This is elevated service. Not only cause of its location above the rooftop but because of the girls that welcome you when you get in. We came in with no reservations. The place didn't seem as if it needed it. It really was not crowded, but they still accommodated us & took really good care of us. There's a DJ in charge of the music....but he's not loud nor anything. We could talk and have a real convo in a really nice environment. This place is simply beautiful. The pool and the city views just kicks it off the park. Good Job Eden! read more

A bit overpriced but perfect vibes! First of all the hours are a little bit wonky, I came in at 11:30 PM and on the website it says that they close at 12 AM. There was no one there and I ended up going to another place for a late dinner. I came back in the morning at 11 AM and they were open. I tried the chicken sandwich, the lamb meatballs and also the lobster roll. my favorite was the lamb meatballs and the lobster roll. The chicken sandwich was rather dry and nothing special. I would say that the lamb meatballs are a little bit expensive given that it's almost $20 for 3-4 pieces. The lamb was very flavorful and only good if you like lamb. The chicken sandwich was sort of dry so I will pass on that. The lobster roll had a good amount of lobster inside, but it was a little bit small given its price. Nevertheless, I came back the following day to get drinks. I got a Moscow Mule and a beer. A standard place for drinks... I was able to get a seat next to the pool at night and it was very nice. read more

The thing I loved about Eden is that their desert/Mediterranean design is immersive and feels authentic and luxurious. Sitting in a cabana where they seated us this time felt both intimate and open. Started off my palette with shrimp ceviche and Surfer Rosa drink. The shrimp ceviche was okay, but coconut presentation was cute. I got a chicken pesto panini, which I forgot to take a photo of. This panini was amazing!! It had a delightful crunch and wonderful pesto flavors. At the end, I ordered an espresso martini, however, it did not come with a toasted marshmallow like the menu had stated. Service was the least favorite part of the great experience here. Our waitress disappeared before our friend arrived and joined us here. We chatted for about 30+ mins before we tried to flag down employees twice to find our waitress. When our waitress finally came, she looked at us again and asked if we have tabs open at the bar. We were confused because she had been serving us our drinks and appetizer about an hour earlier. We reminded her of that, and she quickly bounced back as our waitress. All in all, I'll be back for just for the drinks and the ambiance! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes of the place were great and so were the drinks[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but it's a poorly managed restaurant. We booked reservations and were sat quickly but we waited 25 - 30 minutes for the server to greet us and take our drink order. If it was busy, I would have been understanding but we were the only table sitting for dinner. The employees are just hanging out and chatting with each other. To the hostess's credit, she saw we had been sitting there for 20 minutes and brought us waters. The server when he finally came to the table was super nice, but we were over it at that point and just closed out after the first drink. At that point had been about 45 minutes into us sitting. We walked over to wren and wolf without a reservation, were sat, had our cocktails, and our appetizers quicker than we got waters at Eden's. It was a disappointing experience. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is adorable and my friends and I were so excited to try.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately we were sat and then ignored for almost 20 minutes, while others around us were helped. No one even stopped by to tell us they would be with us soon. I went up and stood at the bar hoping to at least get some water and was ignored for another 5 minutes before we decided to leave. I understand being busy but acknowledgment is always nice. read more

I was really impressed with the food. All of the flavors for each plate were really good. My friend agreed we were all surprised with the quality of all the dishes we chose. We got the arugula salad, a side of fries, the Shuka and the pasta as well as a mocktail everything was delicious. I highly recommend it. read more

The views and vibe is what you come for. Especially at Sunset when the pool activity has died down. Service was absolutely fantastic. For November evening it could've been a better place to kick off the evening downtown. Centrally located with plenty of seating at 5pm on a Saturday. The pool set up definitely looked great, I would definitely stay at this Kimpton. The food ... I hate to say this but extremely disappointing. Especially for the prices. I would pass on ordering anything here. Even guacamole was bland, which I feel is one of the easiest things to nail for a restaurant. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Visited the rooftop bar on April 27, ordered a margarita and wings... the bar was not busy but for some reason they were having difficulty with their register when it came to check out and took my card to another register. Next day I find I was charged over $130 more my bill. I have tried to contact someone to resolve this issue and keep getting a new contact person who will "look into it" or just leave my info on voicemail or with a receptionist. Unfortunately I don't have my itemized invoice and difficult to dispute with my credit card. Beware! They over charge your card!!! Scam!!! read more

The location was beautiful don't get me wrong. It had misters and gazebos. I gave it two starts because the drinks were atrocious. We had the cactus cooler and the phoenix rising but since they were so bad we left right after them. I didn't even want to finish my drink. The cactus cooler has brandy, pineapple juice, passion fruit syrup, coconut creme and lemon. But it just tasted like pineapple juice and brandy and that's it. The phoenix rising just tasted fizzy from the soda and sour. That's it. The drink was so unimpressive. After we left we went to majerle's and the drinks were way cheaper and the food is better. Eden food is so expensive for snack plates. The drinks cost 38.19 and was ridiculously over priced. Our server Nessa wasn't good either. She greeted us and asked if we wanted drinks and we stated we wanted to look at the menu. After 20 mins we were still waiting for her to come by so we just got up and went to the bar to order. Afterwards she brought us the drinks and then didn't check on us throughout our time there. And then when we wanted to leave we went to the bar and he sent the waitress over. It was just a horrible experience. And the hotel smelled really weird. Like no matter where there was a pungent foul odor that smelled very sour. Also we had a 7pm reservation and there was like no one at the hostess stand so we seated ourselves. It was just a very unprofessional service read more

First time at Eden Rooftop Bar. Drinks were good and the vibe is very Miami lounge. If only the view was better or the bar was actually higher on the rooftop. Lots of cozy seating and the people watching on the Friday night I was there with friends was ok. Maybe it gets busy later, but we wanted to see the sunset so arrived at that time. Probably my favorite part was the excellent DJ. He was really into his music and was jamming and dancing for his whole set. It's nice to see a DJ actually act like he likes being a Dj! My one complaint would be the super young looking waitresses, it's really off putting how young looking they are, given the age of the clientele I really don't get why places have these young looking hostesses and waitresses. It's not a good vibe read more

Friendly staff, tasty cocktails. The cabanas near the bar are comfy and perfect for catching up with friends. Drinks were creative, beautiful, and nicely balanced. Negroni Bianchi was my fave- crystal clear and served with a pretty purple flower. I'd also order both the Pear Necessities (just the right amount of sweet) and Phoenix Rising (just the right amount of tart) again. Non-alcoholic options available, too. Tomato Fattoush was kinda meh- it's tough to find tomatoes that actually taste good, but at least these look pretty. They come with chunks of cuke, raw onions, and too-big pita chips that didn't have much flavor. Squash flatbread was a better and good to share. Will try some of the other things on the menu when I return. read more

Attempted to grab a bite to eat yesterday afternoon and stumbled upon Eden. After taking the elevator to the 3rd floor, we approached the open concept restaurant, where my friend and I were causally greeted by an employee, but not asked if we wanted a table so we continue to seat ourselves. There were 3 other people in the restaurant at this time, which gave the impression of it being not very busy. We sat down at a table, and waited for someone to greet us and get a started with waters/drinks/menus. The bartender made eye contact with me a few times however, continued to stay behind the bar and attend to his cell phone. The other "server" eventually came over about 7 mins later to ask if we wanted menus.....um, really? When he came back with menus, he asked if wanted anything to drink, in which we both ordered Ice Tea. He came back with only 1 Iced Tea and said he had to "go downstairs to grab more".....assuming they ran out. Roughly after 5 more minutes of waiting, my friend has finished his Ice Tea already and our server was chatting with bartender at the bar, not going downstairs to get the other drink. This was an immediate turn off and we no longer wanted to "dine" at Eden with the lack of customer service and basic restaurant server skills. As a former service industry worker of 10yrs, I expected a higher level of attentiveness and promptness to its paying customers. We felt like a burden to be there, so we left and gave our business elsewhere! read more

Large group of us met to celebrate a birthday at Eden recently and (an area was set aside for us -reserved by the hosts). Now it's a Friday night, so it was busy, but not to the point it was crowded. The drink orders either kept getting forgotten or took quite a while to get to us. our server did his best to accommodate, but there were times he would be missing. For drinks, there was a variety being ordered. The espresso martini and Phoenix rising were among the drinks ordered. I had the Mediterranean Caesar salad, and it was very tasty! I'd say the length of time it took to get the cocktails and our orders for food were a bit off-putting, but otherwise, we had a fun time. read more

The pool and chairs that surround it are a nice experience. However, the bar and restaurant are subpar. The drinks are below average quality and the food is underrated. It's more a spectacle than actual taste and quality. If you're looking for a rooftop pool experience then this is your spot. But I'd eat and drink elsewhere. read more

I, my friend and his wife went there Friday, June 27, around 7:30pm for the steak dinner with duck potatoes, and asparagus... I did not get asparagus I asked for a salad instead. "Aonica" was our server, brought water to our table, ask us to pass it around and took our drink order. I accidentally knocked my water over. She brought a towel over for us to clean it up. As the food was brought out later and my friend said "oh shit there's a roach" I looked down and it was a roach, at this point I was dam near ready to leave but stayed because the food had just been placed at the table and I didn't want to make a big scene. The steak was phenomenal. The salad did not have enough dressing so of course I asked the server " Aonica" to bring me more I realized I did not have potatoes nor did my friends wife at all. I informed Aonica and she said I don't understand what happened, but I will get to the Cook and have him make you some. I never got the dressing until the end of the meal along with the potatoes. The bill was $239 for three of us, including three Long Island iced teas which would've been for but the fourth one did not taste right to my friend's wife. I do not recommend going to this restaurant at all!!!!! Again, I do not recommend going to this restaurant at all... I do plan on calling the board of health in regards to the roach. The server, "Aonica" is in the wrong line of business. She should work at Wendy's. read more

Beautiful rooftop pool and bar! It was empty around 11 am Saturday morning but packed later in the day around 2pm! Lots of nice seating areas, cabanas and a lot of shade available later in the day as the sun sets into the west. read more

Our Servicer was Mo and Mo was the bomb.com. Service was on point. He exercised patience with us and really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was great. Drinks were okay, but Mo was great so we didn't feel the need to say anything. I ordered shot of tequila and Mo did a pretty good presentation. 10/10 Highly Recommend!!! read more

This place feels like you are at a resort! Beautiful drinks and rooftop pool and bar. It's kind of pricey but to be expected downtown. I recently visited Eden Rooftop Bar in downtown Phoenix and it instantly became my favorite spot for elevated drinks with a view. I enjoyed this bar/pool lounge/restsutsnt very much. The atmosphere was sexy and relaxed. I live across the street, and my neighbors wanted to try a different pool, so "Eden" is where we decided to go. They have lounge chairs, cabanas, a full bar (very attractive served), and a few seated areas with couches and tables. The setup and decór are really well done. It was fairly empty, but we were there at 11a in the morning (we were hungry). So we set up where the sun still existed near the lounge chairs and waited for our server. Once we put in our multiple drink orders, we checked out the menu. Now, this is the downfall for me and the reason for 4 stars. The menu is very simple (before 4p) - way too simple. We wanted a few finger foods to share amongst each other, and that simply was not an option. We ended up leaving early because of it. Luckily, this was our only complaint. Bottom line, this is a pretty place to go for a drink or a nice cabana experience during sunset with some fun people to get the evening started. You'll love the time spent here, and your guest will truly feel swept away. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. The service sucks--staff are incredibly lazy and unhelpful. You literally have to get your own water, which is ridiculous. On top of that, drinks are $25 each! Also like 5 things on the menu. For that price, you'd think you'd at least get some decent service, but nope. Don't waste your time or money here. Maybe get some more women up here, or some people who know how to fake it! I am a server I usually have an enormous amount of patience, these employees are unhappy and it shows, get another job if you don't like the one you have. Don't make the customer pay for your life decisions. read more

Eden has a beautiful rooftop with great decor and a good view. Beyond that, it is your typical hotel rooftop bar with overpriced food and drinks. The crudo was lacking a bit in flavor. The drinks were good, but way overpriced for what you get. This was an okay place to spend on a nice day, but due to the pricing we won't be back! read more

This review is for drinks only. Let me start off by saying the views are fabulous. See my picture. I was with a group that eventually swelled to about 11 by the time we left. There is a good drink menu, as I was told by my friends, but I stuck with beer. Prices were a bit high for beer, but the view made up for it. The bar is part of a hotel, and there is a pool on the rooftop level for guests. My only complaint was the end of our experience. People had slowly been showing up, and I had actually opened a separate tab being a late arrival, and already closed it out, before more people showed up and I ordered another drink. As we were winding down, our waiter came over and informed us he and the bartenders shift was ending and brought us a bill for everyone. This caught a few people off guard, as they had been planning on paying separate tabs, but the waiter didn't seem interested in separating the bill. On top of that he stuck around until those who had cash covered the others and people finished electronically exchanging cash. Awkward. The view alone is worth the stop, but if going with a group, be upfront about how you expect to be billed. read more

We were seated at a half-booth, and the restaurant was very crowded because it was their first Friday night at this location. Nonetheless, we arrived early enough to be seated without a wait. I will say that the food took a very long time to arrive--40 minutes or more--but I'm chalking that up to the crowd and growing pains at the new location. Saw people out for girls night, dates, and friend groups. Everyone was having a great time and just having fun. Didn't try any food, but the hookah itself was yummy and lasted awhile. We got an ice hose which died out quickly since we were outside but it's okay. The server was friendly and they came around to check on the coals often, we didn't have to flag anyone down. This place also has bottled water, for fellow water snobs in the area :)

Unfortunately, the experience with security completely ruined the night. At one point, I stepped outside for a few minutes because the club was extremely crowded and I was feeling overheated and overwhelmed. When I tried to come back inside, the security guard told me I could not re-enter because our section was "too full." I understand that venues have capacity and safety policies, but after purchasing three bottles for a birthday celebration, I was shocked that I couldn't simply return to the section I had already paid for. What made it even more frustrating was that I was told I would have to pay another $20 to re-enter during the last hour, even though we had already spent a significant amount of money on bottle service. Even having our host come outside did not change the situation. I understand policies are policies, but there needs to be better communication and consideration for guests who are already spending a substantial amount of money at the venue. If someone temporarily steps outside for air and has already purchased bottle service, it feels extremely unfair to treat them as if they are a new customer trying to enter the club. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like the venue cared more about collecting another $20 than taking care of paying guests, the light skin African American security guard addressed this to me. I would not recommend spending money on bottle service here if you expect a high level of guest service or accommodation. Hopefully management can address how situations like this are handled in the future.
