I was told it's pretty strong. Maybe it was but I wasn't 100% sure because I was already buzzed after my drink at Churchill. It tasted good though. Our waitress was really nice. It was pretty empty on a Sunday. There was maybe less than 25 people. If you've ever been here at night, you know how packed it can get! But it was cool. Service was quick that day so we were happy. This place was my fave. Everything about it was poppin'. The gold lions and colorful wallpaper was a vibe. The circular bar was convenient and they had a camera showing on the big tv, so you can't help but wave at yourself. The music was jumpin' but there was no dancefloor to get down. No dress code or cover which was new to us coming from Cali (they charge for everything haha). The food was yummy too, Asian fusion. The bar is nice because it's circular and you can order from anywhere. We didn't do the bowling or anything but the drink I got was pretty good. My Mom really enjoyed her night out in Phoenix & Cham Pang Lanes made that happened! This interactive bar is flashy, fun & provides a lot of places to take cute pics. They do not take any reservations. However, it took us about 1hr for us to get a lane. In the meantime, we ordered some cocktails & enjoyed the DJ! The drinks were good and my favorite was the Peach Fuzzy. My mom could not get over her Mai Tai being served in a Chinese food take out box lol I really enjoyed my crunchy sushi roll. Security refused service to our group as we were laughing out front. We were a party of 5 ready to spend money (and celebrating 2 birthdays) and were refused entry to both Palma, Ghost Donkey, and champagne lanes. We had 1/2 our group fly in and it was our first stop of the night and we were so excited to be downtown Phoenix. Visited again while they had their own variation of a holiday pop up bar: Candy Cane Lanes. Beautifully decorated! So many lights and colors. I was mostly here for the popcorn chicken that I've mentioned in previous reviews :) get the chicken! It's so good. Even better if you go during happy hour and get it for a few bucks cheaper; it's a perfect shareable. For my drink I chose the Mistletoe Mule off the holiday cocktail menu- lovely! Although I am a sucker for a salt rim, the sugar rim added to the sweet holiday vibes of the night. I've never actually gone bowling here, but I would recommend making a reservation for a lane so that you don't have to wait once you get there. It can get busy by the lanes! It's also nice to hang out at the bar during busy nights so that you don't have to wait for a server to come by your table. read more

I had been to bowling/game bars in other cities and have enjoyed them, so I was looking forward to visiting this place. The bouncer was super friendly (a rare find), and I felt safe because they check pockets before letting people in. The place had a retro vibe but was decked out in holiday decorations, and the sparkly stars made it come to life. The decorations were elaborate but not too cheesy or childish! The service was excellent, and we got great recommendations for food and drink. The menu is limited (with 3 types of sushi), but the items were high quality. We ended up ordering fruity drinks, and I enjoyed the Peach Fuzzy, which was refreshing and sweet with just enough booze. We ordered the Crunchy L.A. and Crunchy Palma sushi rolls. The sushi was slightly spicy with tons of flavor and interesting textures. Personally I liked the Palma roll best and would re-order if I wasn't full! The popcorn chicken was also crispy, piping hot, and spicy. We were fueled to bowl afterwards, which was $15 per head. Bowling was also a unique experience since all bowling balls weighed the same. LOVE THE VIBES! I absolutely loved this place! Vibes are great as soon as you walk in. Decor is wonderful, I love all of the disco balls above the bar. Music was varied but I loved all of it, any 90s kids like me would know all the songs. All 3 drinks I had were great!!! We waited about 1 hour for a bowling lane to open up. You go up to the concierge at the front entrance and they take your phone number and text you. The bowling lanes are smaller than usual and so are the balls. The balls do not have holes in them, you just grab them and toss them. They're all the same size and pretty light. We had a great time. The food I ordered was pretty good, but not life changing. I'd for sure get the Thai curry fries again but would pass on the popcorn chicken. All in all, I'll be back here! One of my new favorite spots. read more

Very fun place to celebrate birthdays or a get together! Came here for the HH drinks and food! They have the mini bowling that you can do with your group and it's first come first serve. It's $15 per person for an hour. All the decor is so cute! Lots of great photo backgrounds! It's open seating when you arrive and it's nice that you can't move around the place throughout the night. The music is not too loud so you are still able to chat with people. The drinks were not strong and the HH food had some good options! My favorite was the Beijing Pork Roll!
