This place is absolutely terrible. The service sucks--staff are incredibly lazy and unhelpful. You literally have to get your own water, which is ridiculous. On top of that, drinks are $25 each! Also like 5 things on the menu. For that price, you'd think you'd at least get some decent service, but nope. Don't waste your time or money here. Maybe get some more women up here, or some people who know how to fake it! I am a server I usually have an enormous amount of patience, these employees are unhappy and it shows, get another job if you don't like the one you have. A really nice space with a great view. It is indeed on a roof, but in the third floor. Too warm to really enjoy the space and the vibe is really for a younger party focused crowd. Great location and music. Lots of couch/chair sitting for a more relaxed atmosphere. There were tables and booths as well for a more traditional dining experience. Mediterranean food - i had the ceviche. - it was yummy. My friends had the hummus and feta app. It wasn't very busy clientele wise, but there was only 1 waiter, 1 bartender, and 1 manager so the food service was slow. Drink service was a bit quicker, especially following the 2 bottle of wine. Granted, it was Monday night but there was a big concert at Footprint Center scheduled so proactive scheduling would have been helpful. (Concert was canceled and rescheduled for next Tuesday). We weren't in a hurry and enjoyed our evening and stayed until close. All and all a wonderful experience. read more

Eden has a beautiful rooftop with great decor and a good view. Beyond that, it is your typical hotel rooftop bar with overpriced food and drinks. The crudo was lacking a bit in flavor. The drinks were good, but way overpriced for what you get. This was an okay place to spend on a nice day, but due to the pricing we won't be back! read more

The location and look of the place is nice but the drinks are trash. Pretty much paying for overpriced flavor mix. The service was even worse than the drinks. Had to wait 10-15 minutes between drinks for the bartender to even acknowledge us. Mind you, there were only 4 people in total at the bar with a few people walking up from the pool (9 people in total of the whole place). This review is for drinks only. Let me start off by saying the views are fabulous. See my picture. I was with a group that eventually swelled to about 11 by the time we left. There is a good drink menu, as I was told by my friends, but I stuck with beer. Prices were a bit high for beer, but the view made up for it. The bar is part of a hotel, and there is a pool on the rooftop level for guests. My only complaint was the end of our experience. People had slowly been showing up, and I had actually opened a separate tab being a late arrival, and already closed it out, before more people showed up and I ordered another drink. As we were winding down, our waiter came over and informed us he and the bartenders shift was ending and brought us a bill for everyone. This caught a few people off guard, as they had been planning on paying separate tabs, but the waiter didn't seem interested in separating the bill. On top of that he stuck around until those who had cash covered the others and people finished electronically exchanging cash. Awkward. The view alone is worth the stop, but if going with a group, be upfront about how you expect to be billed. read more

Love love love it here! This is a gorgeous rooftop bar in downtown Phoenix. I had no trouble finding it. They have an abundance of seating. Eden is separate from the hotel pool so that is good to know. They have a wide variety of very delicious cocktails. The margarita flatbread pizza was amazing. And I was just head over heels over the cupcake platter for dessert so cute and so fun. They have a great DJ and music. The staff was very sweet and helpful and attentive. I live across the street, and my neighbors wanted to try a different pool, so "Eden" is where we decided to go. They have lounge chairs, cabanas, a full bar (very attractive served), and a few seated areas with couches and tables. The setup and decór are really well done. It was fairly empty, but we were there at 11a in the morning (we were hungry). So we set up where the sun still existed near the lounge chairs and waited for our server. Once we put in our multiple drink orders, we checked out the menu. Now, this is the downfall for me and the reason for 4 stars. The menu is very simple (before 4p) - way too simple. We wanted a few finger foods to share amongst each other, and that simply was not an option. We ended up leaving early because of it. Luckily, this was our only complaint. Bottom line, this is a pretty place to go for a drink or a nice cabana experience during sunset with some fun people to get the evening started. What an awesome spot! If you are staying at the Palomar hotel, definitely come up to the third-floor and enjoy the tropical feel of this poolside bar! The drinks were amazing! They had ran out of the mixture for the Phoenix Rising but the lovely bartender remembered I had ordered it and informed me as soon as she knew that it was back on the menu! The drink was so amazing and very refreshing! The Garden of Eden was flavor packed and came with a nice punch of spice. I'm not usually and Brandy drinker, but I also ordered the Surfer Rosa while the Phoenix Rising was unavailable, And was pleasantly surprised with the sweet lightness of this drink. Both the quinoa salad with grilled chicken and the flatbread were excellent and so delicious! Went here today for the Sunday garden party brunch...I like it! The DJ is pretty good!... A tad too loud, but her spinning was a little repetitive. The food is EXCELLENT!!! It took forever to get our hummus we ordered before hand, or did can't first. The hummus came when we were close to finishing our food. My chicken club was PERFECT and TASTY!!! My friend's quinoa salsa was AMAZING, per her. The atmosphere is AMAZING and beautiful. I can only imagine what it looks like at night. The drinks were delicious too...I had the non-alcoholic, club Monaco. Service was good! We were checked on and she was thrown off by us having our food, so I think there was a mix up, but she played it, nicely. I like it, especially for it being in the neighborhood. Thanks Palomar! They were out of 2 of the beers we ordered, and the garlic shrimp, but had shrimp crudo...which we ordered but were first served tuna crudo. They did comp the tuna crudo. The server wasn't all that pleasant and service overall was slow. No music, set happy hour. No real vibe. Could be a neato place, but has improving to do. This place had a good ambiance but we couldn't get drinks here at 440 on Tuesday. We sat at a table by the bar and after like 5 min didn't see a server. No big deal so I went to the bar to get a menu and they were like "oh a server will be right with you" so I didn't get a menu and went back to my seat. Another 5 min no server. A manager came by and was like "how's it going", I was like good but can you send a server over but he was walking really fast and didn't hear me. Again no big deal. We could have been more aggro with the bartender or manager guy, but we just went somewhere else. So that's why they gettin a 2 star. The 2 for ambiance which, which was good stuff. read more
