I've been wanting to visit this lounge for the longest time, and I finally found the time! What's great about it is that it's made for those reaaaaaal early flights. It opens right at 4:30 AM, and honestly, the food is so much better than Escape. The lounge was super quiet with no wait at all - granted, I got there right when it opened. I immediately grabbed a seat close to the food and drinks because priorities. Lol Don't forget to check out the Airstream too by the seats "outside". They offer a different menu for breakfast and lunch, which is a fun little bonus. I'm not much of a drinker before a flight, so I didn't get to try any of the specialty cocktails. But I thought it was pretty cool that there's a QR code at each table where you can order from the bar, and they'll bring it right to you. I was honestly most impressed by the breakfast selection and how clean everything was. The bathroom was fine not a ton of stalls but for an early morning flight, this lounge is such a great option. The service is top notch -I had Antoine ask if I want anything from the breakfast bar and he can bring it to my table. He was also the kind person who checked me in. I can definitely see how this place gets packed later in the day, but if you have an early flight, it's absolutely worth checking out!

Be sure to make a reservation in the Chase app if you have status! This is very important, as all the negative reviews bellyache about wait times. We tried nearly all of it. In order of preference, a category at a time: Chicken thighs - shrimp & grits - Chkn Adovado taco (airstream both) Of the buffet veggies & sides: Farro salad -Squash, ratatouille - carrots -cold harrisa yogurt -kale/ beans - Chkn Caesar wedge salad -hummus. Desserts at buffet: meh. Except for for the dark chocolate chip cookie, which was excellent; Matcha chocolate bites (brownies) also excellent. Peroni was crispy as can be; bartenders friendly in spite of the nonstop action. "Ready for takeoff" was nice & spicy; "Jet-stream Berry" was solid also. Well-staffed and our plates were cleared away fastidiously. Loved the booth past the fireplace- a calm oasis. Food didn't quite move me, but loved the experience. 3.5, round up for good service.

Excellent experience especially if you make a reservation online ahead of time through the Chase app. I booked for 3 thinking I'd bring some friends on a Saturday at 5pm (my flight was at 7) but they ended up being at a different terminal altogether. I talked to a lovely gentleman who told me to come back at 4pm - I was likely accommodated bc I was a solo party, but I appreciated him nonetheless! Other people tried to walk in and were quoted anywhere from a 30 min to 1 hour wait. They actually seat you at a table or counter, so it's not a free-for-all seating. I was sat near the bar at a long counter facing the wall (not ideal, but fine). I had easy accessibility to power. Food was delicious and the drinks were pretty good. There was a separate area for tacos, nachos and elote; but unfortunately they were out of a few ingredients at the time I visited. I mostly frequented the bar and the buffet area. Overall, definitely worth a stop in if you have access!

The lounge at Sky Harbor is where Southwest operates, at gate D11 on the upper levels. You need the Chase Sapphire card for access, but they may have a paid one-time access: check online for rules. We went to have a calmer and quieter wait for our flight: the ambiance is quite nice, very busy at the front desk, with a dining area to the left, a pleasant bar looking outside, as well as a smaller area to the right with a few tables for sitting and make use of the buffet style offerings. Unfortunately for me everything had the dreaded Chili spicing everything; so I had the nice pearl barley with cheese, herbs and a dressing, some lemon rice that had no lemon (?) so that was sadly bland and dry. For me this food offering was disappointing... however, with my deadly allergy, I had little choice or way to change this. Perhaps the menu could include a few offers of allergy-safe foods besides catering only to peanut - a well known one- allergic people. Several wait staff were in the lounge, but none too prone to asking customers for orders: I thought drinks would be served by table service, while the food was buffet style in the area we were seated. But..the QR code at our table either didn't work or the network was slow so we couldn't order drinks; either way ordering wasn't a very smooth experience. Overall a good way to pass time before your flight. In April we had booked the lounge again, sadly the reservation made for 0600hrs was listed as evening i.e 1800hrs and others were let in while we were waiting outside to fix this issue;. We ended up leaving because it was getting to be a long wait and we were leaving from a gate far away. I truly hope the 24 hour clock gets used more - it's standard in Europe and many other countries (not just military, as some think of it) exactly to avoid these problems. The restrooms are clean, unisex, and handicap friendly; the lounge will hold your wheelchair while you're inside or call for the red-bench 'shuttle'. The airport assistance staff are great, and the service is always appreciated. My only "issue" is with that red-bench PAX shuttle used inside the terminal: the seating is extremely rigid and upright, and the ride was rough enough that I briefly wondered whether complimentary astronaut training had been added to the airport experience..... Speed is good but not becoming airborne and wondering if all my vertebrae are still there Enjoy the lounge, but don't miss your flight!

What a waste of time. Lounge is half empty. When we checked in was told we would be on a short waitlist and are first in line on the waitlist. Waited over 30 minutes and checked in again and he said he actually had no idea when we would be called in.

Finally got to visit one of the Chase Sapphire lounges! The lounge is gorgeous! Since you're assigned your seat, a host is there to escort you to your spot. Beautiful, full bar with signature cocktails. I got the Sapphire with vodka and it was so beautifully presented and delicious too. Super cute airstream that offers various Mexican bites (tacos, a bomb jalapeño corn!, guac, etc.). They also have a Mexican breakfast menu. Then there's the main area that had an assortment of salads, light sides and some simple sweets. A lot of healthier options which tasted good. Fantastic hospitality, lots of staff here. Reservations available online too, which I could see would be helpful even when it's not during peak times.

Chase Lounge in the Phoenix Airport - January 2026

I'm honestly not sure why so many reviewers have had negative experiences here, because my visit to the Chase Sapphire Lounge at PHX was a very, very pleasant surprise. I wasn't even planning on stopping by, but during a layover in Phoenix, my cat and I decided to check it out and I'm so glad we did. We were able to enter the lounge with zero wait. The only hiccup at the start was the "bouncer" at the entrance who wouldn't let us sit at a table and directed us to the bar instead. It wasn't really what I wanted at first, but it ended up working out perfectly. The bartender was fantastic and whipped up the best "sweet mocktail" I've had in a a long time! It was actually so good that I enjoyed two while I was there :) The food options were quite tasty and not just "airport good." I especially loved the Airstream located in the terminal seating area of the lounge which served up Mexican favorites like tacos, guacamole, and street corn. Fun concept (I love Airstreams!) and great flavors. The atmosphere overall was sleek and swanky. One employee even went above and beyond trying to help me track down an iPhone charger which I really appreciated. Small gestures like that go a long way. The only minor downside was that the bathroom could've used a little TLC, but it wasn't enough to take away from the experience. Between the food, drinks, service, and vibes, this lounge was an unexpected treat and a great reminder of one of the many perks of having a Chase Sapphire Reserve card. And yes... my cat enjoyed himself too - meow!

The negative reviews baffles me. I got on the wait-list and in 15 min I was in and having my free drinks and meals happily. The aesthetics is very nice and calming. The being seated by the host worked out as we were able to get an actual table. They have Bero for the non alcohol drinkers but still enjoy the taste of beer. The cocktail list is plenty and the presentation is on par to a swanky hotel lounge bar. The food options are great, a little bit of this and that, vegetarians won't be too disappointed. Don't get discouraged about getting on the wait-list, it's a process but I think it's how they organize the flow of traffic. Much better experience than most lounges.

I'm sure this might be a hot take for some, but my experience at the Sapphire Lounge was way better than AMEX. AMEX is good, but Sapphire blew it outta the park during my first visit. 10/10 and would come back if I had more visits available via the Priority Pass. Shout out to Tayah and Landon. Great drinks and service. There was a waitlist when I arrived but I only waited 30 min, so not terrible. Once checked in, they assign your seat and I sat at the bar. The food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. Thanks Chase!

Pro tip: can go into your chase app and make a reservation to the lounge so you don't have to be put on a waiting list. You can reserved up to one day in advance. We didn't know this and waited about 20 minutes before getting in. Even after waiting the lounge is not at full capacity so o think they do make an effort to make sure the lounge is comfortable to be at. Theres a decent amount of wait staff too. We were here during breakfast and they really try to make seating comfortable so not all tables are filled even with a waitlist. We were seated next to the airstream that has tacos and Mexican food. The breakfast chorizo tacos were solid and they have a variety of hot sauces to pair with. Different from other Chase Lounges, the table ordering is only for wine and beer. Other cocktails you have to go to the bar and there's no to-order food menu. For breakfast, the food ideas were ok - breakfast baos, croissant Monte Cristo sandwich and sweet potato scramble. All tasted pretty good and fresh. The spa water is slightly carbonated and the glass I took had a crack on the rim which I didn't notice until after taking a drink so something to be mindful of with self-serving.

Stopped here on a layover. We didn't realize it, but this lounge accepts reservations. However, they have to be made 24 hours in advance. We didn't know that, so we just hoped for the best. When we got there, there was a wait for entry. We put our name in. Unfortunately, the woman taking reservations wasn't very helpful in giving an estimate of how long it would be. She did say there were 6 parties ahead of us. The wait ended up only being about 10 minutes. They text you and give you 10 minutes to get back to the lounge. Once inside, we realized why they take reservations. It's a very small lounge, so I would suggest making a reservation in advance. They take you to a table reserved for you. I liked this. No hunting for a table. The lounge was very comfortable with WiFi and electric outlets. The experience ended up being very positive. The staff and service were 5 stars. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was better than other Chase lounges I've been to. They have a taco "truck" inside the lounge. Serving two types of tacos, street corn, chips, salsa, and guac. We tried a little of everything. It was all excellent. They also have a buffet with many options. They had these "kitchen sink" cookies that were so good. If you see them, make sure you try them! Bathroom review: There are two private gender neutral restrooms with baby changing stations and a luggage rack inside the lounge. They were very clean and a nice amenity to have in the craziness of an airport.

The Sapphire Lounge is a Chase-branded airport lounge located in the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. It's located in Terminal 4 near Gate D11 and is primarily used by Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers who have complimentary access. However, Priority Pass holders are allowed access to a Chase lounge once per year and we used ours here. The space is 3,500 square feet and has a retrofitted airstream trailer built into the lounge. The interior was modern with a bar area in the middle, an area for drinks and food, and had nicely designed and clean restrooms. We arrived at 6am for a layover and were able to get in immediately without reservations. However, depending on when you go it can get very busy. It's definitely a small airport lounge and during busier times I can see why people would be frustrated about the long waits. They had a good selection of cocktails, beers, and wine. For drinks I ordered the sapphire (their signature cocktail) which was really good. I also ordered the desert jewel which was dry, spirit-forward, and martini-like. They had the typical breakfast fare which was decent but limited and could've been better. The workers were very friendly and welcoming here even at 6am when I was half asleep walking in like a zombie. We really liked that we could use the clean restrooms to freshen up after a red-eye flight. Overall I had a good experience here.

I got a heads up to make a reservation if I visit the Phoenix Chase Sapphire Lounge. I'm glad I did because people were being told that it was a 2-3 hour wait. I get why, it's not their largest lounge. In fact it may be their smallest. After checking in, I was escorted to a table across from the airstream. It's an open lounge so you can hear the activity at the food court across the way, though it didn't bother me that much. Food was ok, and the cooked to order tacos were my favorite. The cookies and biscotti were disappointing- tasted stale or over baked. You can order beer and wine at your table with the QR code, but everything else you order at the bar (weird). However, the bartenders are excellent at their craft and drinks were great. While I enjoy some of the other Chase lounges more, this is fine for what it is. Just plan ahead (use the Chase app to make a reservation) and you'll be fine.

The chicken tenders were fire!!! What is lacking on this occasion was service. The server that we had was so unattentative. I have never been in a cocktail lounge in my life and had to beg for drinks. Our server would wait until every drinks was made for all of her tables before bringing out drinks. It was ridiculous. She was nice but seemed high. I ended up only having 2 drinks. We would have ordered more but they have 90min max seating and we didn't event get drinks for the first 30min. No exaggeration. Also one of my drinks I had to send back. My apple martini tasted like soap. It was like they did clean the glass after giving a soap bath. No bueno. So they need to get their service to match the vibe of a true cocktails lounge. Yes it is a 70s vibe but doesn't mean the lackadaisical style service. I would come back and try again. The music, the atmosphere and the food was good. They gotta get these cocktails together and service. We ended up walking to nearby competitors and that was money lost for DDG.

We called about half hour before and made a reservation by phone. I was disappointed that my first order choice of the Seabass was unavailable and my second choice of lamb chops was also unavailable. Not sure if this is because it was a Sunday night and/or we made the reservation immediately before showing up. They were also out of the Melted Cast-Iron Brie Small Plate that we were excited about ordering for the table. We loved this restaurant because of the dark and jungle-themed interior. We were excited to see the bold taxidermy featuring the large cats combined with the ornate, gold- framed dapper animal art hanging on the walls. Another reason to love this spot: hidden inside is an entrance to a secret cocktail lounge, or speakeasy, called "Drop Dead Gorgeous." We also appreciated the entire restaurant centering around a glowing, raw wood-fire cooking pit. We could hear and watch our entrées being prepared. What we didn't love so much: the items that we would've liked to have ordered were unavailable. The price to portion ratio in the small bites could also be improved a bit. Great service from our waitress throughout the evening. We ordered: - Fire Roasted Bone Marrow for the table (3/5) - sourdough toast, jalapeño marmalade with demi. I was so excited to try bone marrow for the first time. It was interesting. Sort of like a mix between butter and fat from a steak. It tasted really good with the spicy jalapeño jelly and bread provided. I expected us to be warm and it came out cold. Still not sure if I like it or not. Maybe I'll give it a second try - White Oak Grilled Chicken Skewers (4/5) - served with shiso leaves, kimchi, shishito peppers. kosho aioli, lemon aioli, ssamjung for the table - Very yummy. We enjoyed these. We had actually changed our mind right after initially putting in the milk bread order for the table and they brought out the milk bread so quickly that our waitress said she would give this to us on the house. - Milk Bread for the table (4/5) - miso tomato butter, almond & Kalamata. Even though we changed our mind and got this sent to our table accidentally, I would order this again. It was very delicious and it comes out as an adorable little tomato shaped and colored milk bread with the toppings looking like the stem on top. So tasty and everybody loved it. A little small for our party of five. - Lemongrass Half Chicken (5/5) - Caramelized carrots, kyoto roasted garlic, mashed potatoes & jalapeno jam. Hubs loved this. He said everything was delicious and went well together. - Bomba Rice x2 (5/5) - Risotto, shrimp, linguica, chicken, piquillo peppers, green peas, kosher aioli & Parmesan. My son and his girlfriend both ordered this and said it was very good. - Shishito Caesar Salad add Chicken Skewers (5/5) - bonito, charred shishito peppers, ricotta salata, tapioca chicharron & togarashi. My daughter ordered this and said it was very good. - Spicy Peanut & Tomato Salad add Chicken Skewers (5/5) - peanut dressing, heirloom tomato, baby gem, daikon radish, onion, mala chile, whipped queso de cabra & sour nut. YUMMMM What a creative and unique salad! So glad I tried it. It has unique flavors that work well with each other and a crunch. There's also some heat that goes along with the salad. I was able to withstand it. My son would probably say it's not spicy at all. I'll be craving this salad for months to come. - Dad or Daddy Specialty Cocktail - bright, buzzed & stoned vodka, apricot liqueur, Riesling cordial, ginger, lime, topped with Red Bull Peach Edition (White Peach) - Fruity Mocktail - I asked the waitress if they had any mocktails and she asked me what I liked and gave me examples. Based on what I told her she brought me out a delicious fruity mocktail topped with fresh mint. Parking along the street at metered parking or in parking garage nearby. A few streets away from Tempe Town Lake.

I had to grab the bartender's attention to order my second drink and to close out. It was a week day and they weren't busy. And there were two bartenders. A lack of attentiveness. When I closed out, I noticed that the cocktails were both $2 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the menus were outdated... umm what? If you're not going to re-print your menus, give people a heads-up when they arrive. I understand that most people won't notice, but this is deception. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet. If you're trying to eat here, all they have is snacks. The menu doesn't specify but I'm thinking it's probably chips or somethign like that. Drinks (4/5): A lengthy, and interesting, cocktail list. Similar to a speakeasy, you're going to see creativity and an interesting blend of flavors here. The most popular drink is Fuck Nazis. We're seeing a theme here. KWSC is an interesting spot. For various dollar amounts, you can get funny things outside of the polaroids of your bum. My first cocktail was great. My second one, a tiki drink, not so much. The menu said that there would be some flame action happening. It didn't. Just another example of the service falling short. If the service were better, Killer Whale Sex Club would easily be a five-star experience.

The atmosphere was unique, the bartenders were genuinely engaging, and there was a real sense of community that made every visit memorable. It became my go-to spot to bring friends from out of town and every single person I brought absolutely loved it! Back then, the cocktails felt intentional and creative, not just rushed out for volume. The staff remembered regulars, conversations flowed naturally, and the whole place had this warm, eclectic energy that made you want to stay for hours. Even on busy nights, it somehow still felt personal. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the vibe has changed quite a bit. The drinks just aren't as consistently good as they used to be, especially considering the prices now. Service feels far more transactional and impersonal, and the atmosphere that once made this place stand out has faded into something much more generic. It feels less like a neighborhood gem and more like a stop on a nightlife circuit.

It's the kind of restaurant that makes getting dressed up feel exciting and worth it, and I absolutely loved that about the experience. It felt like such a perfect date night spot or place to celebrate something special. The servers were also extremely attentive the entire night. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. Honestly, I'm sitting here craving the food again just looking back at the pictures I took. This is definitely one of those restaurants that sticks in your mind long after you leave.

The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.

Upon walking in, the place was packed and we stood in line at the bar for standing room only. The bartenders were friendly and the cocktail list was pretty interesting. Both of the drinks we got off the menu were bitter and NOT sweet, which is bad news for me cause I love a sweet drink! lol The bartender was able to make me a lychee mojito after I asked specifically for any flavored syrups they had. She was very sweet to check what flavors they have and gave me several different options. My boyfriend got some whiskey and they gave a hefty pour. We ended up snagging some seats at the bar and ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza. Love that you can buy slices individually here, including cheese pep and dill pickle - how fun, will definitely try this next time! Overall, nice chill dive bar with good food and drinks. Ambiance is very moody but fun. They also have old school darts! We'll be back :)

Only thing I'd say is the pretzel bites with cheese dip is wayyyy too spicy and should say on the menu it's more of a nacho cheese not beer cheese. Other then that love this place :)))

Even waiting outside for our reservation we were having a great time feeling like we were at a 1930's train stop. I heard about this place from my brother, and went a couple of years ago, and could not wait to take my boyfriend here. The service is absolutely PHENOMENAL! They walk you through the menu, the experience, as well as guide you if you're not sure what you want to drink. We ordered several drinks and they were all so creative and fun! My favorite was the tea with the lit lavender "cigarette." It added to the ambiance and overall experience. We also ordered the trip of snacks tray and several other drinks. Although this place is pretty pricey, there is nowhere is like it and it's WELL worth the cost! Get reservations early and don't skip this amazing, creative, and inventive bar!

Only downside is that…read morefor some reason Apple maps was not accurate to finding the location and parking was a challenge as it is right on Roosevelt Row. However as soon as I found it and immediately after entering Pretty Penny I was transformed to the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted immediately and had made a reservation so even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, they sat me down. They instantly offered water and menus (food and cocktail). I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!

To start, the menu is a bit puzzling. It's kind of like a handful of Asian-inspired dishes, a handful of Mexican/South American, and a handful of French or New American. But there's not enough of each to chart a course through one type of cuisine. So, basically you're gonna have a cultural melange meal. Hamachi crudo was really good and fairly unique. The halibut was excellently prepared but not particularly innovative in any way I could tell. Zucchini had goat cheese, which wasn't immediately clear from the description, so I didn't enjoy the rude surprise I got when I took my first bite, and didn't eat anymore, as I really despise the stuff. So that was a waste. Not a dig on the dish, just a personal thing I wish I had more notice of. There were other issues though. The wine list was exceptionally small, They were out of the bread, which is supposedly a must-try. And then we were going to get the steak but the folks next to us advised against it, showing their cut that had zero fat. They said it was leather. On that point, the tables are SUPER CLOSE. Like, a couple inches apart. You hear everything and almost can't avoid getting entwined into others' conversation. We liked the people we were next to, but be aware that it's an unintentionally awkward communal experience that's not well-suited to a date night. The service was pretty good, they put out a nice printed greeting with the reservation name, and give you a sparkling wine toast. But considering the price and overall experience we had, I'd pass and not come back.
