This review is for service. We stayed this week and had the most amazing time! Burger was outstanding, but the service was beyond! Dana was our bartender both days. She is so great! We felt so welcomed and right at home. Raelynn helped us inside also. Our server at the pool was Jordan! He was on top of it even though it was 1000° outside. We can't wait to come back! Thank you guys!! Best trip ever!

Food is delicious. Overpriced but it's a resort so it comes with the territory. The asada fries were excellent! So were the cinnamon sugar chips with the orange whipped cream. Service was great. I believe Charisse was my waitress and she was excellent. Good food but if I wasn't staying here, I wouldn't drive out of my way to come.

Open-spaced modern looking restaurant on the Omni premises which was the ideal spot for a light lunch. Wonderful salads in a quiet environment, combined with the "tres amigos" salsa combo. Excellent.

I grabbed the Centro Cobb salad for a quick lunch after my flight landed. Very fresh and delicious, especially the agave bacon, charred corn, and cilantro vinaigrette. It was a little pricy but expected for a resort ($19 without an additional protein, +$9 for chicken or +$10 for shrimp). Service was welcoming and prompt. I dined at the patio, but they also serve the same menu poolside.

Chop't Taco Champ Laura Gonzalez is the chef here and the place has gone creative and good. Nice drinks. Had the honey something with grapefruit juice and jalapeño. Margaritas were good too. Had chips and trio of dips for the appetizers and the chips were thin, crispy and a step above most restaurants. The dip cups were small but good. Tacos were terrific. Halibut tacos with a brown sauce and shrimp tacos nicely fried and breaded. Waitress was attentive and helpful while letting us sit and work at the table for longer than we probably should have. And even at a gourmet place like this I couldn't resist tater tots-done extra crispy with little potato left and some nice seasoning. The only issue was the mango chili side dish that was frozen (and shouldn't have been). Seating inside and outside with huge tv's I think they chose the right champion on Chop't.

Incredible service from the staff at Centro Lounge at the Omni Montelucia. Enjoyed the 'Centro Sonoran Cheeseburger' poolside. Ambiance inside and outside of the restaurant is zen and upscale - 10/10 recommend this resort and the food!

Came here few days ago for a quick bite. We set outside and view was spectacular, while you on the pool side, surrounded by palm trees, you can see Camelback mountains rising. We ordered chicken quesadilla. It's came somewhat on a smaller side- 4 2-bite only pieces. Guacamole were really fresh and tasty as well as tomatoes freshly cut on perfect cubes, not swimming in its juice like at the most of the places. I would advice chef just charge few more dollars and add few more pieces to that delicious dish.

If you're staying at Omni Hotel and feeling hungry, check out this onsite restaurant it's delicious! Food: I ordered the roasted chicken quesadilla as well as the grilled chicken and green chile sandwich. During my stay here, I probably ordered the quesadilla 3-4 times because it was so good! However, it's not too filling (only 4 slices) and is on the pricy side for more of what I would consider an appetizer even though it's listed as a "shared plate". The grilled chicken and green chile sandwich was SOO DELICIOUS, filling and much more reasonable for pricing for what you get. It's 14$ and comes with fries; you will definitely be full after eating it Drinks: I don't recommend getting a mojito from here as it seems as if it's 90% soda, whereas the prickly pear Margarita was a better bang for your buck ( I recommend it blended, it was a lot) because though it was the same price,$12, you get more for it. Ambience: The ambience here is also great because there are a variety of seating options (high chair tables, lounge sofas, to regular table seating). This is also probably a great place to come if you're into sports because on one wall they have about 9 huge TVs to make up one side of an entire wall playing sports. Service: The service I received here was pretty good! They come help refill your water when needed but don't hover! Overall I recommend coming here but be weary it's more on the pricey side for casual food

My husband and I had a spectacular lunch here upon first arriving to the resort. We enjoyed steak and shrimp tacos and the best guacamole of our life. Their spice level was gentle yet tickles your throat. The service was attentive yet very clear that young people circulate into the resort who are not necessarily great servers or well-trained.

Great spot for lunch! Bright and open, the place is clean and spacious. Our server was very sweet and the food was great. Everything came out fresh and good. I enjoyed my Tuna Nicoise as did my group enjoy their dishes as well. The grilled salmon on the salad was terrific.

Really enjoyed this place! The staff was friendly, the environment was great and so trendy, and awesome mojitos!

Really nice if you're staying at the resort because it's right by the pool. The food is good and the staff is friendly. They let you eat in your swimsuit! Really no complaints.

Jessica, my waitress was really awesome and very friendly and helped me pick out some really great things on the menu. I had the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. The German pretzel bites with beer, cheese and the churros with ice cream and a few beers and I have to say the prices are excellent and the food is incredibly good and I don't say that lightning most dive bars are just good for the ambience and a few cheap drinks. This place is great all around. Also, their patio area is dog friendly, so I was able to bring my little furry friend with me and he hung out and laid down near the table. Another bonus.

You can tell right away this is the kind of place regulars come back to often. Food I didn't try much food, but I did have the cheese crisp and it was solid. Light, flaky, and more like an open-faced tostada than a quesadilla. It came topped with green chili and chicken, and everything worked well together. Based on that, I'd expect the rest of the menu to be consistent, even if it's not trying to reinvent the wheel. Service Service was efficient, especially considering how busy it was. No complaints here... you can tell the staff knows how to handle a full house and keep things moving. Ambience This is where the place stands out. The vibe feels like a food network designed a biker bar, but in a fun, not over-the-top way. It's also apparently a Kansas City Chiefs bar, which adds to the identity. There was a live band playing early 2000s rock hits, which kept the energy up. Crowd was friendly overall, very much a neighborhood crowd. Overall This isn't a destination bar, but it's a really solid go-to if you live nearby. Think of it as an elevated dive/sports bar with a strong local following. Good drinks, good energy, and a place that does what it's supposed to do well.

It's a favorite for my mom, so we took family for lunch when they were visiting over the holidays, and I still did a reservation just to be safe. We didn't bring kiddos with us this trip, but have in the past, and they were pleased with the kids menu offerings. Wally's has an old-school vibe with shiny wood paneling, cozy booths, and music that lets you hold an inside-voice conversation. They consistently do a 10/10 take on American classics. This trip we got Noble Rolls, soup, Fish N Chips, Braised Short Ribs, a burger, and an Apple cobbler for dessert. First, a round of applause for the rolls. They were warm, they were buttery, they had melty butter and flaky salt on top, and they were from local makers Noble Bread. I would like to eat these every day. The rolls were the absolute epitome of comfort food. The my went nicely with the soup of the day which happened to be a creamy chicken corn chowder and was great! They didn't skimp on the chicken and the broth was so flavorful. The fish was breaded and nicely crispy outside, while the meat was tender. The fries were shoe string, crunchy and well-seasoned. The short rib was fall-apart tender and the gravy on top was incredible, we all commented we just wish there had been more. The horseradish mashed potatoes were outstanding, bursting with flavor without being too much, and wonderfully creamy. My husband also loved his burger. As for the cobbler it was good, but served kind of cold - like cold in spots, so maybe they let it sit to bring it to temp but forgot to warm it.?. It would've been much better served warm. The server was okay - never rude, but a little aloof. We were in for lunch on a pretty quiet day, so he wasn't overwhelmed, but he still wandered away mid-order/ mid-conversation a couple of times. I appreciated that he tried to keep up with our drinks tho.

Located on Cave Creek Road, I had passed by this bar several times and was excited to finally try it out. While I parked across the street at the venue where I was for my event prior, I did notice that they had a decent amount of free parking available. Ambiance (4/5): Cactus Tavern is a dive bar with some Arizona flair. Given the name of the bar, I expected some cactus decor. It did not disappoint...including square lights with cactus cut-outs above each table. There are several high top tables as well as seating at the bar. It's not a huge bar, probably fits 50 people or so, and it was about 90% at capacity when I was there. They also have one pool table. Seems like the type of place where regulars come, which is always a plus in my book. Service (4.5/5): Our waitress did a great job taking care of us despite being quite busy. She was friendly, efficient, and made some recommendations when I asked for some. Pro tip: they give you a cash discount, so if you'd like to save a little bit, make sure you bring cash. Drinks (4/5): With it being a dive bar, the options are going to be on a simpler side. They had eight or so beers on tap, so not a large selection, but I ended up going with a WOW Wheat. A few local beers, plus some usual suspects like Coors Light, Dos Equis, Modelo, etc. While the selection didn't blow my socks off, the prices are reasonable. That counts for a lot. Food (4.5/5): According to Yelp, Cactus Tavern is known for their quesabirria tacos. Since quesabirria is one of my favorite Mexican foods, I couldn't say no. I'm glad I didn't. You get three quesabirria tacos (birria meat, cilantro, cheese, and onions), fresh off the griddle, served with a green salsa and consommé. These were hands down some of the best birria tacos I've ever had. They were served right off the grill, the meat was flavorful, and the oozy cheese was delicious. With a side of elote (on the cob), it made for the perfect meal. This is not your typical bar food, y'all. It's a notch or two above. I was pleasantly surprised. And like the drinks, the food prices are affordable too. Pro tip #2: if you're looking for deals beyond the cash discount, they have daily discounts on various items including a burger and a pint, Philly cheesesteak, etc. depending on the day.

Now, I'll be honest--my personal weakness here is the creamy coleslaw. It's that good. I'm talking "I could eat a full dinner plate of it and call it a meal" good. Not many places get coleslaw right... they do. Service matters, and we've found our spot with Holly's section. She strikes that perfect balance--attentive, keeps things moving, but never hovering or interrupting. That's harder to find than people think.
