Allie the manager is great! Amazing customer service. Food is delicious, this is our regular family dinner spot!

We're here 2/3 times a week. $6 pitchers before 5p. Great for kids. Pizza is thin and always great. Service is top notch. They're great at creating regulars and making it feel like a hometown pizza joint. Upwards smashed this one. Shoutouts to Shaba and Kristin for always making us feel welcome even if we only get a couple pitchers and a pizza. Thanks guys. Means the world to us. read more

I only return to federal cause it's my daughter's favorite place to have lunch. We visited maybe 1.5 months ago, we were promptly seated on the patio. Then we proceeded to sit there for 30 minutes without being greeted. Mind you other tables were seated after us and were taken care of. Food was fine during that visit. We went back to federal today for lunch at the request of my daughter. We ordered our food, then when it came out my pizza was only slightly warm. Cheese looked like it had been sitting for a bit. Once I had tried the pizza the server never returned. Not to even check on us. Then a new server comes up as we are basically done saying she was taking over. I asked for a box and left. I'll stick to the central location from now on if we ever go back read more

My husband and I visited this location on Saturday, August 22, around 7:30 PM, and once again, we had a great experience! This is one of our favorite locations because it's huge, spacious, and has plenty of parking--even bigger than the location we've visited in Phoenix. We knew they were pretty busy, and reservations were booked up online, so instead of waiting for a reservation, we decided to drive over and get on the waitlist. We only waited about 10 minutes, which wasn't bad at all! We usually prefer a slightly larger table, but this time we were seated at a smaller table, and honestly, it was perfectly fine. Our service was amazing, and the manager was absolutely wonderful! She even brought us a complimentary risotto cheese appetizer, and it was AMAZING! Such a nice unexpected surprise and definitely appreciated. Of course, we had to order one of our favorites--the pan pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and garlic. You can also add fresh-grated cheese, which makes it even better! We've been to this location several times, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots. The food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience keep bringing us back. Federal Pizza, please consider opening a location in the West Valley! We would LOVE to see one in the Litchfield Park/Verrado area. We definitely need one closer to us! They also offer drink specials on select drinks during the week, generally until around 5PM. I'm not completely sure whether those specials are available on weekends, so definitely check with the location. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and another wonderful experience! Definitely one of our favorite pizza spots! read more

My daughter and I came for lunch on Labor Day as part of our girls day. It was pretty busy as there was about a 20 minute wait. When we finally were able to sit, our waitress got us waters and drinks right away. We ordered wings, margherita pizza, and the half pizza and salad option. I don't recall the pizza I chose but it had hot honey and it was delicious. The restaurant had a nice enticing atmosphere. read more

This has to be one of my favorite pizza places right now!! I loved the variety of pizza options (especially since I was able to order gluten free!). You can order two different types of pizza on the same dough which is a nice option especially having a small party and wanting to try a few different things! The wings look like they are fake as they come out looking picture perfect! The sauce options are nice too! I believe they had a BBQ, hot honey (what we got), buffalo and a few other flavors. They were very crispy and flavorful the "hot" wasn't over powering for the sauce we got. We asked for a recommendation for the pasta and the server suggested the Mickey White. This did not disappoint it was so good even with the gluten free pasta! The vegetables, all paired very well together along with the chicken! It's a little dim on the inside but it would be a great space for dinner, date night or even just a friend gathering. I love that it's located in PV and you don't have to go out of your way to find speciality pizza! read more

From them opening the door to enter to when you leave they serve you oh so well! This was our second time here. There is seating at high top tables , low tables and a bar area. We couldn't get those Windsor Gold wings out of our mind. Who knew mustard base hot wing would be so good? Pair that with the Casanova pizza it's perfection. The pizza has a base of Roasted garlic oil cheese dates, Ricotta, prosciutto, arugula and a delicious Balsamic drizzle. Soak up the goodness of the wing sauce with the crust. I'm telling you!!!!! Just try it! Service is great, laid back atmosphere, great music lightly playing. Super clean bathrooms just like the dinning room. They have all kinds of lunch and Happy Hour specials. We started eating before I remembered the pictures. You might too once you try this combo! We highly recommend! read more

Federal Pizza has a really fun vibe and plenty of space, especially if you're going with a big group. The long, well lit tables make it feel welcoming for gatherings. One thing I noticed was that the staff all had a similar alternative style with lots of tattoos, which fit the restaurant's overall aesthetic. I ordered the thick pan pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, with plenty of pepperoni and cheese. The sparkling water option was also a nice bonus and something I always appreciate. The only downside was that I felt a little sick after eating, so that's the reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall, though, the food was tasty, the atmosphere was great, and I'd consider giving it another try. read more

Cheap people . Order DoorDash pickup a lot because I have a baby and can't sit in the restaurant. Never have I gotten charged for pick up from any of my other places. 10$ when I DROVE picked up, AND I pay for dash pass? WOW insane . Already 66$ dollars for small sized pizzas but then this . This is located in the new resurgence of the PV Mall. Came here for lunch and was nervous about having to get an entire pizza . To my surprise, they had a half pizza and salad special and great way to intro the pizzas if you are unsure. Pizza was great with the proper leoparding under the crust as well as the chopped salad was delicious with a little bit of the salami and peppers mixed in. Drinks took a little bit of time to get refilled as was taking of our orders. Love having them closer to home. Welcome to PV mall. read more

Finally, a closer location so we don't have to go all the way to central phx! Federal Pizza offers a great menu--there's truly something for everyone. The restaurant has plenty of seating both inside and outside. It is a nice casual vibe but also would be a great date night spot. Our son loves coming here to play the games, which makes it a fun outing for the family. We have been going for lunch recently because the lunch special is a great portion and perfect lunch! One note: the salads tend to come heavily dressed, so I'd recommend asking for the dressing on the side. And don't forget to save room for dessert, their warm powdered sugar donuts with caramel sauce are absolutely delicious! read more

I took my dad to Federal Pizza because he had never been and I really enjoyed my pizza here! Made reservations for an early Saturday dinner, I was glad I did because it was very busy when we arrived with many groups waiting for tables -- we breezed right in and even though we were 10 mins early they sat us right away. At first she sat us in these tables that were against a wall and next to a very large group with lots of screaming kids. Luckily there was a high top at the window -- I don't usually love sitting at a high top table but this one was comfortable -- my only complaint is that we were right under the air vent and even though it was a nice evening out (in March) the air was really cold -- so we were cold through our whole meal, which was kind of annoying. I really wanted to get the pan pizza but it takes ~25 minutes where the regular pizzas take about ~18 mins -- according to the waitress. So we opted for the regular pizza but you can order the toppings from the deep dish. The deep dish crust is so amazing though -- I should have waited the extra few minutes but I ordered a half and half of At Last and then the White Fig (but as a regular pizza not the deep dish). My dad ordered a custom pizza with meatballs and mushrooms. He enjoyed his pizza quite a bit -- mine was good but I was kicking myself for not ordering the pan -- oh well next time! read more

My friend and I came here for lunch during the weekday at 12:00. First time here, not knowing what to expect, knowing that it is a very popular place I did make a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived the lunch crowd was just coming in. The place has a takeout area, inside and patio dining with a fairly large bar. Saba was our host and also server, super nice, very friendly and attentive. We sat at the high tops in the bar area which was great. We ordered the $6 pitcher of beer, one of our favorites, the Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing. My friend ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Manifesto Pizza. The pizza is a 12 inch pizza, perfect for a single person. The pizzas came out hot and looking great. We were both very please on how the crust looked and both pizzas tasted great. My friend devoured the Pepperoni while I took half of mine home. Trevor's which is right next door practically, better watch out! For as much as I love Trevor's... Federal Pizza pizzas are half the price, and they offer $6 pitcher of well named brand beers. We will definitely be back for lunch again. Atmosphere: very open, indoor, patio, big bar area. Service: excellent. Food: excellent. read more

Love this place We had our favorite cheesy bread not to be missed. And today we tried the meatball pizza done pan style-Detroit square style. Allow 30 minutes for this perfect creation to arrive. My husband is not big on bread but he gave this pizza 5 star in crust! I agree it's so fresh and delicious and the ingredients used made it our new favorite pizza. What I liked most is the flavor of it! I personally don't like a drowned in sauce pizza because sometimes all you taste is sauce. This blended well and provided the perfect knife and fork bite. We are both in agreement that we will return again. At some point we have to try their other dishes. read more

First time trying this restaurant and honestly so impressed!! Whether you are ordering their amazing pizzas, pastas, appetizers or dinner specials, you cannot go wrong! The fabulous food, the great vibes, the amazing staff, this is definitely a go-to for meeting up with friends, family or special occasions. They could not have been any more welcoming and catered to our every need. The food and drinks were amazing, everything was fresh and exactly how we ordered it. There is even as a go case with half off bottles of wine, beer and drinks as well as many flavors of Churn ice cream which they own as well. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Went back for another visit. Not pictured, but the star of the show was the chicken wings. Both the hot honey and the buffalo flavors were amazing. Roasted veggie plate was good and an interesting starter. The pizza, Big Star, was good but the center was limp. The crust could definitely be a little crispier. However our server changed 3x during the hour we were there and the the last woman was awkward and rude. Luckily we didn't have to dine with her for long. read more

Really disappointed with our experience at Federal Pizza. Our order was messed up, which was already frustrating, but what made it worse was finding a hair in our pizza. This new location of theirs delivers on the same wonderful experience as their previous locations! It's certainly a solid choice if you're in the area. They have the mood lighting, the friendly staff, and the quick food service. Initially here for an event, I had enjoyed my brief time there so I decided to also get dinner on my own dime. I ordered the Beef Bolognese. The rich, meaty sauce complemented the pasta's clean flavor. For an $18 dish, its portion size is quite small, so I recommend coming here with the group and ordering other larger dishes if you want to order this one. read more

Came here for a yelp even and have to say that it was a great offering from the restaurant. Went here with family so ended up ordering additional items as well. Overall great experience and food quality. Here are my takes: Food/Drinks: The bread is too good. Whether you get cheese bread or pizza or anything else, the bread that underlies and comes out of the fire oven taste great. Very fluffy and bubble with unique flavors. Cheese bread was my favorite. We did order 1/2 & 1/2 pizza and they were good. From the kids meal, we ended up getting spaghetti and meatballs and was good as well. Came with drink choice options. We got a colarado white mountain pitcher and was appealed by the taste for sure. I would love to try these again. Service: Our server was nice and very attentive. Provided recommendation and oveall service was very quick. The staff in general is very nice. We have at least 2-3 staff check on us with regular intervals. The only hiccups we had was the mismatch in the check with something added that we did not order. Had to get it reverted after paying since I did not check the details before paying. Ambiance: Great interiors and vibe here including that you will see in restroom. A pacman gaming console for kids as well which my kid enjoyed. Full wall wallpapers wherever possible. Carrom board on wall. Full open bar and half open kitchen gives a great experience overall. They have plenty of seating indoor outdoor. Hygiene: It's a new spot so everything was very clean and tidy. No complaints at all. The location with surprise you. Price: Here is the best part since the prices are very reasonable for the quality you are getting. Dining here would save you a lot specially if you are coming in group. If this restaurant was near my home then easily was our to-go place. Highly recommended spot. read more

Finally got to stop in and try the new location in PV! We came in on a Friday night around 5:30 and it was packed! A reservation is highly recommended Fridays and Saturdays. We were seated quickly and within then promptly greeted by our server Natalie to grab our drink order. My husband and I shared the cheesy garlic bread app. The marinara dipping sauce is an arrabiata so it has a little kick to it, which we both really enjoyed. For our mains My husband ordered the flaming lips pizza and I went for the Tuscan Panzanella salad with chicken added. It was no surprise the pizza was fantastic, but I was shocked at how much I enjoyed my salad. I really appreciate when a restaraunt puts thought and effort into the craft of their salad's, especially when that's not their main specialty. Would definitely come back just for the salad, but can't wait to try other menu items next time! Despite it being busy, we were checked on multiple times throughout our meal. Pizza night with friends? Date night with partner? Family dinner? Federal has you covered! My fiancée popped by for a Yelp Elite event on Thursday evening and was quickly sat. Spacious dining room, bar, and, large outdoor patio (with heaters) can accommodate any size group. Ashley tended to us in rapid speed and didn't let up! Even other servers popped by to help if they saw empty plates or glasses. Food was beyond delicious and very well priced. I'm going to say this: the cheesy garlic bread is the best I ever had! Unpopular opinion: pizza from Federal put Trevor's to shame. No pretentiousness here. Very laid back but yet sophisticated. We're committed to coming back as often as possible. Federal Pizza at Paradise Valley has such a cool vibe!! It's much larger than the original Federal Pizza in central Phoenix. The staff is incredible and they're always so friendly and welcoming. I love that the bar is larger and has outdoor seating. The menu is a wide range of great Italian food options like salad, pizza, and pasta. I LOVED the new deep dish pizza which I tried for the first time this visit. The crust was perfect and the sauce to cheese ratio was also perfection. The cheesy bread is a great starter and a god portion plus it comes with the side of red sauce. The Double Down lunch special is also a great option if you're dining before 4p and lets you get half a pizza and a side salad for $15. I had the manifesto pizza and Caesar salad and it was plenty of food for 1 person. You can't go wrong with the beer or wine options either which is something Upward Projects very much excels at! read more

We had dinner here on Saturday evening and it was starting to get busy as several parties were standing waiting to be seated. Luckily, we ended up not waiting as a small table for two had just been cleared. We sat down and waited about 15 minutes for our server to come over over. He was friendly when he finally came and he gave us a rundown of the specials and ongoing happy hour deals. We ordered: One Caesar salad + gorgonzola One pepperoni pizza + garlic He kindly offered to plate the salad in two but when it was dropped off (by another server) it was not... oh well no biggie. The salad was really good. The croutons were my favorite and the lettuce was crisp and fresh. The pizza took forever to come out but it was worth it. Our waters sat empty for a while and our server went MIA. He didn't come back until we were basically done and I asked for a refill then. We noticed a few servers walk past our table multiple times, see our empty glasses, but no one asked if we needed refills... The inside is cute and the bathrooms were clean. read more

I was so excited to try this location because I had federal pizza probably about three years ago in South Phoenix and I remember being so good. I was so bummed with this visit. Our server was amazing and funny. We ordered The Federal Chop salad. That was delicious! I'll eat that all day. Then we ordered some chicken wings. We had to send them back because they were under cooked. We got two types of pizza. The Pineapple Express and The Big Star. So disappointing. Lacked flavor and needed salt. Was very floppy and soggy. We took the leftovers home and I reheated a piece the next day. I couldn't even finish that. The cheese got waxy, which makes me think it's not high-quality cheese but honestly, I don't know. I ended up throwing away all the leftovers. I definitely will not be coming back. There's way better pizza places out there. read more

I met at a friend here for dinner one night, and it was my first time trying the place. The menu has just enough options for it to be difficult to decide, (good thing) but we both got a pizza, and then we got the crispy mozzarella. I wasn't a huge fan of the mozzarella due to there being arugula on it, but I picked around it. The waitress warned that the Detroit style pizza would take a little bit of time to come out, Which we were fine with waiting. While we were waiting for our order to come out, we found it very difficult to have a conversation because it is so obnoxiously loud in this restaurant. Between the people chatting, the bar, and the extremely loud music, it was unbearable. We felt like we had to shout to hear each other, and it was just the two of us. Once our pizzas finally came out, I found that the Detroit style pizza was undercooked extremely. The crust was still super doughy, and it was really hard to eat the pizza because it was very flimsy, and all the toppings were falling off, due to it not being cooked well. My friend got the Margarita pizza and that one was delicious. I definitely want to try this place again, but I'm super bummed with the Detroit style pizza, considering how expensive it is and the long wait time for it to not even be cooked all the way. The overall dining experience due to how loud the music is was just really unbearable and not enjoyable at all. read more

Federal Pizza - PV Gus's Pan Pizza Detroit Style Supremium a thicker crust pizza with red sauce, sopressata salami, pepperoncini, sweet drop peppers, castelvetrano olives, wood roasted onions, oregano, grana paranoid, on a crispy caramelized crust. This was actually a very highly recommended item, I am a big fan of deep dish pizza, but this is Detroit Style pizza crust, a little on the side of thicker bread, I personally enjoyed it. Manifesto was a thin crust pizza with red sauce, cheese blend, fennel, mushroom trio, Italian sausage, we passed on the goat cheese. I really enjoyed the Manifesto Pizza, thin crust is very good, I personally just prefer the Detroit Style. We ordered the 15 Wings plain with sauce on the side, half came out with sauce, so later they comped us 15 more wings all with out sauce, which was unexpected but a great customer service gesture. Soft opening at Federal Pizza. Saturday before normal rush and place is packed. Party of nine seated. Good service with a few prompts. Wings and salads were good. We had an assortment of pizza including pepperoni, cheese, white fig, and supreme. Pizzas were about 12 inches and relatively thin. The white fig had balsamic and feta and was my favorite. I don't order wings much but would order them crispy next time. Cheese and pepperoni pizzas were very good. Supreme pizza was a bit soupy. We had a master pizza guy from New York in our party.
