When traveling, lounges are never a bad idea! While flying AA from AZ to ATL recently, I popped into the Admiral's Club to burn about 3 hours until my flight. Upon entry, the club was bright, clean and welcoming, always a nice vibe when you've been lugging your bags around. There was ample seating but comfy chairs seemed to be limited, leaving many to choose the bar-like/round table seating on the other side of the club. I opted for a comfy lounge chat that was connected to a side table offering power. Win! I'm happy that I snagged this seat because as the hours went on, more folks came in and it got very busy. The food offerings were limited but delicious nevertheless! The Lentil Soup was a surprise favorite and I had a few bowls honestly, absolutely no shame and would love the recipe. They also offered complimentary veggies, bar options and sweets that were far better than expected. I also ordered a few non-complimentary items at they were all perfect for getting me relaxed before flying. They also offered guacamole made on-site to your liking , such a nice thing touch. Safe flying, friends!

The food has gotten considerably better. The staff is the same. Hit or miss. Some are excellent. Love having fresh Gouda chunks and fresh Buffalo mozzarella. Sometimes it's packed, but today, most seats are opened.

Decent food service and facilities by A7.. ambiance is similar to all admirals clubs.. generally quiet

I have to agree with the other postings on how great and friendly the staff is at this club. However, the club has some serious deficiencies in terms of maintenance and the quality of the food and refreshments served. The food included a white chili as the main dish with vegetables as the side dish. The club was packed when I got there so it was hard to find a seat. I do have to commend them on their on-site guacamole chef. she made fresh guacamole with your choice of condiments. That was actually cool. If you have to pay for a day pass my recommendation would be not to. Pick any of the restaurants in the airport and get a better meal and beverage while you wait for your flight. If your access to the club is free via your credit card or a partner airline, go for it and get your free stuff. Otherwise, don't pay out of pocket.

Very messy everywhere... The people at this table had left over 30 min ago

Disgusting and sadly understaffed. It was messy throughout the entire area. I get it. It's 10am on a Thursday and really busy. But they should have more cleaners. In addition to most tables not being cleared, the bathroom was also gross. Someone had left menstrual blood on the floor in the stalls. Ugh! Unsanitary. Won't ever be coming back.

Instead of pita they used raw English muffin slices. The horror!!!

The one near A21 is tiny and needs a face lift. Always too crowded. Wish they could solve it.

I talked to a lovely gentleman who told me to come back at 4pm - I was likely accommodated bc I was a solo party, but I appreciated him nonetheless! Other people tried to walk in and were quoted anywhere from a 30 min to 1 hour wait. They actually seat you at a table or counter, so it's not a free-for-all seating. I was sat near the bar at a long counter facing the wall (not ideal, but fine). I had easy accessibility to power. Food was delicious and the drinks were pretty good. There was a separate area for tacos, nachos and elote; but unfortunately they were out of a few ingredients at the time I visited. I mostly frequented the bar and the buffet area. Overall, definitely worth a stop in if you have access!

The recent improvements to the food offerings are especially impressive--there's a noticeable emphasis on fresh, flavorful vegetable options that feel thoughtful and well-prepared, rather than like an afterthought. It's a tight squeeze and often crowded, to the point where (airport) lounging is nearly an oxymoron. For folks who are know the mediocre Admirals Club experience in other areas will know what to expect with food and service. Maintenance is always variable, depending on how robust the staff is, which is often a problem here. Dishes are not picked up quickly, buffet stations are sometimes a mess, bathroom floors might feel sticky, and service is lacking overall. The food is nothing remarkable, but then again neither is any Admirals Club location that I've tried. It really depends on the day, but even during the guacamole service (which also doubles as an avocado toast bar), it is still lackluster. Bagels are dry If there's any place to hang out, it might be the bar. Assuming one can snag a seat, whomever the bartender is that day is typically the key to a quality experience. The WiFi is decent and paired with a nice drink, can be a solid way to enjoy a layover and be the start of pre-flight shenanigans. In addition to it being crowded, it can also be noisy. Given how busy PHX already is, the claustrophobic vibe is most definitely real. Anyone traveling in groups should reconsider coming here, but solo travelers who can tolerate the chaos might do well with some noise cancelling phones and with a little luck, a chair and a table to enjoy and pass the time.

This was the first time that I've actually been in the Admiral's Club here before flying internationally (usually I'm at another club in the airport). The food selection didn't blow me away, but it was decent. Easy access to fountain drinks, tea, water, and snacks such as gummy bears & pretzels. I decided to sit up at the bar where I had a good conversation with the bartender, and I actually had a few prickly pear margaritas, which were included. Not everything is included, as some of the items are premium shelf items. For those that do know, it's not a big deal, but some look and think it's all complimentary. Between the chair seating comfort & availability, the frequently updated flight status board (visible to most seating) comfort was all good, and it was centrally located to where my gate was, so coming out of the lounge, popping up my gate was great.
