We enjoyed the food.
Terri R.

My friend and I relaxed in the Escape Lounge in Terminal 3 before our flight. There was a line when we went around 1pm on a Monday. Since we were fine sitting at the bar, we didn't wait long. The tables were all pretty full. I thought the food selection was good. We weren't looking for a full meal so the cheeses, pasta salad, pita and hummus worked perfectly for us. There were also some salads, soup and heartier dishes as well. Cookies were also good. We enjoyed some cocktails and the bartender was super friendly and checked a couple times to see if we needed anything. There are only two bathrooms so there seemed to be a constant line but was never real long.

Amex lounges are just better lounges in general. There are actually two lounges at this location. One is for priority but not sure which is which. The food and drink options are great, no extra charge for premium liquor. Service is usually very friendly. This is definitely the top choice lounge at this airport!

The lounge is well laid out with ample seating. The space feels open and airy and the view is overlooking the airport runway. The food options can be hit or miss, but is generally a good selection. There is a nice bar where they can make any drink desired. There are two check ins, the escape lounge is to the left. If there is a line, it is generally for the centurion lounge.

We stop by here with our Priority Pass before our flights with kids. There is a self serve coffee machine and the cappuccino is not bad. There isn't enough bathrooms here. I recommend using the restrooms outside of Escape. The servers are attentive and would ask us if we needed anything, along with taking finished dishes away quickly. We have Amex Centurion and Delta Sky Club access, but Escape is more convenient for us.

Thanks to Escape Lounge! Centurion next door was packed so having a lounge to relax and chill before my flight was a life saver! The staff were amazing especially the lady in the check-in area and the guy who cleaned up our table. I was running on 2 hours of sleep and having a place to sit and eat before flying back home was the best part of my trip. They also have good food selection. I got the chicken (not sure if it's teriyaki) and shrimp tempura. I was so stuffed and all of 'em tasted good! Thank you Escape lounge!

Smaller lounge but it has an efficient virtual waitlist. Flew the day before Thanksgiving so it was super busy. But staff was very friendly during a hectic day; especially the people working the bar. Quick cleanup and a good selection of drinks and good. Thank you!

This place is inside the Amex Centurion Lounge, B Gates. Escape is a small area compared to the AmEx Centurion lounge. If you reserve the spot make sure you will choose if it's AmEx or escape because they have policies that you cannot half on between these two lounges. We always go to the Centurion lounge but have never experienced trying the Escape lounge. I would say there is no difference between these two except space. We came at dinner time unfortunately some of them are gone so we have to wait and see if they will refill it.

I think this is the bartender back when he watan actor

Went to terminal 4 escape lounge on layover. Food was decent and there was no wait at bar. I'm pretty sure bartender used to be a "Hollywood" actor back in the 90s and had a ton of super funny stories about that industry. He was actually fairly famous if It's the same guy.

A relatively small, but comfortable airport lounge in Terminal 3 of the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport fits the requirements of being able to relax, have some snacks, and drinks prior to boarding a flight. I used the facilities before an early morning flight and the breakfast entrées available were similar to breakfast at a Hampton Inn or similar hotel: link sausage, fried, diced potatoes, eggs, and pancakes; muffins, bagel, fruits, coffee, juice, and the bar is open! During my visit in February, the restrooms were closed so the restrooms outside the lounge had to be utilized. A comfortable lounge to grab a quick bite and drinks prior to your flight.

Who hates gathering at their departure gate? That is me. When I have the opportunity to check into a lounge, I will do so. There is a lot of space and tables with no background noises. You can enjoy the food, drinks, and snacks. The service is great. You can get your work done, chill, or relax. Cheers everyone!!!

The food, drinks and atmosphere was great. Our bartender was excellent. It was a great spot to relax before boarding our plane to New York. I would definitely book again.

We had a great first time experience and look forward to many more lounge visits, here at AZ! What a treat, so fancy! I checked in with the kind staff in front, showed my Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card, ID, boarding pass and I was added to the waitlist, about 40 minutes wait to get in. I got a text message to check in at counter, in which was quick. I also got a cool charger form Sapphire Reserve, which I used on the plane. We got a nice table with window view of planes for 3, I looked around the lounge to see what was being offered before I started to make my plate. Super nice! Buffet style & It was Mexican theme, there was a cute food truck located outside to order off the menu ( tacos) . I am not sure how the daily menu goes, I didn't get to ask the staff. Alcoholic beverages could be ordered on your phone, after scanning QR code, drinks arrived quick and only one drink per person at time. I loved my specialty cocktail, strong and smooth, I had 2 and could go for more but we had to leave for flight. All in all, such a wonderful lounge, perfect to have a bite, meal, drinks, relaxing before our flight and keep in mind as longs as it is withing 3 hours of your flight time to access the lounge. Thank you Chase, CHEERS, & here's to more happy travels!

The walk was pretty extensive, however, they have people mover machines, which help. As I walked up to this lounge, I noticed that there was a long line of waiting customers. I only had about 40 minutes before my next flight. I walked up to the customer greeting check in station and the staff person was so nice and her customer service was friendly. She was helping someone else. After hearing the exchange with the person in front of me, I realized that they had a waitlist. When it was my turn, she was able to let me know that the wait to get inside would be at least 35 to 45 minutes. I decided to bypass the waitlist and lounge on this leg of my trip, as would not be able to get in in time before boarding. Overall, though it looks like a wonderful place to be as I was able to see inside and also speak with some happy customers outside that we're leaving. I highly recommend this lounge if you have enough time to visit it. It looks very updated and the staff seems to be very customer service oriented.

The food bar quality was pretty bad. Not appetizing. Little selection. Service was good. Quickly picked up plates and cleaned tables. The tea was only at one station, not the main one. One small bathroom for the gents, not the cleanest. Honestly, the regular terminal was better. Not worth it up here. Would not recommend.

The lounge is essentially one large room with chairs arranged fairly close together. There are a few long high-top tables and a counter running along the windows, but there aren't really any private areas aside from a small business center with just a handful of seats. If you're looking for a quiet corner or separate lounge spaces, this location is somewhat limited. The food selection was surprisingly good. Even after 10 PM, staff were actively refilling the hot food station, which was appreciated. There was also a deli area stocked with charcuterie meats, cheeses, hummus, and other snacks, plus a coffee station, a small snack bar with trail mix, pretzels, and jelly beans, and a dessert station featuring cookies, brownies, and cupcakes. The bar was fully stocked as well. The bathrooms were on the smaller side but clean and well maintained. One downside is that not every seat has access to power outlets, although the high-top counter along the windows offers several charging options. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were also traveling with our pets and had no issues checking into the lounge. Since many airport lounges have become less pet-friendly, it was nice to have a comfortable place to relax with them before our flight. Overall, it's not the most spacious or private Admirals Club, but the friendly staff, solid food offerings, and pet-friendly policy made for an enjoyable visit.

As I was flying out of Terminal 3 for a change, I visited the Escape Lounge which I had been to one other time. The food was good and the service was fine, but there were some seats falling apart, and the staff were very vigilant in making sure you sat somewhere assigned. The Escape Lounge is easy to locate after you go through the Terminal 3 security. When you arrive, more often than not, you will need to check in on the virtual line, which cannot be done through the American Express app (as the Centurion Lounge can be). When I did that, I was only the third person in line, so it only took just over five minutes to have my turn to enter the lounge. When I went to check in after getting my text message, I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar or in a lounge chair. I chose a lounge chair. All of the tables and larger lounge chairs were specifically reserved for parties of two or more. I was given a lounge chair which was broken. I had to go up and request to switch to another one, which felt like I was in elementary school. While the lounge chairs were to the right when entering the lounge, the bar and food was to the left. The Escape Lounge is not a large large lounge; however, it has anything you would want in an airport premium lounge. Entrance to the Escape room includes unlimited fast WiFi, charging ports and power outlets, print, scan and copy services, Pressreader (access to 7,000+ newspapers and magazines), and complimentary food and beverages). The food and drinks were good, and I was there during the change from breakfast to lunch. According to their website (https://escapelounges.com), Escape Lounges accept guests flying with any airline or class. Children and babies are welcome to enter the lounge, with those aged 24 months and under entering for free. You can pre-book from $32, walk up and pay at the door, or enter with special access using an applicable membership or credit card or gain access through your airline. Compatible cards and programs include various American Express credit cards, the Priority Pass program, the Dragonpass program, the TAV Passport Card program, and Dreamfolks Card program. I use the American Express Platinum card to access the Escape Lounge and find that I can bring guests with me. I will give it a try again if I travel through Terminal 3 in the future.
