This place is fun! 100% ambiance spectacular, outdoor and indoor spaces, its all vibatious! I had to make up a word to describe it. Visited on a Wednesday night for dinner. Guess what? An hour wait for a table. Be forewarned, make a ressy. Luckly, to the open seating at the bar, we go! Couldn't have worked out better. Anthony and Ralph took great care of everything. Recommendations, conversations, smiles and laughs. Drinks are unique and well served. The Santana roll was saucy and delicious. That being said downtown parking is always hit or miss. Plan ahead to find parking. Cant wait to be back and enjoy more.

This is my favorite spot to come downtown. Absolute favorite roll is the habanero yellowtail roll. The service is always great. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming.

The ambiance here is absolutely lovely. Everything about this place is so well put together. It feels like you have been transported to a tropical oasis. There is such a whimsical tropical feel here that it is super inviting. Unfortunately, I can't the same for the sushi I had Crunchy LA and Crunchy Palma. I think sometimes the esthetics can distract from the food experience. In this case, the food definitely was a miss. The Mocktail I had also looked beautiful but filled with too much ice. So the theme I see here is go for the look/ambiance but don't really expect much from the food.

This place is amazing!! The aesthetics, service and food were all THE BEST! Orders the nam nom noddle salad, popcorn chicken and avocado rolls. It was ALL fresh and delicious. seriously! So much flavor in the salad! So colorful, fresh and every bite had amazing flavor! I'm sure this place gets super packed on the weekends. I came on a Monday and their happy hour menu was LONG. Tons of things to choose From. Definitely have to try this place out!

Palma has now become one of my favorite spots in downtown for food and drinks before a night out!! I've been eying this place for a long time and finally got the chance to try. For it being downtown and such an aesthetically looking place my friends and I were shook at the prices. So much more affordable than other places around the city. I had their lychee lowdown drink and it was soooo delicious for only $13! I also tried their yellowtail habanero and crunch palma roll and was overly satisfied. If you like spice I 100% recommend the yellowtail habanero roll!! oh! we also shared an order of their thai curry fries which were delicious (at least I thought so as I love anything and everything with a little tang)! The only thing I have to say is we didn't realize outside seating was only lounge patio seating. It was a bit uncomfortable to eat but we still really enjoyed the vibe!!

Best smash burger in the city! Honestly, I'm still thinking about this burger. If you're tired of those "gourmet" burgers that are 5 inches tall and impossible to eat, this is your spot. The patties had those insane crispy, lacy edges that only happen when they actually smash them right on the griddle. It's savory, and has that perfect crust, but the middle is still juicy. The bun is super soft that actually holds up and doesn't get soggy. Next time I will try the jalapeño smash burger. Great outdoor seating perfect for brunch and to enjoy your espresso martini with their sweet vanilla cold foam! The only parking available is metered parking. Also there is a table time limit during brunch hours.

Tried once more to give Palma a chance but the service has gone even more downhill. Nobody is attentive had to keep pulling different servers. Had bartenders at the bar standing in front of you completely ignoring you. Such a shame because I used to recommend this place to everyone. Definitely not now.

Pretty chill patio, good for a leisurely birthday brunch with friends. Even with the dj it wasn't too much.

Enjoying our time here during the week, not the weekend was a blessing; to be able to enjoy and appreciate it all without the busy crowds. It felt like SpongeBob Squarepants' older, more chic brother's hangout. Like that 50's surfer kinda vibe, unknown? Anyway, lots to take in; the cool atmosphere, the pinball machines, the mini-bowling (?) lanes, etc. Drinks were strong and food was good. A nice pre-game, date spot or what have you before a night out on the town. Probably be cool to spend time here as well...!

What a cute bar! Came here on a Saturday in the late afternoon for a few cocktails and was so happy that we did. Super fun vibe, huge outdoor patio space, friendly bartenders and delicious cocktails. What more do you need? I had one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had in my life at Palma. Perfectly mixed, foamy and delicious, with just the right balance of sweetness. It brought me back to life after a long day of traveling, for sure. The themed drinks here are really fun. You can order one that comes in a Chinese take-out container. I can't speak to the food but what was coming out looked delicious. The bartenders were happy to answer any and all questions, and didn't even mind when we reopened a tab after deciding to stay longer. A great find.

I went to Palma on a Friday night with my best friend while we were downtown Phoenix looking for a place to grab a bite and catch up, and it ended up being such a great choice! I ordered the Flower Child Free Spirit and the Crunchy LA, and the drink was phenomenal, sweet, tropical, and so delicious. The sushi was also very good, and I especially loved the chili sauce they put on top, it added the perfect kick. My friend got the Peach Fuzzy and the shrimp tacos, which she said were both really good and pretty filling. The tacos also came with chips and sauce, which was a nice bonus. Overall, great vibes, tasty food, and amazing drinks. Definitely a spot I'd keep coming back to!

Lychee Lowdown + Palma [Share] Yummy Fries

I attended Palma for a girls night out, and as always had to get the Lychee Lowdown(13)! I also tried the Yummy Fries(11) for the first time and they were devine! I loved the ginger add-on to them and the amount of sauce. Our server was super sweet, but seating wise I was disappointed. It was a bit awkward seating with these low tables and you feel almost too tucked away. But if we were at another table it would have been perfect. So no worries, had a great night overall.

Happy hour menu!

Delicious food & drinks, happy hour UNTIL 7pm on FRIDAY! Walk don't run to Palma ASAP! The restaurant space is so cute, with a huge outdoor patio & bar. We walked in at 6pm on a Friday and the wait for 2 people was 1.5 hours, but we were able to grab seats at the bar! I was SHOCKED to be handed a happy hour menu so late on a Friday (San Diego could never). The prices were so low, bartenders were lovely, and service was so quick. My favorite item by far was the Yummy Fries - if you like sweet potato fries you MUST try it! The chili aioli, soy sauce, and delicious toppings were perfect on top of the crispy, waffle-cut fries. I will be dreaming about these until my next trip to phoenix!! The rest of the food and drinks were also good, I had a spicy tuna maki roll and their frozen margarita. Would highly recommend stopping for a drink and a bite to eat at Palma after work or before a friday night out!

Breakfast - A breakfast plate includes two slices of toasted bread, scrambled eggs, strips of cooked bacon, three fried cheese balls, and a small cup of syrup. The food is arranged on a gray oval plate, with the syrup in a white cup. The image captures a typical breakfast setting with a focus on the food items.

Many of which do not contain additives. I won't lie, I thought I was a big fan until I realized I didn't recognize a lot of the tequilas they had on hand. Downstairs is a whole different vibe. Custom craft cocktails, dim lighting with artwork, and more make it feel like an upscale NYC spot in your basement. It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.

The restaurant itself is hidden inside another called Coabana, but there is a door clearly labeled Cocktails to get to it. Through the door the hustle and bustle of the busy restaurant outside gives way to a cocktail bar that feels much more intimate, with dark lighting and quieter music than is playing outside. It was perfect to converse and enjoy drinks with friends! This time we went with some friends, and each of us could not stop talking about how good everything was! We started with In To The Blue shots for the table, which were so good we wished we had sipped them. Then we ordered our first round of drinks and food. We shared a plate of nachos and they had the perfect balance of toppings and chips, then my partner and I ordered some tacos and a Cubano Sammie. The sandwich was delicious, much better than the average Cubano I've come across in Phoenix. The tacos were also great, and $11 for 3 was a steal! Our friends also got tacos, which they enjoyed. My partner ordered Cupid's Dagger and the Insomniac to drink, and she loved both of them! Cupid's Dagger was also served with a bubble of smoke and it was on a little silver tray, which was cool. I ordered the Son of a Peach and Femme Fatale, and they were both delicious. The Femme Fatale was also served inside of a wooden cake tray filled with smoke, which was a very cool experience and added to the flavor of the drink. All in all this is not just a restaurant, but an experience. And if you have some money to go out in downtown Phoenix, I would say this experience is not one to miss!
