I've been here before and already knew I loved the vibe and the pizza, so it was an easy choice! I grabbed a slice of pepperoni, and it hit the spot. The crust had that perfect balance of crispness around the edges while staying soft and chewy in the center, with a flavorful tomato sauce, plenty of melty cheese, and those crispy, slightly curled pepperoni edges that make every bite extra good. The pizza and wings were definitely a solid meal overall. The pizza stood out the most--the crust had a nice golden bake with a good balance between crispy edges and a softer center. The toppings were loaded on generously, and I liked the variety of flavors across the pizza. Between the cheese, veggies, meat, sauce, and the crispy chicken pieces, every bite had something going on. The sauce added a nice sweet and tangy kick that pulled everything together, although a few areas felt a little heavy with toppings and sauce. The chicken wings were flavorful and well-seasoned, especially with the different styles giving you some variety. The sauced wings looked nicely coated with plenty of flavor, while the dry-seasoned wings had a good amount of seasoning on the outside. The dipping sauces were a nice touch and helped round everything out. I'd give the whole meal a 3.75 out of 5 --really good, satisfying, and definitely something I'd eat again. Ziggy's Magic Pizza Shop has a pretty cool name but they need a little magic to get to the next level. I stopped by on a Saturday night after attending a concern right next door at The Van Buren. I found free street parking a few minutes away on foot. As you'd expect, this pizza joint gets packed after a concert ends. Ambiance (3/5): Ziggy's is a small restaurant with only a few tables inside and a few more on the outdoor patio (which is where I sat). Most of the interior, when it's packed, is people standing in line to place their order and waiting to pick up their order. With that being said, I'll give them some props for having some cool old school Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles decor on their walls. Cowabunga dude! Service (2/5): This is where things could be improved. I understand that I came at the busiest time. With that being said, they know the drill with the concert goers wave. You'd think they'd have logistics a little faster to handle the demand. I waited at least 20 minutes to place my order and at least 10 to receive my order. I've seen pizza joints operate in high traffic areas and do things a lot quicker without sacrificing quality. Drinks (N/A): I didn't buy any beverages on this visit. Food (3/5): They sell pizza by the slice and whole pies. They were out of some of the pizza by the slice options while I was there. I ended up getting a slice of their weekly special which had bacon ricotta, ham, and hot honey. A+ for creativity, C for execution. The slice was a bit burnt which made a big impact. The ingredients were solid, the slice just needed a little more love. What I do love though is that they have a solid special: 2 slices and a drink fro a good price. I wasn't very hungry or I would've gone with this. During a normal visit, I imagine the experience at Ziggy's is better. I'll have to test that theory. And if you're trying to have some fun after chowing down on some pizza, Ziggy's is the entry point for a speakeasy. Hint hint. read more

We got half vegan and half the boss pizza. And so good. It's not too greasy. Some pizzas swim in grease but not this one. It was perfect. The crust was thin just like how pizza should be. Super dope spot, Pizzeria from the outside and an arcade on the inside! Great customer service as well as great food. They have some parking available as well, first come first serve though. I ordered a slice of "the boss" which is essentially a "Supreme" kind of combination of toppings, and then an order of ziggy fries which are parmesan & salt/ pepper The boss: 5/5 The crust is light and crunchy and the sauce, cheese, and toppings go together very well. Hey Yelp friends! This Pizza Shop is out of this world!!! We ordered a few different pizzas by the piece and it was all delish. My favs were the one with the hot honey, and the Maui one. This is a groovy little pizza shop up front. Throw back to all the 80's pop. They have seating outside on a patio. The most likable part of this place besides the delish pizza pie is the super cool speak easy style arcade/ bar/disco in the back. Super fun!! It's like you are entering the freezer and then you wind up in a whole other pinball party room. It's cool for families during the day with music and a light up dance floor with neon lights and glow in the dark colors. In the evenings they have a bar and it's adult time. PIZZA in a somewhat PINCH! Ziggy's was a life-saver considering I wanted a pizza at 10:30pm after a trip to the Suns game nearby. I was staying at the Hampton Inn with family so I placed a delivery order, I waited 45 mins for my extra-large pepperoni pizza. The online ordering system was a little whack, it took me a minute to get my order right. However, i eventually figured it out and was able to track my food. The wait was reasonable considering the DT Phoenix traffic and buzz following the game. My pizza came right at the approximate time, we received our order at the hotel lobby! The pizza place to enter through to get to Ziggy's had the coolest vintage ninja turtle toys on display. Throughout the hallways walk to entry of Ziggy's were funny posters and weird art that made us laugh out loud. Ziggy's was illuminated upon entry, I love the disco floor and the drinks were modestly priced so affordable. Trippy Red drink was reallyyyyyy good! My boyfriend and I loved the flavor! The only "magic" thing about this place is the $10 it made disappear from my bank account. Both slices I got were very underwhelming. They were thin, overcooked, and burnt. This place is SUPER COOL!!!! I know this pizza shop and the one across the street compete with one another but I honestly loved the vibes here more. If you plan to dine in, they actually have a secret hide out area where it's a cool place to hang out with a group of friends or take someone on a date. I've been to Stardust a couple dozen times, but never really bothered coming here because I assumed the pizza would be mid. I was right. I mean, I don't have any crazy expectations of a place open until last call. Slices of that nature just need to be good *enough*, and it is. What I like: Plenty of fun toppings to choose from. I did something unusual (for me) and ordered a Hawaiian, but there were some unusual pizzas, like barbecue sauce & onion ring. Slices are heaping witih toppings, big enough that you'll only really want one, and only 5 or 6 bucks a pop. What needs work: The crust doesn't hold up well and it gets a bit soggy. It can also take a really long time. Around 1030 or so it was 15-20 minutes to get my order. That's actually pretty bad for a by-the-slice place. It's also incredibly crowded, even if you don't count the space it shares with the line for the club. If it's the only thing open, go for it. read more
