From my experience at other Chase Sapphire lounges, my expectations were high, even though I knew this one was smaller. In line with expectations, this location has creative buffet food, great looking cocktails (though it was too early on my visit to try), and good service. The drawbacks are about the smaller space. It's beautifully designed but weirdly open to the terminal. Unlike the other Sapphire lounges, there's no food to order from the menu. We got in early just before the line started forming. Reservations through the Chase app are a great option, but only available at least 24 hours in advance. There is little hope for a non-Chase Priority Pass holder to get in except at the very quietest times of day. read more

Looks great, but the access experience was frustrating. I was told the wait would be over an hour, even though there was no visible line and plenty of open seats inside. I understand managing capacity, but this felt less like crowd control and more like intentionally limiting access to make the lounge feel exclusive. That might work as branding, but it's not very useful when you're dealing with travelers in an airport. I've tried to use this lounge more than once, and each time the wait has been long enough that I had to leave for my flight before getting in. On one visit, I even asked if I could at least get a cup of water while waiting and was told no because of policy. That's a bad look for a premium travel lounge. The lounge at Sky Harbor is where Southwest operates, at gate D11 on the upper levels. You need the Chase Sapphire card for access, but they may have a paid one-time access: check online for rules. We went to have a calmer and quieter wait for our flight: the ambiance is quite nice, very busy at the front desk, with a dining area to the left, a pleasant bar looking outside, as well as a smaller area to the right with a few tables for sitting and make use of the buffet style offerings. Unfortunately for me everything had the dreaded Chili spicing everything; so I had the nice pearl barley with cheese, herbs and a dressing, some lemon rice that had no lemon (?) so that was sadly bland and dry. For me this food offering was disappointing... however, with my deadly allergy, I had little choice or way to change this. Perhaps the menu could include a few offers of allergy-safe foods besides catering only to peanut - a well known one- allergic people. Several wait staff were in the lounge, but none too prone to asking customers for orders: I thought drinks would be served by table service, while the food was buffet style in the area we were seated. But..the QR code at our table either didn't work or the network was slow so we couldn't order drinks; either way ordering wasn't a very smooth experience. Overall a good way to pass time before your flight. In April we had booked the lounge again, sadly the reservation made for 0600hrs was listed as evening i.e 1800hrs and others were let in while we were waiting outside to fix this issue;. We ended up leaving because it was getting to be a long wait and we were leaving from a gate far away. I truly hope the 24 hour clock gets used more - it's standard in Europe and many other countries (not just military, as some think of it) exactly to avoid these problems. The restrooms are clean, unisex, and handicap friendly; the lounge will hold your wheelchair while you're inside or call for the red-bench 'shuttle'. The airport assistance staff are great, and the service is always appreciated. My only "issue" is with that red-bench PAX shuttle used inside the terminal: the seating is extremely rigid and upright, and the ride was rough enough that I briefly wondered whether complimentary astronaut training had been added to the airport experience..... I've been wanting to visit this lounge for the longest time, and I finally found the time! What's great about it is that it's made for those reaaaaaal early flights. It opens right at 4:30 AM, and honestly, the food is so much better than Escape. The lounge was super quiet with no wait at all - granted, I got there right when it opened. I immediately grabbed a seat close to the food and drinks because priorities. Lol Don't forget to check out the Airstream too by the seats "outside". They offer a different menu for breakfast and lunch, which is a fun little bonus. I'm not much of a drinker before a flight, so I didn't get to try any of the specialty cocktails. But I thought it was pretty cool that there's a QR code at each table where you can order from the bar, and they'll bring it right to you. I was honestly most impressed by the breakfast selection and how clean everything was. The bathroom was fine not a ton of stalls but for an early morning flight, this lounge is such a great option. In order of preference, a category at a time: Chicken thighs - shrimp & grits - Chkn Adovado taco (airstream both) Of the buffet veggies & sides: Farro salad -Squash, ratatouille - carrots -cold harrisa yogurt -kale/ beans - Chkn Caesar wedge salad -hummus. Desserts at buffet: meh. Except for for the dark chocolate chip cookie, which was excellent; Matcha chocolate bites (brownies) also excellent. Peroni was crispy as can be; bartenders friendly in spite of the nonstop action. "Ready for takeoff" was nice & spicy; "Jet-stream Berry" was solid also. Well-staffed and our plates were cleared away fastidiously. Loved the booth past the fireplace- a calm oasis. Excellent experience especially if you make a reservation online ahead of time through the Chase app. I booked for 3 thinking I'd bring some friends on a Saturday at 5pm (my flight was at 7) but they ended up being at a different terminal altogether. I talked to a lovely gentleman who told me to come back at 4pm - I was likely accommodated bc I was a solo party, but I appreciated him nonetheless! Other people tried to walk in and were quoted anywhere from a 30 min to 1 hour wait. They actually seat you at a table or counter, so it's not a free-for-all seating. I was sat near the bar at a long counter facing the wall (not ideal, but fine). I had easy accessibility to power. Food was delicious and the drinks were pretty good. There was a separate area for tacos, nachos and elote; but unfortunately they were out of a few ingredients at the time I visited. I mostly frequented the bar and the buffet area. Finally got to visit one of the Chase Sapphire lounges! The lounge is gorgeous! Since you're assigned your seat, a host is there to escort you to your spot. Beautiful, full bar with signature cocktails. I got the Sapphire with vodka and it was so beautifully presented and delicious too. Super cute airstream that offers various Mexican bites (tacos, a bomb jalapeño corn!, guac, etc.). They also have a Mexican breakfast menu. Then there's the main area that had an assortment of salads, light sides and some simple sweets. A lot of healthier options which tasted good. Fantastic hospitality, lots of staff here. Reservations available online too, which I could see would be helpful even when it's not during peak times. read more

I'm honestly not sure why so many reviewers have had negative experiences here, because my visit to the Chase Sapphire Lounge at PHX was a very, very pleasant surprise. I wasn't even planning on stopping by, but during a layover in Phoenix, my cat and I decided to check it out and I'm so glad we did. We were able to enter the lounge with zero wait. The only hiccup at the start was the "bouncer" at the entrance who wouldn't let us sit at a table and directed us to the bar instead. It wasn't really what I wanted at first, but it ended up working out perfectly. The bartender was fantastic and whipped up the best "sweet mocktail" I've had in a a long time! It was actually so good that I enjoyed two while I was there :) The food options were quite tasty and not just "airport good." I especially loved the Airstream located in the terminal seating area of the lounge which served up Mexican favorites like tacos, guacamole, and street corn. Fun concept (I love Airstreams!) and great flavors. The atmosphere overall was sleek and swanky. One employee even went above and beyond trying to help me track down an iPhone charger which I really appreciated. Small gestures like that go a long way. The only minor downside was that the bathroom could've used a little TLC, but it wasn't enough to take away from the experience. AMEX is good, but Sapphire blew it outta the park during my first visit. 10/10 and would come back if I had more visits available via the Priority Pass. Shout out to Tayah and Landon. The negative reviews baffles me. I got on the wait-list and in 15 min I was in and having my free drinks and meals happily. The aesthetics is very nice and calming. The being seated by the host worked out as we were able to get an actual table. They have Bero for the non alcohol drinkers but still enjoy the taste of beer. The cocktail list is plenty and the presentation is on par to a swanky hotel lounge bar. The food options are great, a little bit of this and that, vegetarians won't be too disappointed. Stopped here on a layover. We didn't realize it, but this lounge accepts reservations. However, they have to be made 24 hours in advance. We didn't know that, so we just hoped for the best. When we got there, there was a wait for entry. We put our name in. Unfortunately, the woman taking reservations wasn't very helpful in giving an estimate of how long it would be. She did say there were 6 parties ahead of us. The wait ended up only being about 10 minutes. They text you and give you 10 minutes to get back to the lounge. Once inside, we realized why they take reservations. It's a very small lounge, so I would suggest making a reservation in advance. They take you to a table reserved for you. I liked this. No hunting for a table. The lounge was very comfortable with WiFi and electric outlets. The experience ended up being very positive. The staff and service were 5 stars. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was better than other Chase lounges I've been to. They have a taco "truck" inside the lounge. Serving two types of tacos, street corn, chips, salsa, and guac. We tried a little of everything. It was all excellent. They also have a buffet with many options. They had these "kitchen sink" cookies that were so good. If you see them, make sure you try them! Bathroom review: There are two private gender neutral restrooms with baby changing stations and a luggage rack inside the lounge. Pro tip: can go into your chase app and make a reservation to the lounge so you don't have to be put on a waiting list. You can reserved up to one day in advance. We didn't know this and waited about 20 minutes before getting in. Even after waiting the lounge is not at full capacity so o think they do make an effort to make sure the lounge is comfortable to be at. Theres a decent amount of wait staff too. We were here during breakfast and they really try to make seating comfortable so not all tables are filled even with a waitlist. We were seated next to the airstream that has tacos and Mexican food. The breakfast chorizo tacos were solid and they have a variety of hot sauces to pair with. Different from other Chase Lounges, the table ordering is only for wine and beer. Other cocktails you have to go to the bar and there's no to-order food menu. For breakfast, the food ideas were ok - breakfast baos, croissant Monte Cristo sandwich and sweet potato scramble. All tasted pretty good and fresh. The Sapphire Lounge is a Chase-branded airport lounge located in the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. It's located in Terminal 4 near Gate D11 and is primarily used by Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers who have complimentary access. However, Priority Pass holders are allowed access to a Chase lounge once per year and we used ours here. The space is 3,500 square feet and has a retrofitted airstream trailer built into the lounge. The interior was modern with a bar area in the middle, an area for drinks and food, and had nicely designed and clean restrooms. We arrived at 6am for a layover and were able to get in immediately without reservations. However, depending on when you go it can get very busy. It's definitely a small airport lounge and during busier times I can see why people would be frustrated about the long waits. They had a good selection of cocktails, beers, and wine. For drinks I ordered the sapphire (their signature cocktail) which was really good. I also ordered the desert jewel which was dry, spirit-forward, and martini-like. They had the typical breakfast fare which was decent but limited and could've been better. The workers were very friendly and welcoming here even at 6am when I was half asleep walking in like a zombie. We really liked that we could use the clean restrooms to freshen up after a red-eye flight. Overall I had a good experience here. read more

I got a heads up to make a reservation if I visit the Phoenix Chase Sapphire Lounge. I'm glad I did because people were being told that it was a 2-3 hour wait. I get why, it's not their largest lounge. In fact it may be their smallest. After checking in, I was escorted to a table across from the airstream. It's an open lounge so you can hear the activity at the food court across the way, though it didn't bother me that much. Food was ok, and the cooked to order tacos were my favorite. The cookies and biscotti were disappointing- tasted stale or over baked. You can order beer and wine at your table with the QR code, but everything else you order at the bar (weird). However, the bartenders are excellent at their craft and drinks were great. While I enjoy some of the other Chase lounges more, this is fine for what it is. Like other reviewers said , you are definitely not giving priority as priority pass members- like Sapphire Reserve members. Food is pretty good and the services is great. I was going to use the restroom to get ready and put my makeup on for the flight but there's only two bathrooms and their gender neutral and people were waiting so I was very rushed. This lounge is so nice!!! I loved being walked to our reserved table and not having to wander to find a place to seat! There is a buffet area as well a cute mini food truck. Loved the variety and quality of food. The breakfast bao was my favorite! And the staff were all proactive in offering help anytime I looked lost and certainly cleared plates very quickly. I feel like this is how a well run lounge should be like, resulting in a relaxed environment for the guest vs the Wild Wild West where we have a shoot out to find a place to sit or get the last morsel of food. First time at this lounge in PHX. Didn't think ahead and make a reservation in the Chase app at least a day in advance. Checked in anyhow and they couldn't give a good estimate of the wait time, being 40 mins to over an hour on a Friday afternoon. Once inside I could see the size of this lounge is sorta small and more like one of various Priority Pass lounges with partly being open to the terminal. They also have numbered tables that they assign upon checkin. They have a nice "taco truck" type setup with yummy tacos and chips. Also a buffet style setup with various options. The food quality is noticeably better, creative and fresh, even if it doesn't quite reach luxury levels. The interior design is modern and vibey, but not very cozy. Most of the seats are hard bar stools. That said, space is limited and seating can be tight during peak times. The food truck concept is fun, but it's disappointing that there weren't any vegetarian options for lunch. On the plus side, the drink program is excellent; upgraded soft drinks, cold brew on tap, and a genuinely interesting mocktail menu that makes it easy to skip the alcohol without feeling like you're missing out. Wi-Fi worked great throughout, which is a must for getting work done. Wow, judging from the other reviews, YMMV, but I'm happy to report that my party of 2 had a fine experience in our recent (July 2025) visit to this smaller Chase Sapphire Lounge in PHX. After getting up at 4a in the morning for a 2-leg flight from AUS to SFO, and a 1 hour delay added to our originally 2 hour layover, we were thrilled to have a relatively quiet spot to chill, freshen up, eat a decent meal, and be served by a friendly team of hospitality pros. This lounge is located in Terminal 4 near gate D11. With the excellent moving sidewalk system in PHX, we had no trouble quickly making our way from C17 over there and back with plenty of time to spare after hanging out for an hour or so. Drinks were great, food was varied & tasty, bartender was sweet, restrooms were clean. I was more than happy with our layover visit, enough to recommend that my husband keep this one in mind the next time he has a 1-stop flight pausing in PHX. I'll concede, this space is small compared to most other airport lounges, but the decor is pretty, everything is fresh & clean, and there is ample natural light from the large wall of windows behind the bar. If you aren't a minimalist onebag traveler, it may be tight getting a lot of bulky baggage in here & finding room to store it while you lounge. A good tip I picked up from other reviewers is to reserve your seats in advance through the Chase Mobile app (14 days to 24 hours before your visit) - this will minimize your wait time to enter. We did not do this, but our wait to enter at 8:30a on a weekday was only 20 minutes. We sat in the large sofas across from the entrance while we waited for the text message to beckon us over. An extra note: I was traveling with a family member guest who has special needs, including communication differences and mobility challenges. The team at this lounge was nothing but kind and accommodating for us, making sure we were sat at an accessible table and serving my family member with dignity and respect. We scheduled our spot thru the Chase app for 8:30M on the day of our flight to Hawaii - looks like they allow booking of 6 people in advance per 30 minute time slot. HIGHLY recommend you do this; else you'll be most likely put on a waitlist (even if they have seats available for traffic flow). It's not a big lounge but they show you to a seat vs leaving you wandering around trying to find a spot. It also helps so you don't have a single taking up a four too. I found the food pretty creative and tasty. They are all small plates in the buffet area or you can order at the airstream for a breakfast taco or grain bowl (breakfast time). TIP- at the airstream - order and wait there- they will not deliver it to you and will give it away to the next person ordering. There is a QR code on the table and you can order beer/wine thru it. If you want a cocktail- you must go to the bar to order. It's designed strangely- very long and narrow. The buffet area is square- so it's awkward. My suggestion would be to flip the long bar seating area for a linear buffet and make the buffet area seating. Staff were all friendly except the guy working in the airstream. Decided to check out the Sapphire lounge in T4, but couldn't get in. Took the sky tram over, went through security, made my way to the lounge, and was then told the wait would be a min of 60m (prob longer) bc of 10-15 ppl ahead of me (most of whom were reserve members who have significant priority over priority pass members). Having been to the beautiful San Diego Sapphire Reserve Lounge at SAN, I was slightly underwhelmed by the lounge in Phoenix. I kind of feel sorry for this location, because the airport was never built to have lounges, unlike San Diego. Nevertheless, the staff was very kind and gracious and the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the space was not as nice as it could have been. But that was mostly a problem with the airport itself. I enjoyed several bites and even a couple of beers. All on the house! A relaxing lounge and a great place to spend your time between flights in the Phoenix Airport. This lounge is nice. It's cozy and personal. After you check-in at the front desk, Ashley will take you to an open table. That's a nice touch rather than having to run around the lounge trying to find a seat and a table. We sat at a table without any outlets, so they quickly brought us a charging station that worked great. They also gave me and my wife a beautiful luggage tag when we checked-in! Great customer service here. The bartenders are super friendly and they make some delicious craft cocktails. My Margarita was wonderful and included Cointreau. The food is good here, but it is all self-service. Don't miss the food area on the backside of the lounge in the Airstream! It appears they are currently expanding. What a lovely place here in the Phoenix airport. We were given free beautiful luggage tags when we entered- and there is ample seating. First impression- there "may" be more servers/ workers here in the lounge than there are guests! They keep this place sparkling clean and it's fun to explore the main buffet station as well as the airstream cart around the corner. Food is inspired fusion and tasty, as are the drinks. What a nice experience while waiting in between flights. Also a very thoughtful young man brought us a portable phone charger to use! Phoenix finally has a Sapphire Lounge! It looks like they still may be building it out, but as it sits, it's not on par with other lounge locations. They do not offer amenities like facials, games, or relaxation areas. To sum it up - It's basically a priority pass lounge with better atmosphere and service with a smile. Hopefully, they have more underway to level up the experience. The ambiance serves the expected black and gold theme, and the cocktails are still top tier. Service is prompt and staff are friendly. My favorite area was the impressive fireplace nook. When we arrived, there was a short wait for admission despite having plenty of available tables when we got in. The space feels a bit smaller than most basic priority pass lounges. It's a narrow, galley style design, and the bathroom is just a single stall for everyone. While they have a quaint airstream trailer serving minimal options, I wish they offered the chef-prepared dishes like other locations. Pretty decent lounge in PHX. A few small bites to select from and sodas and juices. Some desserts as well. It's not a big space, but it was nicely laid out. For sure not set up for lounging around. Sit at the high tops and you can plane watch on the tarmac. Don't miss out on the additional eats at the Airstream around the corner. After months of walking by the "Coming Soon, Sapphire Lounge" signage, I was thankful that it was open during some Holiday Travel. Being a certain card member clearly has some privileges so I didn't complain. The staff when I approached, let me know the details, and I was quickly checked in (immediately). I decided to grab a spot around the corner on the patio so I could do some prep work for the plane. Enjoyed the breakfast offering (courtesy of "The Larder & The Delta") & my cocktails from the bar. On deck, they had Breakfast taco's and Grain Bowl. I had 2 of the Breakfast tacos and they were good. Had to live with the peppers as it was part of the mix, but it wasn't overpowering. Other items were available to grab in the main dining area along with a good variety of beverages. The staff was great, and for those who travel frequently, this is a decent setup for Terminal 4. I was expecting it to be a lot bigger like some of the major cities I travel to, and there were only 2 bathrooms, so I had to wait longer than expected. Glad to have the lounge available, some areas for improvement with the take and go items, but nothing negative. read more

Really solid lounge experience at PHX. The design and ambiance feel upscale without trying too hard -- it's a sleek, modern space that's a nice escape from the chaos of the terminal. I loved the fact that they actually seat you when you check in, so you're not circling the room like a hawk waiting for someone to leave (looking at you, other lounges). Drinks were top-notch -- great selection and well-made cocktails. The service was also friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Only knock? The seating. It looks nice, but after a little while, it's just not that comfortable. I get wanting a certain aesthetic, but a little more cushion wouldn't hurt. Overall though, I'd definitely come back -- it's one of the better airport lounge experiences I've had in a while. read more

Sapphire Lounge - Airport Lounges Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I've been excited to try out a Capital One lounge, so much so, that I've resorted to watching YouTube reviews... so I kinda knew what to expect. The vibe was cool, somewhat exclusive, and the bar was operating at full capacity. However, the take and go items were a little underwhelming, yet tasty. They have a cook to order airstream, with 4 items on that menu. It beats sitting in a food court or at the gate, but it's not the best part of holding a Sapphire card. That honor is reserved for the primary insurance rider for when you rent a car. That's like a $30/day savings. Now I'm looking forward to international Sapphire lounges, which uniformly rated higher on the videos I've watched. read more

Sapphire Lounge - Take and go items - Airport Lounges Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

The Phoenix Sapphire Lounge is kind of hit and miss. The hit is that the food and drink are pretty good, and I'd rather eat here than the Centurion Lounge. The miss is that it's tiny, it's not peaceful at all as you have all the noise from the terminal, and I find their employees less than friendly due to so many people trying to get in. They've made a step in the right direction, though, allowing reservations so at least I won't spend my entire layover waiting to not even get in like I have in the past. read more

This lounge gets a bad rep for two legitimate reasons: (1) the space is really tight and (2) a wait time is almost guaranteed with wait times a bit all over the place. Nonetheless, we still had an excellent experience and time. I'm not sure who decided that was the best spot for a Chase Sapphire Lounge - and perhaps they didn't have a choice - but I have to believe they could've done better. I will say, given the space constraints, they probably did as best as they could in designing and arranging the space, but it's quite tight with not much room to move around. The food was excellent with local flavors infused or at the forefront. I could've eaten for hours there (and might have just done that). Unlike some of the other Sapphire Lounges, this one only has food at the takeaway stations (rather than ordering), but it was all solid. The drinks were excellent as well with several unique cocktails and a wealth of options to select from across the board. Top notch on both fronts. I do see where you can now reserve ahead, so I'm not sure exactly how that works but definitely check that out ahead of time. That might help the wait time issue, which was really the only major issue. read more
