I came here last month just for the ambience. The rooftop has a great layout and the giant Eden sign is a nice touch. The staff was nice and let me do my own thing. I did not try any food although I wish I did, but the atmosphere is definitely worth a visit read more

The location and look of the place is nice but the drinks are trash. Pretty much paying for overpriced flavor mix. The service was even worse than the drinks. Had to wait 10-15 minutes between drinks for the bartender to even acknowledge us. Mind you, there were only 4 people in total at the bar with a few people walking up from the pool (9 people in total of the whole place). I would hate to see how long the wait is when it actually full. read more

Love love love it here! This is a gorgeous rooftop bar in downtown Phoenix. I had no trouble finding it. They have an abundance of seating. Eden is separate from the hotel pool so that is good to know. They have a wide variety of very delicious cocktails. The margarita flatbread pizza was amazing. And I was just head over heels over the cupcake platter for dessert so cute and so fun. They have a great DJ and music. The staff was very sweet and helpful and attentive. Definitely already planning to come back here. read more

Bad service. Slow. Club soda with lime took too long to arrive without lime. One person waiting tables at 12:30 on a Saturday. One person bringing food from the kitchen, two plates at a time. Very slow. read more

I've always loved Palomar . It's a really nice hotel and the staff from valet to check in to the pool are always great . I work next door and wait for my Ubers In the lobby and the concierge always offers a water and even to charge my phone . I also love to stay cation here since it's pup friendly The switch for Lustre to Eden is amazing ! It was gorgeous before and even better now. The host at the pool/bar Angelito is a gem read more

Fun and cute vibe. Prices were very high, $19 for one cocktail. I ordered the phoenix rising cocktail and it was good but not really worth the price. Our server was really sweet and was working hard. A trendy spot but probably won't return, maybe for a happy hour if they do that. They do validate parking though which was nice read more

The place is nice, with a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The hostess, our waitress Amber and the busser guy were professional and friendly. The food was good for a bar - nice Middle Eastern inspired. This spot has lots of potential - they need to work out the kinks. The staff was definitely overwhelmed. Service was slow & I found myself getting up to track down our server for drinks, food, silverware, etc... The space is really great & swanky and the food when it finally did arrive was pretty good. They had only been open a month when we went and had been rained out a couple weekends so this was maybe their first busy Saturday (Suns game & WBC games going on downtown too). I'll definitely be back in some time - confident they'll get it together. read more

What an awesome spot! If you are staying at the Palomar hotel, definitely come up to the third-floor and enjoy the tropical feel of this poolside bar! The drinks were amazing! They had ran out of the mixture for the Phoenix Rising but the lovely bartender remembered I had ordered it and informed me as soon as she knew that it was back on the menu! The drink was so amazing and very refreshing! The Garden of Eden was flavor packed and came with a nice punch of spice. I'm not usually and Brandy drinker, but I also ordered the Surfer Rosa while the Phoenix Rising was unavailable, And was pleasantly surprised with the sweet lightness of this drink. Both the quinoa salad with grilled chicken and the flatbread were excellent and so delicious! I will say, the menu is a bit on the pricier side, but the attentive service and the liveliness of the atmosphere is what makes those prices worth it. read more

This rooftop bar seems a bit underrated! It's a beautiful bar with the hotel pool and cabanas/lounge areas! We only had drinks but the food coming out looked great! Went here today for the Sunday garden party brunch...I like it! The DJ is pretty good!... A tad too loud, but her spinning was a little repetitive. The food is EXCELLENT!!! It took forever to get our hummus we ordered before hand, or did can't first. The hummus came when we were close to finishing our food. My chicken club was PERFECT and TASTY!!! My friend's quinoa salsa was AMAZING, per her. The atmosphere is AMAZING and beautiful. I can only imagine what it looks like at night. The drinks were delicious too...I had the non-alcoholic, club Monaco. Service was good! We were checked on and she was thrown off by us having our food, so I think there was a mix up, but she played it, nicely. I like it, especially for it being in the neighborhood. Thanks Palomar! This place is on the 3rd floor of the hotel. The noise level was fun as well... We could hear each other. This is a win for me. read more

Cool venue, except for the screaming children at the pool. 4pm on Friday. They were out of 2 of the beers we ordered, and the garlic shrimp, but had shrimp crudo...which we ordered but were first served tuna crudo. They did comp the tuna crudo. The server wasn't all that pleasant and service overall was slow. No music, set happy hour. No real vibe. Could be a neato place, but has improving to do. Probably won't be back, maybe later night is more it's thing. read more

This place had a good ambiance but we couldn't get drinks here at 440 on Tuesday. We sat at a table by the bar and after like 5 min didn't see a server. No big deal so I went to the bar to get a menu and they were like "oh a server will be right with you" so I didn't get a menu and went back to my seat. Another 5 min no server. A manager came by and was like "how's it going", I was like good but can you send a server over but he was walking really fast and didn't hear me. Again no big deal. We could have been more aggro with the bartender or manager guy, but we just went somewhere else. So that's why they gettin a 2 star. The 2 for ambiance which, which was good stuff. read more

Despite our reservation we waited at the host stand for someone to even come over to talk to us for 15 minutes and then they tried to seat us next to the pool in an open cabana seat versus the booth we were supposed to have. There were older men in swimsuits laying out on either side of us. Not exactly what you want to see while eating. We asked to move. We were finally sat at a booth 45 minutes after our reservation time. Also, their website says "high atop" Phoenix, this rooftop bar is on floor 3. Finally online it says there is an "experience" on Sundays with a dj and a flower pop up shop and brunch bites. They have none of that, at all. No brunch food, no DJ & certainly no pop up shop. Completely false advertisement. As someone trying to entertain a friend who is here for a limited time I'm sincerely disappointed that we wasted hour coming to Phoenix for a nonexistent experience. Pretty place with potential that was executed horribly. Absolutely do not recommend wasting your time or money here. To be fair to the servers - there were literally only two of them. Really need more and I believe they were trying their best. read more

To be as professional as possible, I recommend you go to a different establishment. We came in as a party of 3 on a Thursday night with at least over 2 hours before last call. They sat us right away and there were probably only 4 other tables around. It had a great ambience and was very promising. Long story short, we ordered 3 drinks, and never got it. We waited 30 minutes and saw our server only twice the entire time. I want to emphasize that it was a slow Thursday night. After waiting all that time and being neglected by both the waiter and manager, we just left and had a better experience at the many other bars and establishments around the city. When leaving, I mentioned our dissatisfaction to the manager (or someone who appeared to be the manager) whose only response was "oh, okay". The place itself looked great! If only the staff and management were more attentive and actually cared for their customers. Anyways, come for the ambiance, stay for the drinks, wait for your drinks, wait some more, and hopefully you'll get your drinks, unlike us. read more

The vibes and views are great! Though the space is small they have maximized their use of it with booth and firepit seating. We came during final 4 Sunday (arrived late due to parking and traffic issues) so not expecting quick service by any means. We waited at the host stand for about 5 minutes without anyone walking by acknowledging our presence. Once someone said "someone will be right with you" we waited another 3 minutes or so to be greeted and sat. The service to get drinks and food was slow but the food was really good and worth the wait. I would definitely like to come any other time (not during final 4 or suns game day) to get a real feel of service. I do wish that said that they offered parking in the garage that can be comped. I ended up valeting since the game day self parking prices were inflated. No one at the hotel or restaurant answered when I called so it would be nice if it was on the website. read more

This was my first time cute hidden spot smack in the middle of downtown Phoenix. The ambiance gives you the feeling of being on an island vacay and depending on where you sit, you get a lovely view of one of Phoenix's mountain ranges. Went with a small group recently and the rooftop is pretty nice, it was in the shade most of the time. The service was extremely slow and it felt like a lot of work just to get food or drinks in. We got some of the apps and they came out ok. The beers on draft were not great overall and I was hoping for better from a local place. It felt like I was constantly trying to get the servers attention to get anything accomplished. I would not go back based on the service and they seemed very under staffed overall. read more

RSVP and reservations in my opinion should be first of the line or at least a separate line.. I would say they aren't accessible here. There are stairs everywhere and not enough ramps. Bathrooms especially aren't accessible to get to but they do offer accessible bathroom stalls. What I love about the pemberton when you go and there is not an event going on it's really nice. You have a lot of space and a variety of food to choose from. They have amazing themes that go along with their food and art. They have a restaurant with 2 stories two bars. Another thing I love is their pool! Such a fun time and a great way to have a cocktail!

The vibe is basically "Rich Grandpa's Hunting Lodge on Shrooms." There are taxidermy animals everywhere, but they're wearing jewelry or holding martini glasses, and look like they've seen things they can't unsee. It's like the animals had a coup, took over the mansion, and started a high-end cocktail program. It's dark, moody, and fancy enough that you forget you're in downtown Phoenix. In all seriousness though, I love this place and go as often as time allows.

Carry On actually called me to confirm our "tickets," which I thought was really cute. The whole experience kind of started a couple of days before our actual "departure time." They also reminded us to park in the Renaissance Square parking garage under Wren & Wolf, and they were able to validate our parking for three hours. We had to go to Wren & Wolf first to pick up our Carry On tickets. We got there early, and they let us relax in their couch area while we waited for our departure time. The walk from the Renaissance Square parking garage to Wren & Wolf was easy. You just follow the signs, and the whole walk is inside the building, which was perfect because it was so hot outside. While we were waiting, we could order drinks and chill, just like being in an airport lounge. When it was time for departure, we walked outside the building, and Carry On was right around the corner. You won't miss it because you'll see the Carry On Air flight schedule above the gate door. Right on time, we were greeted by a friendly flight attendant. Once we walked into the cabin, it really felt like we were inside a first-class flight lounge. Our flight attendant served us drinks right after we sat down, and we also ordered more cocktails and snacks from their menu. The captain spoke to us over the speaker, just like on a real flight. As we took off, we could even feel the seats moving. Looking out the "window," we saw buildings, clouds surrounding us, and even experienced turbulence I'm not going to tell you too much because I don't want to ruin the experience. I'll let you try it for yourself. I think it's definitely worth giving it a try. At least for us, we loved it.

I'm a talker, and thankfully they seemed just as happy to strike up a conversation. This isn't some fancy cocktail lounge, and that's exactly the point. It's authentic. There were people dancing at the bar, grooving in their booths, bouncing in their seats, and filling the dance floor with great energy. I came by myself, and within minutes a cool group of strangers invited me to squeeze into their booth like we'd all come together. That's the kind of place this is. At one point they even offered me a glass of beer from their pitcher. I politely declined (look at me making responsible life choices... sometimes), but then I realized almost everyone had pitchers! So I sauntered over to the bar. I did have to wait a bit; apparently chivalry doesn't extend to letting a woman cut the line, but once I reached the bartender, the service was fast and friendly. Every trip back to the bar was the same. No complaints there. As the night went on, the energy just kept building. Before I knew it, I was on the dance floor sweating, smiling, and dancing with complete strangers. After a while, I had to retreat to the patio just to catch my breath before heading back in for more. My ankles are still sore... and the glutes? Fuhgetabouttit! The best part of the night wasn't the music or even the drinks. It was the people. Every generation was represented. Every fashion style imaginable. Every personality. And somehow it all worked. There was this genuine sense of joy and community that you just don't find everywhere. If you're looking for polished and upscale, this probably isn't your spot. But if you want great music, a welcoming crowd, zero pretension, and one of those nights where you leave happier than you arrived... give Bikini Lounge a shot. I went in not knowing what to expect. As a parent, I find this extremely disappointing and frustrating. Families with infants should not have to struggle this much just to find a safe and accessible place to change their baby. I sincerely hope the restaurant addresses these issues, as the experience left us feeling very unwelcome and frustrated.

At one point, I stepped outside for a few minutes because the club was extremely crowded and I was feeling overheated and overwhelmed. When I tried to come back inside, the security guard told me I could not re-enter because our section was "too full." I understand that venues have capacity and safety policies, but after purchasing three bottles for a birthday celebration, I was shocked that I couldn't simply return to the section I had already paid for. What made it even more frustrating was that I was told I would have to pay another $20 to re-enter during the last hour, even though we had already spent a significant amount of money on bottle service. Even having our host come outside did not change the situation. I understand policies are policies, but there needs to be better communication and consideration for guests who are already spending a substantial amount of money at the venue. If someone temporarily steps outside for air and has already purchased bottle service, it feels extremely unfair to treat them as if they are a new customer trying to enter the club. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like the venue cared more about collecting another $20 than taking care of paying guests, the light skin African American security guard addressed this to me. I would not recommend spending money on bottle service here if you expect a high level of guest service or accommodation. Hopefully management can address how situations like this are handled in the future.

I don't know if this is an open secret so I won't say exactly what it is, but there's something surprising downstairs that made it more fun. Nice spot!
