    Oysters on HH

A time was had at Filthy martini. We went to this location on a Friday evening since we were downtown and wanted to have a few cocktails. They do participate in happy hour at this location, including on a Friday evening. We did not have a reservation, but there was room for us available at the bar. It was also first Friday so the area was kinda of busy. If you want to ensure that you have a table. I would recommend getting a reservation. On this occasion, we tried a few of their signature cocktails. Some delicious french fries, and some oysters. All in all, we were really satisfied with the food options on the happy hour menu. There were a few other selections that you could purchase that were not on the happy hour menu, but also look good. I would love to come back and try the charcuterie board. This place is super cute. We left before the live music started, but it seems like that is an option. We really liked our bartender. He was really fantastic. His technique when it came to mixing up the drinks was 10 out of 10. This place is connected to the steakhouse. It is a prime location right in Arizona Center. They do offer two hours of validated parking. So if you do choose to park in the attached garage, make sure to bring your ticket cause they will give you a sticker that gives you two hours a complimentary parking.

Super cute and vibey - be sure to make a reservation! My boyfriend and I ate at Cleaverman for dinner and asked our server about checking out filthy martini. Just by our luck she was able to squeeze us in for an hour to check out the spot. Even though we only had an hour, we were still able to try a couple of drinks each and check out a little bit of the live music. We will definitely have to come back here. Even though we are not martini people they had probably the best version of a espresso martini that I've ever had and I wanna say it had some sort of cheese sprinkled on the top.

The vibe and aesthetic in this room is so impressive! The gold tones, wood accents, fluted glass... Everything makes it such a beautiful room to be in! We met friends for a quick round of drinks before going over and having dinner at Cleverman. It was a nice environment And felt very peaceful to enjoy catching up with some friends.

Made a reservation here for a mini birthday celebration with just another friend of mine. Entrance is the same as the Cleaverman. We were greeted by the sweet hostesses who walked us back to the filthy martini bar, where we had a booth for the night (my favorite!). Very pretty decor, lighting, and ambience. Felt very fancy! We got lucky as we got there at 7, which is when they have live music, a talented gentleman played piano throughout the night! Quick peruse of the menu and the sweet servers got our drink and food order. We started with the 'swingers' martini which tasted quite sweet but not too overpowering. Will definitely order that again! The oysters were incredible and I appreciated that they were smaller, it also came with lots of options for toppings. The truffle fries were so delicious!! Definitely order those truffle fries no matter what!! The lobster roll was good but wouldn't order again, the old bay fries tasted good as well. For dessert, we opted for their pineapple rum cake I believe, which tasted amazing! Very fresh and light. Such an incredible experience, can't wait to come back! Great service, drinks, ambience, and food!

Absolutely phenomenal cocktail spot, easily in my top 3 favorites of Phoenix. First and foremost, the environment and ambiance of this place is unmatched. I feel like I walked into the 1900s and experienced a real underground martini bar. They have jazz bands playing on weekends and live performances throughout the week, which really brings the whole experience together. Secondly, the food is a must. I don't usually order food at bars, especially cocktail or upscale bars, because you don't typically get a whole lot of bang for your buck. But this place has an incredible kitchen, with the beef tartare and truffle fries being the single best bar food items I've ever had. Ordering a small bite is an absolute must if you go. Finally: the cocktails. I mean, I don't know where they find these bartenders but Pretty Decent Concepts always always always hires the greatest staff around. Their menu is expansive already but I was putting the bar staff to the test, requesting some pretty niche cocktails. He didn't hesitate to make something custom and perfect to my liking, which has been the case every time I come to this place. The wait and hosting staff are incredible too, as always. Filthy, you're added to my list of Phoenix Restaurant Greats. I'll be back very soon.

Entrance is everything, you're always told make a bold entrance stand out and be you and don't apologize for it. At Filthy the name is bold but this space is prestigious, warm, inviting, exciting, and surprisingly cozy! You enter in to rich wood warm lighting a long hallway that begs the anticipation for what's through the doors as you walk past aged steaks. As the doors open a room lined with velvet, draped perfectly to catch the light, sconces balanced and a bar focused on you not them! We were seated and helped to water, menus, and Anastasia introduced herself. She asked great questions encouraging us to modify if allergies were present and we were concerned that something looked good but couldn't be done. After my wife mentioned she wasn't drinking alcohol and I ordered a martini she brought us 2 glasses of zero proof prosecco as we were celebrating our anniversary! We asked for the cleaverman menu and were also brought that, they don't recommend it as the 90 minute experience is necessary for timely transitions for others to enjoy but if you ask they'll gladly accommodate which was awesome! If you do get there at opening they have a one hour window of happy hour till 6 with great $10 offerings of plates and drink, one of which was the oysters and damn they were huge and delicious! We also ordered the Cordon Blue Croquettes (little too salty for us) Brussel Sprouts, baked potato rolls and the Prime rib all to share. Everything came out in a perfect wave to slowly enjoy and that we did. Besides the croquettes which weren't bad everything was great but that Prime Rib... WOW! We ordered medium rare and it wasn't the pinkish center but the cool red throughout overloaded with flavor, the melt in your mouth rendered fat with great dips to compliment if you like. We passed on dessert as we were headed off to the baseball game but this is a must if you're a steak fan or a bar experience fan. The only thing that might have made it better would have been live music, which was about to kickoff so I guess I should say they have thought of everything it's just the live music starts a little closer to 6:30, I'd also like to mention this place doesn't overwhelm you with noise! The music level was perfect to where we didn't have to shout at each other which from a few other places we've been is loud and maybe cus I'm in my 40's now but a bit of an annoyance. All in all can't for the life of me understand why this place is anything but top shelf in the food scene right now Pretty Descent Concepts crushed this experience and I hope you set aside time to go live it up a little bit. It's worth it

Swanky What a fun new cocktail lounge. Love the vibe and the atmosphere. I went after work with coworkers, and the experience feels elevated with classy drinks and live music. We didn't get a chance to try any food but excited to go back to try more drinks in the menu!

Nice addition to downtown Phx. Live music (piano/vocalist the night we were there), warm lighting, small menu of bites and drinks (including a few n/a options). We lucked out getting seats at the bar late night, mid-week before the kitchen closed. The space is cozy, tho, so safer to make a reservation. Drinks are a bit pricey, but they come with live entertainment. Caesar salad was fine- fresh greens and heavy dressing that just tasted meh. The lobster roll, however, was fab. Tender chunks of buttery lobster meat tucked into brioche roll with a side of crispy fries- yes, please!

The duck fat fries are ridiculous! The pieces of duck in the fries were a very nice surprise and I told our waitress "Daffy Duck tasted really good, who would've known!?" And she loved that the lobster rolls?! Listen if I could eat without getting fat, I'd go and have these regularly. Good lord. The drinks were very tasty too and the whole interior basically feeling like I transported into the 70s has me sold for the foreseeable future.

Loved the vibes of this place! I will say Apple Maps doesn't take you to the right place so it was tricky to find but I found it tucked next to valet. I knew with it being new the service would be slow which it was but our waitress did a great job considering how hectic it was! The cordon blew croquettes ARE AN ABSOLUTE MUST ORDER!!! So delicious I had to order 2 servings!!! My matcha mocktail was yummy although I did feel the mocktails should be $10-$11 not $14 since there's no alcohol in it. The music was great too! It was a fun place to try and glad I got To experience it! The fries were yummy too they just took a long time to receive for my friend but I'm sure service will get faster through time

Love the vibe and ambiance here

We made reservations to come here for after our fabulous dinner at Cleaverman. Love the ambiance and vibe. It's like stepping into another era. Lots of unique drink options, some small bites and desserts, and they even had a live band performing. Our server was super sweet and attentive even though they were pretty busy on the Saturday night we attended. Only complaint is that it was super cold inside so we were freezing and I actually ordered hot tea to warm up. Such a great addition to downtown Phoenix!

Great vibe but the kitchen doesn't match the price point We spent over $1600 between Cleaverman's and Filthy last week and the discrepancy between the atmosphere and the food is glaring. Like Cleaverman's, the ambiance here at Filthy is top-tier and the service was great, but as a former restaurant owner and operator from the Bay Area, the kitchen quality is a major disappointment. For the amount of money being charged, the execution just isn't there. We don't mind paying for a premium night out, but we expect the food to be at that same level. Right now, you have a beautiful venue with high-end service, but the kitchen is an afterthought. It seems to be a recurring theme with these spots. If the ownership doesn't start focusing on sourcing and quality control, the stunning decor won't be enough to keep people coming back for a second meal. I'm hoping to see the culinary side eventually catch up to the front-of-house. Onique service was amazing. Bree's band was great. That's the stars.

Super cute place! Just be warned that the only walk-in space is to stand by a crowded small bar. Definitely recommend to make a reservation because it is a smaller space, but live music was very entertaining!

I have seen people comment that they were too strong (I don't see the problem or maybe some people don't really like tequila) but mine was perfect! Not strong at all. The only reason I didn't give this updated review a 5-I ordered the banh mi sando and the sandwich was so dry. Chicken was dry. The cilantro wasn't chopped I had to pick out long stems. Also I got the AZ frosè and the rosemary syrup was just way too pungent to enjoy the whole beverage. I wished it had been more balanced. Especially when the French fries are heavily seasoned with rosemary--a bit too much.

Carry On actually called me to confirm our "tickets," which I thought was really cute. The whole experience kind of started a couple of days before our actual "departure time." They also reminded us to park in the Renaissance Square parking garage under Wren & Wolf, and they were able to validate our parking for three hours. We had to go to Wren & Wolf first to pick up our Carry On tickets. We got there early, and they let us relax in their couch area while we waited for our departure time. The walk from the Renaissance Square parking garage to Wren & Wolf was easy. You just follow the signs, and the whole walk is inside the building, which was perfect because it was so hot outside. While we were waiting, we could order drinks and chill, just like being in an airport lounge. When it was time for departure, we walked outside the building, and Carry On was right around the corner. You won't miss it because you'll see the Carry On Air flight schedule above the gate door. Right on time, we were greeted by a friendly flight attendant. Once we walked into the cabin, it really felt like we were inside a first-class flight lounge. Our flight attendant served us drinks right after we sat down, and we also ordered more cocktails and snacks from their menu. The captain spoke to us over the speaker, just like on a real flight. As we took off, we could even feel the seats moving. Looking out the "window," we saw buildings, clouds surrounding us, and even experienced turbulence I'm not going to tell you too much because I don't want to ruin the experience. I'll let you try it for yourself. I think it's definitely worth giving it a try. At least for us, we loved it.

What an unexpectedly fun night!…read more I honestly had no idea what I was walking into when a friend told me I had to check out Bikini Lounge because they know I'm drawn to all things eclectic. They were absolutely right. From the moment the friendly bouncer smiled and said, "Step right on in," I was hooked. Yoooow!! The first DJ was incredible. He was spinning all kinds of trip-hop, indie, electronic, and remix-style tracks that had everybody partyin'. It wasn't your typical dance music, but every song seemed to connect with somebody in the room. The crowd was incredibly diverse, and it was so much fun watching people of every age and style dancing and nobody cared. The second DJ, a younger woman, shifted the vibe a bit and leaned more toward a younger crowd. It wasn't quite my style, so I took that opportunity to grab a seat at the bar and do what I apparently do best... chat with complete strangers. I'm a talker, and thankfully they seemed just as happy to strike up a conversation. This isn't some fancy cocktail lounge, and that's exactly the point. It's authentic. There were people dancing at the bar, grooving in their booths, bouncing in their seats, and filling the dance floor with great energy. I came by myself, and within minutes a cool group of strangers invited me to squeeze into their booth like we'd all come together. That's the kind of place this is. At one point they even offered me a glass of beer from their pitcher. I politely declined (look at me making responsible life choices... sometimes), but then I realized almost everyone had pitchers! So I sauntered over to the bar. I did have to wait a bit; apparently chivalry doesn't extend to letting a woman cut the line, but once I reached the bartender, the service was fast and friendly. Every trip back to the bar was the same. No complaints there. As the night went on, the energy just kept building. Before I knew it, I was on the dance floor sweating, smiling, and dancing with complete strangers. After a while, I had to retreat to the patio just to catch my breath before heading back in for more. My ankles are still sore... and the glutes? Fuhgetabouttit! The best part of the night wasn't the music or even the drinks. It was the people. Every generation was represented. Every fashion style imaginable. Every personality. And somehow it all worked. There was this genuine sense of joy and community that you just don't find everywhere. If you're looking for polished and upscale, this probably isn't your spot. But if you want great music, a welcoming crowd, zero pretension, and one of those nights where you leave happier than you arrived... give Bikini Lounge a shot. I went in not knowing what to expect. I left wondering why I'd waited so long to go.
