I was in the Long Beach area so I stopped by Pick Up Stix for some fresh salmon and broccoli and I received "outstanding" customer service from Rose. Rose was very friendly, professional and courteous, which made the visit even better Regarding the food, the salmon was amazing and it's always better to eat wild salmon than farmed salmon, and this was, of course, wild salmon! If you're in Long Beach or in the area should definitely stop by for amazing fresh food and very reasonably priced! read more

I was ordering Chinese food at another establishment but they kept messing up my orders. I decided to try Pick Up Stix and I found the food better and my order is always accurate. Plus the staff are always very friendly. Now it's my go to for a good, quick Chinese meal! read more

I showed up to the Pick Up Stix a little after five and they were very busy. I have not ordered ahead, but I was prepared with my phone to watch a video. The people that work here are so nice. They pay really close attention to detail and the food quality is good. It's kind of back to where it was when I first started coming here. So I highly recommend it and I always get the house special chicken with something else. I highly recommend them. read more

OK, so here's the thing I would probably give it about like three stars except the tofu was actually really incredible So I'm vegetarian to take how you will. I love tofu I love all tofu. Obviously, I got the tofu. But it was really really good tofu. Even my boyfriend tried it and he said it was probably the best thing out of everything we ordered. Given that, we did also get noodles and my boyfriend. I think got something chicken. These were just OK. I would say panda express was probably better for those items. But the tofu was really delicious and I will probably just be back to get an just the tofu. Surface was good. Friendly. We did dine in, but most everyone was to intake out or Uber eats or something. I wouldn't say this is a fancy nice place but is reasonable to sit there and eat at the table. read more

Typically I have a good experience. This time, I found two bugs in my food. I wasn't comfortable eating the rest so I had to throw it away. They were in the rice specifically. Service is always friendly though. read more

The service was great, the staff is very friendly at this location. The food was really fresh! This is the best pick up Stix location!

Very disappointing...we have been customers for more than 15 years and have always loved the food. But tonight it was terrible, the house chicken came in chunks of dry meat. With hardly any sauce. It used to be smaller pieces with a generous amount of house sauce. And the lo mein was a combination of noodles, one which was stringy, and not appealing. So disappointing. I don't know what happened but this location went downhill. read more

OMG what happened to pick up stix?? I got ripped off. It used to be so juicy and yummy and filling. But my house chicken order last night was incredibly dry and the portion was incredibly small. I was STARVING after my meal. This place used to be amazing but they changed everything! Less food, less sauce, more money. I dont mind paying more but not for way less food. I'm so so disappointed. How is this place in business? read more

I ordered food from them this lunch time with my husband. Mongolian beef, fried rice, original chicken and noodles. It was so disgusting. Original chicken and noodle was so bad. We tried one bite and it went to the trash can. It was shocking... we ate half of beef and fried rice then both of us got diarrhea. Don't go there, it's a waste of money and makes you sick. I'm Asian. Never had this bad experience in my life. read more

It has been a long time since I've eaten here. I must say I appreciate how the food is still very consistent and it's flavor and quality..

Tried the new wings today in the house special sauce. They were so good! They were perfectly cooked and had a good amount of sauce. Was a great deal considering how big the wings were and it came with rice and an appetizer (I had the cream cheese wontons). I hope the wings stay for awhile! read more

I wasn't going to leave a review, but honestly their low rating shocked me. I have never been here before but was in the same shopping center and it smelt good. So decided to grab some take out. It's a fast food place, I don't know what people expect. They have nice patio seating outside, I liked all the food I ordered besides the egg rolls and the place is pretty clean. I don't have any complaints. I even have some leftovers for tomorrow now. I'd definitely come back for some take out or even eating inside. The place was clean and they have nice booths to sit in (I'm a booth gal, not a chair one) read more

I have been going to pick up Stix since they first opened in the 2000s. This location is one of the really good ones. The food is always delicious and tastes super fresh. They asked me to leave a review (in exchange for free fountain drinks), so here I am. Been coming to this location for years and it's been reliable, but today sucked. To be fair, my dining partner's meal (honey chicken and brown rice) was ok, but my Chinese salad w/ salmon was just awful: lettuce going brown/bad, stale noodles, way too many sesame seeds to cover it all, and salmon that looked more like chicken. Not sure if this was a fluke or not, but I'll think twice before returning. This sucked. read more

Been coming to this location for years and I always get their house chicken and it's good for being fast food. Chicken I got was drier then usual and I don't like that they are stingy on how much of the crunchy noodles they have in each bag. Which even after COVID was smaller. Now today feels like they are reducing how much they give. read more

Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors - HOUSE CHICKEN WITH BROWN RICE - Chinese Near Me - Long Beach, California

I 0000 ordered Kung Pao Chicken to be 00 and received this. Unbelievable...just a pile of gross brown looking stuff. No veggies, no peanuts... ..it's weird brown remnants that look like it was from the bottom of a container. Its awful. I bought other dishes too and I'm throwing everything away. What a waste of almost $50-$60. read more

Last night, I ordered takeout for my gf to pickup. The gentleman on the phone was pleasant and my order was fairly simple: 1 house special chicken with white rice and one garlic shrimp with brown rice. He said 15 minutes and I advised my gf wouldn't get there for about 30 minutes so if he needed to prioritize other orders it would be totally fine, we understand operations are unusual these days. He thanked me and that was that. My gf picked up the food and came home. Upon arriving home, I checked the receipt and opened the boxes. The order was slightly incorrect. read more

Came to Long Beach for work and stopped by. The service was great, very friendly staff.

I rarely ever go to commerical chain Chinese food places, but I had ordered Pick Up Stix for takeout since one of my classmates had recommended it. He loves their wonton soup, which I should have asked to taste... FIRECRACKER CHICKEN. I love the sweetness followed by a little kick of heat. Gotta say, this was my first time having the firecracker chicken, and I enjoyed the flavor and the texture. Tasted like glazed fried chicken. Had this with steamed rice I made at home. CHOW MEIN. So, this was okay. Not spectacular. Will def do the firecracker chicken again. Maybe try the firecracker sauce with the tofu next time. If they can get the texture of the tofu to crisp like fried chicken, I know it will be totally bomb when glazed. read more

Amazing food and service! Try the House Chicken Nachos when they have them in May! Make sure to also try their Cream Cheese Wontons.

We order takeout from here about once a month and it is very convenient to order online then pick up at time we chose. We love their food!

I did an online order and I've been waiting for 30 minutes without a hello how can I help you with an attitude?

This used to be an easy go to for some good food that was healthy and quick... something happened since the pandemic because the quality of the food has gone away. I always get the Pad Thai noodles and the last two times I have gotten them (included my last stop) it seems they are using egg noodles instead of rice noodles... definitely not the same. My wife got the chicken lettuce wraps and she was not happy. Lots of fatty chicken meat that she could barely eat. No peanuts with the lettuce wraps either. Sad to see this place not the same... read more
