I've tried this place three times. Every time I'd get burnt or overly charred chicken. The last time I went in, the chicken was so badly burnt each piece crumbled between my fingers, think black Cheetos! So gross, threw the whole thing away and raided my fridge for leftovers. Totally unacceptable to pass this stuff off as food. The menu is so simple, is it that hard? Wouldn't repetition eventually aid in some sort of skill or ability being formed? After a bad experience with my order, the owner Komail reached out to me and offered to fix the problem. I wasn't expecting much out of it but after seeing the type of person and how much he cared for the customers and the establishment. It's safe to say that this flame broiler location is now my favorite. The level of professionalism his staff and himself presented is not like any other establishment I've been too. I LOVE Flame Broiler! It's healthy AND delicious! I usually love this location in particular, it's much bigger than most, a nice restaurant type layout and is always extremely clean and well stocked! Unfortunately, lately I have been snagging it for dinner later in the evenings rather than my typical lunch on the go. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! While the food and cleanliness is always nice, if you value good customer service, DO NOT go to this location during the evening! While on quite the contrary, if you were to visit during the day, customer service is outstanding! It is quick pace and I never have to wait long for my food unlike at night where there is a noticeable difference in their promptness by comparison! There are two girls who work during the evenings who are just as bland as can be! They always look snobby and the woman manager is quite rude! Compared to the morning crew who is always smiling, sometimes even singing, and constantly laughing with each other and engaging the customers in conversation, it almost makes it unbearable to watch their night crew come in! The night crew gets an F in customer service! You can tell there is obvious tension and they just make the whole experience awful, especially the rude manager who continuously bosses around the rest of the crew and lingers over shoulders while she always appears to be doing nothing but talking their ears off! I'm not sure what is going on with the night crew but hopefully they either shape up or ship out pretty soon! Large parking lot out front but it's shared with several other businesses so you may not be able to park close. They should consider having a few parking spots directly out front for easy access. I never ever tried Flame Broiler until my co-worker brought some beef teriyaki for me. I liked how they cooked the meat and even the quality of meat they used! So, my boyfriend and I tried this place again, and he actually loved it. It's actually healthier (I think? haha) than other teriyaki joints around. Unlike other teri restos, Flame Broiler actually focus on their consumers' health--they have all these nutritional facts and such. Anyways, I love love their Angus beef especially with brown rice! Yuuum, but their chicken was also delicious, it was flavorful and so meaty! I think you're better off with their plates ;P It consist of fresh cabbage salad with dressing and a seasonal fruit--it's also affordable and great deal! This is exactly what Yoshinoya should have been. I don't know about you all, but I hate Yoshinoya. Their food doesn't taste real, the meats taste funny, the rice doesn't even taste like rice and their vegetables taste awful and unauthentic. Now here's Flame Broiler, not only do they have low calorie meals but their food tastes sooo delish!! I love the works bowl and the chicken bowl. So yummy!! I discovered this place thanks to the boyfriend in their Long Beach location. I also enjoy their savory sauces :p If you're ever in the mood for a bowl, come here! As soon as we walked into the resturant we were greeted. But I noticed right away the floor was very VERY dirty as well as all of the tables. I was upset and disgusted with how it looked. In the middle of ordering our food, a co-worker who I assume was clocked out, started to talk to the guy taking our order. He had to repeat our order several times back to us and was very distracted by the girl talking to him. I felt that was very rude of her and him. He did not look professtional. The Hubster and I have worked in Sales for a combined 25 years, so we appreciate great service when we receive it. :) We had the privilege of being served by Joseph last Saturday afternoon. He's a young guy, therefore, we were positive this was his first job. Having said this, we left knowing he's been trained well by his manager. Joseph has been trained how to treat people, and it showed. So kudos to you, Manager! We let Joseph know, when we were there, we appreciated his working ways. This location sucks!! I've only come here twice but both times they've (by "they" I mean some girl that appears to be new) managed to mess up my order. First time they did not give my bf the extra chicken he ordered even after he SHOWED them that it was not added. So we paid extra for the non existent "extra" chicken. The second time instead of giving me a beef bowl and the works like I had ordered, they gave me two works bowls. When I went up to the counter to let the girl know, she just gave me a blank stare like she had no clue what to do. like take the damn bowl back and give me what i actually ordered, its not that hard. This girl seems to be new and absolutely clueless. They need to train her better or get rid of her. She was cleaning the counter top while orders were just sitting there waiting to be called. Also, she mixed up someone's order and had the customer go outside and chase down the girl that might've took his order.. like what? I understand being new and slow, but this girl is just an idiot. This is by far the best Flame Broiler I have ever been to. I eat here anywhere from three to five days a week. This Flame Broiler is owned by Komail. This man is extremely hardworking and puts in a tremendous amount of effort in making sure his business is running efficiently. He has done an excellent job with the place. The staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and courteous to everyone who comes in. They make me feel very welcomed. They know me by name and even remember what I order every time. They always have big smiles on their faces and are always keeping busy. I read through some other reviews about the difference in customer service during the day and evening. I notice no difference at all. Their customer service is amazing. The place is always clean and well maintained. The food is cooked to perfection and is prepared extremely fast. The average wait time for my meal is usually two to four minutes. I can't forget to mention how tasty the food is, and that it's healthy! They even have my favorite soda, Coke Zero. This is the only Flame Broiler that I know of that has that! I really enjoy that the staff brings the food out to you as well! I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place.
