Small neighborhood spot a block off Roosevelt Row but they are pumping out some good food and jams !!! We arrived before they opened and already had a line , we got seated at the bar and started off with the garlic bread which was delicious (I would go back just for that) . I also ordered the rigatoni vodka and my boyfriend got the chicken parm , the pasta was cooked perfectly and the chicken parm is definitely shareable. There are no substitutions or modifications !!! The only thing is I felt a little rushed even though they give you 90 min (which we were done in less than an hour) but the server just stood back holding the card reader the whole time .

First time coming here and the food was delicious! My friend and I walked in on a Friday afternoon and were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise since it's usually busy on days like that. We asked to sit outside and although it was a bit chilly, the heaters kept us comfortable. The service was polite and attentive, and they played fun music that really set the mood and got us energized for the rest of the night. The food was perfection! I couldn't have asked for better pasta. I ordered the Bucatini Limone, and the pasta they used made the flavors burst with every bite. The breaded cutlet was amazing too! I don't always enjoy chicken, but I ate every last bite. My friend ordered the spaghetti arrabbiata, and after trying a bite, I can say it was just as good! Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back to try more of the menu!

We saw some tasty Instagram reels on this place and had to check out when we were in Phoenix. We arrived and it's kind of "speakeasy-ish" there's no signs on the outside you just have to know.. if you arrive slightly before they open just look for the line of people waiting to get in. It's a small little joint with some bar seating and 5 or 6 tables inside and a small patio outside with more tables. The kitchen is right behind the counter and you can watch them work their magic while you eat. It's a very simple menu and they execute all of the items very well. We were sat at the counter/bar (my opinion best seat in the house). We ordered the garlic pinsa bread (you have to order the bread) and it arrived hot and aromatic (absolutely delicious). For dinner I ordered the chicken Parmesan and my girlfriend ordered the rigatoni vodka. The pasta is not made on property but made by a local business (so it's still fresh).. the sauce however is made fresh everyday in house. The chicken Parmesan was fantastic and the pasta dish was great, the sauce was great but I think the pasta was a little undercooked.. I love Al dente pasta but this was a little too much. Needless to say I would most definitely eat here again.

Yummy restaurant! The vodka pasta was my favorite, definitely getting that again next time. I also LOVED the Caesar salad. Our waitress was so sweet, and there was no wait on a Sunday around 5:30!

This is a fun neighborhood spot if you're in the area. VERY small and I don't believe they do reservations so be prepared to wait during peak hours. We came during a weekday so it wasn't too busy. The concept here is essentially what you see is what you get. They don't accommodate modifications so if you're picky or particular, this might not be the place for you. However, all that aside, this place definitely has its appeal. I can't help but getting a alternative/hipster vibe meets Italian/soprano moment. The ambiance is very moody. Relatively dark inside with the exception of some blue/purple lights and neon signs. Staff were pretty straight forward. Not in your face or overly friendly but definitely helpful. It has a casual feel to it but I could see someone dressing it up or down if you're on a date. The food was good. Again, a bit of a smaller menu but pretty much similar stuff you would find in a lot of Italian restaurants. I don't think they are trying to reinvent the wheel but definitely have their own unique touches. We shared a Caesar salad and it was HUGE. I thought it needed a touch of acid, like lemon, but it was very good as is. The gnocchi was super soft and pillowy and the pesto was actually surprisingly mild in my opinion. There was a touch of sweetness in the dish that I liked. I paired it with a chicken cutlet add-on and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't dry. Very good. My friend ordered a vodka sauce and rigatoni. She also added the chicken cutlet. Hers felt like home-style comfort food to me. A very nice, bright, tomato sauce that kind of transported me back to growing up in New York. Definitely a classic. The drinks are fun here. At least the the dirty martini w/ clarified tomato. Very different. So much flavor it almost felt like you're drinking Italian dressing, but in a good way. I get the impression that their bartender/mixologist has fun with the drink menu. The Chianti wine was also very good if you wanna play it safe. Overall, it's a good spot. Nothing super fancy but definitely unique. We spent roughly 140$ for 1 app, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks. The prices are fair here and I think it would be a good spot for a date night or just trying something new and cool!

If there was 10 starts if mark them all. The food, the music, the service, the location. Everything!!!! I think I fell in love lol I haven't stopped thinking about the pasta and the mozz since I had it. Watching the chef do his thing is mesmerizing, like art. Our server Lily was awesome! And she definitely added to our experience. I hope to be back very very soon!

Overall, I had a great meal at Saint pasta! The cocktail I had the Angel water was really delicious and very flavorful I had the garlic bread to start, and it was really garlic and delicious and the ricotta came with was really good too. It was a nice buttery way to start the meal. For pastas, I had the vodka sauce with the chicken cutlet on it, and the chicken cutlet definitely stole the show for me. It is so crispy and delicious I liked the pasta, but I would prefer the vodka sauce be a little creamer personally I also had the lemon pasta and it was very lemony and a little bit tart, but it had a really nice flavor and was still very balanced The bartender Phillip was excellent and the ambience is really cool. I would definitely come back here.

Super cute place, love the small menu, colored lights, hip hop music and sopranos playing on the wall. Great food a little pricey but worth it. I had a blackberry cucumber margarita 10/10. My bestie had a cranberry vodka drink, kinda tasted like Christmas, wasn't a fan.

My new go-to pasta spot. Wow this place is good. First off, the vibe is immaculate. Blue lighting with the red neon bouncing off the counter, music rocking and the projector playing movies over the bar. Whoever designed the place killed it, well done. Secondly, if you come here you MUST get some drinks. Their bartenders are so friendly and down to talk about the restaurant and its history, and the drinks are truly one of a kind. I'd highly recommend the Dirty Tomato Martini Cocktail, or the Watermelon Basil Mule Mocktail. Finally, the pasta. Dude. I promise I'm not overhyping this place. Easily the best pasta I've had (aside from my Italian Grandma's, love you Grandma). 100% get the ricotta, 100% get the hand breaded chicken on it, you will not be disappointed. Cannot stop raving about this place, what an amazing find, and I will undoubtedly be back.

Everything about this place was awesome. Great service, quick seating on a Friday evening, excellent food and amazing drinks. The music was jamming, the orders came out staggered and hot, and everything was a yes. Will definitely be back for a new round of entree selections, More drinks and getting my lips on a slice of that cheesecake. Menu is simple and perfect. When I say I want good pasta and a vibe, then it means take me to Saint Pasta!

Saint Pasta never misses. The pasta is fresh, the flavors are rich, and the portions are generous. It's the kind of place that instantly becomes your favorite. Highly recommend!

Honestly no notes! This places lives up to every bit of the hype. It is perfectly quaint and high quality all at the same time. Service was incredible, vibes were immaculate and food was to die for..... and that Cesar salad was a 12 out of 10, I mean cmon, look at those bread crumbs, please.

The restaurant is pretty small/intimate. The service was pretty disorganized; one host sent us the text saying the table was ready and then another host said no it wasn't so we had to wait another 15 minutes, only to be seated outside after requesting a table indoors. The patio seating was so hot with no fans OR misters. It was pretty uncomfortable in the AZ heat. At that point we were too hungry to care, so we sat outside. We ordered the fries (appetizer), and the vodka rigatoni, The spaghetti, and the chicken parm. Small portions for the pasta, which was an OK taste, but the price was not worth it for the taste and portions. The fries were overcooked and dry which was disappointing. Our waitress was very nice though and did her best!!

An extra treat was that they have bottles of spicy oil on the tables, so I was able to enjoy the crusts by slathering them with the tasty oil as though they were breadsticks. On the way out, after mentioning to the bartender how good the oil was, I was gifted a couple of condiment cuplets to-go, which was a thoughtful and nice touch and sort of made up for the server who wasn't particularly warm or informative as I had to ask about the specials and whether or not all the pasta is freshly made, etc. Heck, if you have a great selling point like homemade pasta, talk it up and get us to drooling! There is a variety of seating available, including outside and at the bar--bar has an inside section as well as outside which is a nice design for the lovely weather days. However, it's unfortunate that the outdoor seating is on such a busy traffic corner, so it's not the little retreat it would otherwise be. The lunchtime music was more like happy hour music, not conducive to conversation--maybe for the cellphones-at-the -table crowd it's okay, but being near the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona Opera, why not add to the cultural experience of the area by celebrating its Italian origins with some Italian music? Even if just added as interludes during every few pieces, it would enhance the ambiance. We had to raise our voices to carry on our conversation, but it was manageable. However, when I came back the next week with a friend with a hearing impairment, it became more problematic. She tried adjusting her hearing aids, but the thumping rhythm kept taking precedence as we tried to find a quieter corner, but it wasn't possible as it is a small space and speakers were close to each table. I felt so bad that she couldn't enjoy a meal there--we both were so looking forward to having a fresh pasta dish, but just couldn't stay. Upon leaving, I felt I should let management know why so I waited to speak to him, offering constructive criticism about the sound level but he was not the least apologetic nor said he would take it under advisement, but was completely dismissive and harrumphy as though we were annoying problems and not potential regulars with suggestions worthy of consideration. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control? People, whether on the spectrum, with hearing impairments, or just lovers of good conversation deserve respect and when it is not given, will go elsewhere....

The setting does a lot of the work: a large, charming garden with plenty of outdoor seating that gives the whole place a cozy, almost village feel. Inside, there's a small bar that's tough to get into, but it's really your only option if you're walking in without a reservation and don't want to wait an hour or more. The kitchen is usually the highlight. With an Italian chef behind it, everything leans fresh and well executed--pizzas consistently shine, and the salads are just as strong. This time, though, the bolognese was a miss. The pasta was clearly overcooked, which stood out given how reliable the food typically is--felt more like an off night than the norm. The wine-by-the-glass list is solid and approachable, and the many awards feel well deserved overall. A diverse staff adds to the cosmopolitan yet relaxed atmosphere. Even with the misstep, Cibo holds its place as one of the better all-around dining experiences downtown.

The restaurant is a converted house, with most of the seating being in what had been the yard. There are a number of shade trees here, plus they have umbrellas, fans, and misters to keep it comfortable. It *may* be possible to sit inside as well, but this would likely require a reservation much further out than ours. The outside dining area was packed the whole time we were there. The outside tables were relatively comfortable when we ate here. They moved an umbrella over to block the setting sun for about 20 minutes, which was great. It looked like they had a musician tuning up her guitar but she had not started before we left. The menu featured selections of pastas, pizzas, and salads. We sampled 3 pizzas, all of which were good. As we were travelling and flying out the next morning, 2 of us split one, which was perfect for not having leftovers. The 4 in our group also sampled an appetizer composed of a fried rice ball with cheese. I was skeptical, but it was actually good. Parking is on-street, as there did not appear to be a dedicated lot for the restaurant itself. It was a busy area, but we did end up finding some spaces about a block and a half away in a residential area. I would definitely be up for another meal here.

I know it's part of a chain, but somehow it still keeps that independent feel. The one in Phoenix is in an old building, perhaps an old house?. It's got old hardwood floors and a maze of rooms all decorated with antiques and stained glass. One of the best things is the trolley car in the middle of the restaurant with seating inside. I've always wanted to sit there, but it seems like we always have a party that's too big for one of the tables in there. Another really awesome thing is the barber table in the bar. It is literally barber chairs around a sink that's been turned into a table with barber poles around it. It's pretty cool. Our server was a super polite and happy Young man. He was very accommodating. The meals are three course meals. They start with your choice of a salad or a cup of minestrone. You can upgrade to a Caesar salad, but I think the garden salad with ranch dressing is really good. Hubby had the minestrone, and as it is every time we go, it's a pretty hearty cup of soup. It is loaded with vegetables and beans and pasta. Honestly, after a cup of minestrone, I don't know how much room I have left for pasta. They also bring loaves of freshly baked bread to the table. I really like the bread there because most of the time restaurants will bring you sourdough. I don't like sourdough. But this is just a delicious white Italian bread served up with butter. I have the spaghetti with meatballs and asked to change from marinara sauce to meat sauce. I am very, very picky about pasta sauce, and I actually love their meat sauce here. The meatballs were good here too. After having a piece of bread and my salad, I ended up taking home most of my pasta. The third course is a choice of spumoni, sherbert, or vanilla ice cream. I hadn't had sherbert in years and decided to go with that and it was really good. They have a senior menu, and when I asked how old you have to be, she said it doesn't really matter. So I guess anybody can order off the senior menu. The portions are just a little bit smaller, and not everything that's available in the regular menu is available on the senior menu. It's a couple dollars cheaper, and you also get tea, coffee, or milk included with your bread, entree, super salad, and dessert. It's such a good deal! I think my meal was 1799 and it included all of that! This is a great place to celebrate a birthday or graduation. They have several separate rooms for parties as well. There's one room where you're sitting in the window of the restaurant - - I always thought that would be kind of cool to be able to sit in there. You can make reservations, and I really suggested if you're going on a weekend evening. Also, if you don't want to hassle with parking, there's a light rail station immediately in front of the restaurant.

It was not good, and definitely was not worth the price. The chicken cubes in my dish were so hard, I felt like they were from frozen and not thawed/cooked properly. Bae also felt like his chicken in this chicken parm was from frozen. It was very tough, too. The pasta/sauce portion of both our dishes was also nothing to write home about. We felt like we could have done this quality of food at home, essentially. I only took a few bites of my plate and then asked for a box to take home. It was really not doing it for me.
