I asked for more and Robbie, the only person in front said that's the correct amount of exactly 3 oz and refuse to give me anymore. Robbie has the look of the most uncaring and indifferent attitude. I love flame broiler but after my last visit to this location I have not been back and it took me awhile to go back to another. Neither my boyfriend or I's bowls tasted very fresh which put a bad taste in my mouth as flame broiler is rarely disappointing. Came here yesterday while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. The husband loves this place so I decided to see what all the hoopla was about. I got a mini combination bowl with brown rice and it was decent. It was about 370 calories, which is pretty good for the amount of food you get. It would be nice to have some veggies with it as a default though. The meat was alright. Some of it was a bit chewy. The magic sauce was a little too sweet for me. This is my first time at any flame broiler. I asked for a mixture of white and dark meat. Usually If you want a white meat upgrade, it's $1.50 on top of the regular $6.65. Making a small bowl of rice and chicken close to $8. I think not... So I wanted half white half dark , but they still wanted to charge me for a full order of all white. I didn't feel like getting ripped off today so I got half chicken and half beef. I got the order and they didn't even fill up the bowl!! I stopped in here after my flight landed because I was super hungry and didn't want bogus Doritos and Terra Blues during my flight. I was pretty amazed at the fact that they could actually prepare this type of meal as a "fast food" when most restaurant would have it as something made to order on a menu. Because I'm a vegetarian, all I wanted were the veggies and the brown rice and the cashier told me there was no option on the register for that order. I had absolutely no problem in paying for a chicken bowl with no chicken but I guess she was being practical and told me it was on the house. So sweet! The food was pretty good too and definitely satisfied my hunger. There was no more magic sauce on either side of the table so I was pretty bummed out about that but people rave about it so I trust it's good. read more

Ordered two bowls one chicken and one half and half. Both where regular bowls and had the content of a mini. I was very disappointed as I have eaten at many other locations and not experienced this before. Both had very little rice and meat. Being that rice is very cheap one would expect the bowl to be full. So I recommend eating somewhere else. The in-n-out would probably have been a better choice read more

UPDATE: Komail, the owner, reached out to me after our initial bad experience. He looked into the issue and discovered that there was a batch of rice that was burned the day we initially visited and ordered food. He offered to remake our order on another day which they did today. MUCH better experience! The rice was excellent and the food tasted fresh, including the juicy chicken. I really appreciate good customer service and the owner taking the time to look into this matter. Original post: We have ordered here several times before and haven't had many issues until today. We ordered to go and everything was a disaster. The brown rice was super hard and dry (usually their brown rice is pretty good) to the point where my co-worker and I couldn't even chew through it. Then I took a bite of something that was hard and dry that I couldn't bite through, which turned out to be a piec chicken. Chicken should not be that tough. THE WORST SERVICE EVER. Went in on a weeknight, maybe 2 other people in there. Waited a full 30 minutes after I placed my order to get my food (two bowls). After they were about 6 numbers past my order, I approached the counter to ask if they had forgotten us. The woman said "It's coming!" and with an open hand gestured me away from her. UNACCEPTABLE! When I walked away, she said to the employee at the counter, "They're starting to get attitude, tell them I am the manager!" This one manager, a woman whose name starts with a 'V', ruined the entire experience. It was appalling. When we finally got the food, it was nothing special, especially for the price. I am a regular customer at this establishment. I always get very nice, customer service friendly employees. Today I came in & asked if I could PURCHASE some of the containers for the hot sauce. The Indian guy with an irritated attitude told me they don't do that & offered me ONE tiny container!! I haven't tried the food yet and I want to leave right away. It is like a sauna in the establishment. The poor employees!! How can you make them work in these conditions management?? Is it because your not here having to endure this heat?? It is way to hot in here. If I didn't pay for my food already I would leave. Every person after me I can hear then comment on the heat. This is ridiculous, I understand cutting back expenses but think about your workers. I can't even imagine the cooks how it must feel in the back. This should be against workers rights to have to work in the heat like that. Management you should be ashamed of yourselves. And work there yourself in that heat. Get them some fans at least. Brought the food home and was so disappointed when I saw the food. What the heck happened to their portion size??! In the past I had been able to save a lil for later, the bowls are usually packed, piled high, but not this time, the bowls were only two-thirds full! I finished the whole bowl with the small amount of food and was still hungry! For the cost of these pricey bowls I would expect my money's worth, a good amount of food! The woman who closed on 8/27 at this location was amazing. I was that customer who was on the phone while I was ordering, so I changed my order a few times, but she was extremely patient. Worst Flame Broiler experience ever. The place was filthy, the condiments were empty, the service was awful. They asked 3 times for my order and when I got my order they messed it up. Then the guy behind the counter instead of fixing it for me he offered me another bowl of rice to fix it myself. The place was pretty much empty , so it wasn't like they were super busy. The food wasn't to the quality I have had in the past from flame broiler. The white chicken was full of fat and over cooked. Horrible experience and turned me off from ever going back to any Flame Broiler. This location just opened a year or so ago. I expected more from it but careless employees.
