Moving from NJ to AZ, it's hard to find good Italian food that reminds us of home. Took my dad (the harshest critic you know) to Saint Pasta and he loved it so much he ordered a second to go entree for the next day. The cutlets are amazing, the appeteizers were A+, and the pasta was incredible. Love everything about this place. Thank god we found some good pasta in the desert read more

Amazing! What an experience. From the food to the drinks to the atmosphere and the major stars here: the service. My oh my did Joe and Crow take incredible care of us. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Attentive. Funny. Down to earth. Don't get me wrong, the food is incredible. One of the best Caesar salads I've ever had. The chicken parm with the pink sauce is to die for. And the cocktail menu is really well thought out. Everything here is top notch. The entire meal was perfect. Truly perfect. Thank you Joe, Crow and Saint Pasta. I can't wait to go back!!! read more

When I googled "pasta downtown Phoenix", I was SUPER excited to see this spot pop up. I had eaten at this food truck a few years ago at the Pemberton, I had ordered the linguini garlic and oil w breaded chicken cutlet, and it was yummy! I was sad to see when they closed down. Imagine my delight to see them have a brick and mortar store! AMBIANCE: The place is honestly a little bit small, but they definitely work with what they've got. Expect lots of bar top seating and only four proper seated tables. The kitchen is also an open concept so you can see what all the people are doing. When you step in, you can smell the garlic smell in the air (mmm ), but you do end up smelling like that a little bit too. It was kinda noisy and the music was a little bit too loud for me (tho it was fun old school r&B jams). I had to scoot real close to my friend to hear what she was saying. The lighting is also reddish-blue, so not the cutest for pics of food and selfies. The place was bustling and busy the whole time we were there, good for them! FOOD: The menu is pretty limited; however, I would rather a place have a small menu with yummy food, rather than a large menu with mediocre items. For pasta, I do feel the pricing is a little bit on the higher side. However, the quality of the food is good and the flavors are yummy, so that makes up for it. Caesar salad: We got this to share and it was really good. I wished there was a stronger anchovy flavor; however, that is just personal preference. I loved the breadcrumbs on the salad. Linguini garlic and oil (I added a breaded chicken cutlet): The linguini was perfectly al dente (I don't usually like al dente pasta, don't come for me ) but I liked it! It was crispy w breadcrumbs and garlicky. The breaded chicken cutlet was perfectly crispy. I think the only thing I would have added was a teensy bit of salt. And I wish my linguini portion was a little bit bigger. Chicken vodka Parmesan: My friend got this and she liked it. I also thought it was good, not overly mushy. I also got a Jamaican cider and it was decent. They do have a varied drink menu as well, w beer, wine and cocktails. SERVICE: Being such a small spot, it's hard to have bad service, I feel. Our server was very attentive and checked up on us often. They also refilled our waters without asking, which was nice. OVERALL THOUGHTS: I was happy to see the food truck had evolved into this place. My friend enjoyed her food and so did I. The total bill ended up being $100 after tip, so maybe on the higher side, but I felt it was worth it for me. The rules are strict here though (no substitutions, etc) so please don't be fussy or rude to staff, otherwise you will literally end up paying for it. We left, full and happy but also smelling like eau de garlic (no regrets though! ) I would definitely come back to this place and try some other things! read more

This was my parties first time at Saint Pasta and our overall experience was just all right. The restaurant and the vibe overall is trying too hard. The flavor profiles of the dishes were unique, I will give it that, but it was so salty. We drank so much water. If al dente pasta is your thing, then you might like it, but some of the noodles were al dente and some were borderline crunchy. The website says, "we're not for everybody," and I can definitely see why. The music was so loud you can't hear anyone you are sitting down with and our server spoke so quietly we had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times throughout the night. read more

I'm a little late writing this review, but I absolutely had to shout out Saint Pasta! My husband and I went for dinner on Valentine's Day and I'm so glad we did. The ambiance was awesome -- great music, lighting, and a small, intimate space that's set up perfectly.....including down and dirty rap/hip-hop. The specialty cocktails were amazing, with incredible attention to detail and flawless execution. We started with the garlic bread appetizer with whipped ricotta and it was so good. We let the bartender choose our entrée and ended up with the Bucatini Limone... and it was off the chain! The pasta was incredible -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and surprisingly light. It didn't leave us feeling heavy or bloated like pasta sometimes does. They advertise that they're "not for everyone," but they're definitely for us. We're already looking forward to going back!! read more

Great quick service. Menu is straightforward and ordering is simple as there are no modifications. The quality of the pasta and the flavor of the sauce are great and the prices are extremely reasonable considering that. Will have to come back whenever I come back to town, would recommend to anybody in the area. read more

I came on a Saturday night at 8 PM. The wait was over 30 minutes which was fine, it's a Saturday night but come to find out that they ran out of Cesar salad & the waiter was trying to figure out what salad they had available & it was just arugula with tomato. Here for the clout... JK. Really saints here bc the persecution of these haters is relentless. I've been rocking with Saint Pasta since their food truck days, and let me tell you sum: they still deliver every single time. The flavors? Fire. The quality? Unmatched. The vibes? Immaculate. Every bite feels like a warm hug from your favorite European nonna (even if you've never had one). I've never been to Italy, but I grew up spending summers (and some winters) in NYC, and this place hits that nostalgic spot hard. Like back when food actually tasted good and you got what you paid for. Also, can we talk about the staff? Always kind, always cool, always going above and beyond. So YES, the founder's notes--especially about tipping--are 100% called for. If you've never worked in food service or customer-facing roles, you truly have no idea the things miserable people will say and do to someone just trying to serve them with dignity. It's gross. Tip your servers, check your attitude, and respect the space. Saint Pasta is that place. Periodt. read more

We came on a Friday night around 5:30pm and it was getting busy. The service was really good, we were greeted by the host and our server was super sweet. This is a spot to check out at least once and would be fun for a night out. It's not my style, but I can see why people like it. It gives off the vibe of a bar setting, the music was playing really loud. The menu is small, so it isn't hard to choose what to order. There are comments on the menu that seem a little threatening and intimidating towards customers? There is a difference between being rude vs. constructive feedback. I understand everyone has different expectations and tastes when it comes to restaurants. Factors that determined my review rating was the price, food, ambiance, and service. You can tell the chicken is hand breaded and made in house, it was the best thing we tried that night. I wish the pesto in the gnocchi had more flavor, it was creamy. The salad was unique and had a strong lemon flavor. ig: @cravingswithcat read more

Amazing birthday dinner! We ordered one of everything on the menu and shared, and every dish was excellent. The food is outstanding. The Caesar salad was unlike anything we've had before and was my absolute favorite (not sharing their house secret ). The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauces were spot on. The staff is friendly, attentive, and works like a well-oiled machine. The owner is present, greeting and chatting with guests, which really adds to the experience. The restaurant is very clean with a relaxing industrial feel. Parking is convenient despite the location. Don't let reviews about the owner's attitude scare you off. He clearly cares about his business and his staff and has zero tolerance for nonsense. The menu is exactly what's offered, and dishes are not altered--which is why they're able to operate so smoothly and consistently. If you're very picky or need modifications, this may not be the place for you--but if you appreciate great food done right, you'll love it. Highly recommend. Arrive early or expect a wait. read more

Good news: the restaurant is small with limited table and bar-type seating. Service was good and the size of the food portions were large and delicious! This is where the good news ends. Bad news: the hip hop, rap music was SO DEAFENING AND SO LOUD, it took away from the enjoyment of dinner and the inability to hold a conversation. read more

Service and food was excellent. A little over priced but what can you expect during these trying times.

Ambiance: small simple place Food: I ordered the rigatoni vodka ($20), it doesn't come with protein and if you want to add chicken it's $7. Pricey pasta but I've had it before and loved it so I thought it would be worth it Service: everything was fine until... my friend ordered the vodka pasta and it was too spicy for her, due to dietary reasons she can't eat spice. She then asked to exchange it for something else. Later on when the bill came, the server, Jocelyn, told us she was going to charge her for both pastas. We questioned why as she didn't eat the first one. She had the manager come over and he proceeded to say he would give her 50% off for the pasta she didn't eat. We still didn't think this was fair. We explained that it didn't say on the menu that it was spicy and he answered with "it's common knowledge that vodka sauce is spicy" he said he was a chef from New Jersey and has always known it to be spicy. He proceeded to argue with us for a few minutes and we explained that we should've been told at the time they took it away that it was going to be charged. This is what finally made him take the pasta off the bill. Very bad experience that will definitely keep me from coming back or suggesting it to anyone. The friends I was with were visiting and this gave them a bad representation of Phoenix. read more

I was so excited to hear that Saint Pasta was opening a brick & mortar location after visiting their food truck several times when it was at the Pemberton. I wasn't sure how seating would go with no reservations being taken and it being first Friday but we lucked out and were able to snag seats at the bar without a more than 10 min wait. The space is cozy but had loud vibrant music, fun mood lighting and the Sporanos playing in the background. The bartenders were so friendly and the food did not disappoint. The rigatoni vodka with the ricotta on top was delicious and saucy with a hint of a kick. The cheesecake for dessert, just yum. I can't wait to see what they add to the menu after the soft opening. I will be back. read more

I was so looking forward to eating here because the food all looked amazing. Unfortunately they lost our order and we didn't have time to stay, but we did try the Caesar salad. It was great. One thing to consider is the music didn't necessarily fit the atmosphere if you're OK with NC-17 music that loud and hard to have conversation. I'll probably give them another try because the menu looks amazing read more

It was my first time in Arizona and I wanted to see what the hype was about the food. The service and an ambience of the place was very nice, but the food had no seasoning which made me fairly disappointed. I also felt like I could not truly express my opinion there because there is a fee for 30% if you are rude, which sounds fair, but honestly scared me from telling them that I did not enjoy the food. read more

If your party is more than 2 people, don't bother. They cannot accommodate and will put you outdoors with no fans or misters. Despite only just soft opening, Saint Pasta is already one of the best if not the best pasta restaurant in town! I ordered their spaghetti with garlic + oil (aglio e olio) w/chicken cutlet and a dollop of their whipped ricotta. My friends and I went to Saint pasta on 1/3, we've all been fans of the sauce for a while now so we were excited to finally have a restaurant to visit. The wait was about 25 minutes, which wasn't a problem since there are multiple bars nearby to grab a drink. By the time we finished our cocktails next-door, they were ready to see us. Our waitress was inviting and extremely friendly. I would be happy to sit in Jessica's section again! We got a bottle of wine and three entrées. All were delicious and will definitely come back for more. The cheesecake was phenomenal. I ordered one to go for my husband, but ended up eating it myself. We will definitely be back! read more

The drinks were fantastic, the service was awesome, and the food was delicious. So how come three stars? I ordered the gnocchi pesto, and I've never been served a smaller amount of pasta in my life. I'm not a large guy, but I didn't really feel like this was enough to feed a child lol. Delicious it was, but I must have missed the warning about tiny portions. I don't like leaving a restaurant feeling like I need another whole meal. I glanced at the food on display at other tables when I walked in and nothing led me to believe that this place specialized in small portions, or if it does I missed it. That's on me, I will ask clarifying questions next time read more

It might be that my expectations were far higher. It might be that I've had really fantastic Italian New York, New Jersey style and Scottsdale in the past it might be that me and my wife are Italian from New Jersey New York and we have a different level than everyone else. I took myself on a solo date here and enjoyed it. I know they are typically busy but I got seated right away as a single walk in. The building is tight. Every seat feels a bit cramped though I'm not sure if the same is true for outside. The service is incredible and you could see it was all hands on deck to preserve the customer experience. I ordered the rigatoni vodka with a breaded chicken cutlet, and a can of Diet Coke. The noodles were perfectly al dente. The texture was amazing and I was very happy with the portion size. The sauce is really the only thing I have a small issue with. It was good, don't get me wrong, but it seemed to be lacking. I didn't taste any extraordinary ingredients or flavor coming from it. That said, the consistency was perfect. Many pasta places don't serve enough sauce, but Saint Pasta is generous I wasn't running out of sauce by the end of my dish. I am autistic so I wear headphones everywhere I go. The music is loud if you are sound sensitive, so consider that in advance. read more

This place is so cozy. It's small and such a simple menu. It's easier to go if it's just 2 of you but I have seen a group of 8 girls snag a table too. I really enjoyed saint pasta, the menu is on the smaller side but they do each item really well (and that's all that matters). Started off with a few of their cocktails and then shared a few apps with friends-the Cesar salad was a great starter, also tried the fries (the aioli it came with was delicious!) Got the vodka pasta and added the chicken and ricotta. It all was really good, but does get a bit pricey for a bowl of pasta with any additions- as pasta starts at $20 and the ricotta adds $3 and chicken another $7. read more

Saint Pasta is the best pasta in Arizona! I first tried it in 2021 out of their food truck and I was SO excited to see a restaurant open. I went the first week and the service was incredible, the food amazing, and the drinks were the perfect cherry on top. The cost is 100% worth it for the quality and portion sizes. Had this place for the first time at their food truck and loved it. Bought their sauce in the mean time to hold me over. Of course I had to check out their brick and mortar spot now that it was finally opened. Tried their ceasar salad which was amazing along with their garlic pinsa(also yum). They were unfortunately out of their chicken dishes so just added the cutlet on top of my pasta. We also got the cheesecake which was AMAZING! Overall the food is exactly how I remember it. The place is cute. We got there when it opened so seating was super fast. There is also parking in the garages nearby which is super nice. Only critique I have was the service could have been a bit better. I didn't think it was too busy but it was hard to get our waitresses attention sometimes to order, get things like additional plates so we coule share the apps or water refills. Beyond that, really good food and excited to check it out again to try the new additions to their menu along with the chicken parm dishes we weren't able to try the first time. read more
