Good pizza and good drinks. Cool place. Cute that the entrance to the game area/bar looks like a freezer. We ordered the honey hot pepperoni pizza, ziggy wings, starburst drink, pineapple passion drink. The food was yummy and the drinks were good.

Nice quick stop for lunch breaks when we're in the area. Plenty of options to choose from and good food as well pricing. Service is always fast and friendly. They have plenty of seating available for what ever size part you bring, kid and family friendly as well. Seem well kept when I've come in so far nice and clean as well stocked everything available and hot to serve!

We got half vegan and half the boss pizza. And so good. It's not too greasy. Some pizzas swim in grease but not this one. It was perfect. The crust was thin just like how pizza should be. I had this over at my hotel room. I was hosting my birthday and all my ladies said it's amazing. Even the vegan side was very good too.

The pizza was good! It was little bit too cheesy and runny, but to each their own. I like my pizza with a little more sauce. It was still yummy regardless. The portion size was huge to share with three people. The service was standard and friendly. Really enjoyed the speakeasy bar and the pinball machines. I'm sure this place gets packed at night during the weekend. Thank you!!! :)

Super dope spot, Pizzeria from the outside and an arcade on the inside! Great customer service as well as great food. They have some parking available as well, first come first serve though. I ordered a slice of "the boss" which is essentially a "Supreme" kind of combination of toppings, and then an order of ziggy fries which are parmesan & salt/ pepper The boss: 5/5 The crust is light and crunchy and the sauce, cheese, and toppings go together very well. Ziggy fries 5/5 the fries they use have some sort of light batter so they're crunchy and flaky a lil bit but not too much. Fried to perfection Will be coming back here when I'm ever in PHX, AZ. Thanks Ziggys

Hey Yelp friends! This Pizza Shop is out of this world!!! We ordered a few different pizzas by the piece and it was all delish. My favs were the one with the hot honey, and the Maui one. This is a groovy little pizza shop up front. Throw back to all the 80's pop. They have seating outside on a patio. The most likable part of this place besides the delish pizza pie is the super cool speak easy style arcade/ bar/disco in the back. Super fun!! It's like you are entering the freezer and then you wind up in a whole other pinball party room. It's cool for families during the day with music and a light up dance floor with neon lights and glow in the dark colors. In the evenings they have a bar and it's adult time. The pizzas have cool names. You can order from the many options. Check it out! We will be back when we are back in the area for sure! The staff is cool and helpful for sure. The name definitely fits this pizza place. Check it out!!

PIZZA in a somewhat PINCH! Ziggy's was a life-saver considering I wanted a pizza at 10:30pm after a trip to the Suns game nearby. I was staying at the Hampton Inn with family so I placed a delivery order, I waited 45 mins for my extra-large pepperoni pizza. The online ordering system was a little whack, it took me a minute to get my order right. However, i eventually figured it out and was able to track my food. The wait was reasonable considering the DT Phoenix traffic and buzz following the game. My pizza came right at the approximate time, we received our order at the hotel lobby! The pizza was solid, I'd say it's in the middle of the pack when it comes to local pizza. I would like to try their other options as the pepperoni was amazing.

Ziggy's is our favorite pizza spot! We love coming with our kids not just for the pizza and wings, but of course for the pinball games. Our kids can play and be kids while I enjoy my wings and fries. The Ziggy Fries are so good!!! And I love it with the Stardust wings. We've always had great service and super nice servers. Sometimes they give my kids free tokens too. They do have pretty loud music, like any time of the day we go, but honestly we don't mind because they play good music.

    Yummy drinks,

The pizza place to enter through to get to Ziggy's had the coolest vintage ninja turtle toys on display. Throughout the hallways walk to entry of Ziggy's were funny posters and weird art that made us laugh out loud. Ziggy's was illuminated upon entry, I love the disco floor and the drinks were modestly priced so affordable. Trippy Red drink was reallyyyyyy good! My boyfriend and I loved the flavor! It was reminiscent of a candy. We had a lot of fun, more than anticipated, playing pinball. The bartender was quick and the service was with a smile. Love the trippy lights and the hallway to bathroom was bizarre. Such an adventure and there was free parking out front which was nice.

My friends and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. We went to the bar for a drink. It's so cool inside. Music is great. Bartender was great. It's spacious and fun. The drinks were great. I want to come back and try the pizza.

The only "magic" thing about this place is the $10 it made disappear from my bank account. Both slices I got were very underwhelming. They were thin, overcooked, and burnt. The dough tasted like absolutely nothing. The sauce was good but minimal. I ate half of one slice and threw the rest away. The person taking our order wasn't friendly. The back of the restaurant is cool, complete with a lit up dance floor and arcade. I've been here at night, and it essentially turns into a club with loud music.

Always a great late night spot. Pizza is always fresh and hot, and the wait is typically not too long (if it's not crazy busy post-Van Buren events!). The 2 slice + drink deal is pretty reasonable and really hits the spot after a night out! I love the pepperoni, and their ranch pairs perfectly with it. It is a small shop for sure, with barely any seating so that's definitely something to keep in mind. I honestly don't mind sitting on the curb or taking it to go, but if you want to eat it then and there it might be a little hassle.

Pizza was good not great. What really helped was the low cost of $4 a slice. Also has a hidden area that really adds to the ambiance. Service was fast. I'll be back to try out their themed nights.

Ask the Community - Ziggys Magic Pizza Shop

Is this place good for kids? Is this the pizza shop with the hidden arcade?

I would say yes during the day. At night it turns into the stardust lounge.

    What's the special today?

The napoleon dynamite! Tots, bacon, chives cheddar and jalapeno! Do yourself a favor and order some…

Is this a ok place to take the kids? Can they play pinball?

This place will be more of a young adult vibe but kids are certainly welcome to play the games.

What time is Happy Hour :)?

Not sure if they have happy hour, I've only gotten delivery from them.

We ordered a couple of sodas and the same slices we ordered last time, pepperoni and vodka slices. The slices were delivered in no time! They were hot and crispy! I don't know what happened, but the quality just wasn't there. I could not taste the sauce on my pizza. It was non existent. It was like eating pizza bread with cheese and pepperoni. The Vodka pizza had no detectable sauce on it either. It also tasted just like cheese bread. I don't know if its because of different pizza makers or the new standard, but I was disappointed. You can also get a whole pie of your choice. They grate fresh parm on all the slices which I thought was a nice touch. The girl at the register seemed very knowledgeable about all the pizzas and gave us lots of details and recommendations which we appreciated. First we got the green, di Parma, and the Phoenix. The green has pistachios and fresh arugula on it, I thought the overall flavor was too sweet and the pistachios weren't crush enough. The Phoenix was good, very honey forward and overall the flavor didn't stick out to me. The di Parma was a cheese pizza with procuttio and ricotta, overall a little plain to me. I think they all would've tasted better hot, but I understand that's not super realistic for a slice shop. For our second order we got the vodka sauce slice, which was for sure my favorite. First of all it was piping hot, and that elevated the whole experience. I thought the sauce was so flavorful and savory, and the basil made a perfect bite. I would go back for a whole pie of this! I really liked the prices here, we got dinner for less than $25 for 2. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some other slices and get a pie of the vodka!

I won't add to my previous review regarding the food, as it is still just as fantastic. And while the old location had its charm (mainly that it was more intimate and a bit quieter), the new location is overall an immense improvement. First of all, it is much larger, modern, and very tastefully decorated without losing as much of the intimacy as they could keep. For instance, the decor on the walls makes you feel like you are somewhat at home, with photos of the Spinato family and other tasteful finishes. Everything is comfortable without being too casual or formal. It's definitely more open concept now, and bar-lovers will appreciate the full bar, as the old location only had a tiny one. The covered patio area is much nicer, and with an eastern exposure, it should bake in the sun less than the old place's western exposure for most of their operating hours. We were seated at a half-booth, and the restaurant was very crowded because it was their first Friday night at this location. Nonetheless, we arrived early enough to be seated without a wait. I will say that the food took a very long time to arrive--40 minutes or more--but I'm chalking that up to the crowd and growing pains at the new location. Our server recognized us, welcomed us to the new place, and was as friendly as usual, though he didn't have much time for chat-chat with how busy they were. Very much looking forward to more visits to Spinato's at this fabulous new location!

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.
