I love trying new places during Restaurant Week, and Seven at Caesars Republic instantly caught my eye as the perfect spot for a cute and casual date night. The entire hotel is stunning, and the restaurant sits high above Scottsdale with incredible views and an upscale yet welcoming vibe. Our server was friendly, informative, and made navigating the Restaurant Week menu super easy. For our first course, we started with the ceviche--tiger shrimp, mango, serrano, lime zest, heirloom tomato, and house-made tortilla chips. Fresh, bright, and absolutely delicious. For the second course, I had the pesto pappardelle with sun-dried tomato, asparagus, mozzarella, and a creamy pesto sauce. I'm usually not big on pesto, but this one won me over. I probably would've preferred it without the asparagus, but that's just personal taste. My boyfriend went with the chipotle short rib tostada, and it was packed with flavor--every component from the crema to the corn salsa worked beautifully together. I also tried the S'mores Espresso Martini, and WOW--it easily ranks in my top 5. Creamy, bold, and dessert-worthy all on its own. By the time dessert came around, we were too full to eat it there, so we took it to go--but even then, it was still delicious later. I'll definitely be back. We dined at Seven while staying at Caesars Republic. Overall, the experience was good, but nothing that really stood out. We ordered two appetizers, but only one was brought to the table. The other was the Wagyu sliders which even our server said were her favorite, but she forgot to bring them. She apologized and took it off the bill, which we appreciated. I had the flat iron steak, ordered medium rare, but it came out closer to medium well. My boyfriend had the sea bass and said he's definitely had better elsewhere. The highlight was dessert, the seven-layer cake was rich and delicious. Also, the views of Camelback Mountain are gorgeous and worth soaking in. I'm glad we tried it once since we were already staying at the hotel, but with all the amazing dining options in Scottsdale, I'm not sure we'd go back. read more

I have been wanting to try this restaurant since the hotel opened. Went there for lunch the other day and It was everything I expected from the view to the service to the food. The ambience is beautiful the layout of the restaurant from the bar to the dining room to the lounge area everything is great. The food was amazing. We had a few different appetizers, but the spinach dip was the superstar and if you like spinach dip, I highly recommend you go try theirs. This was my first visit! We came to celebrate a family friend for her birthday. Cocktails were yummy! I requested a cucumber vodka, lime and mint with a splash of soda. No fuss, they made it right in front of me, upon request. We showed up a bit later so I only got an appetizer. Hamburger slider- delicious by the way! Roof top was easily accessible. Beautiful view. Seven recovered with me today... But - it's because Brianna and Nina provided such STELLAR service. My friend wanted a rooftop pool to celebrate her birthday. After much deliberation, we landed on Seven. I booked a Cabana through Resort Pass and got a good price considering it's Cinco De Mayo weekend. Upon arrival, Brianna greeted us and she was so friendly and accommodating. She gave us a couple of options and we landed at the seventh floor pool. Throughout our day, Brianna and Nina were attentive and friendly! The pool area is a great chill vibe and I think it would be hard to find better cabana prices in Scottsdale. I don't have my usual food pics as I was with a group of friends and everyone pounced pretty quickly on the happy hour shareables lol. This is a GORGEOUS bar- stunning views of Scottsdale. Seven is inside Caesers Republic hotel on the 7th floor. They have tons of seating, inside and out. The hotel pool is just outside the glass doors too (looked super comfy) Head upstairs to even more outdoor patio seating. I do wish they had more than one couch area with a firepit tho :) Service by Natalie was excellent and we appreciated their 'Golden Hour' happy hour menu offerings. We had three appetizers that included the hummus (a bit bland, I do think they forgot something tangy in the mix), bruschetta (cream cheese/grapes and prosciutto yum) and the onion dip with homemade chips- fantastic. House white was a Sauvignon blanc $8 These are truly shareable- quite large portions! We get together every other month so this one will be staying in the rotation. Excellent experience. read more

Another excellent selection by our friends while visiting Arizona. Seven is located in the Caesars Republic hotel. I thought the view at Lucero was great, but the view at Seven is definitely something to see. The restaurant is located next to the pool on the 7th floor of Cesar's Republic Hotel. Inside of the restaurant, there were several TV's throughout, but it was not intrusive. I liked the fact that their was a variety of seating options between the bar, tables, and couches. We were seated next to a window and that was great. The view allows you to see the valley mountain ranges. After ordering a starter and appetizers, I went to the ladies room. On my way there, I could see the pool. I didn't take any photos as there were people out there sunning and I did not want to intrude on them. The views out there looked amazing, and I did ask if you could dine out there, but was told no as there are no tables, and food/drinks are not served up there. The starter was the Giant Meatball and wagyu slider trio. I enjoyed both of them. The meatball was good, but them sliders were more gooder! For our main course three of us got the Wagyu burger and The Doctor got the Fish and Chips. The burger was simple, but well executed....hot, tasty and delish! The Doctor enjoyed the Fish and Chips, and once again renewed his membership. Again because were out of town and I have no idea when I will be back, I got dessert: the honey cake, which was yummy. And I am not even a fan of honey. It was a moist cake and the vanilla ice cream was a nice pairing. The service was excellent, and our server was on top of us, but not in a bad way. We went here on Valentine's Day and thought it was delicious! Definitely a little bit of a "club" kind of vibe, with music bumping in the background (not what we expected lol). The service was great, even with how busy it was for V-day! Food was actually really really good. Everything was seasoned super well, came out hot and fresh, and a was delicious. The martini I had was good, but I was really disappointed in their cocktail list. They probably limit it since it's the restaurant right next to the pool, but there wasn't a single gin drink on there (sad). Wish they had the same cocktails as downstairs. The views were great! The evening started off great, we celebrated my good friend's birthday. Everything was delicious. I had the waygu burger which was in the top burger category for me. I tried the hummus and bruschetta both were yummy. My friend called ahead of time to make sure they take separate checks and was told yes. Julia was our server and she was great up until the end of the night. They told us we could only have 4 checks in a group of 20+ people. They finally agreed to give us separate checks and i noticed the gratuity was $6 and change for a $23 meal. I said this doesn't make sense and Julia gave me an attitude stating the gratuity is 26% like that's a normal percentage. WTF???? And they charge a service administrative fee I won't be going back to Seven. read more

Cesars Republic is not only one of Scottsdale newest hotels but it's also Caesars' first non-gaming hotel. Now, I haven't stayed here or even tried Giada's well known restaurant or cafe, but we went to the bar! Seven is the pool lounge/restaurant located on the seventh floor. They have a fairly full menu ofl cocktails, apps, salads, sides and entrees. The bar sits between the restaurant and the open deck of the pool so it has both a fine dining feel and a casual feel with guests in sits but also guests walking around in bikinis. The drinks are fun, but the views are gorgeous! This is the reason to go. You overlook Scottsdale with panoramic views of Camelback. It makes for perfect instagram pics and a great little date stop, especially at sunset. read more

It is quite nice with a variety of seating options between the bar, tables, couches, outdoor fireside tables and an entire upstairs patio with couches and other seating options. The best part is the views of the valley mountain ranges. People definitely staked out the best seating for the views. Seven is located next to the pool on the 7th floor of Cesar's Republic Hotel. There are several TV's throughout the restaurant if you are interested in watching sports. We chose to sit at the bar. This review is based on their happy hour menu and prices which we thought were very reasonable compared to many other local bars and restaurants in the area. We found the bartenders to be very nice and attentive. For drinks, we ordered the Firesky Margarita which had a very nice kick to it - $10. The Blood Orange Spritz which was very tasty - $10 The only negative we found is there was so much ice in both of the drinks that it didn't leave much room for the actual beverage. For food, we ordered the Charred Onion Dip that came with plenty of homemade chips to share - $8. Yummy. The Grape & Prosciutto Bruschetta $9. There were several pieces and these were absolutely delicious. The Carne Asada Street Tacos, $4 each. The tacos are definitely over priced as they are tiny little 2" tacos and should have been priced at no more than $2 each for happy hour. But they were delicious. We enjoyed Seven and look forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu. If you want the best seats for great views of the mountains, you will need to arrive early as those seats are the first to be taken in or on the patio at the restaurant. read more

My brother and I came here for a quick drink and an appetizer. We sat at the bar and enjoyed all of the views. Madison was the bartender and she is freaking awesome! I had a Cosmo and it was wonderful. However, we did share the spinach dip, and it was not good. When it comes to Spanish dips, Kevin and I are snobs. To me the best spinach dip in the world is served at Houston's restaurant. Nothing can top it. The spinach dip here was quite grainy and just not good. Hence the four stars. My bestie and I decided to check out Seven at Caesars Republic to enjoy a drink and take in the rooftop scenery. We both ordered a glass of wine and some delicious truffle fries. The view from up there is so amazingly, beautiful, and the service was great. My only issue was that it had rained a few days earlier, and the outdoor furniture was still damp. We didn't notice it at first, but after sitting for a while, we all realized that the moisture had seeped through our jeans! Wow. This was a miss for me. I was really excited to try it and wanted to pre-try it before my birthday. Ultimately I cancelled my second reservation at dinner. We tried two drinks the spritz and the martini. Honestly don't ever mind to spend 20$ or even higher for a drink but if I'm spending the money, expect for it to at least taste good. Neither drink made me want to continue to order or try anything else. The food itself was average at best. We had the onion dip for an appetizer. For $18... honestly lays chips and sour cream dip with an onion packet do more for me. The dinner I tried all 3 entrees and just have nothing positive to say. We had an early lunch reservation and the place was empty so you'd think service would be attentive.... It wasn't. We sat at our table for probably 10 minutes before we got water, drinks took forever to arrive and were expensive and underwhelming. I was very excited for the Wagyu burger but it seemed like a frozen patty they just threw in the grill. It was by no means a $25 burger. I'm glad management is changing as this place is a bust. Came here for restaurant week, and they did not disappoint! I've been here for drinks twice before, but never got food. Everything we got was so well done! The croquettes for an appetizer, braised short rib for my main and the butter cake for dessert... perfection! My Inlaws wanted to check out Ceasars Republic and have lunch here. We decided on trying Seven and arrived at about 1130, did a walk thru of the lower level, and then made our way to the 7th floor for the restaurant. I had made reservations for noon for 4 but decided to go in early since they opened at 11 and the place was totally empty. We were seated right away, but you could tell they weren't ready for customers. Still, our orders were taken, and the food was brought out in a timely manner. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and it does get quite loud once it starts to fill up, but all in all, we had a great meal here. Highly recommend giving it a try. read more

The views are obviously phenomenal, the cocktails were tasty, and menu while different than I expected, had delicious and varied offerings. The only thing that I wish was that there was a dining patio on the restaurant level with those spectacular views. There is a pool and then to sit outside and take in the views, you can walk to their upper terrace, but there are no tables, food or drinks served up there. To start, I had a dirty martini and we split their giant meatball and wagyu slider trio, both were tasty. The sliders stood out in that duo. For entrees, we split the black truffle steak frites and street corn pasta. Both so different, but so great together! The street corn pasta wouldn't normally be a go-to for me but wow, it was decadent and I highly recommend. We would come back here again, for sure! Great location and gorg views. Seven is a great pretty cool rooftop bar at the Caesars Republic hotel. It's located on the 7th floor and has an amazing view of the Phoenix skyline and the mountains. They also have a pool next to the bar and a bunch of TVs showing different games. When it comes to food and drinks, they have a really big drink menu and a decent food menu. I've personally only come here for drinks but the food looks pretty good too. They have a wide variety of original drinks and also the classics as well. My friend ordered the tangerine whipped creamsicle and I got the lemongrass lemonade. The tangerine drink tasted amazing. It felt like you were having sweet tangerine ice cream. When I made the reservation, I called and requested outside. They said they would try to accommodate us if possible. When we got there, they said there was nothing open on the patio except an enormous table, and there were only four of us, so we declined and requested our inside seat close to the window so we could see the beautiful sunset. We requested to be moved once something opened on the patio. Our first waitress at the inside table was fantastic, unfortunately when we moved to the patio, we got a new waitress and she was not as attentive. It was very noisy inside, which was still a cool vibe but hard to hear if you wanted to actually have a conversation, but once we were moved to the patio it was much better. We started with the charred onion dip which was delicious, although it could have been better if the chips were warm. We had a couple cocktails, the margarita, a blood orange spritz and an old fashioned. Every one of our meals were delicious! The braised beef short ribs were the best I've ever had, same with the gnocchi. The black truffle steak frites were pretty good although I didn't taste any truffle. My brother got the street corn pasta and added chicken. He said it was good. Ended with the raspberry cheesecake that came with my meal as part of the AZ Restaurant week. Others in my party may have tried another dessert as well if our waitress would have actually offered dessert to anyone, but she didn't so we just tried the cheesecake and left. If you book a dinner reservation, don't expect the restaurant to honor your reservation. I made an 6:30PM reservation tonight for a birthday, when I checked in with the hostess I was told I would have to wait at least another 30 mins for a table to be available. The young hostess was very dismissive and rude, as well as the older bald male manager (Fabian). They made no accomodation, even though a larger table was available, they wouldn't seat my party, until I insisted and asked. In total, my party had to wait 45 mins after our reservation time for a table. Unacceptable. The only positive experience throughout the entice debacle was Damien (or Darrell or Devin). read more

I was super excited to try this new restaurant with killer views. Ambiance ...check! Yummy cocktails...check! Service...meh! Dinner menu...mediocre (and that's being generous). . I understand that the restaurant just opened. And for that reason I was patient. But while we were waiting on our table, the bartenders at the bar weren't attentive at all, and I'd say they were even slightly rude/snippy. Now, about dinner. Once my group was seated, we were promptly greeted by our server. She was very nice and took our drink orders promptly. In my opinion the dinner menu felt like a pool bar trying to be a steakhouse. Appetizers included chicken wings, "artisan" pretzel w/ cheese dip and spinach dip (which was mediocre). The salad menu was decent - if you're poolside. Scroll down the menu and you have braised short ribs (which they were out of), and $48 Steak Frites. I wanted the short ribs but ended up getting the Wagu burger and fries - which was fantastic. The bacon-honey brussels sprouts put me in a diabetic coma, and weren't memorable. I'd return for cocktails and great ambiance. read more

Came here in the middle of the week and had a great lunch! Lovely view of downtown Scottsdale during the day. We sat on the side by the pool but the other side has large TV for those that want to watch some sports. We had a great waitress and the food came out hot! She recommended the spinach dip and it was warm and delicious! We also ordered the poke nacho which had some heat for those that like that. I couldn't finish the grapefruit glazed salmon with cauliflower puree as I had too much of the yummy appetizers! They give a good portion for each plate and was well presented.
