What looks like free parking in the self-parking area actually isn't. There's a sign that says you have to pay for parking with a QR code. Parking is only free for 30 minutes. I'm not a fan of valet, but I'll take free valet service (minus the tip) over paying more for self parking. Now, let's get to the good stuff. As the self-appointed king of speakeasies, I'm back with another one. Ambiance: (4.5/5): I won't give all of the clues away, but walk to the third floor, look for a book shelf, and you're on the right track. Once you get inside, you'll find an intimate speakeasy. We're talking seating for 12 or so people or so, tops. I imagine getting a seat on a weekend is quite tough, so take that into account and make a reservation. When you do, you'll find out that there's a $25 cancellation fee per person if you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation. I understand that no shows negatively impact restaurants/bars, but I absolutely hate when the cost of doing business is passed off on customers. After over an hour, nothing came out including the six bottles of water inc with the cabana. The items came out a while after we called. Nonetheless, there was no ice tea and we received chips instead of fruit. At this point we weren't going to complain further. But an hour later no iced tea. In addition, the TV could not get certain channels, and the refrigerator did not work. The cabana rental was terrible esp bc I was a guest at the hotel, and I have Diamond status w/ Hilton: I wouldn't do it again.
